It's safe to say Orton does nof like it, his recent tweets are throwing so much shade. In my opinion it's pretty disrespectful of him as I'm huge fan of the indies and their work. Not saying that WWE stars don't work their tails off, but so do the indy stars. They have real passion, just like most WWE wrestlers.

See, here's the thing. I hate to be "that guy" but most of these guys aren't coming in third generation. They can't waltz in and get the job because of their last name. Randy Orton did so, and even though he's worked hard to get where he is, his foot was placed in the door because of Bob Orton Jr. Heck, with as many steroid uses Orton has had and other outside the ring issues, his last name has kept him in the WWE!
People worked the Indies with tiny paychecks for a decade to try and make their name themselves. Allen Jones would be nobody if it wasn't him working the independents and being known as AJ Styles. I could go on and on and on. I have the utmost respect for those who fought through the tough years while not getting the credit or platform they deserved.
Now with that said, I think the independent wrestlers coming into WWE should have respect for those already established and not expect things to be the same or for anything to be handed to them when coming to WWE, just because they were big in ROH.
No matter how they got to the WWE, to arrive, stay, and even have some success is rare in itself. They should all have a basis of respect for one another. Orton could do a better job exhibiting it here, especially as the veteran.

Orton blocked me on Twitter!!! Hahahahahahaha What did you say? LOL Well he put out another tweet how indy wrestlers only perform in front of a fraction of what WWE crowds are. He also mocked what indy stars were payed. He bragged about how he earns millions and that the indy guys make nothing and basically he said they are nothing because of it. I tweeted back saying that I lost all of my respect for Orton and that a lot of indy stars compete in the ring because they have real passion for wrestling, and that they're not in it for the money. He then blocked me lol |
