NWA - Revival
Matt Striker and Alex Riley are at ringside commentary. They welcome everyone in attendance and watching at home. The arena and crowd housing Revival's first ever episode is filled with around 1,000 fans. Shane McMahon's theme hits and he gets a big ovation as he makes his way to the ring. He enters the squared circle and takes a mic. Shane talks about the impact that professional wrestling has had on his lifes. He adds that it has had many ups and downs, with the downs seemingly outnumbering the ups. That is until now. Shane says that it has been a long, harsh journey to get here, but if he had to go back, he'd do it all over if it meant starting NWA. The crowd pops. Shane says that he'd like to turn things over to the General Manager of Revival, he then introduces Stu Bennett. Bennett gets a pop as he comes to the ring. Shane hands off the mic and leaves as Bennett looks out to the crowd. Bennett says that he isn't going to talk everyone's ears off like Shane. He says that he isn't a man of business, but a man of getting down to business! The crowd cheers as Bennett announces that it is time for the first match in the NWA World Heavyweight Championship tournament. Melissa Santos steps into the ring to announce the competitors as Bennett leaves.
NWA World Heavyweight Championship Tournament RD 1 Cody w/ Brandi Rhodes vs. Eddie Edwards
It's the inaugural match of Revival and what a way to kick things off with Cody taking on Eddie Edwards. Eddie Edwards looked to have the match in the bag after spiking Cody on his head with the frankensteiner, but Brandi Rhodes caused a distraction. As the ref dealt with Brandi, the Young Bucks came through the crowd and delivered a double super kick on Edwards! Cody made the cover as the referee turned back to the match. 1, 2, 3! Cody advances to RD2 thanks to his wife and Bullet Club brethren.
Cameras are somewhere backstage and they are on Dezmond Xavier, who will later compete in tonight's battle royal that will crown the first ever NWA Television Champion. Xavier says that he has fought all of his life for a moment like tonight. He says that it's time for him to prove that he belongs. Xavier looks full of confidence as cameras fade.
McKenzie Mitchell is backstage standing by with Cody, Brandi, and the Young Bucks. She talks about how Cody won his match and advanced in the world title tournament, but she asks at what cost. Cody says that he's going to stop her before she can say anything else. What happened just a few moments ago was the inevitable. He says that with or without his wife and brethren, he'll win this tournament and become the first ever NWA World Heavyweight Champion. He looks to the Bucks and announces that it's time to prep tonight's celebration, because after Kenny Omega wins tonight's battle royal and becomes the Television Champion, it's all down hill from there. They walk off as McKenzie sends it back to ringside.
Bea Priestley vs. Laurel Van Ness
The crowd was behind Priestley in this one as she and Laurel had a long back and forth contest. But late in the match, the two womwn brawled on the outside, and Laurel cheaply capitalized by ramming Preistley's knew into the steel post! But as Laurel got Priestley back into the ring, Priestley countered into a small package for a close 2 count. Priestley tried to take advantage as she went for a super kick, but her knee gave out. Laurel took her tomthe corner and then to the top rope. But Priestley countered and she knocked Laurel to the mat below. Bea Priestley finished things off with a double foot stomp from the top rope! 1, 2, 3! Bea Priestley gains momentum heading into the NWA Fatale Championship battle royal, which will take place next week on Revival! Bea Priestley celebrated her victory as cameras fade away.
Abyss is shown pacing back and forth in what seems like the boiler room. He is approached by his former tag team partner from Impact Wrestling, Crazzy Steve! The two have a long stare down. The ice breaks with Abyss asking Steve what he wants. Steve says that it's obvious, they want the same thing. Suddenly from the shadows, Rosemary appears. Rosemary says that the door to immortality has reopened. She brings up how both Abyss and Crazzy Steve will be competing in tonight's Television title battle royal, but she asks them to remember their roots as we are all DECAY! She let's out a maniacal laughter as cameras fade away.
NWA World Heavyweight Championship Tournament RD1 Eli Drake vs. Johnny Morrison
Eli Drake was in control for most of the match. He looked to finish Johnny Morrison off with Blunt Force Trauma, but Morrison blocked the knee and hit Drake with an enzguri! Morrison finished Drake off by hitting him with Starship Pain followed by the 3! Johnny Morrison advances to RD2!
A promo airs for the debut of Bullet Club member, and the man known as the Villain, Marty Scrull! Scrull debuts next week on Revival!
Sienna vs. Ava Storie
Ava Storie had no chance in this one as Sienna was simply dominating. She hit Ava with all of her signature moves before finishing her off with the AK47, and the 1, 2, 3! After the match, Sienna got on the mic and she talked about next week's battle royal for the Fatale Championship. Sienna says that she doesn't care what she has to do, she will be champion at any cost.
Matt Striker and Alex Riley preview the Fatale Championship battle royal then go on to talk about the conclusion of RD 1 of the NWA World Heavyweight Championship Tournament. Next week we will see Ethan Carter III take on Bobby Lashley and Alberto El Patron take on James Storm!
Main Event NWA Television Championship Battle Royal
Abyss, Adam Page, Braxton Sutter, Chris Adonis, Crazzy Steve, Dezmond Xavier, Joey Ryan, Kenny Omega, Matt Sydal, Trevor Lee
The final four men left. Dezmond Xavier, Kenny Omega, Abyss, and Crazzy Steve. Abyss and Steve double teamed many of their opponents for most of the match. With Kenny Omega down, Dezmond Xavier tried to take it to Decay by himself. But Abyss chokeslammed Xavier with ease. As Abyss went to dump Xavier over the ropes, Kenny Omega came running at Decay from behind! Omega threw Steve into Abyss and the momentum caused Abyss to go over the ropes, eliminating him! Dezmond Xavier however held on! Kenny Omega hit Crazzy Steve with the One Winged Angel before tossing him over the ropes and eliminating him. Dezmond Xavier came from behind Omega and hit him with a back stabber! As Xavier picked Omega up, Omega countered and he tried to eliminate Xavier! But Xavier then slipped away and backflipped away from Omega. Kenny Omega charged Xavier and Xavier managed to pull the top rope down! Omega flies over the ropes, but he hangs on! As Omega scurries to his feet on the apron, Dezmond Xavier quickly snags him and hits a cutter! Omega's throat smacks off of the top rope and he falls off of the apron to the floor below! Kenny Omega has been eliminated! Dezmond Xavier has done it! He is the first ever NWA Television Champion! Kenny Omega tries to recover on the outside and he looks on in disbelief as General Manager, Stu Bennett comes to the ring to crown Xavier the champion. He awards him the title and raises Xavier's hand. Dezmond Xavier then celebrates like crazy with the NWA Television Championship. Revival goes off the air with Xavier holding his title high.
~End of Show~

Revival Review (I could make a column with that name):
- Love the emphasis on 1000 fans. Shows you're building this from the ground up and that is your intentions - The man getting down to business line was awesome - Cody won, kept Eddie strong, and strengthened the Bullet Club bond! Perfect opener! - A good prelude to next week's battle royal for the female championship between Priestley and LVN. Not too confident of a battle royal, especially with the battle royal later tonight, but that's another story - A Decay reunion? Let it be so! - Eli Drake is great, but obviously Morrison was winning that match! He'll advance! - Marty Scurll debuts next week? Still wish he was in the battle royal, but that's okay... he'll conquer eventually! - Sienna owning Ava Storie was probably a squash. The only tweak would've been someone else from the female division, like Viper, come and show Sienna she has competition - Glad you split the first round of tournament matches between two weeks. I love that move! - I absolutely adore you didn't have a tournament match close. Shows each is on the same level, and you do have a title match to put in its place, so stellar booking! - I would wish we had an 'Order of Elimination' to get us to the Final Four, and you could've used that to build on storylines for the next few weeks. - Omega throwing Steve into Abyss would've worked better vice versa, since Abyss would've plowed through Steve. - Xavier and Omega was the right call to end on, rather than one of the Decay members. - Desmond Xavier is champion?!
I expect a Xavier/Omega rivalry to happen, and I hope this Decay reunion lasts... Best of luck next week!
