iWrestling
The show begins with JR introducing himself along side his broadcast partner, Hardcore Holly. As they begin to rundown tonight’s show, the music of iWrestling’s General Manager hits! Adam “Edge” Copeland is greeted with a huge pop from the crowd. Edge makes his way to the ring and takes a mic. He begins talking about how much it means to a wrestler to be able to stand in the squared circle. He says that even though it may not feel like it all the time, it does in fact mean you made it. He says it doesn’t matter if your competing in a high school gym in front of a few hundred people, or if you’re doing it in front of 50,000 in a sold out stadium. Being in a ring means you are living your dream, and when he looks at the iWrestling roster, he sees hungry, fierce, and unlimited potential. He says that every wrestler in the back right now is living their dream, and iWrestling is where moments will be made! He continues on and says that this roster of stars will prove their worth night in and night out because that’s just who they are. At iWrestling, we fight! The crowd pops. Edge says that it’s time to get the show on the road as he hands the mic off to ring announcer, Melissa Santos. The crowd gets excited as she announces “the following contest is scheduled for one fall!” The crowd yells out “ONE FALL!” as she finishes her sentence.
Sami Callihan vs. Travis Banks
The two up and coming stars with totally different personalities have kicked off iWrestling’s inaugural show. It was a fast paced match with neither man willingbto give in. After a handful of reversals, it was Travis Banks who prevailed, delivering a German suplex into a pinning predicament, and scoring the pin fall over Callihan. Banks was announced the winner, and he began to celebrate as the crowd cheered. Sami Callihan was shown leaving with a look of rage and embarrassment in his eyes as Banks celebrated. Cameras fade away with Travis Banks standing tall.
Coming up next! The Women’s Division takes center stage as Pittsburgh’s Britt Baker takes on Scotland’s Kay Lee Ray
Britt Baker vs. Kay Lee Ray
The match began with a slap of the hands as the two women had great respect for each other. After exchanging numerous near falls, Britt Baker came out on top when she nailed Ray with a super kick, followed by locking in the Rings of Saturn, forcing Ray to tap out! After the match, Baker helped Ray to her feet and the two hugged. Kay Lee Ray then left the ring as Britt Baker celebrated her victory.
The Young Bucks vs. oVe
Two of the hottest teams in professional wrestling are going head to head! The Bucks have been in total control for most of the match, but Dave Crist gave oVe the advantage they needed as he countered Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks and hit him with an electric chair drop! Dave made the tag to his younger brother, Jake. As Jake entered the ring, Matt Jackson made it to his brother, Nick! Jake Crist took a running start and he floored Matt with a clothesline! Matt was quick to his feet, but Jake met him with strike after strike! He managed to take him into the corner. Matt fought back and knocked Jake away. Matt to the top rope! Matt Jackson with a diving crossbody! But Jake Crist manages to use Matt’s momentum, and he flips him over into a cover! 1, 2, kick out! Matt barely kicks out! As Jake gets to his feet, he signals for the end, but he gets distracted as Nick Jackson comes from behind Dave out on the apron. Nick rips Dave from the apron then knocks him out cold with a super kick on the outside! As Jake goes to help his brother, Matt grabs him from behind and he rolls him up with a grip of the tights for the 1, 2, 3! The Young Bucks are announced as the winners, and they quickly exit the ringside area. At the top of the entrance stage, they perform the “Too Sweet” gesture. Cameras fade away with oVe trying to recover.
Edge is shown backstage and he is loving the show so far. A production worker approaches him and asks him what they should do about the advertising of tonight’s main event. Edge thinks to himself for a moment before saying that tonight’s show needs a main event that will be one for the ages. He then announces that Austin Aries and Kenny Omega will go one on one! That’s right! The Greatest Man That Ever Lived will go head to head with The Cleaner! Aries, Omega tonight!
Cameras come back to ringside and Jack Swagger is shown standing in the ring. Swagger reveals that he is apart of iWrestling, and that he is going to takeover the promotion. Swagger says that just by his name alone, opponents should fear their ankles being shattered. Suddenly Swagger is interrupted by EC3! Ethan Carter III is in iWrestling! EC3 takes a mic and calls out Swagger’s trash talk. He then asks Swagger to back it up. Swagger tries to get out of the situation by talking things down, but Edge appears on stage and books a match between EC3 and Jack Swagger for right now!
Ethan Carter III vs. Jack Swagger
EC3 dominated for most of the match, but Swagger caused EC3 to trip up into the ropes, giving Swagger the advantage. Swagger targeted EC3’s right ankle, smashing it off of the turnbuckle post! But as he locked in his signature ankle lock, EC3 refused to submit! EC3 managed to turn his body and kick himself free. But now he’s battling on a hobbled ankle. Swagger quickly managed to get back control of the match by chopping down at the injured ankle. He then went for the Gutwrench Powerbomb, but EC3 counters! And from out of nowhere he connects with the 1%er followed by the 3 count! EC3 is victorious in his iWrestling debut. Swagger rolls out of the ring as EC3 stands tall. EC3 celebrated as Swagger disgustedly looked on.
Travis Banks is shown backstage and a reporter comes to him and asks on how he feels about winning the first match in iWrestling’s history. Banks says that it couldn’t have felt better. But before he can say anything else, Sami Callihan blasts him from behind! Callihan unloads on Banks with shot after shot! He picks Banks up and launches him into a storage container! Callihan screams at Banks, calling him a fluke and a fraud. He yells that Banks has no idea what he’s started before slamming him across a catering table! Security and officials rush to Travis Banks’ aid as Sami Callihan walks off.
As order is restored and cameras return to ringside, Melissa Santos is in the ring ready to announce the next match.
Alpha Female vs. Santana Garrett
This one was a one sided affair. Garrett hit Alpha Female with everything she had, but Alpha Female brushed it off like it was nothing. Alpha Female scored the 1, 2, 3 after crushing Santana Garrett with the Omega Slam.
Cameras go backstage and Edge is shown talking to someone on his cellphone, and it appears he is trying to recruit a big name to iWrestling! Who could it be!? Cameras return to ringside and it is time for our main event!
Kenny Omega vs. Austin Aries
It was a long and grueling match for both men as they hit each other with just about everything in their arsenals. The fans were divided on who they wanted to win, cheering back and forth for both men. As things began to look in favor of Austin Aries, the Young Bucks ran down to ringside. However, Aries was ready for them and he knocked both of them off of the ring apron. But as Aries turned around, Kenny Omega was waiting for him. V-Trigger! Aries is on spaghetti legs and Omega hoists him up, One Winged Angel! Cover! 1, 2, 3! Kenny Omega is victorious. The Young Bucks get into the ring and begin to celebrate. They help Omega to his feet and Omega has an interesting look on his face. It seems he didn’t want help in the match. Suddenly Cody and Brandi Rhodes along with Marty Scrull walk out onto the entrance way. Cody begins applauding Omega’s victory. Omega eventually joins in on the celebration and the Bullet Club stands tall as iWrestling’s inaugural episode goes off the air.
