WWE has confirmed that Dean Ambrose will be leaving the company once his contract is up in April. Man this is a bummer. But they weren’t using him correctly in my opinion. He had the potential of becoming one of the all time great heels after he turned on Rollins, but creative dropped the ball big time with his character and story. Hopefully Ambrose resurfaces down the road in AEW!

Chosen One Last time WWE publicized someone leaving the company? CM Punk in the Summer of Punk. I have a feeling this is to create a lot of buzz and push Ambrose to the moon. The fact they: - Publicly acknowledged Ambrose is leaving shortly after WrestleMania - Best friends Reigns and Rollins there - Wife Renee Young there - Ambrose remains on TV this all makes me believe it is a storyline.

I feel like it’s a storyline too! I’ll be very shocked if he’s truly out. And this gets him back on a directional path. The germaphobe gimmick didn't click and this should be another way to get him a push. Heck, have Rollins win the title from Lesnar at Mania and then get Ambrose to trick Rollins into a title match the night after, get the title, and the storyline then gets that much bigger. |
