I have never been more upset with WWE than I am now.
Advertised was the House of Horrors Match for the WWE Championship. Bray Wyatt wins and they don't award him the title?
That was the whole point of having the match!!!!!!!!!!! smh

That was the whole point of having the match!!!!!!!!!!! smh I noticed they stopped booking it as a title match a couple of weeks ago. But regardless, it's a huge win for Bray. He still won the feud in my opinion. |

"Alexa Bliss is the best say what?" WHAT!? "Exactly!" Rightful champ.
Glad the Hardyz retained. Excited to see a heel Sheamus and Cesaro team.
Biggest head scratching of the night, Jericho winning the United States Title. Thought he was leaving for a bit to tour with Fozzy, unless plans changed. Either way, hope he's staying.
Thankfully Braun won and he added A LOT of insult to injury post match. Braun really is established as the next big monsfer in WWE. Even bigger than no show Lesnar.
Overall, I enjoyed Payback and it has me excited for Raw tonight.

He still won the feud in my opinion. I never noticed lol. I thought the whole point was to give Bray his championship rematch? I thought it kinda ruined the outcome, knowing the title would stay on SmackDown, but still. I would have preferred Orton had won with it being a title match than for Wyatt to win the non-title match to bring some closure. The Hardy Boyz retaining were obvious. The heel turn was pretty unique, but now we have 3 big heel teams once The Revival comes back, with Sheasaro and Good Bros also. I expect this rivalry to take another month before we eventually see Enzo and Cass get their shots. I hope they eventually wait until The Revival come back to drop the belts. Yeah, Chris Jericho winning was a complete shocker. He's gone to SmackDown now and with AJ Styles also in the title mix, it will be interesting to see how they work that through. I hope we do get to see Kevin Owens versus AJ Styles down the line soon. Braun Strowman is probably the only guy who could realistically take the WWE Universal Championship from Lesnar at the moment. Reigns would just incite boos, others would probably be too unbelievable. I hope Strowman is the guy to take the belt away from Lesnar at SummerSlam and MAYBE that gets us to Bray Wyatt being inserted back into the title picture. |
