There were rumors floating around that longtime WWE music composer James Alan Johnston had parted ways from WWE. It's now being reported by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that this is indeed the case.
Little is known right now about why exactly he was released but the rumor is that it was not mutually agreed upon and that his release was WWE's decision.

I for one am saddened by this. His music work was legendary for the wrestling business, and this news wasn't pleasing to my ears... his music was.
