Decided to color code the TNA Heartbreak red (hearts are red) and see how it looks:
December 12 2016 Tonight's TNA Heartbreak starts with a rundown of tonight's card that is interrupted by a brawl that's ensued between Brooke Enterprise and The Briscoes throughout the Trump Plaza Hotel. In the crowd, they brawl and get to ringside eventually. After moments of this goes on, we then see Shawn Michaels calling for order. Michaels moves the tag team match up the card, announcing their match is now going to be an Anything Goes match that begins now!!
The Briscoes def. Brooke Enterprise in an Anything Goes Match Galloway and Carlito were physical tonight, but The Briscoes that much more, finally putting their foes behind them with Redneck Boogie on Carlito.
After calling a grueling match, Mauro Ranallo and James Storm speculated this places The Briscoes at the front of the line for the next title shots after tonight. We then see a video package in anticipation for the first title match of the evening.
Jenny Thunnel(c) def. Kimber Lee to retain the TNA Knockouts Championship Kimber Lee fought to no end, but Thunnel was rested and in top shape and outlasted Lee, finishing it with a Cross Armbreaker.
Chris Sabin and Dirty Standards are backstage with Jeremy Borash about tonight's events at the final TNA Heartbreak of the year. Sabin said last year at this time, he was X-Division Champion and took the championship to new heights. He said he gave AJ Styles the worst season of his life and still holds the record for being a 9-time X-Division Champion. Sabin says it's time to become a 2-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion and take the world championship to further heights, just like he did last year with the X-Division. Sabin let O'Shea and Castro cut in, who each say a couple lines about their title opportunity tonight. Cortez Castro recalled winning the titles last December with The Krew and took it into the new year, which he plans to do for 2017 as well.
Shelton Benjamin and Ricochet were seen in separate places backstage prepping for the upcoming X-Division Championship match, in which we head into the video package between Benjamin and Ricochet, featuring Shelton's win at Bound for Glory, to losing it the next night to Ricochet, and everything since then.
Ricochet(c) def. Shelton Benjamin to retain the TNA X-Division Championship An incredible display of athleticism that drew "This is Awesome" chants from the crowd, Ricochet kicked the speed up a notch towards the end, finishing with a 630 Splash.
Rey Mysterio is granted an interview with Jeremy Borash headed into the tournament finals tonight, essentially a #1 contenders match for the world title. Mysterio admitted he made a bold career move on October 19th of last year signing with TNA, coming to a new place at 40. Mysterio mentions he celebrated his 42nd birthday yesterday, December 11th, and says he worried about keeping up with the fast paced X-Division stars and some of the elites at the top of the food chain. Mysterio said he's always been the underdog at 5-foot-6 and has overcome all the odds. Mysterio says he defies the odds when he wins tonight and goes on to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship!
The Briscoes are backstage after a big win over Brooke Enterprise, and they're approached by Jeremy Borash. Still hyped up, they downplay Brooke Enterprise and said they're behind them now finally. When asked about the tag team title match tonight, they say they're hoping The Wolves win, but they'll beat Irish Borne, Dirty Standards, Dirty Heels, Beer Money, LAX, AMW, Aces and Eights, and any other team they need to to become champions. Jay and Mark say their sights are on the TNA World Tag Team Championships and will win it all, promising at the first TNA Heartbreak, they'll be coming in as champions.
The Wolves(c) def. Dirty Standards, Irish Borne, and Makabe & Honma to retain the TNA World Tag Team Championships In a 4-way, one fall to a finish, The Wolves hit Force of Nature to pin Cortez Castro and retain the championships.
Before the tournament concludes and we find out a new #1 contender, there's a video package recapturing the journeys of both Mysterio and Sabin to the finals. After the video package, Rey Mysterio enters first and Chris Sabin second. A big story is Sabin coming without Dirty Standards, who just had their title match. This also ended up being a rematch of Bound for Glory, in which Rey Mysterio went over.
Rey Mysterio def. Chris Sabin to become #1 Contender for the World Championship Mysterio and Sabin had a fair match, perhaps better than their one at BFG, and Mysterio pulled through after hitting a 619 off three earlier attempts.
Shawn Michaels is in his office and announces to Jeremy Borash about next week. Michaels says at 2016 comes to a close, he wants a lot of the rivalries to stay in the past as they look forward to 2017. Michaels begs they all join in for the final chapter in several rivalry books of 2016. They go to the commentary table and Ranallo and Storm show excitement headed into next week, but more excitement for the main event in moments. A video package is played of Roode's title victory, then AJ's title victory, and the events in recent weeks to get to this point.
AJ Styles(c) def. Bobby Roode to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship An instant classic by two TNA originals, one that saw the ref get knocked out by Roode accidentally swinging Styles in the Roode Bomb. This allowed Austin Aries to come out and hit the Brainbuster on Roode, after not being seen for weeks, and when both Styles and Hebner gained consciousness, AJ hit a Styles Clash for good measure to win.
Austin Aries, who had hid behind the apron, stood up to his feet after just costing Bobby Roode a fourth reign as the TNA World Heavyweight Champion. AJ Styles got to his feet and was handed his world championship as he held it up in the air, before going over and patting Bobby Roode as a sign of respect, and kneeling over Roode to check on him after a great match.

December 19 2016 The final live Impact episode of 2016 starts with Austin Aries, who returned last week to cost Bobby Roode the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Aries boasts of what he did last week, but he mentions Roode not being a worthy face of the company. Aries mentions his world title reign brought prestige to TNA, while Roode's only desecrated the title he made famous. Bobby Roode appears from the curtain, and as Aries is ready to make a run for it, Roode stays at the top of the ramp. Roode says he's tired of going in a circle and says tonight is supposed to be leaving 2016 in the past, and sees only one way to do that. Roode proposes a match between the two tonight, and the loser is left behind in 2016. Storm freaks out, catching on that he's suggesting a Loser Leaves TNA stipulation, which Aries nods his head to and then confirms on the mic that he accepts this stipulation tonight.Bael def. Cortez CastroBael nailed former friend Cortez Castro with the Delikado to win this match. As Cortez Castro was left in the ring on his knees, the Dirty Standards theme hit and out came Chris Sabin and Aiden O'Shea. Sabin talked through the mic of how last week was supposed to be special, and his vision didn't go as planned. Sabin said there's one person to blame for Dirty Standards losing last week at TNA Heartbreak, and points down at Cortez Castro. At this moment, O'Shea picks Castro up and demolishes him. O'Shea landed a Boomstick before Sabin talked more about as Dirty Standards approach the new year, they want to drop dead weight. Sabin says 2017 will be a great year for him and O'Shea because nothing will hold them back. Sabin then proceeds to pick up Cortez Castro and land the Cradle Shock as the final message.
Back from commercial, Shawn Michaels is pleading Bobby Roode about the stipulation. Shawn seems afraid that Austin Aries could win and lose a talent such as Bobby Roode, in which Roode catches on and says for Michaels not to worry. Roode says if in the event he were to lose, it'd be better than both of them being here. Shawn says he'll sign off on it, but he's going to rid disqualifications and count-outs in this match. Michaels told Roode anything goes in tonight's match, in which Roode just nods and leaves.
Going to ringside, the next match is explained, the first ever Security Match. Ranallo and Storm mention that the recent events with Angelico have forced this stipulation where Andrew Everett and Johnny Gargano will compete, one-on-one, with no Tyrus but with the ring surrounded with several bodyguards and security members to prevent outside interference.Andrew Everett def. Johnny GarganoAction spills to the outside and as Gargano hit a springboard moonsault, it takes out several security guards. Angelico appears just as Gargano rolls Everett back in, and this catches the attention of everyone, including Gargano who exchanges some words and almost wants to get his hands on Angelico. Once Gargano gets back in, he's thumbed in the eye and caught in a small package.Backstage, Jeremy Borash catches a word from Chris Sabin, along with Aiden O'Shea, after tonight. JB asks Sabin why he attacked Cortez Castro, and Sabin feels he's repeating himself by saying Cortez Castro was dead weight and is the only reason Dirty Standards aren't champions today, and even goes as far as to blame Castro for losing to Mysterio in the tournament finals. Sabin says he'll prove he's not dead weight tonight when he faces a familiar foe in AJ Styles, the world champion, and will sneak back into the title picture.
Knockouts Champion Jenny Thunnel is standing in the ring and mentions tonight being a night to put old rivals in the past, and says she's leaving every one of the Knockouts in 2016 and proposes they all be fired and get a brand new influx of Knockouts in 2017 so she can top them too. Gail Kim then comes out and says if tonight's to put rivals in their place, she'd like to put Thunnel in her's now. Quickly, Awesome Kong heads out and before she mutters a word, out comes Shawn Michaels. Michaels came applauding the three knockouts to taking the division to new heights this year, and decides to make a handicap match right at this moment! Thunnel wasn't pleased, and was furious when she heard there would be no tags needed.Awesome Kong & Gail Kim def. Jenny Thunnel in a 2-on-1 Handicap MatchKong and Kim picked the Knockouts Champion apart and Kim hit her Eat Defeat for Thunnel to bounce into an Implant Buster to lose to her two biggest rivals of 2016.As Shawn Michaels is entering his office, John Hennigan is standing outside his door. John Hennigan expressed his displeasure about not only being left off the show tonight, but not ending things with Robbie E tonight. Michaels understood and said while the card is booked up, he'll have to wait for 2 weeks. Hennigan raises an eyebrow and Michaels says to make it up to him, he'll make the match in two weeks a Strap Match!AJ Styles def. Chris Sabin w/Aiden O'Shea in a non-title matchCortez Castro returned to tackle Aiden O'Shea on the outside, distracting Sabin for a Pele Kick to the back of the head and put in a Styles Clash to lose the champion. As chaos between Dirty Standards and ex-member Cortez Castro was dissolving in the background, Jeremy Borash had an in-ring interview with TNA World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles. Styles thanked everyone who supported TNA in 2016 and AJ says he feels TNA is the place to be in 2017 and by this time next year, TNA will be the bar-none best promotion in the world. When Borash announced his title defense against Rey Mysterio is in two weeks, Styles mentioned he's always wanted to wrestle Rey Mysterio and since it's for the title on the very first Impact of 2017, he knows the stage is big and he wants to deliver.
Back from the final commercial, Mauro Ranallo and James Storm remind everyone December 26th is an off-week and will play some of the biggest moments in TNA's 2016 calendar year, while they return live in two weeks at the Trump Plaza Hotel. John Hennigan faces Robbie E in a Strap Match, while AJ Styles defends his TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Rey Mysterio. We then get ready for action between Bobby Roode and Austin Aries, no disqualification and no count-outs, as there must be a winner, as the loser leaves TNA.Bobby Roode def. Austin Aries This match lasts over the scheduled time, but they continue on, as Roode gets cut open first, but Aries gets the bigger cut and is gushing out. Roode began to hammer away fists before locking in a Crossface, that Aries got out of. This match ended with Aries countering a Roode Bomb with a Brainbuster, which couldn't hit because Roode reversed it into a Roode Bomb and counted the 3.
After the match was over, Bobby Roode got a towel to wipe away the bit of blood he had as he rolled out of the ring, not pleased with what he did, but knowing his feud with Austin Aries is permanently over as the final Impact goes off the air with Austin Aries laying in a puddle of his own blood, no longer with TNA.

January 2 2017 Tonight's Impact starts off with one-half of the TNA World Tag Team Champions, Davey Richards, who comes out, while Ranallo informs the viewers Eddie Edwards suffered a torn ACL at the end of 2016 working a charity wrestling show and will be out 6-9 months. Richards is set to do battle by himself, defending his titles in the scheduled match against The Briscoes. The Briscoes def. Davey Richards(c) to win the TNA World Tag Team ChampionshipsIn this handicap match, Davey Richards gave it his all and showed great resilience, but it was the Jay-Driller followed by a Froggy Bow to lose.As The Briscoes celebrated their first titles that have eluded them since their arrival in TNA, they saw Davey Richards struggling to make it to his feet. The Briscoes called for their music to be cut and led the crowd in a standing ovation and applause for Davey Richards who went to war alone. The Briscoes embraced Davey Richards as a competitor and let him have the ring to himself, as he acknowledged the fans in tears.
Robbie E is granted an interview with Jeremy Borash and as he wraps the strap around his fist methodically, he calls Hennigan out on his stupidity for asking for this match later tonight.Tigre Uno def. DJ ZTigre Uno in good X-Division action finished with a Saber Splash to go over.John Hennigan was backstage with Jeremy Borash in preparation for his Strap Match coming up and makes the remark about beating Robbie so hard tonight, he'll be beat back into 2016. Hennigan also says he'll "lash out" on Robbie E tonight.
Mr. Anderson heads out and gets the mic to drop from the ceiling, recapping on his 2016 where he won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Anderson promises much of the same in 2017 until he's interrupted by unfamiliar music. We then see the words "STU" appear on the titantron. Stu comes out and without words, get the entire fanbase on their feet, as he stands toe-to-toe with Anderson. Anderson tries to get a response from Stu, and even sticks his microphone in his face, and when he doesn't generate a response, shoves Stu's face. Stu's smile slowly fades until he pushes Mr. Anderson to the ground. As Anderson looks up from the mat, Stu grabs the dangling mic and mentions he is Stu Alexander, and he's here to stay!Ciampa def. Shelton BenjaminThe face-painted avatar, Ciampa, locks in a Sicilian Stretch to force Benjamin to tap.Immediately after his match with Shelton Benjamin, out comes Agonia. Agonia gets in the ring and stares down at Ciampa, as two of the most intimidating faces in TNA cross paths.
Bobby Roode is interviewed by Jeremy Borash about two weeks ago, ending the TNA career of Austin Aries. Roode admits he and Aries were once best friends and too close that nobody could pull them apart, except it was Aries himself who separated Dirty Heels. Roode admits he's wanting to get back in the title picture and will be keeping a close eye on Mysterio versus Styles in the main event.John Hennigan def. Robbie E in a Strap MatchHennigan and Robbie made sure the match stayed true to its stipulation, and it was Hennigan choking the life out of Robbie, then hitting a Moonlight Drive to win.Taryn Terrell appears on screen and mentions her being out of action since September, where a replay was shown of her suffering a concussion in a match against Ivelisse. Terrell says she returns to action next week and is looking forward to resuming her career.Ivelisse def. JadeAfter the news of Terrell returning next week, Ivelisse defeated Taryn's ally Jade with Disdain.X-Division Champion Ricochet is talking with a few of his buddies and coworkers when Shawn Michaels steps up and the rest flee. Michaels told Ricochet the X-Division was taken to new heights in 2016 with the likes of Styles, Sabin, and Jericho bringing prestige back to the division and the championship. Michaels says he wishes Ricochet can lead the X-Division in 2017 to even higher places. This is when the TNA President informs his champion he's defending the championship next week against three other X-Division competitors.
The commentators Mauro Ranallo and James Storm advertise next week's card, which is shaping up nicely, between the X-Division Championship match and the return of Taryn Terrell. We then gear up for the main event, Rey Mysterio's opportunity at the world championship owned by AJ Styles.AJ Styles(c) def. Rey Mysterio to retain the TNA World Heavyweight ChampionshipStyles and Mysterio went to the brink, but it was Rey missing a 619, getting staggered with a Pele Kick, and being hit with a Styles Clash to lose his chance. The celebration for AJ Styles is how tonight's episode, the first Impact of 2017, goes off the air.

- Austin Aries, indeed, is leaving TNA. Aries signed through January 31, 2017 back when Donald Trump took over the company in August 2015. Aries remains on the payroll, but TNA made the decision with Aries to write him out before the new year, bring closure to his tenure in a match with Bobby Roode, and give him a month at home. - It was announced that Eddie Edwards tore his ACL and will be out of action 6-9 months. This is why the TNA Tag Team Championships changed hands on the first episode, when it was originally scheduled for the TNA Heartbreak later in the month. As Edwards sits on the sideline, Davey Richards is expected to have a singles run in the company. - The former WWE superstar made his debut appearance on the first episode of Impact as Stu Alexander. Alexander signed a contract with TNA, rumored, to go through February 2019. TNA is hoping to bring more United Kingdom wrestlers into the company, and Alexander is a great start. - TNA is rumored to be going through some serious changes over the coming months when it comes to the roster. TNA is trying to secure "big time" free agents to the company, and while Trump's bank account could aid this, they are trying to cut back on this roster. Expect some significant releases soon, but even more significant when it comes to signings to TNA, as Donald Trump tries to outbid Vince McMahon.

January 9 2017 Tonight's episode kicks off with Mr. Anderson in the ring. Mr. Anderson mentions Stu Alexander briefly, but says since he has nothing to say, he wants a 1-on-1 match with AJ Styles for the title. Bobby Roode then heads out to say he was costed becoming a 4-time world champion when Austin Aries ruined his title match, so he deserves a fair 1-on-1 match with Styles for the title. Then comes Ethan Carter III when he says they've both had their opportunity but it's time for EC3 to get his second world title. Out comes AJ Styles, who says while he's beaten all three of them at one point or another, he isn't opposed to beating one of them again at TNA Heartbreak. Then comes Brooke with Carlito, reminding AJ Styles that he hasn't faced Carlito. This brings Shawn Michaels out to make a match with all four men later tonight, with the winner reserving the right to face AJ Styles at TNA Heartbreak in two weeks. We then head into the commercial break, right before the first of Fatal-4 Way Matches, this for the X-Division Championship.Andrew Everett w/Tyrus def. Ricochet(c), Angelico, and Tigre Uno to win the TNA X-Division ChampionshipEverett hit a Double Rotation Moonsault on Tigre Uno as Tyrus kept Ricochet from breaking up the pin, giving Everett the victory.Everett saw Ricochet upset so he high-tailed it and got the X-Division Championship at the curtain as he and Tyrus worked together to pull off a huge upset.
After commercial, Taryn Terrell heads to the ring to a huge crowd reaction. Terrell has time on the mic to say she's excited about returning to the ring for the first time since last September. Terrell calls out the last person to defeat her, Ivelisse. Ivelisse couldn't believe her ears and was willing to give Taryn what she asked for, but only after a warning first.Ivelisse def. Taryn TerrellIn Terrell's return, she falls to Ivelisse and her move Disdain.Carlito and Brooke are interviewed by Jeremy Borash as to why they're targeting the world championship. Brooke said Drew Galloway is back home this week, and when she heard the rest of the guys talking about a world title match they've already had, she suggested someone who is championship material yet is one of the more underrated stars in TNA. Brooke affirms it will be Carlito going on to challenge AJ Styles in two weeks.Agonia def. MandrewsAgonia hit a devastating Spear for him to put Mandrews away.Right after Agonia's match, the face-painted warrior Ciampa marched down to the ring and stood toe-to-toe with Agonia, standing up to Agonia after last week. After an intense staredown, Agonia scoffed and moved past Ciampa and out of the ring, as there is mutual interest for these two to go at it.
Ricochet is losing it backstage after losing his X-Division Championship when Shawn Michaels comes over and tries to calm Ricochet down, but it's to no prevail. Ricochet shouts Tyrus cost him the X-Division Championship and he was supposed to face three men, not four. Michaels says he understands, but Ricochet says he doesn't. Ricochet demands Tyrus one-on-one next week, which Michaels gives in.The Briscoes def. Irish Borne in a non-title matchIt was the Froggy-Bow by Mark to Don Crist to secure the victory.Immediately after the match, Aiden O'Shea throws Jay Briscoe shoulder-first into the ringpost on the outside, the shoulder that was bothering Jay throughout the match. Mark saw this, but before he could do anything about it, was attacked from behind by Chris Sabin. Dirty Standards, now a duo, worked on the champions before Aiden O'Shea laid Mark Briscoe out with a Boomstick, followed by Sabin's Cradle Shock. Sabin and O'Shea grabbed the championships, making it clear what they were after.
Bobby Roode gets an interview with Jeremy Borash right now for his match later tonight. Roode says since Austin Aries is ridden from TNA, he can focus on regaining the world championship back, which is exactly what he'll do tonight. Roode warns AJ Styles that he can't beat him 1-on-1 and so the time on his reign is ticking away.Gail Kim def. Kimber LeeIn a respectful match, Gail ended Kimber Lee with Eat Defeat. After the match was over, Gail Kim requested a microphone. Gail recalled beating Jenny Thunnel last month at the end of 2016. Gail Kim notices there is no #1 contender for the Knockouts Championship in two weeks, so she's putting her name at the top of the list to challenge Thunnel for the championship. The crowd cheered, but those cheers got even louder as Awesome Kong came out and just her presence let everyone know she wanted a piece of Thunnel. Shawn Michaels then came to give an answer, that since both beat Jenny Thunnel last month, they can fight it out next week to see who goes on to TNA Heartbreak in two weeks for Jenny Thunnel's Knockouts Championship. The crowd adored the decision, getting to see one of the best knockout rivalries in TNA history next week!Ethan Carter III gets the interview with Jeremy Borash, reminding everyone of the instant classic with AJ Styles back at Bound for Glory. EC3 acknowledged falling short, but he knows how to take AJ Styles to his limits. EC3 vows to win tonight and go on to become a 2-time world champion!
After commercial, Mauro Ranallo and James Storm advertise the main event in moments to determine a #1 contender for the world championship. They remind everyone of what happened when four men competed against each other earlier and we crowned a new X-Division Champion, Andrew Everett. They confirm Ricochet is wrestling Tyrus next week, after his role in Everett's victory tonight. We then see the graphic for Gail Kim against Awesome Kong next week to determine Jenny Thunnel's next challenger. We then see Mr. Anderson come out abruptly, get on the microphone, and whine about being the only one not given an interview slot with JB earlier. Anderson announces himself as the #1 contender before the rest of the guys come out to determine the rightful #1 contender.
As the match is about to start, Shawn Michaels came and said due to Tyrus' outside interference earlier tonight, he won't risk having this match ruined by a manager, thus banning Brooke from ringside. This was a popular decision to everyone but Carlito and Brooke, as Brooke was forcefully removed from ringside before the bell sounded.Ethan Carter III def. Bobby Roode, Carlito, and Mr. AndersonEC3's One-Percenter to Carlito was the move that sealed Carter as the #1 contender, but it helped that Mr. Anderson was taken out moments later by Stu Alexander who ran interference. Ethan Carter III celebrated a big victory against three of the best TNA had to offer tonight and took the victory either way he could, as Stu Alexander stood at the top of the stage looking back at Mr. Anderson, still down at ringside after Stu's attack. This is how we end a chaotic episode of Impact Wrestling!

January 16 2017 Ethan Carter III came out to hype next week's world title match and a Bound for Glory rematch against AJ Styles, when Styles comes out to exchange words back. They are respectful, but they get the crowd oh'ing with shots fired. They go straight into boos when Brooke Enterprise come to interrupt. When Brooke suggests Carlito should be wrestling for the world title next week, Carter reminds them Carlito was the one he pinned, when Galloway steals the mic from Brooke and intensely says he didn't pin Drew Galloway! This brought Shawn Michaels out and says he looks forward to next week with EC3 vs AJ Styles, but he needs a main event tonight, so Brooke Enterprise can wrestle two of the top guys in TNA right now, Ethan and AJ. The two looked at each other, having to team up 7 nights before their big title match.Ricochet def. Tyrus w/Andrew Everett via DisqualificationRicochet took a physical beating from Tyrus, but before he could win the match, Everett got in the ring and pounced on Ricochet.Andrew Everett took Ricochet out with a shot with the belt as he stands over the former champion, as Tyrus makes it back to his feet to hit a running splash, squashing Ricochet's internal organs before next week.
The Briscoes had time with JB and made it clear that if Dirty Standards wanted their attention, they got it! And if they want a world tag team title match, they have it too!The Beautiful People def. Hiroyo and JadeVelvet Sky sacrificed her own body with Hiroyo for Madison Rayne to hit Jade with a Rayne Drop in knockouts tag action. After a commercial break, Mr. Anderson was in the ring, spotlight on him, mic hanging from the ceiling, as Anderson set the record straight with Stu Alexander. This is when Anderson dares Alexander to come to TNA Heartbreak next week and step in the ring with him. This is when Dasher Hatfield interrupts Anderson, making a joke of the entire situation before their match.Mr. Anderson def, Dasher HatfieldAnderson took out his frustrations on Hatfield before a Mic Check, and to send a message to Stu, finished the match after one more.Shawn Michaels is standing in front of the camera when it zooms out for Agonia and Ciampa intensely staring each other down, as Michaels makes the announcement they'll go one-on-one for the first time next week at TNA Heartbreak. It's as if Michaels wasn't there, as the two are ready to butt heads.Gail Kim def. Awesome KongKim used Eat Defeat, not once but twice, to get a title match against Thunnel next week.Chris Sabin and Aiden O'Shea are standing by with JB when they accept Jay and Mark's challenge to have a title match next week, but this is when The Briscoes attack Dirty Standards to return the favor after last week.
X-Division Champion Andrew Everett and Tyrus are hanging out when Shawn Michaels comes up and informs Everett that Tyrus is banned from ringside after their recent antics. Everett will have to face Ricochet on his own next week at TNA Heartbreak.
Mauro Ranallo and James Storm hype up next week's show with video packages, as they also announce a Feast or Fired Match! A big hype is that this is the first TNA Heartbreak promised to be all-action, Total Nonstop Action. We then gear up for the main event now.AJ Styles and Ethan Carter III def. Brooke EnterpriseEC3 saved Styles from a Claymore Kick for AJ to hit Carlito with a Styles Clash to win a near-25 minute match. After an incredible main event, EC3 and Styles shook hands before next week's match and then EC3 turns around and hits the One-Percenter on the world champion. Ethan then grabs a steel chair to injure the leg of AJ Styles, hoping to immobilize the champion for next week. This is how Impact goes off the air tonight.

500th post on this section: January 23 2017 Tonight's TNA Heartbreak starts with a rundown of tonight's card before the first match begins in a Heartbreak advertised as Total Nonstop Action! It happens to be Stu Alexander's debut!
Stu Alexander def. Mr. Anderson In his debut at TNA, Stu hit a Bull Hammer Elbow on Anderson to shut TNA's Loudmouth up in his anticipated first match.
Mauro Ranallo and James Storm then show a few weeks back where Andrew Everett captured the X-Division Championship to introduce Ricochet's rematch next.
Ricochet def. Andrew Everett(c) to win the X-Division Championship On an even playing field, Ricochet wins the belt back with a 720 Splash.
There's a video package of years past in the Feast or Fired Match, as well as last year's, while they set up for the upcoming match.
Feast or Fired Match feat. Angelico, Bael, Carlito, Cortez Castro, Dasher Hatfield, Davey Richards, Don Crist, Drew Galloway, Jacob Crist, John Hennigan, Johnny Gargano, Mandrews, Paul London, Robbie E, Shelton Benjamin, Tigre Uno
Case 1: Dasher Hatfield Case 2: John Hennigan Case 3: Carlito Case 4: Drew Galloway
Cases contain a World Title opportunity, an X-Division title match, a World Tag Team title match, and a Pink Slip.
As Ranallo and Storm make it clear the briefcases will be revealed next week, the ring clears for the TNA World Tag Team Championships match up next.
The Briscoes(c) def. Dirty Standards to retain the TNA World Tag Team Championships Jay Driller followed by the Froggy Bow on Sabin, and this teamwork by the brothers kept their titles in possession.
After that match, Ranallo and Storm recap the night so far before going into an intense matchup, for the first time ever, Agonia versus Ciampa next!
Agonia def. Ciampa Agonia has been impressive since his debut in November and was even more so, sawing Ciampa in two with his Spear.
As Agonia emerges victorious, the video package is played for the upcoming TNA Knockouts Championship contest.
Jenny Thunnel(c) def. Gail Kim to retain the TNA Knockouts Championship Thunnel was able to survive as champion with catching Gail in a Kimura Lock, one Kim would pass out of rather than tap.
After the match, TNA President Shawn Michaels comes to join Ranallo and Storm at the commentary table as he commends the ladies on their great match. When asked what brings him out, Michaels replies he wants to see Styles versus EC3. This goes into a video package that includes the Bound for Glory match between the two as the main event is up next!
AJ Styles(c) vs. Ethan Carter III ends in a no contest for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship As EC3 just reversed the Styles Clash with a TK3, Styles kicked out. Going for the One-Percenter, here emerges Patriot 2000 and he lays both men out.
As Patriot 2000 continues to assault both men, Shawn Michaels throws his headset down and comes to the ring when he's blasted by Patriot 2000 and is locked in the Patriotic Lock until security forces him to break it, only after snapping it. He leaves to boos after ruining a match everyone was looking forward to. That is how tonight's TNA Heartbreak comes to a shocking end.

JB annnounced a suitable, temporary replacement has been named until Shawn's full recovery. Ken Shamrock stepped in the TNA ring for the first time since 2004 and thanked Borash before greeting the TNA fans. Shamrock wished Michaels a speedy recovery before he mentions the world title situation. Before another word, Patriot 2000 heads out there and demands the next words out of his mouth is naming him the #1 contender. Shamrock continues mentioning next week, Ethan Carter III will receive his fair opportunity against AJ Styles in the main event. Before Patriot 2000 can say another word, Shamrock grabs the mic from Patriot, tosses it behind him, and gets in Patriot 2000's face. Shamrock says he saw what Patriot 2000 did to Kurt Angle, and then to Shawn Michaels, but says the one who has the most dangerous ankle lock in the biz is yours truly and he's not afraid to break a punk's ankles. This gets the crowd intrigued, but Patriot 2000 angrily backs out of the ring for a commercial break.Stu Alexander def. Cortez CastroWith Mr. Anderson watching intently with Storm and Ranallo, watching Stu finish off Cortez Castro with a Bull Hammer Elbow. As Anderson stands up from the commentary table, Storm and Ranallo remind people of the Feast or Fired briefcase reveal later tonight, as well as two highly respected veterans in the business completing later on, Shelton Benjamin and Rey Mysterio. After commercial, Bobby Roode comes out to the ring and says with Ken Shamrock in for Shawn Michaels, he wants to reaffirm he wants to remain in the world title picture. Roode says whoever wins the match next week between AJ Styles and Ethan Carter III, he is putting his name in the hat to be the next man up. Angelico came out and said that he's the most talented yet overlooked talent on the roster, never getting in the title picture. Angelico said he could be on the top anywhere, but here he's disrespected. Angelico made it clear Roode's prime has passed him and Angelico is apart of TNA's blueprint of the future. Roode warned Angelico to step back in his spot, which is at the bottom of the ladder, before brushing past him.
Chris Sabin, backstage, is with Aiden O'Shea and Sabin has a neckbrace on after last week. Jeremy Borash asks the deal, and O'Shea speaks for Sabin saying Sabin is dealing with the bumps and bruises from last week but will be back better than ever before. Shelton BenjaminThis match showed their familiarity with each other and why they're a vital part of TNA, in which Mysterio barely landed on top with a 619.Before the commercial break, the Feast or Fired briefcase holders are shuffling in for the reveal up next.
After the break, Brooke is interviewed with Galloway and Carlito about her clients' chances of getting solid briefcases. She says one will be getting the tag team title briefcase, and whoever gets the world title briefcase, the other will support the next world champion. We then have Ken Shamrock saying we need to get down to business. Shamrock asks who wishes to go first, and John Hennigan is the first one up. Hennigan opens his briefcase to a drumroll and it reveals an X-Division Championship match in his future. Hennigan's disappointed of not winning the world title, but he's about to win his first X-Division title and add to the title's history. Up next, Drew Galloway is opting to go next. Galloway guarantees the world title opportunity is in here, and Hennigan walks out before it can reveal Galloway's truth. Drew Galloway has a world title match in his future, and Carlito and Brooke both celebrate with him. But now reality sets in... The tag team title opportunity and the pink slip are still in the balance, and the briefcases of Carlito and Dasher Hatfield have yet to be open. Brooke is beginning to label herself as a wrestling prophet with this, saying Galloway will be the next world champion and her boys will finally hold the tag team titles. Now it's all up to his, as Dasher Hatfield's only words are he loves TNA and doesn't want to go home. But now it's time... Carlito opens up his briefcase and groans come from everyone in the room, but Dasher Hatfield was too afraid to open his eyes. Dasher then hears cries from Brooke and opens his eyes, looking at Carlito's briefcase, and then opens his own. Dasher Hatfield has a tag team title opportunity, while Carlito is packing his bags. Thunnel mentions it will take only 67 more days to tie Taryn Terrell's reign as the longest reigning champion in TNA history. Thunnel says it'll be a piece of cake compared to the rest of the roster, when the record holder herself comes to the ring. Terrell invites Thunnel to take a seat at commentary and watch her match next, because she will show Thunnel how a real champion wrestles. Jenny takes offence to this and decides to watch Taryn's match now.Taryn Terrell def. JadeThe former Dollhouse knockouts compete and Thunnel is successful after her Taryn Cutter, making sure to point at Jenny Thunnel's title. After an eventful show tonight, James Storm and Mauro Ranallo remind fans that free agent knockouts matches begin next week as part of February. They remind fans that the likes of Hiroyo, Ivelisse, Kimber Lee, and Knockouts Champion Jenny Thunnel got their opportunities last year and remain vital parts of the division. Over the next three weeks, free agents will be competing for a contract and once they win, they'll have an opportunity to win contention for the Knockouts Championship. Storm and Ranallo also remind fans of next week's TNA World Heavyweight Championship match between contender Ethan Carter III and champion AJ Styles.
Carlito is packing up his bags and says his goodbyes to Galloway and Brooke, as Carlito tries to show it doesn't bother him. This is a heartbreaking moment for Carlito, while Galloway isn't even focused on his world title briefcase at the moment.Angelico def. Bobby RoodeA major upset in the main event tonight, but it took two Fall of the Angels and one finishing Superman Senton to overcome a 3-time world champion.Angelico celebrated a phenomenal victory over Bobby Roode, and as he turned around, Roode was slow to get to his feet before he applauded Angelico and raised his hand to the crowd, but Angelico returned it with a pele kick, before trash talking AJ Styles. Angelico places Roode back up for a third Fall of the Angels, and then referees rush out, including a couple doctors to check on the health of Bobby Roode. Angelico obliges and leaves Roode to the medical attention as Impact goes off the air.
