March 27 2017 Tonight's Impact began with tag team action, featuring four teams, and Mauro Ranallo announced this would be to determine the #1 contenders for the TNA World Tag Team Championships, with the winners advancing to Lockdown and facing The Briscoes. Two Cool Bucks def. Angelico & O'Shea, Gallows & Jacobs, and Honma & Makabe in Four-Corner Tag Team ActionAfter Angelico hit Fall of the Angels on Honma, Gallows pulled Angelico from the cover and those two teams got into a brawl while the Bucks hit a Meltzer Driver on Makabe to win.Mauro Ranallo and James Storm informs the audience that later tonight is Ivelisse versus Madison Rayne to determine another #1 contender for Lockdown, a Mic Battle between Mr. Anderson and Stu Alexander, as well as the main event featuring TNA World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles squaring off with Drew Galloway in the show's main event.Andrew Everett came to the ring and was very upset over being overlooked in terms of the X-Division Championship match. The person to respond to his complaints is John Hennigan, in which Everett challenges him to a match since he made his way to the ring.John Hennigan def. Andrew EverettHennigan hit the Moonlight Drive to shut Everett up.As Everett laid on the mat, out came Tyrus and as Everett made it back to his feet, Tyrus knocked him back down and ended things with a Splat!Backstage, tensions are heating up with Angelico and Aiden O'Shea, as well as Doc Gallows and Karl Jacobs, and emotions implode in the back that requires several talent stepping in and trying to separate the four.Chasity def. Kimber LeeChasity takes out Kimber Lee with the Chasity Case and picks up a solid win tonight. After a commercial, Mr. Anderson is in the ring with the spotlight on him and the microphone from the ceiling. Anderson mentions he's having a Mic Battle with Stu Alexander and asks if they can lower the second microphone. They do, and Anderson invites Stu to come down into his own little spotlight in the ring with his lowered microphone. Stu begins with asking what is going on, and Anderson took the question his own way, by explaining how Stu came to TNA and has made a point to drive him out, which is totally not fair and is plain disrespectful to him. Stu was about to speak, until Anderson just went into berating Stu, hurling insult after insult. When Anderson seemed to be done, Stu spoke and could only get one line out until Anderson's back on the mic and continues on. Stu then raises his voice to stop Anderson in his tracks and says if Anderson wants anything settled, they'll do it in the ring and the results will be the same. Anderson then asked for next week, one-on-one, in a Coffin Match. Anderson says he will bury Stu Alexander's career before it ever gets started, and Stu laughs and accepts the match for next week's show.Mauro Ranallo and James Storm had conducted a call with Donald Trump and Trump mentioned that Lockdown will be "April's biggest event in pro wrestling" and is looking forward to seeing the card play out. When asked about the potential of Kenny Omega winning, Trump said he wants a great main event, but he'll personally root for AJ Styles, because he is TNA. When asked about Kenny Omega's status with TNA, along with Jacobs and Gallows, Trump says that Kenny Omega is signed to compete for TNA through Lockdown, but wouldn't get in any more detail.Johnny Gargano def. Rockstar SpudSpud couldn't last the Crosston Crab and tapped out.The Briscoes were interviewed by Jeremy Borash and asked about the Two Cool Bucks challenging for the titles a week from Sunday. The Briscoes both agreed that the Bucks were one of the top wrestling tag teams in the world and since coming to TNA, they've held the belts on three different occasions. The Briscoes then admitted they kept winning it back because they weren't facing the Briscoes. Both are confident they'll continue their reign they began at New Year's and will beat Matt and Nick Jackson at Lockdown.Madison Rayne w/Velvet Sky def. IvelisseWhile the Knockouts Champion had joined Ranallo and Storm at commentary, she got up to make sure Ivelisse's 3-count was interrupted, pulling the official out of the ring and this allowed Velvet to come in and throw Ivelisse shoulder-first into the ringpost, as Madison hit Rayne Drop and won.As Ranallo and Storm recap how tonight has had major implications on Lockdown, they reaffirm the matches already announced, including two matches made by Ken Shamrock. It's Andrew Everett facing Tyrus in a Steel Cage, as well as the team of Karl Jacobs and Doc Gallows versus Angelico and Aiden O'Shea. They then speak of next week, when Mr. Anderson and Stu Alexander square off in a Coffin Match, just as Rey Mysterio and Shelton Benjamin will go one-on-one.Drew Galloway and Brooke come out and they express frustration with Ken Shamrock's decision to have him defend his world title briefcase at Lockdown a week from Sunday. Brooke just says tonight will have to be a preview of when Galloway retains his briefcase, he'll challenge AJ Styles, Kenny Omega, or whoever, and become the world champion!AJ Styles def. Drew Galloway w/Brooke in a non-title matchAJ Styles used a Phenomenal Forearm Smash and then a Styles Clash to put Galloway down in the main event. As AJ Styles was celebrating, out came Kenny Omega, Karl Jacobs, and Doc Gallows as they stalk AJ Styles in the ring, but what wasn't seen, was Matt and Nick Jackson was able to slide in on the uncovered side and stand tall with the champion. The three squared off, perhaps ready for battle, when Ken Shamrock headed out. Shamrock announced they're in need of a main event next week leading up to April's biggest event in pro wrestling, Lockdown. Shamrock announced a Lethal Lockdown match between the two teams next week. The two teams just locked eyes and didn't move a muscle after this announcement was made, deciding to hold off until next week's Impact.

April 3 2017 Just six days before Lockdown, it's a big show ahead, and the show begins with Ken Shamrock in the ring with a contract in his hand. Shamrock mentioned he's going to conduct the signing between Kenny Omega and AJ Styles. Shamrock said their respective teams are meeting later tonight in Lethal Lockdown, but they'll be going 1-on-1 this Sunday for the most prized possession in the industry. Shamrock preludes this signing by making it clear if there is any contact between Omega and Styles before tonight's Lethal Lockdown, the main event at Lockdown will be cancelled. AJ Styles was the first to show up and signed the contract immediately, then getting on the microphone and saying he is a TNA original, that he built this company and he decided to come back to build it back up to its peak, then to grow on that. Styles says Kenny Omega nor anyone else will come to TNA and try to tear it down. AJ says Omega is looking to seek and destroy here in TNA, but that won't be the case and promises to walk out champion this Sunday. Kenny Omega heads down and before signing the contract, he engages AJ's comments. Omega says he is taking captive the world title from TNA and there's nothing he could do about it, and then signs the dotted line, making things official as the first commercial break arises after Ranallo and Storm hype tonight's card. Before the next match, Ranallo and Storm announce a 6-man Xscape Match this Sunday, which includes these two men.Rey Mysterio def. Shelton BenjaminMysterio and Benjamin had an epic battle, but it ended with Mysterio's 619 and a frog splash to top Benjamin.Backstage, John Hennigan is standing by with Jeremy Borash who asks about cashing his X-Division briefcase in at Lockdown this Sunday. Hennigan says Ricochet is at the top of his game and he's already held the title 3 times since arriving here. Hennigan mentions he's never won a singles championship in TNA so he wishes it to change. The Briscoes def. Angelico and Aiden O'Shea w/Chris Sabin in a non-title matchAs Sabin watched on, he saw Aiden O'Shea eat a Jay Driller and lose.As Sabin fretted for this Sunday, the Briscoes had gained momentum headed into their title match against Two Cool Bucks. We then see the setup for the Coffin Match next between Mr. Anderson and Stu Alexander.Stu Alexander def. Mr. Anderson in a Coffin MatchAs Anderson was about to Mic Check Stu in the Coffin, Stu fought out of it and got on the apron with Anderson and hit a Bull Hammer Elbow to knock Anderson in and shuts the lid.As Stu celebrated shutting the Loudmouth, backstage is Knockouts Champion Jenny Thunnel standing by Ken Shamrock, who informs her the match at Lockdown won't just be a singles match now, but he's adding two more people to it. Thunnel was beyond irate before she found out in addition to Madison Rayne, he's adding Velvet Sky and Ivelisse in the match! Thunnel asked why, and Shamrock reminded her of her involvement in last week's match.Dasher Hatfield and Tyrus def. Andrew Everett and Drew Galloway w/BrookeAfter Galloway had exposed the concrete floor and hit the Future Shock DDT on Hatfield, his mission was accomplished and left Everett to a Splat by Tyrus and Tyrus was able to win. After a commercial, Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne walked out together and made things clear one of them will walk out Knockouts Champion this Sunday at Lockdown, so lets all the middle-aged balding men know they can buy the PPV and watch history this Sunday. This is before Hiroyo headed out to compete now.Velvet Sky w/Madison Rayne def. HiroyoRayne had to trip Hiroyo for Sky to come and hit In Yo Face to win.Mauro Ranallo pointed out Madison will be less likely inclined to help Velvet Sky win this Sunday when it's everyone for themselves. We get a rundown of the card this Sunday at Lockdown, one that is billed as "April's biggest event in pro wrestling" and fans are assured to see something they haven't seen yet this April. The big headliner is Kenny Omega will attempt to capture the TNA World Heavyweight Championship when he wrestles AJ Styles. With that said, they lay down the Lethal Lockdown rules for the main event up next. Mauro Ranallo then breaks the rules that AJ Styles and the Bucks have won the coin toss and get the numbers advantageAJ Styles and Two Cool Bucks vs. Kenny Omega, Karl Jacobs, and Doc GallowsBeginning the match are Nick Jackson and Karl Jacobs. They battle it out for a few minutes and sees Matt Jackson head out and the double-team is real as Two Cool Bucks are laying it in on Karl Jacobs. Up next to enter is Doc Gallows and while he provided power, it was neutralized by the momentum the Bucks had gained. Then, here comes AJ Styles! The three were gelling well together and had taken care of both Jacobs and Gallows... and then Kenny Omega's music hit. Omega comes and sees all staring him down, and Kenny Omega decides he won't get in and starts to walk off with Jeff Jarrett and Rey Mysterio are there with Ken Shamrock in the middle, making it known he won't be fleeing this time. We then see AJ Styles climb the cage and when Omega turns around towards the ring, we see AJ Styles leap and hit a crossbody to the floor!! The crowd couldn't believe it! In the ring, Gallows and Jacobs had regrouped and were attacking the Bucks.
This match drew to a close as AJ Styles got back in the cage and was going at it, but yet people saw he took a bad landing on that crossbody off the top of the cage, as he's fighting off Gallows and Jacobs. Styles then went for a Styles Clash on Gallows, yet Omega came into the ring and hit a chop block at AJ's knee. Gallows and Jacobs then took care of the Bucks, making sure they wouldn't interfere, as Kenny Omega hit a One-Winged Angel on AJ Styles and pins the world champion! After gaining huge momentum for this Sunday, Kenny Omega and his boys escaped the cage and left Styles in the ring getting medical attention in the ring to check on the welfare of AJ Styles as the final Impact before Lockdown goes off the air.

April 9 2017 Mauro Ranallo and James Storm run through tonight's card, including Kenny Omega's shot to upset the entire TNA landscape by winning the world title from AJ Styles tonight. But they begin with a new tag team that has arrived on the scene with Omega, that being Doc Gallows and Karl Jacobs in action first, as the steel cage is already permanently around the ring now. Doc Gallows & Karl Jacobs def. Aiden O'Shea & Angelico in a Steel Cage MatchA solid opening contest ended in a Magic Killer on Angelico, as Angelico's face hit the side of the cage and Jacobs pounced for the pin.As Gallows and Jacobs exited, Mauro Ranallo brought up the next match being an unique one... the Xscape Match. Ranallo went by the rules, saying there are six men in the cage with a roof closed on top of them. The winner must exit the circular opening of the roof and that man will go on to receive an X-Division Championship match in the near future. Davey Richards def. Johnny Gargano, Rey Mysterio, Rockstar Spud, Shelton Benjamin and Tigre Uno in an Xscape MatchTigre Uno passed up on a clear opportunity by jumping off the roof and falling onto all the competitors, except for Richards, as Davey had avoided the aerial assault, climbed the cage, and escaped.Drew Galloway and Brooke are in the back with Jeremy Borash, who asks about Galloway's chances in his upcoming match versus Dasher Hatfield in a briefcase-for-briefcase opportunity. Brooke said Galloway wouldn't be in this mess had Hatfield not stolen the briefcase that should've been Carlito's. Brooke said that Galloway will defend his honor tonight in a win and claim the tag team briefcase as well. When asked who Galloway would select as his partner, due to Carlito being fired, Brooke shakes her head and said she's already started the process of searching the globe for someone to Galloway's caliber. A video package plays prior to the next match of Andrew Everett coming to TNA and bringing Tyrus on as his muscle. Yet, since the two split, they wrestle tonight for the first time ever and Storm doesn't fail to mention that Everett has nowhere to run tonight. Andrew Everett def. Tyrus in a Steel Cage MatchAndrew Everett was into the steel cage by Tyrus, and as Everett hobbled over to the corner, Tyrus charged at Everett, ending up pushing the cage door open and Everett fell to the floor. As Everett's music hit, he hardly realized what was going on but raised his fist. Tyrus was so frustrated he got out and picked Everett up for a running bodyslam onto the floor. Tyrus then left Everett in pieces, feeling as if he accomplished something tonight, despite a loss. The next video package takes place and shows the Feast or Fired Match that led to Carlito being fired, Drew Galloway winning the world title briefcase, and Dasher Hatfield the tag team. With Ken Shamrock's disapproval, Hatfield had to prove himself and in order to prevent him losing the briefcase, he picked up his very first pinfall in TNA over Galloway. Now, Galloway must put his briefcase on the line as well to prove he's worthy in this winner-take-all concept. Dasher Hatfield def. Drew Galloway w/Brooke in a Briefcase-for-Briefcase Steel Cage MatchHatfield was resilient kicking out of a Future Shock DDT and a Claymore Kick. Dasher tried climbing out of the cage, but Galloway grabbed his leg, but Hatfield kicked him off and landed a moonsault from the wall and hooked Galloway's leg for a quick 3.After just winning, Dasher Hatfield didn't get out of dodge in time for Drew Galloway's attack. Galloway brutalized Hatfield and threw Hatfield into three different sides of the cage before picking his motionless body back up for the Future Shock DDT. Galloway finally exited the cage and let Dasher Hatfield be, but he was not happy after just losing his briefcase tonight at Lockdown. Meanwhile, Dasher Hatfield has both a tag team and world title shots in his future. While they got Dasher Hatfield out of the cage and to the back, they showed a preview of the match to come, the first of four championship matches for the TNA World Tag Team Championships... Once the champions made their way to the ring, after Two Cool Bucks already did, they introduced some steel chairs. But before the official closed the door, the Jackson brothers exited and brought out a table and slid it in that got a huge pop from the crowd. Two Cool Bucks def. The Briscoes(c) to win the TNA World Tag Team Championships in a Steel Cage MatchIt was a physical match with the weapons introduced and the two teams didn't hold back. It had a spot of Jay Briscoe jumping from the corner, putting Matt through a table with the Jay-Driller. Yet, it was the Meltzer Driver on Jay that finished it off.Ranallo and Storm recap a hardcore match that took place inside the steel and mentioned this is the beginning of the fourth reign as champions for Matt and Nick Jackson. They then get to switch to the X-Division Championship match where John Hennigan has the opportunity to win his first singles championship in TNA tonight against Ricochet. Ricochet(c) def. John Hennigan to retain the X-Division Championship in a Steel Cage MatchRicochet's shooting star press from the top of the cage didn't do it, but later it was Hennigan missing Starship Pain that allowed Ricochet to land a 630 Senton and retain.Ranallo and Storm were applauding the efforts for Ricochet and Hennigan, with Storm mentioning that will be a tough match to top. Ranallo gave credit to the two title matches thus far when he mentioned there were two more still to come. But before this, we see the interim General Manager Ken Shamrock come out to greet the fans. Shamrock admitted he's not a man of many words, but was told to thank the crowd for attending tonight's Lockdown event. Shamrock exclaimed it was the biggest pro wrestling event in April, and the next breath he's attacked by Patriot 2000 from behind. Patriot 2000 then rushes Shamrock down and slams his head into the cage. Patriot quickly rolls him into the cage as Patriot 2000 gets in behind him and he's pulling the cage away from referees that are trying to keep the door unlocked. However, Patriot 2000 is able to lock the cage door, he and Shamrock inside. Patriot 2000 tackled Shamrock, throwing fists at him, before he stepped on Shamrock's ankle. When Shamrock had nowhere else to go, Patriot locked in his Patriotic Lock. Patriot 2000 was relentless and Jeff Jarrett had come down trying to help Shamrock, but there was no way in. Jarrett then climbed the cage to get inside, but by the time he was up there, Patriot 2000 decided to snap Shamrock's ankle, unlock the door, and get out of dodge. Jarrett got in the cage and checked on Shamrock's condition, asking for medical attention. The cage ended up having to be lifted as time was taken out of the show to get Shamrock a stretcher. Once they got the interim GM out, they lowered the cage back down for tonight's final two matches. We roll into a video package for the TNA Knockouts Championship match, as Mauro Ranallo sends his prayers to Shamrock. Jenny Thunnel(c) def. Ivelisse, Madison Rayne and Velvet Sky to retain the TNA Knockouts Championship in a Steel Cage MatchAfter Madison Rayne was already taken out, Ivelisse and Velvet Sky were busy battling it out as Thunnel got to slip out the cage door as she convinced the official to unlock it and get out of dodge. The bell rang and this left Ivelisse and Sky confused until they saw Thunnel outside the ring.Jenny Thunnel left clutching her championship to her chest as she was going on to become the longest reigning Knockouts Champion in company history. We then get a video package of the main event up next, the much anticipated first-time ever match between Kenny Omega and champion AJ Styles. AJ Styles(c) vs. Kenny Omega for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship in a Steel Cage MatchIn Kenny Omega's first singles match, and first Pay-Per-View, he went toe-to-toe with Styles and this match didn't disappoint. It began with AJ Styles hammering away at Kenny Omega and it looked like Omega's antics with his buddies had came back to bite him tonight, as it riled AJ up. However, it was a costly mistake for AJ Styles to try and escape the cage early, and this is when Omega pulled AJ's leg out from under him and hit a big superkick that turned the momentum. Omega then was laying into Styles and as he tried to wear the champion down, he went up to the top, when AJ Styles stopped Omega from escaping and they ended up going down to the mat with AJ's Russian Legsweep. This back and forth continued throughout the match and that's what it was made up of.
Towards the end, AJ Styles and Kenny Omega were battling on the top rope and Styles knocked Omega off. Instead of going and climbing up the cage, he went to the corner and hit a Spiral Tap. When going for the cover, he only got two. Styles then rolled to the ropes and he stood up between the cage and the ropes, as he adjusted the elbow pad for a Phenomenal Forearm. Waiting on his opponent to get up to his feet, Omega did and got up, but instead of turning around, he just backed up and rammed Styles in between the cage. Omega then hit several forearm smashes, as AJ's head continually backed into the cage. Kenny Omega then went to the opposite side and nearly got out, but Styles grabbed Omega's leg and made the adjustment to hit a powerbomb as Omega fell! Styles dropped for a cover from the feet of Omega, but only got a two-count.
AJ Styles caught his breath and set up for a Styles Clash, but Omega avoided it and hit a Dragon Rush Suplex. Omega then began to scale the cage slowly, and Styles caught up to him. Omega kicked Styles off of him and Omega dove for Styles, in which Styles kicked Omega in the gut and hit a Styles Clash! AJ Styles went for the cover, but Omega kicked out at two. Not knowing what else to do, Styles made his way to the cage to climb up, but as he tried to pull himself up, there was Omega holding onto AJ's foot for dear life, as AJ Styles kicked Omega away. AJ Styles climbed back down and he looked at Kenny Omega, who was almost helpless, but it was possum! Omega struck with Hadouken and then got AJ Styles up for the One-Winged Angel! Omega went for the cover, but AJ Styles got his shoulder up! Omega couldn't believe it, and nobody else in attendance.
Kenny Omega shook his head after he was done being stunned of not getting the title with his best move. Omega then picked AJ Styles up and trapped Styles in the ropes as he went to the other side of the ring. But as Omega climbed up, the ropes released Styles from its grasp. As Omega got to the top of the cage, AJ Styles was behind and Omega waited until Styles got to his reach and began to hammer away, when AJ then fought that off by slamming Kenny's inside knee to the steel. This allowed AJ Styles time to propel himself up to a seated position on top of the cage. The two traded blows and after this, Omega blocked one and hammered Styles with his own, that reeled Styles. Omega then looked at the bottom where the commentary table was below. Omega then took Styles by the neck and tights and tossed him... outside the cage! Styles crashed through the table right with Ranallo and Storm, accidentally kicking Storm in the face, but this got AJ out of the cage! Styles is out!The crowd is stunned after such a surprising way to end the main event as Kenny Omega essentially gave up the world title to destroy AJ Styles. Omega then swung over and let himself down easy to the floor next to AJ Styles, incapacitated from the fall through the table. Kenny Omega just glazed at the champion who wasn't moving at all as medical personnel rushed to AJ's side as Kenny Omega dropped back and laughed menacingly as Lockdown comes to a strange end tonight.
