"Adulting" follows a platonic relationship between a young man and a young woman straight out of the university. After becoming friends in the community college system, they went their separate ways and now come back together to navigate the early adult years. |

Hanna Bullis
Hanna is a young woman who just graduated from UNC Chapel Hill and more importantly than majoring in accounting, she is leaving the sorority life where she exerted most of her efforts. Most would objectively say Hanna was one of the better looking women you'll come across and she doesn't stay on the market for long. Hanna grew up with not the richest of riches, but she had all she ever needed and anything she ever wanted was typically answered with a "yes" from her father. |

Michael Smith
Michael, at times called "Mikey," is graduating from Western Carolina University. Michael throughout his life has been told he's natural selection's last selection. At subpar six-foot and not the most physically fit, he isn't your ideal man and has to fight back those stereotypes mentally. To do this, Michael has to make more of an effort to make an impression. |
