Monday Night Raw | May 27, 2002
Raw begins the night with displaying the King of the Ring tournament brackets. It shows: Big Show versus The Rock Bradshaw versus Tommy Dreamer Chris Jericho versus Edge Christian versus Mr. Perfect
We then know the first two matches will take place tonight, beginning with Bradshaw taking on Tommy Dreamer.
Bradshaw (with Faarooq) def. Tommy Dreamer in the King of the Ring Tournament First Round Dreamer suffered a bloody nose, appearing to be broken, and a few minutes later Clothesline from Hell advanced him.
While Faarooq celebrated with Bradshaw over his win tonight, Tommy Dreamer was tended to by medical personnel as replays were shown to the crowd of what happened to Dreamer when Bradshaw cold-cocked his opponent. This is when a commercial break is taken, and by the end of it, the ring is clear and Jim Ross vows to keep the fans updated.
To the ring comes D-Generation X in the gear they debuted last week. Michaels and Triple H discuss their return together, with Shawn Michaels pinning Kurt Angle. They then vouch for Michaels to receive a World Heavyweight Championship match at the King of the Ring PPV. Kurt Angle comes to dispute any of this, explaining he will not defend against Michaels one-on-one at King of the Ring. Ric Flair then responded by coming out and agreeing with Angle, but only about one-on-one. Flair made a deal with Angle, to solidify tonight's main event. Flair booked Kurt Angle versus Triple H. Flair said if Angle wins, he won't have to defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Shawn Michaels. Angle laughs, but that was before Flair explained that if Triple H wins, Angle will have to defend his title at King of the Ring against Shawn Michaels AND Triple H! The crowd went nuts as Michaels and Triple H looked at each other, in agreement, as Angle is upset and warns Triple H about tonight.
Backstage, a new interviewer makes her debut, a blonde 21-year-old named Christy Hemme. Hemme welcomes her guest, Intercontinental Champion Rob Van Dam. Hemme asks if the distraction at ringside last week contributed to his victory and regaining the title. RVD says she does her homework, but lets her know that Goldust is a competitor, but sometimes people can lose sight of what matters. Van Dam said the difference was he never did lose sight, and he won't, keeping this title. RVD said if Goldust ever wants to look back at the prize, he's more than happy to give him a rematch down the road.
Chris Jericho and Christian def. Edge and Mr. Perfect in a tag team match Rather than wrestling in their opening round matches, they competed in a tag team match, in which Jericho forced Edge to tap out to the Walls of Jericho. If this happens next week, Jericho will be advancing.
Sabu exits the trainers room and The Coach is standing outside, wanting an update on Tommy Dreamer. Sabu revealed, in brief words, he had broken his nose. The Coach asked how this would impact Sabu's title opportunity at Raven tonight, and Sabu says he will win the title in Tommy Dreamer's honor.
Goldust is backstage with Trish Stratus and asks her to accompany him to the ring next week for his match against Rikishi. Trish says yes, and she apologizes for letting Terri get to her last week. Stratus said it is clear that Terri is trying to ruin Goldust's life, and it's evident by her costing him the Intercontinental Championship. Goldust says Terri is in his past, and he will get the title back as long as he has Trish by his side.
Raven© (with Big Boss Man and Justin Credible) def. Sabu in a Hardcore Match for the Hardcore Championship Sabu was fighting his heart out and almost came away with the title, but Boss Man and Credible jumped in and made it a 3-on-1 assault with nobody to help Sabu. They beat Sabu senseless and a Ravenflow DDT sealed the deal.
Shawn Michaels is backstage hyping up his best friend Triple H prior to the main event tonight with Kurt Angle while an opportunity for both of them hangs in the balance. Michaels is talking about winning the World Heavyweight Championship and claiming it's been a while since he was at the tip-top of WWE. Triple H then says he's going out to beat Kurt Angle tonight, but he is going to be the one winning the World Heavyweight Championship. Michaels laughs and the two joke back and forth as to who will become champion.
The fans are reminded of the brackets for the King of the Ring Tournament, with the second King of the Ring tournament match taking place now.
The Rock def. Big Show via Countout in the King of the Ring Tournament First Round The Rock and Big Show are fighting on the outside and Big Show looks to be in full control after throwing The Rock into the steel steps. Big Show then taunts the fans on the other side, and as the official checks on Rock, Big Show is sprayed by a green mist. It's Tajiri! Tajiri was a hooded fan in the front row and runs off. The Rock then rolls back in the ring, and as Big Show is trying to clear his eyes, he is counted out.
As Big Show clears his eyes and realize what had happened, he is fuming about what's transpired. The Rock is gasping for air as his ribs hit hard and he gets his hand raised. Big Show gets inside, and The Rock rolls out and gingerly walks to the back. Big Show has a shouting match with the referee before punching him to the mat. Big Show then picks him up and hits a chokeslam before leaving.
Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler swear Big Show will be receiving a fine. They then lay out next week, which includes the other two first round matches in the King of the Ring Tournament. Chris Jericho battles Edge after making him submit earlier tonight in tag team action, and Christian will wrestle the veteran Mr. Perfect. In addition, former Intercontinental Champion Goldust will wrestle Rikishi. They then turn their attention to the ring for the main event. If Kurt Angle wins, he doesn't have to defend his title against Shawn Michaels. If Triple H wins, it will be Angle defending against both Shawn Michaels and Triple H.
Triple H def. Kurt Angle in a non-title match Triple H came out by himself for the match and was able to avoid being placed in the Angle Lock and also avoid the Angle Slam for a Pedigree instead to pin the World Heavyweight Champion.
After securing himself and Shawn Michaels an opportunity at the World Heavyweight Championship at King of the Ring, Shawn Michaels came to the ring applauding. Michaels celebrated with Triple H and then reality set in, that Triple H would be wrestling Shawn Michaels too. Michaels is celebrating while Triple H is taken back, as Raw goes off the air tonight.

Thursday Night SmackDown | May 30, 2002What you need to know...
SmackDown kicked off tonight with the confirmation that at King of the Ring, The Undertaker would defend his championship. However, against whom? Kevin Nash and Scott Hall came to the ring to say it should be one of them, but Stone Cold Steve Austin had another idea. Eventually, it was Vince McMahon assuring Austin that he was not screwed at Judgment Day, but he told Hall or Nash to pick which one would wrestle Austin in the main event for the chance to face The Undertaker at King of the Ring for the WWF Championship. Billy would lose to Test in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament. When interviewed later in the night, Billy said he was robbed of a chance to become King of the Ring once again. Chuck and Rico tried consoling him, but Billy left in a down mood. Brock Lesnar would continue his undefeated streak in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament, defeating Diamond Dallas Page with an F-5. Lesnar was credited as the most unstoppable force in this tournament. Yet, after the match, William Regal came and locked DDP in the Regal Stretch after last week's defeat at the hands of DDP.
After coming from Raw last week, Lita and Molly Holly teamed up to defeat the duo of Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson. Women's Champion Jazz was looking intently at this match.
Bubba Ray Dudley competed against Chris Benoit in the King of the Ring tournament, and this saw Benoit emerge victorious after locking in the Crippler Crossface. Despite D-Von Dudley's coaching on the sideline, Bubba Ray still tapped out.
In the final King of the Ring first round matchup for SmackDown, Booker T upset the reigning European Champion Kane after the Book-End.
The King of the Ring Tournament matches for next week are as included: Brock Lesnar versus Chris Benoit; and Booker T versus Test.
Stone Cold Steve Austin would wrestle Kevin Nash for the right to wrestle The Undertaker for the WWF Championship at King of the Ring. With Scott Hall assisting Nash throughout the match, Stone Cold nearly lost the chance. However, it was Hulk Hogan's music that distracted Nash and Hall. Hogan never came out, but it allowed Stone Cold to turn Nash around and hit the Stunner to win the match! Afterward, Scott Hall went to attack Stone Cold, but the new #1 contender got out of dodge... long enough to meet The Undertaker at the top of the ramp and then be chokeslammed off the stage!

Monday Night Raw | June 3, 2002
Raw begins the night with displaying the King of the Ring tournament brackets. It shows that The Rock and Bradshaw advanced to the semifinals. But tonight, Chris Jericho battles Edge and Christian faces Mr. Perfect in their respective first round matchups.
Shawn Michaels and Triple H start the show in the ring together as Michaels boasts about Triple H pinning Kurt Angle last week. Angle then came out and planted a seed against the two, considering they are both trying to become World Heavyweight Champion. As Angle places this doubt, Michaels and Triple H are confirmed to be teaming up tonight against the APA.
Goldust (with Trish Stratus) def. Rikishi (with Terri) Terri decides to join Rikishi for this match but Goldust uses Shattered Dreams to win the match.
After the match, Trish Stratus gets in the ring and flaunts her relationship with Goldust as she clings to Goldust in front of Terri's eyes. Jim Ross says the envy is boiling over in this stand-off.
Backstage, Christy Hemme interviews Mr. Perfect prior to his quarterfinal match in the King of the Ring tournament. Curt Hennig says he wants to live up to his name "Perfect" and nothing is more perfect than a King.
Raven© (with Big Boss Man and Justin Credible) def. Al Snow in a Hardcore Match for the Hardcore Championship Raven retains his title with the help of Boss Man and Credible, putting Snow away with an Evenflow DDT.
Raven's help continues beating down Al Snow after the match until the Hardy Boyz run out to the ring with chairs and save Al Snow from a further beatdown. The Hardy Boyz swing the chairs around to clear the ring as Raven doesn't appreciate that.
Goldust is backstage with Trish Stratus and they are discussing the Intercontinental Championship. Goldust says he will issue a challenge for next week against Rob Van Dam.
Christian def. Mr. Perfect in the King of the Ring Tournament First Round Christian counters a Perfect Plex with a small package and pins Mr. Perfect to advance!
Edge is shown watching Christian, his former tag team partner, advancing in the King of the Ring tournament. Edge is poked by Christy Hemme in the shoulder, getting his attention, and asks about the potential of facing Christian in the next round. Edge briefly says his attention is on Chris Jericho.
As Billy Kidman tries to come to the ring for his match, Big Show attacks him from behind. Big Show throws Kidman around the ringside area. He'd overthrow the top half of the steel steps before sending Kidman into the steel with a chokeslam. Big Show got inside the ring and reveals he's taken exception to the fine handed by the WWF. Big Show warns Tajiri that Billy Kidman only had a taste of what is in store for him when he shows his face again.
Backstage, World Heavyweight Champion is seen conversing with the APA, who look unimpressed. We have no audio provided.
Edge def. Chris Jericho in the King of the Ring Tournament First Round Edge earns his first win since WrestleMania X8, a two and a half month span, winning with an Edgecution.
D'Lo Brown drops a hint to Christy Hemme backstage of bringing a former friend of his back to the WWF.
Intercontinental Champion Rob Van Dam heads into Ric Flair's office. Van Dam tells Flair he will accept Goldust's challenge and put his title on the line next week. Flair makes the match official!
Advertised for next week's WWF Raw, along with the Intercontinental Championship match made official, is the King of the Ring tournament match between The Rock and Bradshaw. But up now, Bradshaw is in action with Faarooq to wrestle D-Generation X.
D-Generation X def. APA Everything breaks down as the APA struggles and Kurt Angle decides to come out and help. Angle hops on the apron and is struck down by Triple H, followed by a crossbody to the floor by Shawn Michaels. Bradshaw is ready to level Triple H with a Clothesline from Hell, but The Rock slides in and turns Bradshaw around into a Rock Bottom. The Rock bounces before Triple H then gets in and hits a Pedigree to seal the win.
As Triple H and Shawn Michaels celebrate a win and Kurt Angle grasps the World Heavyweight Championship to his chest shouting in frustration, Triple H and Michaels have a moment of staring each other down as they challenge together for the World Heavyweight Championship at King of the Ring in three weeks, as Raw goes off the air.

Thursday Night SmackDown | June 6, 2002What you need to know...
Booker T fought Test in the King of the Ring Tournament quarterfinals and would overcome Test with a scissors kick, advancing to the semifinals of the tournament. Billy and Chuck would lose to the Dudley Boyz, which resulted in Billy and Chuck getting into odds and Rico had to calm Billy down before he left. Brock Lesnar and Chris Benoit went toe-to-toe but it was Lesnar's unforeseen strength that would be the difference maker in beating Benoit with an F-5 after throwing Benoit around the final three minutes with German suplexes, weakening the Rabid Wolverine down.
Lita and Molly Holly, a week after teaming up, would go head-to-head for a shot at Jazz's Women's Championship and it was Lita hitting a Twist of Fate to earn the opportunity - booking the match for King of the Ring.
Diamond Dallas Page came to address his hometown crowd but Maven interrupted DDP, resulting in Maven getting hit with a Diamond Cutter in front of DDP's family.
European Champion Kane got back to his winning ways, ending Shawn Stasiak with a Chokeslam.
The Undertaker and Stone Cold Steve Austin had an exchange of words at the beginning of the show, which resulted in the nWo coming and attacking them before Hulk Hogan comes out to even the odds. This results in a six-man tag for the main event. Stone Cold's Stunner takes X-Pac down. After the match, Hogan hollered after Kevin Nash who avoided contact with Hogan and Stone Cold and The Undertaker had a standoff.

Monday Night Raw | June 10, 2002
Raw starts tonight with Triple H and Shawn Michaels getting into it verbally, as lighter banter back and forth turns into a personal attack on both personal lives. Triple H attacks Shawn Michaels and him quitting on the WWF and Michaels attacks Triple H's relationship with Vince's daughter. This turns into Kurt Angle coming and stirring the pot, before he suggests Triple H and Michaels fighting later tonight. Both men agree to it as the main event is made! Best friends at odds, Triple H and Shawn Michaels, will go one-on-one two weeks before the triple threat for the gold.
Big Show def. Scotty 2 Hotty Big Show destroyed Scotty 2 Hotty and finished Scotty 2 Hotty with a chokeslam.
Big Show continued the assault after the match and drove Scotty 2 Hotty through the announce table in front of Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler. Big Show then challenged Tajiri to show his face next week on Raw.
Raven is with Big Boss Man and Justin Credible as Raven sends out a threat to the Hardy Boyz, that they'll be in the ring later tonight if they want a piece of the Hardcore Champion and his two closest friends.
Rob Van Dam© def. Goldust (with Trish Stratus) for the Intercontinental Championship Goldust is close to retaining his title when Terri rushes down and starts a cat fight with Trish. This distracts the official long enough for Rikishi to throw a steel chair in for RVD to throw it in Goldust's face and hit a spinning heel kick. Van Dam disposes the chair and hits a Five-Star Frog Splash to win.
Rob Van Dam tries getting out of dodge with his title, but Rikishi runs through the champion on the way to the ramp. Rikishi throws Van Dam into the steel steps and uses the Stink Face on the outside while Trish and Terri's fight ensues on the other side of the ring in front of Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.
World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle heads over to Triple H backstage and continues igniting the situation between he and best friend Shawn Michaels. Angle says he overheard Michaels talking to catering about Triple H needing Michaels, and without the original incarnation of DX, Triple H would've still been "well, just Hunter Hurst Helmsley." Triple H gets visibly upset and heads away from the champion.
Just as he's about to go to the ring with Faarooq for the King of the Ring Tournament Quarterfinals, Christy Hemme stops Bradshaw and asks about hearing The Rock's comments earlier this afternoon about Bradshaw not being a singles competitor, and him being a tag team guy riding Faarooq's coattails. Bradshaw asks, and the video does it justice. On the monitor nearby, it's shown The Rock making comments about The Rock moving away from Faarooq who held him back in the Nation of Domination, and it'd be good for Bradshaw to do the same. The Rock indeed calls Bradshaw a guy who needs help, rather than good enough to go on his own. After seeing this, Bradshaw is infuriated and orders Faarooq to stay in the back and he'll take care of business on his own tonight.
The Rock def. Bradshaw in the King of the Ring Tournament Quarterfinals After issuing his APA partner Faarooq to stay in the back, Bradshaw can't measure up and his Clothesline from Hell is countered with a Rock Bottom for The Rock to advance to the semifinals in the tournament.
Kurt Angle next goes to Shawn Michaels backstage and tells the Heart Break Kid that he overheard Triple H saying that Shawn Michaels hasn't been the same since losing to Austin at WrestleMania in '98 and he's gone soft. Michaels says he'll show Triple H that he hasn't gotten soft, and at King of the Ring, he'll show Angle too!
Hardcore Champion Raven heads to the ring with Big Boss Man and Justin Credible backing him up. Raven calls out The Hardy Boyz and after several minutes of badgering, they finally show up... but they don't come alone. Along with Matt and Jeff carrying steel chairs, Al Snow shows up with Head and the trio rush to the ring. They swing for the fences with Boss Man and Credible, but Raven ducks out before he's touched. Raven backs up the ramp and watches the trio stand tall in the ring.
Edge stands by with Christy Hemme and Hemme asks about facing his former tag team partner and childhood best friend Christian next week to advance in the King of the Ring tournament. Edge says he respects Christian and hope they can have a hair match when Christian walks up and leaves Edge with "all is fair in love and war."
Mr. Perfect has a sit-down interview with Jim Ross from earlier in the week at Mr. Perfect's house. Mr. Perfect sulks in his early elimination from the King of the Ring Tournament and admits to JR he doesn't know what's next, if there is a next. Mr. Perfect ends the interview prematurely and says while he respects Jim Ross, he needs to cut this interview short and Mr. Perfect heads away.
Raven is running away when he meets face-to-face with Ric Flair. Flair lets Raven know he'll be back at the arena next week for a six-man tag with him, Big Boss Man, and Justin Credible facing Al Snow and The Hardy Boyz. Flair then gives an incentive to Raven and his team to win, because if he loses, he'll defend the Hardcore Championship at King of the Ring against Al Snow.
Advertised for next week's WWF Raw is Edge wrestling Christian in a King of the Ring tournament match with the winner meeting The Rock in the semifinals. Rob Van Dam also will wrestle Rikishi next week, and with the end result of the Intercontinental Championship match, Flair has decided to make a triple threat between Rikishi, Rob Van Dam, and Goldust at the King of the Ring PPV.
Kurt Angle decides to get an up-close-and-personal look at the main event by plopping a chair at ringside with a huge bucket of popcorn.
Shawn Michaels def. Triple H Michaels and Triple H tear the house down and Angle loves every minute of it. Towards the end, Triple H hits a Spinebuster and is ready to hit a Pedigree but Michaels eludes it and tries hitting a Superkick, but Triple H eludes that! Triple H drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring and mouths off to Michaels, but turns around and Angle is talking trash to Triple H. Triple H listens to it long enough and grabs a handful of the popcorn and eats it. He gets a second handful and throws that in Angle's face. Angle stands up and as he goes to throw a punch, Triple H blocks it and counters with a few punches of his own. Triple H then clotheslines Angle over the barricade and shouts him down before he gets inside the ring and is hit with a Sweet Chin Music! Taking his eyes off the prize, Triple H eats the boot and defeat.
Shawn Michaels shouts down at Triple H after just knocking his lights out and Kurt Angle watches as he pulls himself over the barricade. Michaels goes to leave the ring when Angle tumbles over the barricade and gets in the ring to stomp away at Triple H, but Michaels stops for a moment and hits Sweet Chin Music on the champ! The champion is down! Michaels stands over both men as Raw goes off the air with the Heart Break Kid sending a big statement two weeks ahead of their title match.

Thursday Night SmackDown | June 13, 2002What you need to know...
Kevin Nash came with Scott Hall and X-Pac to challenge Hulk Hogan to a match at King of the Ring. Hogan didn't hesitate to accept this match, and the main event later for tonight is announced to be Hulk Hogan against X-Pac. Billy and Chuck suffer another loss, this time to Perry Saturn and Shawn Stasiak in a major upset. This continues the dissent between Billy and Chuck that Rico has to separate.
Women's Champion Jazz competed with #1 contender Lita watching on closely while she provided commentary. Jazz defeats Jacqueline to keep momentum on her side.
Diamond Dallas Page's match with Test went DDP's way and before the Diamond Cutter, Maven attacks DDP and Test helps the youngster take out Page.
European Champion Kane continues to roll, defeating Steven Richards.
Hulk Hogan wrestled X-Pac in a 1-on-1 match but it was a 3-on-1 with Nash and Hall getting involved. But Hogan was good fighting off the interference and ended up hitting a Hogan Leg Drop to pin X-Pac, but this was met immediately by Hall and Nash attacking Hogan. This was then met with Stone Cold Steve Austin coming down and getting involved, but the nWo numbers were too much, but then The Undertaker comes to even the odds! The Undertaker and Stone Cold battle to take out the nWo and after doing so, The Undertaker grabs Stone Cold by the throat and hits the Chokeslam! The Undertaker lays his challenger out at the end of SmackDown!

Monday Night Raw | June 17, 2002
Raw kicks off with the World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle reminding everyone to watch King of the Ring this Sunday for his win over both Triple H and Shawn Michaels, calling it the biggest victory since Jericho beat The Rock and Stone Cold in the same night. Shawn Michaels comes to explain to Angle if he can hit the Sweet Chin Music on his best friend, he's willing to do anything to win. Triple H shows up and perceives this as Michaels bragging about last week, and as they argue, Angle's eating this up and Ric Flair comes out. Flair says he needs a main event tonight, and he believes Triple H and Shawn Michaels are still the best of friends, just very competitive. Flair announces that Triple H and Shawn Michaels will team up, facing Kurt Angle and the man he name-dropped moments ago, Chris Jericho.
Goldust (with Trish Stratus) def. Rikishi Six nights before they face Rob Van Dam in a triple threat for the Intercontinental Championship, Goldust and Rikishi are going at it. It was originally going to be Rob Van Dam in this position, but he was unable to appear tonight due to travel issues. Goldust is in position for the Stink Face until Trish's distraction allows Goldust to get up and low-blow Rikishi and hit Shattered Dreams for the win.
After the match, Goldust is celebrating with Trish Stratus when Stratus is attacked by Terri! The two women go at it as Goldust pulls Trish off of Terri and gets his legs swooped underneath by ROB VAN DAM! Nobody thought he was here tonight! The champion leaps up to the top for a 5 Star Frog Splash.
Bradshaw is visibly upset with Farooq backstage after falling for The Rock's trick last week to keep Farooq away from ringside, while Bradshaw fails to advance in the King of the Ring tournament, one Bradshaw dubs career-altering. Farooq steers Bradshaw's focus to tonight when they wrestle D'Lo Brown and Tommy Dreamer.
Big Show drags Jushin Thunder Liger to the ring, beaten all to hell. Big Show demands Tajiri show his face and the Cruiserweight Champion obliges, concerned with his friend. Tajiri's advised not to take one step closer or he'll expose the face of Liger. Big Show says he is tired of the cruiserweight division and demands it all comes to an end. Big Show lays the challenge to Tajiri for Sunday. If Big Show wins, the cruiserweight division is dead. Tajiri has no other choice but to accept the challenge, but Big Show still rips Liger's mask off and leaves! Liger covers himself with help from Tajiri as they conceal the identity of Jushin Thunder Liger.
D'Lo Brown & Tommy Dreamer def. APA Bradshaw is struggling mentally and the odd pairing of Brown and Dreamer is working fairly well as Brown finishes Faarooq off with the Lo-Down.
After the match, Jim Ross spectates the doubt is creeping into Bradshaw's mind as he helps his partner up. Has Bradshaw reached his ceiling as a member of the APA?
Christy Hemme interviews Christian in the back with Lance Storm, as the Un-Americans. Hemme asks what Christian must do tonight against Edge in the King of the Ring Tournament. Christian says Edge was his former tag team partner and former best friend, hence why Lance Storm is in the picture now. Christian says he never got respect from Edge and says winning the King of the Ring tournament will demand respect.
Al Snow & The Hardy Boyz def. Big Boss Man, Justin Credible, & Raven Al Snow gets good backup from the Hardy Boyz as it's Jeff Hardy hitting a Swanton Bomb on Big Boss Man to win the match, confirming Al Snow gets a Hardcore Championship match this Sunday against Raven.
Ric Flair approaches Big Show backstage and lets him know the match card is full and he cannot allow Big Show to face Tajiri at King of the Ring. Big Show pins Flair against the wall and security come by until Big Show snaps out of it. Flair's pissed that Show put his hands on him and moves his match to next week on Raw. But with the stipulation that if Big Show loses, he's gone from Monday Night Raw.
Another part of backstage, Chris Jericho stands by with Kurt Angle. Jericho says he's excited about being Angle's partner tonight, but if Angle wins, he's looking for another reign of Jericho. Angle promises if they win tonight, he can get the next opportunity after he wipes the floor with Triple H and Shawn Michaels tonight.
Christian (with Lance Storm) def. Edge in the King of the Ring Tournament Quarterfinals Thanks to Lance Storm on the outside, it's a cheap win as Edge is tripped coming in for a Spear and as he turns to Lance Storm, Christian sneaks up from behind for the Unprettier and pins his former tag team partner, with help from his current one! Christian advances to Sunday to face The Rock in the semifinals.
A look-ahead to the King of the Ring tournament this Sunday. Either Booker T, Brock Lesnar, Christian, or The Rock will be King of the Ring in 2002. As of tonight, Al Snow gets another crack at Raven's Hardcore Championship. Plus two big triple threat matches to determine the Intercontinental and World Heavyweight Champion.
Raven is furious with the Big Boss Man about losing the match for him and Justin Credible tries calming him down, but it's only until Ric Flair. Flair announces that there's a fair share of triple threats this Sunday, and considering Jeff Hardy scored the fall, he's adding Hardy to the match! Raven is livid and gives him more of a reason to go off on Big Boss Man until Raven falls to silence.
Ahead of the main event, Jim Ross confirms Shawn Michaels and Triple H have not talked the entire evening backstage, whilst they make their entrances separately.
Shawn Michaels & Triple H def. Chris Jericho & Kurt Angle Michaels and Triple H clearly have tension between them as Angle and Jericho work together like a well-oiled machine. Yet as the tension grows between Michaels and Triple H, they start to channel that towards their opponents. Angle sees where this is going, so he high-tails it as Jericho is hit with a Sweet Chin Music and a Pedigree to lose the match!
Kurt Angle watches on from the ramp, clutching his championship, as Michaels looks back to Triple H and they shake hands, burying the hatchet. Michaels turns back to the ramp to shout at the champion, before Triple H pulls Michaels in for a PEDIGREE! Triple H lays Michaels out and crotch chops him. Triple H signals the title as he locks eyes with Angle and Monday Night Raw goes off the air.

Thursday Night SmackDown | June 20, 2002What you need to know...
Chris Benoit challenges a red-hot European Champion Kane, yet he loses a hard-fought match with a Chokeslam. Following a loss to Crash Holly and Hardcore Holly, Billy and Chuck are infuriated and Rico is trying to calm everyone down before they decide to SPLIT UP! Rico's flustered as his golden goose tag team is no more, and it seems as this means more than just their tag team arrangement.
It was Lita's turn as Women's Champion Jazz watched closely as Lita beats Molly Holly.
Maven and Test have a tag team match against Diamond Dallas Page and a partner of his choosing... who turns out to be Mark Henry and Henry and DDP finish Maven and Test off with a Diamond Cutter on Maven.
Earlier in the show, Lesnar told Booker T backstage he has no chance of beating Lesnar this Sunday... and as the show closes before the main event, it appears Brock Lesnar has been hit in the parking lot with a Ford. Lesnar is down big and puts his place in Sunday's King of the Ring Tournament in jeopardy.
The main event saw the nWo team up against Hogan, Undertaker, and Stone Cold. Perhaps the biggest SmackDown main event in history, and a dream match for much of the Monday Night War. The nWo go down this match and Stone Cold leaves both Hogan and Undertaker out with Stunners, standing tall at the very end.
