~We Are Professional Wrestling~
One of the co-founders of WAPW, Good Ole JR, Jim Ross is in the ring to open up the show. JR starts off by welcoming an audience of about 500 to what he hopes is the start of something historical. He then begins to speak about the hungry and versatile roster of WAPW. There are young guns striving to rise to the top, and there are veterans ready to continue submitting their legacies. JR says that he couldn’t be prouder of what has been assembled for tonight and beyond! He then thanks the fans again and says that WAPW wouldn’t be possible without their support. JR gets a big ovation as his theme hits and he makes his exit by tipping his signature hat to the fans. The bell then sounds and Justin Roberts enters the ring to announce the competitors for tonight’s opening contest! Legendary commentator, Mike Tenay and Christopher Parks, the man formerly known as Abyss are at the commentary booth ready to call the action!
~Jordynne Grace vs. Lana Austin~
The Women’s Division was giving the spotlight in the first ever match in WAPW history. Jordynne Grace showed dominance right from the get go as she woman-handled Lana Austin all over the ring, but a sneaky rake of the eyes and a chop at the knee gave Lana the advantage she needed. But Lana Austin’s dirty tactics didn’t stop there. She used an absurd amount of illegal chokes to slow down the much more powerful Grace. But in the end, Jordynne Grace showed the world why she’s one of the fastest rising stars in all of professional wrestling as she managed to dig down deep and mount a comeback that eventually brought an end to Lana Austin’s questionable offense. Jordynne Grace would go on to win the match by submission after locking Lana Austin in an air tightening Bear Hug! Jordynne was pumped up after her win as she celebrated with the crowd to the fullest.
We go backstage and the woman known as the “Interview Queen” Alicia Atout is standing by with a very special guest. The camera pans out and we see the “American Nightmare” himself, Cody! With him is his wife, “Mrs. Nightmare” Brandi! Alicia welcomes Cody and Brandi to the interview and brings up how Cody will be competing in tonight’s main event against the man once known as the “King” Pac! Cody says that he knows Pac very well, he also says that he knows his hands are going to be full, and that there will be no easy victory. But Cody says he knows adversity better than anyone, and tonight, his match against Pac will be another piece added to his family’s legacy as he will go on to win the first main event in WAPW history! Before they walk off, Alicia thanks Cody and Brandi for their time, she then sends it back to ringside for the next match!
~Jay White vs. Juice Robinson~
In an exciting back and forth contest, Juice Robinson gave it all he had, but it was the “Switchblade” Jay White who stood victorious after striking Robinson with the Blade Runner! After the match and much to the crowds disdain, White got on the mic to gloat about himself, and to say how he doesn’t give a d*mn about a single other person other than himself. He calls the world his enemy, and it is his job to vanquish it. The crowd boos as Jay White throws down his mic and exits with a cocky look on his face.
~Young Bucks vs. oVe w/ Sami Callihan~
It was a duel of brothers as Matt and Nick Jackson battled Dave and Jake Crist. It was an action packed match between two respectful teams, but oVe’s wildcard, Sami Callihan was the difference maker in this one. Callihan caused a distraction and attacked Nick Jackson from behind. This allowed oVe to get the advantage as the Crist brothers hit Matt Jackson with a double big boot! One to the front and one to the back. Dave Crist made the cover for the 1, 2, 3! After the match Sami Callihan began yelling at the crowd as he raised the hands of the Crist brothers in victory all while the Bucks tried to recover and regroup on the outside.
Backstage, Alician Atout is standing by with Jordynne Grace. Jordynne, still in her wrestling gear but with a towel around her neck is still gushing with excitement over her win earlier tonight. Alicia asks her how it felt to not only compete, but to win the first ever match in WAPW history. Jordynne calls it a huge honor and one of the biggest matches of her life. “Blah, blah, blah!” Jordynne is cut off by none other than Tessa Blanchard. Tessa tells Jordynne to stop being so full of herself and to stop acting like she’s going to go somewhere in WAPW, because wherever Tessa goes, it’s Tessa’s show. Jordynne tells Tessa that if it’s her show, then she should have no problem facing her one on one next week to defend it. Tessa laughs a sarcastic remark and tells Jordynne that she doesn’t even belong in the same ring as her. She tells Jordynne to step aside for greatness before walking away. Jordynne looks annoyed as the segment ends.
~Moose vs. Ryback~
In a battle between two super heavyweights, neither man wanted to give in. With hard shot after hard shot, both Ryback and Moose found themselves on spaghetti legs late in the contest. The veteran Ryback tried to end things with the Meat Hook clothesline, but Moose managed to step aside just in the nick of time! He then surprised Ryback by hitting the “Big Guy” with the Game Breaker! Moose made the successful cover of the 1, 2, 3 to win it! After the match, Moose celebrated his win until he noticed Ryback rising to his feet. Moose then approached Ryback and offered him his hand. Ryback accepted and Moose helped him up. To two embraced and Ryback raised Moose’s hand before giving Moose the ring. Moose continued to celebrate until Ryback blasted him in the back! The crowd erupted into boos as Ryback began to assault Moose. After getting him groggy, Ryback hoisted Moose onto his shoulders and struck with Shellshocked! Ryback stood tall over his adversary as cameras faded away to break.
~Dezmond Xavier vs. Will Ospreay~
The two acrobatic high flyers put on a clinic! Each showcased their incredible move sets, but it was Dezmond Xavier who put Will Ospreay down for the 1, 2, 3 after hitting his finishing manuever, the Final Flash from the top rope! The crowd gave Xavier a huge ovation as he celebrated his victory.
Cameras pan over to the announce booth where Christopher Parks tells Mike Tenay that Dezmond Xavier’s Final Flash might not be the last high flying finisher we see tonight. Tenay agrees because the Red Arrow is in play next as Pac does battle with Cody in our main event! The inaugural main event of WAPW is next!
~Main Event~
Cody w/ Brandi Rhodes vs. Pac
The first main event in the history of WAPW did not disappoint as Cody and Pac laid it all on the line. Numerous near falls were made by both men, and Pac nearly forced Cody to tap out to the Rings of Saturn, but Cody’s recilency allowed him to escape the finishing submission, and battle back for a big finish. Just as Cody struck Pac with Cross Rhodes, the lights went out! And when they came back, both Cody and Pac were out cold in the center of the ring, and standing over them was none other than Y2J, Chris Jericho. The match finished in a no contest as Jericho posed over Cody and Pac’s bodies to end the show.

This is definitely getting me excited, especially with you having a show so soon. It's been typical that your projects sign, build a great roster, and there's not much else. Glad you went ahead and put it all together. Interesting to start the company with a woman's match. It shows there can be an emphasis made on the women, so we'll see that moving forward. Not entirely familiar with either wrestler, but a bear hug to win a match? Excited for Cody versus Pac! White going over Robinson was interesting and will prove to be the right call if you push Jay White. Bucks lost?! But they did so with Sami's inclusion, which gives you a shock factor, as well as fueling oVe's heel run and provides a good tag team rivalry to build on. Jordynne versus Tessa? Hopefully Tessa emerges victorious next week. Moose going over cleanly, but then the Ryback heel turn was the right call. Ryback as a heel is going to set him apart from everything else. I like it! Not fond of Ospreay losing to Xavier, but we'll see what you do with it. I'm upset at the main event. The involvement of Jericho could have been done in an alternate way. The first main event should have been a decisive finish, and then you could've had Jericho attack the both after the match. Man oh man... but I want to see who Jericho mainly feuds with now. Looking forward to the second show! This roster looks great.
