So I thought I would provide a tiny update on my life:
I transferred to App State where I'm living in an apartment with three other guys. Over the last month I have:
- found a new church and began attending a small group Bible study
- got the bid to pledge for AGO (a Christian fraternity on campus)
- got accepted into the Electronic Media/Broadcasting program
- starting up a sports website with a classmate from my Journalism class
- attended a wrestling event, getting to see Trevor Lee wrestle for the final time before WWE
- participated in several transfer and icebreaker events at App
I've been busy and sometimes seems like a lot (and it is). But I'm also hoping to grow that sports website and I have aspirations to revive a couple projects on here in a new modern way. It's about finding the balance of how much effort can be exerted in it, but also continuing the legacy so it lives on in some form.
So yep, that's the Boomstick's 2019 in a nutshell.
