Contract Update on Brock Lesnar & Paul Heyman Following a loss at WrestleMania to Seth Rollins, there is no clear indication that Brock Lesnar has re-signed with the WWE.
People believe that Vince McMahon will pursue retaining the Beast Incarnate. The push back is Lesnar will only be booked for high-profile matches and there isn't any desire to put the WWE Universal Championship in his hands again anytime soon.
Lesnar is rumored to be scheduling a fight with Daniel Cormier in August for UFC. It is unknown if he will still be with the WWE at this time.
As far as Paul Heyman, his status with WWE is unknown as well. Rumors are reporting he would like to remain with the WWE in some capacity, regardless of Lesnar's decision moving forward.Ronda Rousey's Status Following WrestleMania Ronda Rousey dropped her title in a triple threat to Becky Lynch, a match that also featured Charlotte Flair. Rousey is signed to a multi-year contract with the company but there are raising concerns worth mentioning.
Rousey has expressed desire of beginning a family, but it has been clarified she is still wanting to fulfill her obligations of an in-ring career and is still enjoying her time with WWE.
For the immediate future, Rousey suffered a hand injury in her loss at WrestleMania. For this reason, she will be taking time off. Fans should expect her to be back in 2019 and play a prominent role in the women's division moving forward.Dean Ambrose Update The biggest rumors in the WWE all surround the future of Jonathan Good, better known as Dean Ambrose by beloved fans.
Dean Ambrose has not re-signed with WWE, has expressed no interest in doing so, and has no further TV dates scheduled with the WWE for the remainder of his contract that expires at the end of this month.
Talks have cooled off and Ambrose has only been approached a few times by management with new contract offers, but none have convinced the Lunatic Fringe to stay.
In this business, it is a 'never say never.' However, do not expect Dean Ambrose to be mentioned or seen again on WWE television. His final appearance was losing to Drew McIntyre in a Falls Count Anywhere match leading up to WrestleMania.

April 9, 2019# SmackDown began with the "Best in the World" Shane McMahon boasting of his win on Sunday, in spite of the crowd's disdain. Shane O'Mac mentioned he gave The Miz a night off for his efforts, but wanted to congratulate Kofi Kingston on the WWE Championship win, who has an in-ring celebration later in the evening. People began to chant Kofi before Shane brings out The Usos. Shane addressed the tag team champions and their decision two weeks ago to forfeit their spot in the gauntlet. Now, they must wrestle The New Day for the titles. However, The New Day came to the ring and returned the favor, forfeiting their opportunity. It was then Shane backtracking, and saying The New Day might have forfeited, but he set up a gauntlet. Up first is Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura. #The Usos defend the SmackDown Tag Team Championships in a GauntletFirst, Rusev and Nakamura challenges. The Usos were able to handle the match, but escaped the first challenge by Jey Uso cradling Rusev in a pin.
Next was The Bar. Jey Uso would injure his back against Cesaro and Sheamus. While Jey was in pain, he was being taken for a spin, but he ended up trying to cradle pin Cesaro much like he did Rusev, but Cesaro kicked out at 2. Instead, Cesaro popped up into a Superkick that took a lot out of Jey's back, but The Usos topped them.
Up next was Epico and Primo Colon. They looked to capitalize on Jey Uso's back injury, but once Jimmy Uso got in, he carried the load and finished it off with a Samoan Drop that took the wind out of Epico.
Then comes Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. These two had several close calls to become the new tag team champions, and after hitting a Magic Killer on Jey, Jimmy Uso barely made the save. As they then double-teamed Jimmy Uso, Jey recovered and hit a dropkick, knocking Gallows to the outside. This freed up Jimmy to hit a Samoan Drop on Anderson, to follow it up with Jey going high for an Uso Splash to drop Anderson and Gallows.
Up next comes sAniTy. Byron Saxton and Tom Phillips questioned how many more tag teams The Usos have left to face. Led and coached by Eric Young, this was the greatest test. Several more close calls as Jey Uso became ineffective and Jimmy Uso had to carry a lot of the weight, which was almost impossible with Killian Dain. However, it was superkicks in motion on Alexander Wolfe followed by Jimmy Uso going to the top with an Uso Splash to put them away.
After finishing off sAniTy, Eric Young immediately jumped The Usos and Killian Dain joined in. Jimmy Uso was thrown outside and eventually thrown through the announce table by Dain. Jey Uso was handled on the inside with being hit with The Edge of Sanity by Young. sAniTy would leave, leaving Jimmy Uso in rubble and Jey Uso laid out in the ring, before Greg Hamilton relayed the message of the final team in the gauntlet...
Daniel Bryan's music hit with he and Rowan walking down confidently to boos. The official was checking on Jey, but Rowan intimidated the official, and as Jey was picked up by Rowan, he pushed him into a running knee by the former WWE Champion before the champion pinned him. winners: Daniel Bryan and Rowan# Samoa Joe is backstage with Kayla Braxton, who asks the new United States Champion about his experience at WrestleMania. Joe ignores the question, calling the Usos out for not being true champions. Joe made the claim he could fight off everyone on the SmackDown roster, and even the Raw roster, involving the Superstar Shakeup next week. Joe says whether he's on Raw or SmackDown, he vows to be the longest reigning WWE United States Champion in history! #
# To the ring is AJ Styles. Styles reflects on his win against Randy Orton at WrestleMania and mentions the real possibility of being involved in the Superstar Shakeup. Styles says no matter the outcome of next week, SmackDown will always be the House that AJ Styles built. Styles drops the mic and heads on to the back after a near-ten minute promo.Kevin Owens vs. Shelton BenjaminOwens looked to be in great shape and while Benjamin tried to use power and athleticism, Owens stays afloat and catches Benjamin with a Stunner to win. winner: Kevin Owens# A video of an interview caught with Charlotte Flair following WrestleMania shows. Charlotte is in tears and claims to reach for the throne once again, that her pursuit is far from over. #
# Raw and SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch comes to the ring to celebrate her victory and address the SmackDown crowd as the people who were always behind her from the get-go. This is interrupted by Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, the new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, who say that Lynch's win was a fluke and the official flubbed. Lynch then laughs and says she pinned Rousey, but it was of her own earning, not taking advantage of someone else's finishing move. Lynch then says it's back-to-back nights she's been interrupted like this, but will fight them both if necessary. Then R-Truth interrupts with Carmella as he hypes up Carmella as winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, and while Carmella is trying to correct him, Lynch stops the shenanigans, cuts to the chase, and invites Carmella to be her tag partner. #The IIconics vs. Becky Lynch and Carmella w/R-TruthThe IIconics have their way with Carmella, but once Lynch is tagged in, the Raw and SmackDown Women's Champion went off and once gaining momentum, she was blindsided by Billie Kay's long legs that knocks her into the corner, Carmella tags, and Carmella falls victim to the Venus Fly Trap Suplex by Royce for a major upset. winners: The IIconics# A tweet from The Miz is shared, expressing a desire to be at the arena but Shane McMahon didn't allow it, and vows to be present for Superstar Shakeup next week. #
# Randy Orton has an interview with Kayla Braxton about his defeat to AJ Styles at WrestleMania. Orton tells Braxton it would be in AJ's best interest if they never meet again. Braxton mentions it is a possibility with the Superstar Shakeup next week. Orton said he's used to this, being in the WWE since 2002. Orton says no matter where he is, it doesn't matter. All that matters is who is with him. #
# In the ring is the celebration for Kofi Kingston. Big E and Xavier Woods come out tossing pancakes and with balloons, pancakes, Booty O's, and New Day memorabilia galore in the ring, Xavier and Big E get the microphones. They build Kofi up for his journey in the WWE, giving everyone a quick summary of the 11-year career. Then inviting the WWE Champion Kofi Kingston to the ring, he embraces his New Day brothers and speaks. Kingston said WrestleMania was a symbol of triumph and says it does not end there. Kingston says he is ready to be the WWE Champion for a long, long time. Xavier then kicked off the party as the music begins and they down some pancakes while they launch tees into the crowd. This is interrupted by Daniel Bryan's music and the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions come to the ring. Bryan affirms that just because they are the new tag team champions, doesn't mean he is not focused on regaining the WWE Championship. This threat and staredown is how SmackDown ends tonight, as Tom Phillips reminds everyone to tune in to 205 Live on the WWE Network next. # April 9 2019# Tonight's episode begins with hyping the Cruiserweight Championship rematch between Tony Nese and Buddy Murphy in tonight's main event. #Akira Tozawa vs. Humberto Carrillo w/Drew GulakCarrillo impressed everyone, aside from a critical Gulak, which didn't help when Tozawa hit a Snap German out of nowhere and ended the hopes of Carrillo. winner: Akira TozawaFollowing the match, Gulak got inside and slapped Carrillo after verbally abusing the protege for losing. Carrillo just takes it and Gulak leaves the student in the ring. # Buddy Murphy is asked by Kayla Braxton how he will approach the match tonight, if it is any different after losing to Tony Nese on Sunday. Murphy said he brought his A game at WrestleMania and it wasn't quite good enough... so tonight it will be an A+.Lucha House Party vs. Ariya Daivari, Jack Gallagher, and Mike Kanellis w/Maria KanellisThis 6-man tag team action is fast paced, but it slows down when Kanellis nails a discus forearm to the back of Dorado's head before nailing the Power of Love for a big win for his team. winners: Ariya Daivari, Jack Gallagher, and Mike Kanellis# Cedric Alexander meets Drake Maverick in his office to clamor for a match against Oney Lorcan next week. After constant pleading, Alexander gets the match made official. #Buddy Murphy vs. Tony Nese(c) for the Cruiserweight ChampionshipNese and Murphy went at it for over fifteen minutes. Several close falls both ways, yet Murphy went for a springboard attempt and landed on his knee wrong after Nese moved out of the way. Murphy reached for his leg and got caught in a Pumphandle Michinoku Driver. Nese quickly locks in the Single Leg Boston Crab on the injured knee and Murphy immediately taps. winner: Tony Nese
After retaining the title, Nese celebrated before exiting quickly while Buddy Murphy has not moved on the mat, as medical staff come in and load the former Cruiserweight Champion on a stretcher at the end of 205 Live.

Buddy Murphy Update Buddy Murphy was stretchered off at the end of 205 Live in his rematch with Tony Nese for the Cruiserweight Championship.
While this was a scripted ending to the match, it was indeed done to write him off television for a while.
Buddy Murphy entered WrestleMania weekend in need of knee surgery and competed in the two matches with a bad knee. Murphy is scheduled for surgery on Friday morning.
The timetable for Buddy Murphy's return is not official at this time. However, it is expected he miss at least four to six months with the surgery.205 Live's Revamp Expect big changes with 205 Live in the coming months. Reports say that Triple H is pushing for 205 Live to take off to another level and be as hot of a commodity in WWE as the NXT brand.
The WWE is looking to revamp the brand with new and fresh talent and concepts, according to sources.
The changes are wanting to be implemented sooner than later to provide legitimacy to the brand before SmackDown Live moves to Friday nights on FOX. It is unclear how this will effect 205 Live, as it goes immediately on the air following SmackDown on Tuesday nights. It is not clear whether 205 Live will remain on Tuesdays or move to Friday nights with SmackDown.Raw and SmackDown Creative Mentioned on Monday Night Raw was the fact Shane and Stephanie McMahon will be assembling "teams." This is apparently a new approach to the authoritative position on Raw and SmackDown.
These creative teams will be unique to Raw and SmackDown where commissioners Stephanie and Shane will be the head of creative. According to reports, there will be two to three people put in charge on each brand alongside commissioners to be "specialists" on-air. This is to provide something fresh not seen before on WWE.
As for when these creative teams will appear, or who are on these teams, it is unclear. It will be interesting to see this board team approach and see what WWE decides to do with this new concept.

Triple H turns it to Regal, who says they can remain in the ring for a battle royal that will commence now to determine the number one contender for Gargano's NXT Championship. The champion is interrupted by Alexa Bliss, who claims this is still her show. Lynch asked when the last time Bliss had competed rather than talked. This prompts Bliss to break the news she has been medically cleared for competition. The crowd erupted as Stephanie McMahon comes proud of herself for the advancement in the women's division and now having two of the best in WWE here on Raw. They threaten Barrett's welfare when the B-Team shows up. Dallas and Axel say the Intercontinental Championship would look good with them, while Barrett, Lashley, and Rush all scoff. Stephanie McMahon then comes out to say she likes the idea of an opportunity. She makes a tag team match with the winners being put into a triple threat against Finn Balor at Backlash for the title, while the losers will be moved off Raw. #B-Team vs. Bobby Lashley and Wade Barrett w/Lio RushLashley and Barrett are dominating Axel and Dallas physically in all aspects, but it is moments of divide that gives the B-Team a chance. He begins to walk inside. #Carmella w/R-Truth vs. Charlotte FlairCarmella and Charlotte gave their all, but it is Charlotte stepping it up an extra notch screaming she wants her title back. Charlotte locks in the Figure Four and as Carmella screams, Charlotte bridges into the Figure Eight. Carmella tries holding on, but it is an attack that calls for the bell.
As the person comes up after assaulting both, wearing a hoodie, she rips the hood up from her face and she stars into the camera to reveal it is Ruby Riott from Raw! Riott continues and hits We Riott on Carmella, then hits the Riott Kick on Charlotte as an impact.# The Miz is shown headed down the hall. Dasha Fuentes stops him for a moment and asks for his thoughts, and The Miz said the whole world is about to find out... next! #
# The Miz comes to the ring and the A-Lister details the heartbreak from losing at WrestleMania, but it's bittersweet because of superplexing Shane O'Mac off that platform felt rewarding. The Miz said it is far from over, and Shane O'Mac responds. McMahon comes and tells The Miz he believes it is over, and then he's interrupted by the B-Team. Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel, making their way to SmackDown Live, stuck up for The Miz. They spoke out about the wrongdoings of Shane concerning George Mizanin, but then after their peace is spoken, sAniTy comes out. Shane tells them this little one-night reunion for the Miztourage can fight sAniTy now. #The Miztourage vs. sAniTyThe Miztourage had the fullest support for them, and they rally for Axel to hit a Perfect-Plex in honor of his late father on Eric Young to win the six-man tag. winners: The Miztourage
Immediately after, Shane McMahon comes to spoil the party. Shane O'Mac mentions their feud is indeed over because The Miz has been shipped to Monday Night Raw. The fans boo, as does the Miztourage, while The Miz tears up after having the fans thank him with a standing ovation into the final commercial before the KO Show.# After recapping what happened moments earlier, Tom Phillips is irate but Paul Heyman believes in Shane McMahon's plan and isn't intending on being fired his first night. They mention next week will feature Braun Strowman versus one-half of the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, and #1 contender for Kofi's WWE Championship, Daniel Bryan. #The moment has come. Kevin Owens Show live on SmackDown!
KEVIN OWENS "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the KO Show!
"Tonight is a very big night for SmackDown in the Superstar Shakeup. We've seen the likes of Ember Moon, Mickie James, Hawkins and Ryder, Dolph Ziggler, and the 'Monster Among Men' Braun Strowman! I'm not sure you can get any bigger than that.
"But I am grateful that Shane McMahon has bestowed upon me to celebrate the biggest acquisition in SmackDown history. This ma-"
Kevin Owens is interrupted by the music of Bret "The Hitman" Hart and the Montreal crowd is stunned, as is Kevin Owens. Hart steps out and while Paul Heyman is confused about the biggest acquisition being a 60-year-old man, he still gets a loud ovation as he walks to the ring and steps inside. Kevin Owens rubs his eyes while his jaw is dropped.
KEVIN OWENS "Hitman?"
After Bret Hart nods, Owens fangirls and hugs Bret Hart tight. This gets a huge ovation as Bret pats Owens after this moment.
KEVIN OWENS "Is it you? Are you the biggest acquisition?"
Bret Hart laughs as he asks for a microphone and Kevin Owens makes a big deal about getting Hart a mic, as he rushes the guy at ringside before handing it to the Hall of Famer. Hart's first moment is to turn to the Montreal crowd.
BRET HART "How you doing, Montreal?"
Bret Hart soaks in the enormous reaction from the fans.
"Kevin, I have to answer your question with a yes... and a no. I have signed a contract with SmackDown Live, but to serve alongside Shane McMahon and Paige on the SmackDown Board. Therefore, the fans here in Montreal and across the world will see me here on SmackDown Live!
"As far as the greatest acquisition, I wanted to be in this ring to be among the first to welcome this acquisition to SmackDown Live!" Samoa Joe, the United States Champion, spoils the party while Heyman gets onto Phillips for announcing the obvious that Joe isn't the acquisition because he was already on SmackDown. Joe heads down and doesn't look to be in a good mood as he forces a mic out of the hands of a ringside worker.
SAMOA JOE "Oh good, we got Bret 'The Hitman' Hart in a WWE ring. That's just what else we know, a guy stuck in the 1980s trying to tell the youth about the future of the business. Looks like you weren't screwed hard enough in this building in '97.
"So Kevin, you clearly have been brainwashed by the corporation. Shane McMahon, Paige, and now this goon. You need to stop living in the past or you'll be dragged down by them too. You and I are both the future, and we don't owe these dusty old timers a damn thing.
"Kevin, we were NXT Champion. Triple H saw our potential so he gave us the ball and we ran with it. But look at who the hell is WWE Champion now. It's a no-chested fake Jamaican that looks like he starved in the Amazon for six months. Do you mean to tell me, you nor I, after having the greatest reigns in NXT history, hasn't held the most prestigious prize in the world? It's guys like him, and Shane, and Paige, and Vince."
BRET HART "Let me stop you right there, Joe. I'm on Day 1 and can assure you this is not how it will work. You have to earn all you have and SmackDown is the land of opportunity. I exp-"
SAMOA JOE "Shut your mouth old man. I've heard the same propaganda for the whole time I've been here. SmackDown Live is the land of opportunity! Pfft... This may be your first day in the office, but you've already got the script memorized."
KEVIN OWENS "Joe, I hate to do this. You make great points, I really do. But the clock is ticking and if this is going to be the best KO Show in history, it already has The Hitman, it has the United States Champion, it needs the biggest acquisition in SmackDown history.
"So drumroll please!"
Kevin Owens beats the turnbuckle as Bret Hart and Samoa Joe look to the ramp when "The Truth Reigns" sounds throughout and the Montreal crowd is stunned along with Kevin Owens, Hart pleased, and Joe pissed. "The Big Dog" Roman Reigns comes out from the curtain and gets inside the ring as Samoa Joe gets in his face, and the music stops to hear Joe's words exchanged. Reigns then pops Joe in the chin with an uppercut that rocks him back and Reigns unloads a Superman Punch! Hart and Owens then back away as Reigns summons the crowd and hits a big Spear on the United States Champion. Reigns then greets Bret Hart and Kevin Owens as he then looks down at Samoa Joe and picks the United States Championship up. Reigns raises it above his head as SmackDown Live goes off the air with its biggest acquisition yet.

Mike Kanellis w/Maria Kanellis vs. Kalisto w/Lucha House Party Kanellis keeps an impressive streak going against Kalisto, but only because Maria tripped Kalisto. As the Lucha House Party went over to confront Maria, the official tried to keep it separate when Jack Gallagher jumps the barricade and hops on the apron to deck Kalisto from behind with an umbrella, allowing Mike Kanellis to hit Power of Love for a big win. winner: Mike Kanellis
As Mike Kanellis left with his wife Maria and newfound ally Jack Gallagher, the Lucha House Party consoled Kalisto in the ring up until the music of Sin Cara hit! Sin Cara is now on 205 Live, thanks to the Superstar Shakeup! Kalisto's former partner in the Lucha Dragons comes to the stage and points to Kalisto, grabbing the attention of everyone.
# Drake Maverick is standing by with Kayla Braxton who asks about the acquisition of Sin Cara. Maverick says he was sad to see Cedric Alexander go, but Sin Cara is a big addition to 205 Live as a seasoned veteran in the WWE. Maverick hints to not be surprised, because the night is not over yet. #
Akira Tozawa vs. Tony Nese In a non-title defense, Nese still had a tough matchup against Tozawa but it was Nese constantly working on the leg before a Single Leg Boston Crab forced Tozawa, in excruciating pain, to tap out. winner: Tony Nese
The Cruiserweight Champion asked for a microphone and challenged Sin Cara or whoever else may come from the Superstar Shakeup, let alone anyone left on the 205 Live roster, to come at him. Nese said he is fighting on 205 Live and is confident he can outlast them all, not being a cruiserweight in the world who can beat him.
# Vic Joseph previews Sin Cara's 205 Live debut next week against Jack Gallagher. In addition, Joseph reveals that Drake Maverick has a "big announcement" next week on 205 Live. This is prior to a special video package for Cedric Alexander before his final 205 Live match. #
# After the package, Alexander is caught tearing up backstage by Kayla Braxton. Alexander is asked what's going through his mind, and says he gave everything he had in getting the cruiserweight division up off the ground, and he's going to give that much effort right now against Oney Lorcan. Alexander then makes his way to the ring to "Thank you Cedric" chants from the crowd in attendance. #
Cedric Alexander vs. Oney Lorcan Rivaling his Cruiserweight Classic bout with Kota Ibushi, Lorcan and Alexander tore the house down and is a surefire candidate for Match of the Year. This ended with Alexander kicking out of two Blockbusters and several hard suplexes that landed him on his neck. Alexander nearly put Lorcan away with the Lumbar Check, but Lorcan escaped and put Alexander in a Half Stranglehold that Alexander turned into a pin, but Lorcan kicks out. Alexander pops right back up into a running european uppercut that sends him into the corner, where it's set up for a half-and-half superplex! Lorcan makes the cover. winner: Oney Lorcan
Oney Lorcan celebrates before reality sets in. Cedric Alexander is on the mat in tears as the music silences. Lorcan takes a moment before helping Alexander up and embracing him in the ring. Lorcan raised Alexander's hand, but then Alexander returned the favor. The crowd gives Cedric a standing ovation before the music of another superstar interrupts the tear-jerking moment... Tyler Breeze steps out with his re-embezzled Selfie Stick as Alexander and Lorcan are annoyed by Breeze's timing. Breeze is on 205 Live! Breeze joins Sin Cara as new members from the Superstar Shakeup as the episode goes off air.

Radzi asked how Bate was feeling headed into a singles match without Trent Seven by his side, feeling under the weather. Bate expressed he was confident against Ligero, considering he was the first ever UK Champion, saying there is no need to be concerned. #
# Johnny Saint is approached by Fabian Aichner about wanting an opportunity to prove himself on NXT UK. Saint answers with placing Aichner in a match next week against Dave Mastiff. #Ligero vs. Tyler BateLigero and Bate was a high-flying affair and right when Tyler Bate looked to put him away with the Tyler Driver '97, Bate was ambushed from behind by the Coffey Brothers. winner: No Contest
The official rang the bell and got out of dodge as the Coffey Brothers took advantage of Trent Seven not being at the arena for them to lay out Ligero and finally Tyler Bate, sending a message to the Mustache Mountain.# A video from last week is shown of NXT UK Women's Champion Toni Storm providing her thoughts on defeating Jinny. Storm credited Jinny, but feels she solidified herself as being another category than anyone else on the roster. She is then asked by a male off-screen interviewer about Piper Niven's debut, and Toni included her in that statement. #Kenny Williams vs. WALTERWALTER did not take Kenny seriously, until Kenny slapped the taste out of WALTER's mouth and the NXT UK Champion kicked it up a notch and finished Kenny with a Golden Bomb. winner: WALTER

The rematch is booked as NXT UK ends! April 17, 2019# Tonight's NXT starts with a loaded card displayed by the commentary trio, including hearing from new #1 contender EC3, before they spot some scouts. Byron Saxton from the Raw Board and Paige from the SmackDown Board are watching from backstage but it is tag team action beginning. #Aleister Black and Ricochet vs. Lost Sons w/Jaxson RykerBlack and Ricochet was more groomed and were likely trying to impress the scouts, but it was Ryker getting involved that almost had the Lost Sons pull an upset. As they regroup, Ricochet asks for a microphone and lays down a challenge for the NXT Tag Team Champions with the Draft looming on May 1st. This turns into Saxton and Paige comparing NXT resumes before it is interrupted by Kona Reeves who makes his case for being drafted. Saxton nods, but Paige laughs. Paige asks if Reeves heard her resume in NXT, because he has no resume at all. Paige said he might end up on Raw because of low standards, but she needs to know he is a viable competitor. Paige suggests Kona Reeves marches to William Regal's office, demand a match next week, and prove himself to SmackDown. #
# Prior to the match now, Velveteen Dream is waiting in the ring and Adam Cole demands Dream to add a stipulation for "costing" him the NXT Championship opportunity last week. If Dream loses tonight, he defends the North American Championship in 2 weeks on Draft Night. Cole forces Dream's hand to accept the stipulation. # Adam Cole vs. Velveteen DreamCole and Dream battled it out intensely before Dream hit the Dream Valley Driver and went up top for Purple Rain. Yet, it was the Undisputed Era's Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly rushing the ring to stop Velveteen Dream. Dream is preoccupied, and the official is pushing Fish and O'Reilly away. On the other side, Roderick Strong slips Cole some brass knuckles. Cole leaps up in the corner and decks Dream with the knuckles, before dropping it off to Roderick Strong. As the official turns back around, Cole hits a superplex transitioned into a small package, which is enough to pin the North American Champion. winner: Adam Cole
While Adam Cole goes off to celebrate with the Undisputed Era, EC3 is seen marching toward the ring for his comments as #1 contender to Johnny Gargano's NXT Championship.
# Confirmed for next week is Kona Reeves in action against NXT Champion Johnny Gargano, along with the NXT Tag Team Champions War Raiders in action. #
# To close the show, EC3 comes to the ring and addresses himself winning the battle royal last week. EC3 says the Draft is looming and he intends on being moved to Raw or SmackDown after becoming the NXT Champion, so he makes the call to cash in his opportunity in two weeks on Draft Night. Johnny Gargano then responds and explains EC3 the journey to the NXT Championship for him, and it wasn't tossing two guys over a top rope. Gargano said EC3 would need to kill him to take the title away, and judging by what he went through with Tommaso Ciampa, EC3 needs to kick it up a notch. This showdown is how the NXT episode ends. #

I need to get some reviews in... Because these are great! I’ll get full reads in as soon as I can man! Sorry I haven't kept you in the loop or provided much space lol I feel like one of the reasons my projects don't last as long is because I wait to write or begin storing shows so I don't post too fast. Trying a new style now obviously.
