AUGUST 9 2018 205 Live kicks off with Cruiserweight Champion Ace Austin coming to break the news: he's going to NXT Takeover a week from Saturday to defend his title against NXT superstar Dinastia. Austin believes this will be an easy task and he can't wait to put Dinastia in his place, making himself the Ace of the Cruiserweights and "the Developments." NXT superstar Rich Swann heads out and says he was visiting friends in the back and doesn't take that comment well, "the developments." Ace Austin mocks Swann failing to score a single point in the Round Robin tournament, but says Swann can do something about it, and Rich Swann agrees to face Ace Austin in the main event tonight. Flip Gordon (1-0), Mansoor (1-0), & Mustafa Ali (1-0) vs. Kip Sabian (0-1), Marty Scurll (0-1), & Rohit Raju (0-1)In the first ever 6-man tag match for 205 Live's history, following the attack by Sabian and Scurll last week, their antics backfire as Flip Gordon hits the Star Spangled Stunner on Raju to win as Sabian and Scurll already high-tailed it up the ramp.
After the match, Sabian and Scurll lock eyes with Mansoor and Ali who stand their ground in the ring.
Vic Joseph and The Brian Kendrick get hype for the main event tonight with NXT superstar Rich Swann in the house to face Cruiserweight Champion Ace Austin. But right now, the Singh Brothers debut after a vignette of them air! Samir Singh (0-0) & Sunil Singh (0-0) vs. Jack Gallagher (1-0) & Mark Andrews (1-0)The Singh Brothers look really impressive but it's Gallagher hitting a Shotgun Dropkick on Sunil to seal the win.A third straight vignette airs for El Hijo del Fantasma, referencing he was wrongfully blackballed from the industry and had to fight underground just to continue making a living. But now that he's in 205 Live, that will be something he never worries about again. Ariya Daivari (0-1) vs. Dinastia (1-0)Dinastia looks ahead to his match against Ace Austin at NXT Takeover, but he makes easy work of Ariya Daivari with the Dynasty Driver.
The camera catches Dinastia after the match on the ropes, signaling a title across his waist.
A replay of last week's debut of Tyler Bate airs, aligning himself with Dean Malenko, ahead of his match against Tony Nese. Tony Nese (0-1) vs. Tyler Bate (0-1) w/Dean MalenkoTyler Bate makes up for his loss against the Cruiserweight Champion last week, and the guidance of Malenko seems to help, as Bate hits the Tyler Driver and beats Nese.Confirmed for next week is a major match: Sammy Guevara versus TJ Perkins. This big announcement is ahead of the Cruiserweight Champion in action against another NXT superstar. Ace Austin (2-0) vs. Rich Swann (0-0)Before Austin defends the title against Dinastia at NXT Takeover next weekend, he faces NXT superstar Rich Swann and sends a message by putting Swann away with The Fold.
Just like Ace Austin did last week, Dinastia's music interrupts the winning celebration of the champion. Dinastia comes out to the stage, signals the title around his waist, and points toward the champion as 205 Live draws to a close.

>> The Championship Scramble is back in WWE after 10 years. Kevin Owens defends the WWE Championship amongst Baron Corbin, Cody Rhodes, Finn Balor, and reigning United States Champion Bobby Lashley. It's known this was a change over the last week. While several directions were pitched, this is the one that (surprisingly) won. The Scramble wasn't highly touted ten years ago, so it'll be interesting to see if they alter the match concept from Unforgiven 2008.
Creative had to move things around with the absence of Emperor Roman Reigns. It's not the first modifications they've had to make, with Randy Orton also out of action. Both Reigns and Orton were supposed to be big pieces on the SummerSlam card.
>> The Usos competed on SmackDown for a second time in three weeks, and will compete for the WWE Tag Team Championships at SummerSlam. There's rumors going around that the Trios division might be in trouble of going extinct, so this might be an opportunity to bring a tag team division back to Raw.
It's also important to note prior to the leukemia diagnosis, Roman Reigns and The Usos were set to win the Trios Championships before 2018 ended.
>> Edge and Christian's title feud continues to get more personal. With Christian's appearance at Edge's Toronto home, it got intense. However, some verbiage Christian used didn't sit well with USA executives. In edited footage, Christian's "raw dog" comment was taken out, as well as the final line Christian made before entering the home of Edge's mother. It's unclear if there will be further ramifications for this promo airing.
>> Tensions seem to be effecting The Clink early on in their NXT run. Bianca Belair challenges Kairi Sane at NXT Takeover, and while Sane is the favorite to retain, this might set up internal struggles within the group of Belair, Britt Baker, and Sonya Deville.
>> Executives liked the Round Robin tournament that took place over the last month for the inaugural NXT North American Championship. It was touted as something different that could make its way, in some variation, to the main roster.
>> A couple weeks ago, Flash Morgan Webster was scheduled for a match that Mark Andrews would replace him in. According to reports, Webster is having issues with his visa, preventing him from coming back to the United States.
>> Rich Swann is the latest NXT superstar to compete on 205 Live, doing so in a losing effort to Cruiserweight Champion Ace Austin. It's understood that 205 Live will likely use several NXT talents in the coming months to add legitimacy to the brand, along with the deepening pool of NXT talent.

AUGUST 13 2018 ~ MONDAY NIGHT RAW Greensboro, North Carolina Monday Night Raw begins with a tribute to Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. The Anvil passed away earlier today at age 63. Following the tribute and a standing ovation from the crowd, the United States Champion Bobby Lashley begins the show saying he didn't take too kindly to Owens saying he was the best champion on Raw. After this Sunday at SummerSlam, Lashley vows to be the only champion on Raw. Finn Balor heads out with Jordan Devlin and reminds Lashley that he lost to him a couple weeks ago, and didn't even pin Owens last week, so he's not that worthy of being United States Champion, let alone WWE Champion. Balor challenges Lashley for his United States Championship tonight! Cody Rhodes walks out and says if they want to compete for the United States Title, do it at SummerSlam and stay away from the WWE Championship picture. Rhodes calls out Baron Corbin after last week and demands he ride down to the ring for a fight... before things escalate, JBL walks out instead. The GM says he won't let things break down this week into chaos. For tonight, it'll be Cody Rhodes versus Baron Corbin... AND Bobby Lashley will defend his United States Championship against Finn Balor! But with a twist... JBL mentions the winners of those two matches will meet in tonight's main event and determine who earns the advantage of entering the Championship Scramble last. JBL's interrupted by Baron Corbin, who instead of riding his bike, drags an official to the ring. Corbin throws the official in and stares down Cody Rhodes, ready to fight now. Baron Corbin vs. Cody RhodesOne of these men are fighting twice tonight, six nights ahead of their big WWE Championship opportunity. Corbin and Rhodes are giving it all they have and it's a brutal assault as it finishes with Corbin's End of Days being countered with a Cross-Rhodes... and Cody holds on to stand up to hit Cross-Rhodes for a second time and connects. This gives Cody a huge win!
The crowd rises to its feet after Cody Rhodes beats The Lone Wolf and Rhodes will move on to face either Bobby Lashley or Finn Balor later this evening.Michael Cole and Paul Heyman break down tonight's show, including the United States Championship match announced earlier by JBL, Finn Balor challenging Bobby Lashley. Elias Samson and Rusev face Dolph Ziggler and a partner of Ziggler's choosing. Becky Lynch and Rubi Riot come face-to-face with a "no contact" clause ahead of their I Quit match on Sunday. And in preparation for their WWE Tag Team Championships match, we renew a historic rivalry as The Usos face The New Day in friendly competition. Backstage, WWE Champion Kevin Owens runs into JBL's office and takes exception to not having the chance to be the fifth entrant of the WWE Championship Scramble. Owens demands to be fifth and tells JBL to give him that spot. JBL denies, and instead, makes Kevin Owens the first entrant of the match. Owens gets frustrated and he storms out. Matt Hardy vs. Shelton BenjaminThe North Carolina native gets a huge ovation as this throwback to the mid-2000s gets a couple minutes before The Fallen rush into the ring and attack Matt and Shelton, leading to a disqualification.
Viktor orchestrates the attack by Aleister Black, Damian Priest, and Judas until The New Day's music hits and the WWE Trios Champions rush the ring. The two trios teams brawl before Viktor calls off the hounds. The New Day check on both Shelton and Matt before going to the back.
Backstage, Finn Balor stands by with Jordan Devlin who is hyping Balor up for the United States Championship match next, with the opportunity to go to the main event and earn the 5th entrance in the WWE Championship Scramble for SummerSlam. Balor begs Devlin to stay in the back because he wants to do this himself. Bobby Lashley(c) vs. Finn Balor for the United States ChampionshipSix nights before these two wrestle to become WWE Champion in the Championship Scramble, these two are fighting to be United States Champion tonight. And with a bid to the main event on the line, Bobby Lashley's in trouble. Lashley gets dropkicked into the corner and falls in perfect place for the Coup de Grace. Finn Balor, having trouble breathing from the match, scales the top... until the fans gasp and Balor looks to the titantron. WWE Champion Kevin Owens is throwing Devlin around like a ragdoll and finishes him off with a Popup Powerbomb straight onto a crate. The distraction allows Lashley to stand up and throw Balor off the top rope into the ring, hitting his ribs, and gets up to a devastating Spear. The United States Champion covers and retains!
Bobby Lashley's music hits and Lashley grabs his United States Championship, hoisting it with pride, despite the distraction. The main event now is official: Bobby Lashley versus Cody Rhodes. The winner will be the final entrant to the WWE Championship Scramble at SummerSlam.
After the break, Finn Balor struggles to make it to the back to check on Jordan Devlin. Balor's struggling to breathe and the doctors suggest he get checked out as well. Balor looks worried as he has a decision to make. In the ring, Elias Samson is with Scarlett, his tag team partner Rusev and Lana. Elias has the guitar in hand and lets everyone know Dolph Ziggler will pay for his advances towards Scarlett. Elias says infidelity is no joke, unlike Dolph's career. Elias says he can get anyone to team with him, but the result will be the same. It'll be Rusev Crush and Elias Smash! ... Charly Caruso invites her guest Dolph Ziggler into her spot backstage. Caruso asks if Ziggler has picked a partner. Ziggler admits he doesn't have a lot of friends in this business anymore, and he's probably deserved the animosity. Ziggler says they're in Greensboro tonight and had to look to one of his best friends. Ziggler says it was a partner of his choosing, and it didn't have to be a WWE superstar. Ziggler's invited someone who was born in Greensboro, his former tag team partner in FCW, Brad Attitude! Attitude walks into the frame and Ziggler says for one night only, they're back together again. Dolph Ziggler and Brad Attitude head to the ring and Attitude gets a hometown ovation with his family pictured in the front row for his WWE debut. Elias Samson & Rusev w/Scarlett and Lana vs. Dolph Ziggler & Brad AttitudeDolph Ziggler handles most of the reps in the match, even though early on Brad Attitude takes Elias by surprise with a few takedowns. But once Rusev got in against Ziggler, it was a struggle and turned into a 2-on-1 assault. Once Brad Attitude got the hot tag, he and Elias went at it and was looking really good until Scarlett grabs the ankle of Attitude. He looks down at Scarlett and this allows Elias to attack Attitude from behind. Elias tags Rusev and throws Attitude into a heel kick. Rusev locks in The Accolade and Brad Attitude immediately taps out.
Rusev holds it in as his family watches on before Elias Samson finally convinces Rusev to let go. Elias, Scarlett, Rusev, and Lana all stand tall as Dolph Ziggler comes to on the outside, seeing what's happened. Ziggler apologizes to his family before checking on Brad Attitude in the ring.
A pre-recorded sit-down interview of Nikki Bella and Women's Champion Paige airs, conducted by Michael Cole. Paige begins to pat herself on the back for her work in the division, sharing she is a main reason behind the women getting more respect because they are WOMEN now and not divas. Nikki Bella says it wasn't about the division, it's about Paige being jealous of the Bella Twin success. Nikki accuses Paige of trying to slowly move the Bella Twins away and tainting their legacy, which in the end of the day, she'll take the Women's Championship at SummerSlam and only build upon that legacy. Things only get heated when Paige says the only way the Bella legacy can be tainted is if Brie gets pregnant and Nikki doesn't. This sets Nikki off and Michael Cole calls security to break the two up... six nights before their clash at SummerSlam! Michael Cole and Paul Heyman recap what happened earlier and says things got intense, but another intense situation is Rubi Riot and Becky Lynch that has escalated to an I Quit match this Sunday at SummerSlam. Cole reminds of the "no contact" clause, so if there's a fight, the match will be canceled and possible suspensions. Becky Lynch goes in first and mentions she's surprised Rubi Riot has agreed to come tonight because of what she did to her arm last week. Becky promises she won't touch Rubi Riot tonight, because her goal this Sunday, is to end "Paige lite" once and for all. Rubi Riot comes out in a sling and Becky laughs. Rubi calls Becky a coward for attacking her last week, disregarding she was the one to actually interfere in Becky's match. Riot tells Lynch that if she makes it this Sunday, it'll be the end of Becky's career. Rubi tries convincing Becky this is her golden opportunity, and she sniffs blood in the water. Rubi gets really close to whisper in Becky's ear, saying Becky could end Rubi Riot's career right now and the doctors say any more damage to teh arm would end it. Rubi advises Becky to not give her time to heal... and as Becky hears the devil on her shoulder, Becky simply says "I'll kick your ass Sunday" and Becky Lynch walks off as Rubi Riot gets pissed she wouldn't push her over the edge... as we go to commercial. The New Day come out and before their tag team match, they wish well to Matt Hardy and Shelton Benjamin. They send a message to The Fallen that they have their attention and this Sunday, they'll retain the WWE Trios Championships against The Fallen and will avenge them for what happened earlier tonight. The New Day w/Kofi Kingston vs. The UsosXavier Woods demands the nod over Kofi Kingston because he's wanting to show The Fallen what they've done, but The Usos take advantage of the emotional Xavier Woods. And on the titantron, The Fallen have Matt Hardy tied up as Matt's wrists hang from a rope. The Fallen are taking lashes to Matt Hardy as The New Day all three rush to the back. The Usos follow and the official has no choice but to call this a double count-out, or a no contest.
After a commercial break, The New Day and The Usos are trying to find where The Fallen are, but are having no luck as they try saving Matt Hardy. Michael Cole and Paul Heyman mention the SummerSlam card, that have added the WWE Trios Championship match. Plus, Dolph Ziggler faces Elias Samson on the Kickoff show. Previewing the Raw side of matches, they also have: Becky Lynch vs. Rubi Riot in an "I Quit" match Paige defends the Women's Championship against Nikki Bella Kevin Owens defends the WWE Championship against Corbin, Rhodes, Balor, and Lashley in a Scramble Match And notably on the SmackDown side: The Usos challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships against The Revival and champions Depths of Despair in TLC Edge returns to the ring, challenging Christian for the WWE Universal Championship But up next, Kevin Owens heads to join Michael Cole and Paul Heyman for the main event to see who is the fifth entrant for the WWE Championship Scramble this Sunday. Bobby Lashley vs. Cody Rhodes in a non-title match Lashley and Rhodes are going at it as Kevin Owens complains the entire time about entering first rather than fifth, saying he should be in this. Michael Cole also provides an update on Finn Balor, who's feared to have broken his ribs and is at the hospital for further evaluation. The match starts to draw to a close as Lashley looks ready for the Spear, but Rhodes sidesteps and Lashley slams his shoulder in the corner. Lashley stumbles back and Rhodes tries the Disaster Kick, but gets caught in a Full Nelson hold. Rhodes fights it best he can before Cody slowly fades and the official rings the bell.
Fans boo as Bobby Lashley gets his hand raised in victory and after his count-out victory over Kevin Owens last week, has beaten three of his four opponents ahead of this Sunday. Lashley points to the commentary table and signals he'll be a double champion after this Sunday and Raw goes off the air.

AUGUST 14 2018 ~ TUESDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN! Greenville, South Carolina SmackDown begins by Intercontinental Champion Jason Jordan speaking briefly about his title defense against Neville this Sunday at SummerSlam. Jordan says classic title matches have happened at SummerSlam, but before he can list them, Jinder Mahal interrupts. Mahal says his return opportunity was ruined last week and wants to make a statement that this the Modern Day Maharaja era and challenges Jason Jordan to a match next! Jason Jordan vs. Jinder Mahal in a non-title matchIt's not for the championship, but Jordan and Mahal are kicking off SmackDown only for Jason Jordan to get attacked by Neville!
Neville hammers in on Jordan and tries locking in Rings of Saturn, but Jordan eludes and wrestles Neville into a front chancery and begins throwing nasty knees into Neville before the challenger can dip. Jason Jordan chases Neville away.
Still in the ring, Jinder Mahal gets on the microphone upset about his return opportunity being ruined but Dean Ambrose's music hits. The Lunatic Fringe heads to the ring remorseful and he apologizes. He extends a hand, acknowledging the Modern Day Maharaja era, only to lure him in for a Dirty Deeds and a pop from the crowd!
Dean Ambrose calls for Seth Rollins to man up to his challenge last week but The Architect doesn't emerge. Instead, it's Bray Wyatt leading Erick Rowan out. Wyatt demands Rowan take out Ambrose, and Rowan reluctantly goes in. It's about 50-50 as Wyatt yells at Rowan to take out the inaugural WWE Universal Champion, but Ambrose starts getting steam and hits a Dirty Deeds! Ambrose hits Dirty Deeds and immediately gets hit in the back with a steel chair, symbolic of Seth's turn on The Shield in 2014. Rollins gets a few more shots to the back in before putting the chair down and hitting the Curb Stomp on the chair! Rollins stands tall over his opponent, leaving the question of the condition of Dean Ambrose heading into Sunday. Tom Phillips and Corey Graves break down the card for tonight's show, including The Revival's Dash Wilder fighting Sheamus ahead of The Revival wrestling a triple threat TLC Match this Sunday. Charlotte and Sasha Banks meeting face-to-face ahead of their title match. But most notably, after Christian's disgraceful actions last week, Christian and Edge have agreed to meet for a contract signing tonight with the note: no physical contact, or the match will be called off. But up next is an edition of MizTV. The Miz welcomes everyone to MizTV and introduces his guest, someone he's known for the longest time, but never saw that intensity from this man... Daniel Bryan. The Miz compliments Bryan, but Bryan just voices his frustrations with the dynamic of Sami Zayn and Boogeyman, because both Miz and Bryan agree there's clearly something going on. The Miz decides to lay an offer up. This Sunday, Miz and Bryan team up to face the "BoogeyZAYN" team. Daniel Bryan's against the idea of teaming with The Miz when Sami Zayn comes out. Zayn swears there's nothing going on and when Bryan asks why Zayn threw the towel in, things get intense, when Zayn says he has compassion. Zayn told Bryan he went too far, and then Bryan shouts down Sami's throat and ACCEPTS the match! Daniel Bryan and The Miz team up this Sunday? WOW! The unlikeliest of allies in Brooklyn. Daniel Bryan vs. Sami ZaynThe Miz joins Phillips and Graves at commentary for this match, excited for the newfound attitude of Daniel Bryan and as he fights Sami Zayn, the BOOGEYMAN appears and spooks The Miz away from the commentary team. The Miz runs into the ring and hides behind Daniel Bryan, as Bryan isn't up for the nonsense and pushes The Miz away and gets hit with a Helluva Kick! The Miz sees Boogeyman approaching and runs through the crowd as Zayn covers Daniel Bryan.
Sami Zayn gets up to see The Boogeyman staring through the crowd as The Miz is long gone. Boogeyman looks back at Sami Zayn and Zayn isn't sure what to think, but he rolls out of the ring and scatters to the back away from his partner this Sunday.
Renee Young asks The Revival about the match announcement of their title opportunity. Scott Dawson says they're unhappy with two things: The Usos being involved in this match and it being a TLC match. Dawson said Edge and Christian won the first two triple threat tag TLC matches and now they're bitter enemies, so it doesn't sit well with them, considering they'll be victorious this time around. Wilder says they are glad they'll be WWE Tag Team Champions at this time next week for a third time, and he plans to show Sheamus why later today. Matrons Champion Charlotte starts in the ring to talk about the long history she's had with her challenger this Sunday, Sasha Banks. The crowd chants for Tessa Blanchard, as Charlotte declares she's done with Tessa. Charlotte's interrupted by her challenger Sasha Banks, who compares herself as the underdog and says she only held that title for 35 days and it's time to have a much lengthier reign. Both are interrupted by Tessa Blanchard and the crowd pops. Tessa brings the announcement, since Sasha was the special guest referee at WrestleMania for her title match, she's been named the referee for this Sunday's match. Banks and Charlotte aren't sure what to think but the fans love this announcement! Carmella vs. Tessa Blanchard After Tessa drops the big bombshell, she has a challenge against Carmella. With Charlotte and Sasha looking on from opposite sides, Tessa hits Magnum! Tessa covers Carmella, but Charlotte pulls the official out and lays him out with a forearm. The fans boo as Charlotte rips the referee shirt off the official and Sasha comes over. Sasha hits a codebreaker on the outside on the champion! Not seeing any official, Sasha takes the loose shirt and puts it on as she slides in. Tessa, not sure what to do, locks in the Figure 4 and Carmella has no choice but to tap.
Sasha Banks rings the bell and raises the hand of Tessa Blanchard. Charlotte comes in and floors Sasha from behind with a cheap shot and starts kicking at her challenger before Tessa pushes the champion off. Charlotte and Tessa stare down before Tessa tells Charlotte to save it for Sunday as the champion obliges and leaves the ring.
Dean Ambrose is in the trainers room and Renee Young comes by to get an update on Ambrose. Ambrose insists he's fine but Seth Rollins won't be. Kurt Angle walks in and asks if they need to postpone the match and Ambrose adamantly denies it. Ambrose says he wants to put an end to Seth Rollins this Sunday, so either he keeps the match, or Angle will be the one split open on the concrete. Angle reminds Ambrose who he's talking to, but the match is still on at SummerSlam if he can get cleared. Michael Bennett comes out with Maria and the self-proclaimed "Silver Medalist" is excited to get on a winning streak on SmackDown, because while this year he's not on SummerSlam, he intends to be the main event of next year's show. Answering the toll is BIG SHOW! Big Show's is scheduled to make several media appearances this week for SummerSlam, and now he's here on SmackDown. Big Show vs. Michael Bennett w/MariaDo you need to know how this went? Big Show decimates Michael Bennett and after tossing the self-proclaimed Silver Medalist around the ring, Big Show finishes Bennett off with a chokeslam to extend the losing skid.
A video package plays for Edge and Christian as they contract signing looms, showing the best friends turning to bitter enemies the last few weeks. Kurt Angle's back in his office and approaches Zelina Vega from NXT. Angle asks what he can do for her, when Zelina mentions that her client Andrade "Cien" Almas is competing this weekend at NXT Takeover and while his rights are exclusive to SmackDown, Angle needs to watch closely this Saturday and considering calling up Andrade to the main roster "very soon." Zelina calls Andrade a star already, as opposed to a star in the making, and Angle nods saying he'll keep an eye out. Dash Wilder w/Scott Dawson vs. SheamusSheamus has gotten familiar with 2-against-1 odds recently with his run-ins with the Maple Leaf Mafia. Sheamus fights but the underhanded and dirty tricks by The Revival are top notch. It isn't until Sheamus looks to be getting ready for a Brogue Kick that Dawson tackles him from the side and causes a disqualification.
As the official calls for the bell, The Revival continue tackling Sheamus. The WWE Tag Team Champions, Akam and Rezar, run down to attack The Revival. Tye Dillinger and Tyler Breeze run down and join in on the attack, making it 4-on-3 and the odds have caught up to the Depths of Despair... until Cesaro's music hits. Cesaro runs in with a steel chair and as he slides in and starts swinging, everyone dips. The Revival and Maple Leaf Mafia dip when Cesaro and Sheamus shake hands, to the dismay of everyone!
After a commercial break, Kurt Angle stops Cesaro and Sheamus. Angle realizes the Maple Leaf Mafia are a thorn in their sides and wants to see if they'll put their differences aside for a tag match this Sunday. Cesaro and Sheamus hesitate before Cesaro's the first to agree, and then Sheamus obliges. It's official for this Sunday! Cesaro and Sheamus team up to wrestle Maple Leaf Mafia. Tom Phillips and Corey Graves get excited for this Sunday's event for SummerSlam and more-so for the contract signing to happen up next between Edge and WWE Universal Champion Christian. The ring is set up and out comes Jeff Hardy! Jeff Hardy gets the crowd hype. Jeff Hardy: "CREATURES! SummerSlam is this Sunday, Brooklyn, New York. Kurt came to me earlier today and asked I be the enforcer of this contract signing. The WWE Universal Championship is on the line this Sunday, two guys I know very well. Christian is the champion but Edge has his first match in more than seven years."Christian heads out before he's introduced and gets on the microphone, sitting down and propping the title on the table. Christian: "Jeff, get over yourself. You're not out here to enforce anything. You're out here to latch onto my success. 'The Charismatic Enigma' Jeff Hardy isn't on the second-biggest event of the year, 'Captain Charisma' and WWE Universal Champion Christian is. I'm on the second-biggest event of the year because I won at the biggest event of the year, WrestleMania. I forced Kurt Angle, our noble general manager, into retirement. You lost to a kid under 200 pounds.
"You're out here to keep yourself relevant, to get yourself on television. You're out here latching on my success, just like Edge. You're out here to try to keep me in a shadow, just like Edge. But if you are genuinely interested in this match Sunday, I have some pull. I can get you tickets to wh-Jeff Hardy: " Shut the HELL UP!"
Fans roar for Jeff Hardy. Jeff Hardy: "I'm so sick of you man. What happened? You're so bitter. You got everything you've ever wanted. You're the WWE Universal Champion. You're the main event of SummerSlam. You're making a lot of money. But why are you being such an ass? "This isn't about me. This is about you and your opponent at SummerSlam, everyone welcome the Rated-R Superstar.. EDGE!"Edge walks out to a huge roar from the crowd and after playing to the crowd and hugging Jeff Hardy, takes his seat across from Christian.Christian: "Before we go any further, I just want to remind everyone here tonight. The fans, Tom Phillips, 'Mr. Enforcer,' and my opponent this Sunday, good ole Adam. If I am touched, with even a finger, SummerSlam is left without a main event. Your WWE Universal Champion will not compete. And Adam, your long-awaited return to the ring is void. It's canceled and none of the Brooklyn fans will EVER forgive you."Edge can't help but laugh. Jeff Hardy: "He has a point, Edge. That's why I'm here. If there's an-Christian: "Shut up Jeff!"Jeff looks down with disdain at Christian as the fans boo. Christian: "Adam, you haven't been touched in more than seven years. You haven't taken a bump on this mat, on the concrete floor. You haven't been through a table. You haven't had your limbs contorted in unnatural ways. And you're glass. Your neck is glass. But this championship means everything to me. This is why I want pen to paper. I don't need you, your wife, your mother suing me for what I do to you this Sunday. I'm held harmless once you sign this contract. And I'm taking any means necessary to leave Brooklyn with MY WWE Universal Championship."Edge looks aside and nods before picking a microphone up for the first time and the fans cheering. Edge: "So if we're making this personal, I can call you Jay, right? This isn't Edge and Christian anymore, right? This is Adam and Jay. This isn't just about the championship, right? This isn't just about my first match in seven years, right?"You decided to make this personal, didn't you? You were the one to mention Beth. You were the one to mention my girls. You were the one to make the trip to my mother's home. The same mother who took you in like her own. The same mother who cooked you many meals, showed up to the ballgames, and did all the things as if you were her child and you were my brother. "Jay, you were my brother. This was already personal because of what Sunday means to me. Sunday signifies seven years of missed time. Seven years of hard work to get back here. I didn't take 'no' as an answer. I didn't take 'never again' as an answer. This is a very personal weekend. It's going to be hard. Yes, the bumps, the cracks, the agony. But that's not the hard part. I LOVE that part of this job. What's hard is the emotions that will come up. It's going to be an emotionally heavy evening. And don't worry, I'm not going to touch you tonight. But I'm going to make you cry this Sunday, and I'm taking your championship."Christian: "You say all that now. And it wasn't I who made this personal, Adam. You did. What did you tell me seven years ago? What did you say? Do you remember?"
Edge is silent and Jeff is taken aback. Christian: "Seven years ago, when your neck couldn't handle the pressure of being the guy, you came to me and said: this is yours now. Your body quit and you quit on this business. I was the next World Heavyweight Champion and had the Summer of Captain Charisma. You told me this was my show, my moment, my time. In those seven years, I've been here. I've been outworking everyone here and I'll be damned if I let you go back on your word. And I'll be damned if I let someone who hasn't executed one headlock in seven years take that from me."
Edge takes a moment for himself before putting the microphone to his mouth. Edge: "You're right, I did. I said it was yours. You did win the World Heavyweight Championship, not once, but twice that summer. This was your show. This was your time. But ever since you lost to Randy back at SummerSlam seven years ago, up until now, you haven't done much else. What you have done is whine. You whined about Randy, you whined about Kurt Angle, you whined about me. Why? Because you feel threatened... and you should.
"When we broke into this business as The Brood, we were a team. We had each other. When we were Edge and Christian, we revolutionized this industry. It's no mistake that this Sunday, there's a triple threat TLC Match. We did that. He *pointing to Jeff* did that. Matt, Bubba, D-Von. And 18 years after we made history, it gets repeated this Sunday by some of the best tag teams today. The Usos, Depths of Despair, The Revival. We paved the way. We walked so those six guys could run.
"But when I made it big in 2005, 2006, you were cast aside. They picked who they wanted, and it wasn't you. You ran away and came back. When you did, I was untouchable. I was the Rated-R Superstar and you were still Marty Jannetty. The only way you did anything in this business is when I stepped away. I gave you the keys and I said run with it. That lasted, what? Three, four months?
"Fast forward to this year. At 44 years old, you finally figured it out. You get your only big singles win of your career at WrestleMania. You become WWE Universal Champion a month after WrestleMania. Sound familiar? And this Sunday you face the biggest test of your career. And just like seven years ago when you lost the title at SummerSlam and became irrelevant, the same happens this Sunday.
"Irrelevance scares you. Obscurity scares you. This Sunday scares you, because you've seen this movie before. I walk into Brooklyn as a man determined to get back everything he lost seven years ago. I walk out as WWE Universal Champion, proving they made the right decision ten-plus years ago. I'll leave 'The Rated-R Superstar' and the face of this show. You'll leave Jay Reso."
Edge slams the microphone down and signs the contract, sliding the contract aggressively towards Christian. Christian takes it all in as Edge stands up and goes to walk out of the ring before he gets to the ropes and Christian speaks. Christian: "That's very fitting Adam. You're walking out of this ring a little early, eh? Like you walked out on these fans seven years too early?
"How long are you back for? You'll be here this Sunday, but as soon as I beat you, that's as quickly as you'll run off. You know this. Vince likes to bring the legends back. They'll lose to build their current stars and never be seen again. That's the narrative this time around. You're the washed-up legend living off his old fame and glory. I'm the current star, the current WWE Universal Champion, and I'm here for the long haul... unlike this guy."
Christian stands up and gets next to Jeff Hardy. Christian: "See, the moment he lands in Brooklyn this weekend, he'll find a nice bar he likes and will send his drowning career into a downward spiral."
Jeff turns and shoves Christian before the champion kicks Jeff Hardy below the belt, flooring the contract signing enforcer. Edge quickly comes up. Christian: "Not so fast, Adam. Remember, you touch me and you're staying home this weekend."Christian grabs the chair from his seat and exits the ring. Christian then snags Jeff Hardy under the bottom rope and smashes Hardy in the back with a chair. Edge looks on from the ring as Christian takes a few more shots to a grounded Hardy. Edge: "Jay, you stupid son of a *****. Sign this contract!"Edge throws the contract and pen down to the ground and Christian smirks. Christian gets an additional microphone from the ringside crew. Christian: "Be careful. You wouldn't want to lose your temper and ruin your big moment this Sunday."
Christian picks up his contract. Christian: "I'll sign this when I'm good and ready. But for now, let me give you an up-close preview to how I'll send you off this Sunday at SummerSlam."Christian lays in a few more shots before placing the chair underneath Jeff Hardy, symbolic of Edge and Christian's move the "con-chair-to." Christian goes back to get a second steel chair and by the time he gets back to Jeff Hardy, security have swarmed ringside to assure Christian doesn't get any closer. Christian holds the chair up and says he'll see Edge at SummerSlam, grabbing his title and walking away. Edge: "Listen here, you prick. Come this Sunday with that contract signed. I'm not being held responsible for what I do at SummerSlam. I'll be responsible for carrying this show on my back just like I was responsible for carrying you your entire career. It's my first match in seven years, but I'm certain to make it the last of your career!"Edge throws the microphone down and poses on the turnbuckle, and Christian raises his title up high, as SmackDown goes off the air.

NXT Updates (Wednesday, August 15, 2018):
Ahead of their NXT North American Championship match this Saturday, Aldis and Ciampa had singles matches against the runner-ups in the opposite pool. Tommaso Ciampa outlasted "Filthy" Tom Lawlor and finished him off with the Project Ciampa. Later on, Nick Aldis faced Dijak and thanks to Ciampa's distraction, Aldis lost and got hit with the Feast Your Eyes. After the match, Ciampa pounces on Aldis and hits a Project Ciampa on the exposed concrete floor of Full Sail.
Zelina Vega takes time to announce her client Andrade "Cien" Almas will defeat Keith Lee this Saturday and move on to the main roster. Keith Lee responds by making this a little interesting, saying if he wins, he takes Andrade's spot on their prospect list. Later in the show, William Regal is frantically on the phone and finds out Kurt Angle agrees to make the stipulation official.
The Clink seem to have an united front ahead of supporting Bianca Belair's title opportunity at NXT Takeover this Saturday. Britt Baker put it upon herself to have a match with Kairi Sane ahead of her defense, and the match ends with The Clink ganging up on Sane. A brawl breaks out as Chelsea Green and Ember Moon run out, and during this chaos, Belair accidentally knocks out Baker and turns into an Eclipse, followed by a InSane Elbow.
Throughout the evening, The Industry have matches to settle. After drawing names, Tevita Loa faces Pete Dunne, Tama Tonga faces Cedric Alexander, and Adam Cole faces Moose. Dunne put Loa away with the Bitter End, Alexander's Lumbar Check on Tonga was countered into a backslide pinfall, and Adam Cole faces Moose in the main event. Adam Cole avoids the Go 2 Hell and instead chops Moose down to a knee and hits the Last Shot to win a few nights ahead of the title defense against Dunne.

AUGUST 16 2018 205 Live kicks off with the announcement Ace Austin continues his conquest over NXT talent ahead of his title defense at NXT Takeover on Saturday. Ace faces Steve Marx later this evening. But right now Dinastia, the man who challenges Austin this Saturday, competes against Raul Mendoza. Dinastia (2-0) vs. Raul Mendoza (0-1)Mendoza falls to the Dynasty Driver that puts NXT's Dinastia at 3-0 on 205 Live heading into Saturday.
After the match, Ace Austin decides to step out to the ramp. The reigning Cruiserweight Champion simply tells Dinastia that he's not wanting to join NXT, a developmental brand. Ace Austin says he's the face of 205 Live and is going Saturday to show 205 Live is the big brand and NXT is the thing of the past. Austin says he always has an "ace" up his sleeve and he'll need to watch closely later tonight against another wrestler not cutting it in NXT.
Vic Joseph and The Brian Kendrick acknowledge Ace Austin's main event against Steve Marx, as well as the match between Sammy Guevara and TJ Perkins later this evening. Kushida (1-0) vs. Swerve Strickland (0-1) A respectful back and forth ends with Swerve hitting a Storm Cradle Driver and pinning Kushida, shaking hands with him afterwards in a sign of sportsmanship. For the fourth week, a vignette airs for El Hijo del Fantasma. Fantasma brings up how he was blackballed in the industry, something he mentioned last week, and with a second chance at 205 Live, he believes there's new beginnings. He can be whoever he wants to be and will find freedom. He's the author of his own story. Flip Gordon (2-0) vs. Rohit Raju (0-2)Following their involvement in the six-man tag last week, Gordon and Raju go head-to-head and their fortunes continue. Flip hits the Star Spangled Stunner to advance to 3-0.
Backstage, Marty Scurll and Kip Sabian approach Mansoor and Mustafa Ali. They take exception to not even being involved in the decision last week, so they need to settle their differences 1-on-1: starting with Kip Sabian versus Mansoor next week. Mansoor accepts. Sammy Guevara (1-0) vs. TJ Perkins (1-0)This match doesn't disappoint and Guevara can't escape the TPJ Clutch and taps out.
The fans decide to give these two a standing ovation and we're about to see another handshake like earlier tonight, but Guevara slaps TJ Perkins' hand away and storms off upset.
Dean Malenko approaches Chavo Guerrero, taking issue with Tyler Bate not being on the card tonight. Chavo decides to put Bate in a match against Trey Miguel, the runner-up of this year's Cruiserweight Classic. Also confirmed for next week is Mansoor one-on-one with Kip Sabian. Ace Austin (3-0) vs. Steve Marx (0-0)Ace Austin continues his conquest of NXT talent ahead of his title defense at NXT Takeover this Saturday against NXT's Dinastia. Ace finishes Marx off the same with The Fold.
After the match, Ace Austin hears an unfamiliar theme... it's William Regal! Regal, the NXT General Manager, is on 205 Live. Regal steps out with Dinastia and tells Ace Austin that the games end this Saturday and the Cruiserweight Championship will be carried with honor by the black-and-gold brand's Dinastia.

>> Reports suggest WWE officials are internally split on major decisions for both NXT Takeover and SummerSlam this weekend. It's unsure what matches they've yet to decide on, but they are said to be "high profile" matchups this weekend. With the changes to the SummerSlam card due to Emperor Roman Reigns being diagnosed with leukemia, one could wonder if they're undecided about the Championship Scramble match.
>> A name not familiar with the WWE Universe appeared and debuted on Raw: Brad Attitude. It's understood Attitude has not signed a WWE contract at this time, and with the show in North Carolina, he is a NC native and independent wrestler in the area. Brad is the real-life best friend of Dolph Ziggler, who he teamed with on Raw as they did in FCW together.
>> John Cena is not on the card for this weekend's SummerSlam. This makes two SummerSlam shows in the last three years (2016 & 2018) that Cena has been left off the card. There's no indication as to why he is currently off the show.
>> Though John Cena might not appear at SummerSlam, this hasn't ruled out any surprises this weekend, at NXT Takeover or SummerSlam.
>> There are rumors of Keith Lee taking Andrade's spot as a SmackDown prospect, but these are simply rumors and not confirmed. Andrade "Cien" Almas has been considered for a main roster call-up by the end of 2018.
>> Luke Harper is expected to return in the near future repackaged. With the present dysfunction on SmackDown between Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan, it could mean a brand switch for the former Wyatt Family member.
>> WWE is discussing bringing back a show like WWE Main Event or WWE Superstars to give low-card and NXT talent a chance to air matches on the WWE Network. They already compete in dark matches before Raw and SmackDown weekly, but they want an avenue to have them gain popularity and have more exposure. With Mondays through Thursdays already booked with action on cable or the Network, it's unclear where the matches will air.

Regal says not so fast... because Andrade lost via disqualification, the stipulation remains the same. Andrade's lost his rights to SmackDown and Keith Lee's rights are now the sole property of SmackDown. Zelina and Andrade flip before they storm out of the office and Andrade tells Zelina to fix this.

Aldis stumbles out and gets hit with Project Ciampa for the final blow.
The confetti falls for Tommaso Ciampa as he's handed the NXT North American Championship, the first of its history. Aldis struggles to leave the ring so he requires medical assistance, leaving Ciampa more time to celebrate his victory. As he celebrates, a theme song hits... it's Wardlow!
