JUNE 12 2018 ~ TUESDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN!
SmackDown starts with WWE Universal Champion Christian informing fans Dean Ambrose is still not cleared for competition, therefore won't be getting a title match tonight nor will he be at the arena this evening. Christian brings up the theory Ambrose is just all talk and no action before Cesaro interrupts. Cesaro says if the champion hadn't weaseled his way out, he would've lost to the Swiss Superman last week. Cesaro issues a rematch and Christian laughs before Kurt Angle's music hits. The General Manager steps out to the stage announcing Christian versus Cesaro in a rematch later tonight. Neville(c) vs. Jeff Hardy for the Intercontinental ChampionshipNeville dominated this match but Hardy kept fighting off Neville and fighting for a chance to win the title for a sixth time of his career. Hardy gets going and Neville tries locking in the Rings of Saturn, but Hardy pushes off to a pin attempt and Neville gets out of that predicament quickly. Hardy creates a flurry of offense and hits a Twist of Fate! The crowd rises as Hardy is ready to hit a Swanton Bomb and he goes to the apron before Breeze pops up on the apron. Hardy punches Breeze off but gets clipped from behind by Tye Dillinger, hitting the apron hard and falling to the ground, causing for the bell.
Tye Dillinger stomps away at Jeff Hardy on the outside as Breeze recovers and they throw Hardy into the ring post and then back in the ring. Neville doesn't know what to do, so he walks away before Dillinger picks Hardy up and throws him into a Beauty Shot by Breeze. Dillinger and Breeze stand tall together after ruining this Intercontinental Championship match.Christian barges into Kurt Angle's office upset about the match made tonight. Angle smirks and says he forgot to add a stipulation: it's no disqualification. Angle says he'll have a winner by the end of the show. Tessa Blanchard vs. Nikki Cross in a non-title matchAs a non-title rematch from No Mercy, Blanchard double-downed on proving who was better by finishing Cross off with Magnum.
After the match concluded, Tessa's music was cut in favor of Charlotte's. Charlotte heads to the ring, confronting Blanchard, and points to the title on Tessa's shoulder. Blanchard looks out to the crowd before nodding when Bayley's music interrupts. Bayley uses the microphone to say she is being overlooked, and after a good showing against Peyton Royce last week, she has just as much of a claim to the title match as anyone else. Tessa backs up as Charlotte gets in Bayley's face and The Queen snatches the mic from her before telling her to prove it against her right now. Bayley doesn't waste any time, being close enough to wrap her arms around Charlotte and hitting a Bayley-to-Belly where the momentum rolls Charlotte out of the ring. Charlotte collects herself as we have a match starting right now.Bayley vs. Charlotte in a #1 Contender's MatchFrom the office of Kurt Angle it's confirmed this match will determine the #1 contender for Tessa's title at the Great American Bash next month, so Blanchard joined the commentary team in the press box. Bayley and Charlotte battle for nearly twenty minutes tonight and it's several near falls, including Charlotte barely kicking out of the Bayley-to-Belly on instinct alone. But it's Bayley going for a third of the night, but Charlotte creates space and delivers a big boot, followed with a Natural Selection and pins Charlotte in the ring.
Tessa Blanchard looks down at her new challenger as Charlotte points up to the press box and signals a title around her waist with the first match for the Great American Bash confirmed.
Bray Wyatt airs another vignette with Erick Rowan as Rowan drags coffins through the woods. The time lapse shows Rowan transporting these coffins by himself and all into a pile. Wyatt says he's creating a monster that will get rid of the dead weight, and those we have no use for, can be set to the flames. Rowan dowses the coffins in gasoline and Wyatt tosses a lit match onto the pile as we watch the burn pile of coffins go up in flames. Daniel Bryan vs. Jason JordanBryan and Jordan have a mat classic this match and they go toe-to-toe for the most part. However, the match ends with Bryan trapping Jordan in a Yes Lock and after Jordan tries to counter into a pin, Bryan adjusts and executes a crucifix pin that Jordan barely gets out of. Jordan then goes for a lariat that is ducked and Bryan bounces back from the ropes with a Knee-Plus! Bryan hooks the leg and beats Jordan.
As Daniel Bryan celebrates he turns around and sees Jordan on a knee. The music cuts and Bryan helps Jason Jordan to his feet and after a moment, Jordan accepts Bryan's handshake in the ring and they embrace with a hug as Jordan goes to raise Bryan's hand, but Bryan defers and raises Jordan's hand instead.
Renee Young catches Tyler Breeze and Tye Dillinger backstage, trying to get answers for their attack on Jeff Hardy earlier tonight. Dillinger answers that on Sunday, the better tag team didn't win, but they can't do anything about that. Breeze says he and Dillinger make a good team, and they're going to be sticking to it. They're both named Tyler (Tye corrects him that it's Tye) and they're both from Canada, they despise the United States, and most of all, they despise Jeff Hardy. Dillinger says he forgot they're two of the best young talents in WWE today. Dillinger says the message was sent to the entire locker room tonight. Carmella vs. Peyton RoyceAfter Peyton Royce's impressive performance against Bayley last week, she falls to the Code of Silence this week against Carmella.
Jason Jordan gets several handshakes from people in the back, and his opponent from earlier Daniel Bryan approaches him. Bryan says he wrestled Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 33 in a dream match, and while he came away from it with a win, he knew he had survived in a past versus present match. Bryan tells Jordan he sees a lot of potential in him, and he's the future of the business. Kurt Angle then heads up and shakes Jason Jordan's hand and tells him he went toe-to-toe with one of the best of today. Angle says he can keep the momentum going next week against the man in the main event tonight, Cesaro. Jordan takes a deep breath when Angle and Bryan make him aware he's more than capable and wish him luck. Advertised for next week is the match just made for next week, Jason Jordan going one-on-one with Cesaro. Plus, Tye Dillinger and Tyler Breeze issue an open challenge. Christian vs. Cesaro in a non-title No Disqualification matchChristian got himself into a mess as Cesaro was going to town on Christian, who can't run from Cesaro. Cesaro even swings Christian outside the ring and stepped over and hit Christian on the side of the steps. Cesaro had a Sharpshooter in the center of the ring on Christian, who managed to climb over to the ropes, but there's no rope break so Cesaro continued holding on until Christian crawled out of the ring, breaking the hold. Cesaro takes a breath and throws Christian into the barricade before grabbing him and throwing him back in the ring. Cesaro does another swing before dropping Christian and cracking his neck. Cesaro gets ready before he instinctively turns and gets a Brogue Kick by Sheamus! Sheamus hovers over Cesaro before picking Cesaro up and hitting the High Cross, landing Cesaro right next to the WWE Universal Champion who just crawls and lays an arm over Cesaro and this counts three.
Christian's music hits as Sheamus taunts Cesaro from above and the Celtic Warrior sweeps Cesaro to the edge of the ring and to the floor before leaving. The WWE Universal Champion stands to his feet and gets his title, raising it high in the air before he's interrupted by Dean Ambrose on the titantron. Ambrose tells Christian he feels just fine, and he goes to the doctors this Friday and expects to be cleared. Ambrose says whether or not, he'll see Christian next week for the WWE Universal Championship. Christian shakes his head, but Ambrose adds if he doesn't see him sooner. Christian squints before the crowd pops and Ambrose slides in underneath! Ambrose turns Christian over and drops him with the Dirty Deeds! Ambrose stands up and gets the crowd riled up before picking the title belt up and hanging it high as SmackDown goes off the air.

NXT Updates (Wednesday):
Tommaso Ciampa wins the opener against Kona Reeves with a Psycho Kutter.
Tama Tonga comes to the ring to announce that The Tolutasi is dead. He says he tried elevating Ku Mahana and Kaluka Maiava to his level, but realized he has been hindering his own career, and won't any longer. Austin Aries submits Jorge Castro with the Last Chancery.
Lacey Evans battled Lakyn Machisma tonight, but before a decision was made, The Clink came out and attacked both women, laying them out. As they slide in, The Clink slides out and says they'll fight another day.

JUNE 18 2018 ~ MONDAY NIGHT RAW Raw kicks off tonight with Michael Cole and Paul Heyman hyping this Sunday's Extreme Rules PPV! But up first, two men a part of the Elimination Chamber compete in singles action to kick off Raw. Cody Rhodes vs. KaneTwo men looking to become #1 contender for the WWE Championship the hard way inside the Elimination Chamber, are trying to gain momentum tonight headed in. Kane still shows he has some left in the tank, but Cody is performing at another level. Cody misses a Disaster Kick and is caught with a Chokeslam! Kane makes the cover and Cody kicks out. Kane throws a fit before deciding to rub his thumb across his throat signaling the end. An RKO outta nowhere! Orton turns Kane around and hits the RKO, calling for the bell.
As Orton looks down, here comes Finn Balor who goes toe-to-toe brawling Orton until he hits a Slingblade and hits a corner dropkick! Balor hypes the crowd before he is hit with a Spear by Emperor Roman Reigns! Reigns flexes before Baron Corbin's music hits and Corbin rides down in a motorcycle, parking at the bottom. Corbin slides inside and exchanges fists with Reigns before getting the better hand and trying to hit an End of Days, but Reigns avoids it and slides out of the ring but Kane is back up and hits a Chokeslam on Corbin! Kane has no time to recover before Cody pulls Kane back and hits a Cross-Rhodes! Rhodes looks out at the wasteland that is the six men competing in the Elimination Chamber this Sunday.
After a commercial break, Charly Caruso finds JBL, Raw's General Manager, storming the hall. JBL says that will not be how things end tonight. JBL says if they're power hungry, they can compete in a six-man tag team match later tonight. Cody Rhodes, Finn Balor, and Baron Corbin up against Kane, Randy Orton, and Emperor Roman Reigns. Just like that, the main event is set! Carlito comes to the ring and shows clips of the main event last week, pinning the WWE Champion Kevin Owens. Carlito says Owens is 0-1 as the reigning WWE Champion, and considering he got there with cashing in on a helpless Dean Ambrose, he might be the weakest champion in history. Kevin Owens comes out to respond, calling BS, and counters with saying Carlito might be the weakest challenger in history instead. Owens claims Carlito had all the hype in 2005, but fizzled out quick. Owens reminds Carlito this is 2018 and it's the Prizefighter Era. Carlito tells Owens that his reign as champion will be just a faded memory no one will talk about in ten years, except when they mention Carlito's first WWE Title victory. Owens pauses and informs Carlito he struck a deal with JBL earlier tonight, getting to pick his opponent, and it just so happens to be... Luke Harper! Harper makes his way to the ring as Owens breaks the news the match is now. Carlito vs. Luke HarperKevin Owens joined Heyman and Cole on commentary, bashing Carlito every chance he got with Paul Heyman. The element of surprise caught Carlito early on as Harper brawled earlier on, but once things got settled, Carlito showed out and finishes Harper off with a Backstabber.
As his music plays through the arena, Carlito pointed out to Kevin Owens and signaled the title around his waist that will be coming home this Sunday at Extreme Rules.
Charly Caruso stands by with The New Day who have made a challenge for tonight, a Street Fight against The Usos. Xavier Woods tells Charly the Aristocrat Cartel are under the impression a Chicago Street Fight isn't in The New Day's comfort zone. Instead of accepting that, they want to send a message, and tonight against The Usos they will do just that. The Usos then come by and say they mean no harm and no foul, but they're not going to lay down and be the example made. The Usos say they'll win tonight and are expecting something in return down the road. Asuka vs. Mickie JamesTo determine the #1 contender for Paige's WWE Women's Championship this Sunday, Asuka and Mickie are putting on a hell of a match back and forth. Mickie misses the Mick Kick and gets caught in an Asuka Lock. Mickie barely gets to the ropes, but a lot was taking out. Asuka gets ready and she's clobbered from behind... with a crowbar by Rubi Riot! Rubi smashes Asuka repeatedly with the crowbar before seeing Mickie get up and decking her with it, dropping James to the floor.
As the official tries to keep Rubi Riot away, she gets a microphone and calls out Paige. Rubi Riot tells Paige to quit running. The Women's Champion steps out on the stage and tells Rubi she isn't getting her match. Rubi puts a boot on Asuka's neck and tells Paige she'll put Asuka down for good. Paige starts stepping forward, and Rubi only wants to hear her accept the challenge without a step closer. Paige ponders and tells Rubi that she made this the Women's Championship so real women would represent the company, but while Rubi Riot isn't a diva, she's not a woman either. Paige says she has her match in Chicago, a Last Woman Standing match! Rubi smirks and tells Paige she's not smart at all, because not only did she give up her title, but she'll still bash Asuka's head in. Rubi Riot smashes the crowbar to the back of Asuka's head and Paige darts to the ring, but not in enough time to catch Rubi Riot. Paige quickly tends to Asuka and demands help, as Mickie James also comes to check on Asuka as Rubi Riot has no care in the world considering she has a title match this Sunday.Matt Hardy is talking to a couple guys in catering when Carlito walks up. Carlito and Matt Hardy find common ground that Kevin Owens is a prick and isn't right for the WWE Championship. Carlito says Matt should be a WWE Champion, and hasn't been afforded the opportunity yet. Carlito tells Matt he isn't fighting for himself, but he's fighting for Hardy and anyone else from his era that never got the opportunity. Carlito then asks for a favor, if Matt Hardy would face Kevin Owens tonight. Matt quickly accepts and tells Carlito he'll leave a little piece for him this Sunday. Elias Samson is in the ring sharing his feelings through a song about Kane coming back to the WWE at 74 years old, hiding his face in a mask, afraid to perform this song for his testicular safety... before he's cut off by Murphy, his opponent tonight. Elias Samson vs. MurphySix nights before the biggest night of his career thus far, Murphy looks great against Elias and defeats Elias with Murphy's Law!
After the contest, Murphy's music hits and he gets pumped as he raises his arms in the air, but Bobby Lashley slides in and uses this to lock in a full nelson! Lashley wrenches back and forth as Murphy is caught in a bad spot. Lashley tosses Murphy aside and backs up to the corner, stalking his opponent, and hits the Spear! Lashley stands tall and raises his United States Championship going into Sunday's show.Viktor makes another appearance, a third in a row, with a vignette. Viktor says it's been a hard road, thinking he was ascending when he was, in reality, descending to rock bottom. Viktor said he had to find himself and in the process, found something far greater. Viktor says it's about time he share his discovery to the whole world. Viktor says very soon, the WWE Universe will understand why he is now the most powerful man in the world. Emperor Roman Reigns and Randy Orton are arguing backstage ahead of their six-man tag before Kane walks up. Kane, speaking through his mask, sets the record straight that he doesn't like either of them, but it's about tonight. Kane says one night teaming together and they'll rip each other apart this Sunday. Kane warns them not to get in his way, and when Kane walks off, Orton tells Reigns he's learned from experience before being told to shut up by the Emperor. Kevin Owens vs. Matt Hardy in a non-title matchOwens began this refusing to compete before Matt Hardy came out of the ring to confront Owens at the ramp and they brawled into the ring to start the match. After a commercial, Carlito's joined Heyman and Cole on commentary and Heyman is cold towards Carlito. Owens settles things down in the match and gets out of a Twist of Fate, pushing Matt Hardy away and then hitting a spinning back elbow before trying to finish Matt with a Popup Powerbomb, but Hardy counters and jabs Owens and hits the Twist of Fate. Hardy gets excited before going up to the top rope for a Leg Drop before he's pushed off the ring post... it's Rusev?! Hardy falls on the apron and to the floor as Carlito comes to help.
Carlito comes to battle Rusev, but Kevin Owens pulls Carlito away and throws him into the barricade. Owens stomps away at Carlito as Rusev grabs a table. Rusev goes towards Carlito, but Matt Hardy pounces on Rusev and Rusev responds by hitting a spinebuster through the table. Owens demands Rusev get another one and the Bulgarian Brute sets it up in the ring. Owens throws Carlito around outside before rolling him back in the ring and hitting a decisive Popup Powerbomb through the table. Owens stands tall with his foot on Carlito's chest in the rubble while holding the WWE Championship up proudly.
Michael Cole and Paul Heyman issue an update on Asuka who has been taken to the local medical facility for further evaluation, making both Asuka and Becky Lynch who have been sidelined by Rubi Riot. Heyman says it's by any means necessary, and now Rubi Riot has a title opportunity at Extreme Rules. They throw it back to Charly Caruso standing by with WWE Women's Champion Paige, who is asked why she gave into Rubi Riot. Paige says Rubi Riot doesn't know what she wants, but she thinks she does. Paige says this Sunday she'll go to depths never seen before to not only defeat Rubi and retain her title, but to make sure Rubi Riot stays down much longer than a 10-count. The New Day w/Xavier Woods vs. The Usos in a Street FightPreviewing what's to come this Sunday in Chicago against the Aristocrat Cartel, The New Day and The Usos are putting each other through hell. Several times this match The New Day have been smashed with chairs and kendo sticks, and Kofi Kingston was put through a table in the corner with a running fireman's slam. The Aristocrat Cartel were shown in the locker room watching with grins, but The New Day turn things around and end up getting on a run with kendo sticks and even used Xavier's trombone on Jimmy Uso. The ending sees Big E hit a Big Ending on a Steel Chair to Jey Uso and The New Day win the match!
As The New Day celebrate, The Aristocrat Cartel are shown on television one more time as Ortiz and Santana are upset, but Alberto Del Rio shows them a new perspective. While The New Day wanted to prove themselves, they're not 100% for Sunday, and their title reign will be over in six days.
Elias Samson is walking with his head low through the parking lot when he hears a "hello." Elias looks up and sees a blonde approaching him. Elias asks if he can help her, and she introduces herself as Scarlett and she wants to know if he'd be feeling up for a few drinks at the bar down the street. Elias looks around and thinks it over before Scarlett takes a step closer and Elias agrees, telling her to hop on in his cab as the two drive off. Paul Heyman is astonished by what just walked into Elias' life. Heyman and Cole confirm a new match made for this Sunday, it'll be Matt Hardy versus Rusev in a Tables Match after what transpired tonight! Heyman says it'll be an easy win for Rusev, but Cole disagrees with Hardy's experience with tables involved. The other matches include: Match | Heyman's prediction | Cole's prediction | Tables Match Matt Hardy vs. Rusev
| Rusev | Matt Hardy | Chicago Street Fight The New Day(c) vs. The Aristocrat Cartel for the WWE Trios Championships | The Aristocrat Cartel | The New Day | Ambulance Match Bobby Lashley(c) vs. Murphy for the United States Championship | Bobby Lashley | Bobby Lashley | Last Woman Standing Paige(c) vs. Rubi Riot for the WWE Women's Championship | Paige | Paige | Extreme Rules Match Kevin Owens(c) vs. Carlito for the WWE Championship | Kevin Owens | Kevin Owens | Elimination Chamber Match Baron Corbin vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Emperor Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor vs. Kane vs. Randy Orton to become #1 contender for the WWE Championship | Randy Orton | Baron Corbin |
After recapping what happened earlier tonight during the match between Cody Rhodes and Kane, we have our 6-man tag main event starting now! Baron Corbin, Cody Rhodes, and Finn Balor vs. Emperor Roman Reigns, Kane, and Randy OrtonEach man has their own time to shine this match, and it breaks down just like the chaos that ensued earlier this evening when Cody and Kane were the legal men and Cody hit the Cross-Rhodes on Kane to go for a pin! Orton breaks up the pin and this is when chaos erupts. As Balor comes to fight off Orton, Reigns comes in, followed by Corbin and Reigns actually gets the upper-hand this time with an Emperor Punch to Corbin. Reigns shows off before he's hit with a Disaster Kick by Cody and then turns around into a Chokeslam by Kane! Kane then gets a few kicks by Balor that backs him up into the corner before being shoved away. Orton makes the unwelcome tag and gets in, before he's turned around by Kane and they argue. Kane grabs Orton by the throat and Orton breaks the grip and hits an RKO on Kane! Orton shouts down Kane before he's pulled back and hit with an End of Days by Corbin! Corbin sees Rhodes and picks Orton up for Cody to hit a Disaster Kick, and then Cody tags in Balor to go up top with a Coup de Grace. Reigns watches on from the barricade as rather than breaking it up, Balor gets the win.
Finn Balor's music hits and the three men get their hand raised going into Sunday before Corbin grabs Balor and hits the End of Days! The music fades quickly as Cody shoves Corbin in the chest. They then brawl before Cody gets hit with a Deep-Six by Corbin and Corbin turns into a Spear by Emperor Roman Reigns! Reigns stands tall above the rest as Raw goes off the air with tensions riding high between all six men ahead of the Elimination Chamber that determines the #1 contender for the WWE Championship.

JUNE 19 2018 ~ TUESDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN!
SmackDown begins with Dean Ambrose coming to a huge pop. Ambrose grabs the mic for a second, saying he's waited two weeks and he wants what's due. Ambrose says he isn't waiting any longer and calls out Christian for a WWE Universal Championship match to kick off the show! Ambrose waits and Christian's music finally hits, but Christian just pops on the titantron in street clothes. Christian congratulates Ambrose on being medically cleared, but after Ambrose's attack last week, he cites past concussion issues and says he isn't medically cleared. Christian blames Ambrose for not being cleared, so it's only fair he waits a little longer. Christian promises Ambrose will get his match, but it can't be tonight, but he's found a suitable replacement... Sheamus. But, since this was last minute, Sheamus will be arriving to the arena a little later so Ambrose has to wait on that too. Ambrose is clearly annoyed and tells Christian he better get to this arena or he'll have something worse than a little headache. Tom Phillips and Corey Graves hype tonight's show up with Jason Jordan versus Cesaro later this evening as well, but Tye Dillinger and Tyler Breeze interrupt them, dressed in red and white with a maple leaf on Dillinger's trunks and the same color scheme for Breeze. They announce themselves as the "Maple Leaf Mafia" and issue an open challenge. The only one to answer is Jeff Hardy, as they laugh, and Hardy says he only needs him and starts a brawl before an official gains order and starts a handicap match. Jeff Hardy vs. Maple Leaf Mafia in a Handicap MatchAlternating rather quickly, Dillinger and Breeze are making easy work on Hardy with their youth and athleticism. However, Breeze goes for a Beauty Shot and Hardy ducks and begins gaining momentum. Hardy hits the ropes but Dillinger pulls the rope and Hardy hits the floor hard. Dillinger throws Hardy recklessly into the ring steps, and then the barricade, and back inside the ring as Hardy staggers to his feet and gets the Beauty Shot for Breeze to get the pinfall.
Tye Dillinger and Tyler Breeze gloat in the ring as if it wasn't a handicap match, and Dillinger decides to pick Hardy up and go for a Tye Breaker but out comes THE BIG SHOW! Big Show is here on SmackDown and scares the Maple Leaf Mafia away from the ring.Renee Young stands by with Cesaro who is asked about his match against Jason Jordan, but he can't help but focus on Sheamus attacking him last week. Cesaro tells Sheamus if all he wants is a rematch, then ask. Carmella and Charlotte vs. Nikki Cross and Peyton RoyceIn tag team action, Cross and Royce are trying to prove they belong and it's Carmella locking in the Code of Silence on Royce, who refuses to tap, and it's Charlotte coming in and hitting Natural Selection on Royce. Carmella's taken by surprise and Charlotte yells for Mella to cover her, so she does and gets the win.
After the match, Carmella's music plays and Charlotte demands a mic and to cut the music. Carmella celebrates to the back and Charlotte sends a message to the Matrons Champion Tessa Blanchard. Charlotte realizes there's a lot to be told between them, that this match was years in the making, and tells Blanchard it's destiny they meet... but it's also destiny that a "Flair" is on the top.
The Revival are pleading in Kurt Angle's office for a rematch against Depths of Despair, wanting to gain back their tag titles. Angle says they haven't impressed at all, saying Akam and Rezar have The Revival's number. Dawson asks to let him prove they're still viable contenders, when Angle makes a singles match: Rezar versus Wilder tonight. Cesaro vs. Jason JordanJason Jordan showed incredible strength opposed to Cesaro, who had his own displays of strength. The crowd chants "this is awesome" as Cesaro lifts Jordan from the apron into the ring with a suplex and Jordan lands six consecutive German suplexes! But towards the end, Cesaro has Jordan ready for the Neutralizer after a Very European Uppercut when the Celtic Warrior's music hits. Cesaro looks to the ramp, waiting for Sheamus, but Jordan has time to recoup and hits an Olympic Slam in honor of Kurt Angle! Jordan goes for the cover and only gets two as the music stops. Jordan then decides to go up top and when he waits for Cesaro to get up, Jordan jumps into a Very European Uppercut that floors him and he's quickly picked up for a Neutralizer as Cesaro wins the match.
Cesaro makes it to his feet and gets hit with a Brogue Kick by Sheamus, who just ran through the crowd. Sheamus immediately leaves the ring and uses the stage to gloat as he gets back-to-back weeks laying Cesaro out with the Brogue Kick.
Immediately after a commercial, Cesaro barges in Kurt Angle's office, holding his head and demanding a match against Sheamus. As Angle gives an explanation, Cesaro says he did him a favor by facing Jason Jordan and wants what he wants. Angle obliges and gives the match to Cesaro for next week, Cesaro versus Sheamus. The self-proclaimed "Silver Medalist" Michael Bennett is with Maria in the ring as his wife demands respect from the crowd, but he's not getting it. Fight of the Valkyries play and Daniel Bryan comes out, laughing at Bennett. Bennett takes this as disrespect, but Bryan tries to explain that respect isn't demanded, it's earned. Bryan says he hasn't earned any by being a second place finisher. Bennett challenges Bryan to a match right now and Bryan shrugs, ready to go. Daniel Bryan vs. Michael Bennett w/MariaBryan gives Bennett a taste of what a real superstar is, finishing Bennett off easily with a Knee-Plus.
Renee Young has a word with Big Show and Jeff Hardy. Renee asks why Big Show is back. Big Show says he's been watching both Raw and SmackDown the last couple weeks, and he's excited to announce he has signed with SmackDown. Big Show says he couldn't stand back and watch Jeff Hardy, a longtime friend, be disrespected by two rooks in Tyler Breeze and Tye Dillinger. Big Show says he and Hardy have talked to Angle already, and they have Maple Leaf Mafia in a match next week in Big Show's return to action. Another vignette airs for Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan as Wyatt is shown handing out flyers to people on the street for Erick Rowan. The flyer advertises the "Wyatt Compound" where Rowan is holding an open challenge to any and all comers. We then see Rowan in the Wyatt Compound ready for competition, but only one scrawny fearful kid comes in. He believes he's in the wrong place before Wyatt invites the kid in the ring by pushing him along, and Rowan absolutely destroys him. Rowan throws him outside the ring, as Wyatt encourages him and rolls him back in to just get a Mandible Claw Slam by Rowan. Wyatt laughs the entire time with a sly grin as he gets inside and asks for any other challengers for Erick Rowan, looking around, and seeing nobody. Wyatt tells Rowan he needs to find more challenges, and if they won't come to him at the Wyatt Compound, then they'll go to them. Dash Wilder w/Scott Dawson vs. Rezar w/AkamDash Wilder tries fighting for The Revival's second chance at regaining the WWE Tag Team Championships, but Rezar hits a version of the Super Collider, stacking Wilder off the powerbomb and pinning Wilder's shoulders to the mat.
After the match, Scott Dawson tries getting inside to attack Rezar, but Akam quickly gets in and cuts Dawson off. Dawson thinks twice and he steps down, not wanting anything and Wilder rolls to the outside.

Renee holds the mic up and Zayn reminds the WWE Universe a loss he had a couple weeks ago against The Miz. Zayn says he wants to redeem himself and has just got back from Angle's office to secure a rematch against The Miz. Sami calls it a "must-see" rematch and says he would wish The Miz luck, but luck won't strike twice. Tom Phillips and Corey Graves highlight a stacked card for next week's SmackDown. In addition to Sami Zayn and The Miz that just got announced, it'll be Big Show and Jeff Hardy versus Maple Leaf Mafia, as well as Cesaro versus Sheamus. But up next, Dean Ambrose battles Sheamus in the main event after Christian announced he's not medically cleared to compete tonight. Dean Ambrose vs. SheamusAfter being snubbed a WWE Universal Title match tonight, Ambrose let his frustration out on Sheamus but going to a fist fight with the Celtic Warrior is never a good idea as the Lunatic Fringe also got a beating handed to him. Ambrose and Sheamus continued battling but Ambrose finds himself in trouble as his quick offense is derailed by going for a rebound clothesline, but Sheamus counters into White Noise. Sheamus tries to finish Ambrose off with a Brogue Kick, setting up in the corner, but Cesaro comes and grabs the foot of Sheamus! Sheamus turns around and Cesaro backs up, but as the official tells Cesaro to make his way to the back, Sheamus turns around to a kick down low by Ambrose, followed up with a Dirty Deeds as Ambrose hooks the leg and the official counts three.
Dean Ambrose's music hits and Ambrose celebrates but that is quickly over when Christian nails Ambrose with the WWE Universal Championship! Christian is here! Christian led everyone astray by saying he wasn't at the arena tonight. Christian picks Ambrose up and hits a Killswitch on the title with a smirk. Christian grabs his title from underneath Ambrose's head and he taunts Ambrose before Kurt Angle's music hits and Christian's facial expression completely changes. Kurt Angle drops a bombshell that he has it on good authority that Christian was not written out of action by the WWE's medical doctors. Therefore, he promises fans a title match between Christian and Ambrose next week! Angle says if Christian doesn't defend the title, he will forfeit to Ambrose! Christian flips out as SmackDown goes off the air with the fans happy.

As Paul Heyman mention the amount of Tables that have been destroyed tonight, up next only one table has to be destroyed for this match. Matt Hardy vs. Rusev in a Tables MatchHardy got into the wrong fight with Rusev, as Rusev knocked Hardy around early and this wobbles Hardy for majority of the match as Hardy doesn't look good. Reigns calls it favoritism, but under new management, he believes JBL values him as a top player on Raw. The Emperor says it doesn't matter who wins, Carlito or Owens, because neither are on his level. After he wins the Elimination Chamber tonight, he'll get what was due to him since birth. Ahead of the next match, the ambulance sirens blare and it parks on the right side of the ramp. Murphy makes his entrance by the Ambulance and looks timid but ready for his first singles title, while Bobby Lashley follows afterward. Bobby Lashley(c) vs. Murphy in an Ambulance Match for the United States ChampionshipMurphy starts the match prematurely but after the initial offense, he immediately regrets it once Lashley gains control and tosses him around the ringside area, including over the steel steps where Murphy's knee hits the steel. Lashley sends Murphy inside and continues grinding him out some more before exiting the ring and making their way toward the ambulance. Murphy begins fighting back on the stage but Lashley again asserts his dominance, ramming into Murphy and Murphy goes flying into the side of the ambulance and crashing hard. As several replays show Murphy's hard landing, Lashley goes down and opens the ambulance to put Murphy in, but Murphy fights back. Murphy ends up hitting Murphy's Law out of nowhere and trying to lift Lashley up in the ambulance, but no power left. Lashley and Murphy battle some more by the ambulance and Lashley tries hitting a Spear, but Murphy dodges it and Lashley goes head-first in the side of the ambulance. Murphy gets Lashley inside the ambulance and goes to close the doors, but Lashley's superhuman strength keep the doors open and Lashley throws them open and hits a clothesline out of the ambulance. Lashley and Murphy continue to battle and as Murphy goes for another Murphy's Law, Lashley counters and lifts Murphy on his shoulder, ramming him into the ambulance, and then adjusting to hit the Dominator. Orton says only two others in this match know what a world title feels like, and they'll be hungry, but he's starving. Orton calls Reigns the future, but he's not the present. Orton says Corbin can't bring his cool bike in the Elimination Chamber, and Cody constantly chokes in big moments. Orton recalls losing the title to John Cena at WrestleMania, Cena getting number 17, but it was a spit in the face that he dropped the title. Orton says he respects the WWE Championship too much and will win tonight to become world champion for a 14th time. A short package shows how Carlito's received a rare WWE Championship opportunity for him, that all started with a Carlito's Cabana after Kevin Owens cashed his Money in the Bank briefcase in at SmackDown's No Mercy event. Kevin Owens(c) vs. Carlito in an Extreme Rules Match for the WWE ChampionshipOwens came out this match to prove he is a worthy WWE Champion and Carlito was eating his words a lot, especially with a Popup Powerbomb on the ring apron. Owens lost his cool a few times, and they ended up being near falls, including a Backstabber that Owens barely kicked out of. Carlito got busted open early with Owens using a cheese-grader to rub across Carlito's face. Towards the end, Carlito just kicked out of a Package Fallaway Powerbomb off the top rope on a chair and Owens got up signaling the end. Owens throws Carlito up for a Popup Powerbomb but Carlito counters with a small package. The official gets down and the crowd pops up as the ref counts... but Owens barely gets out! Cody admits there's extra motivation with Kevin Owens retaining tonight, knowing he wants to be the one to take the title off Owens. Baron Corbin vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Emperor Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor vs. Kane vs. Randy Orton in an Elimination Chamber MatchTo determine the next #1 contender for Kevin Owens and the WWE Championship, Corbin and Rhodes kick things off. They have a traditional standoff before Emperor Roman Reigns is the third entrant. Reigns has fresh legs over them, but it's pretty even for the first three. Fourth is Randy Orton, and it turns into a 2-v-2 as Orton and Reigns team up against Corbin and Rhodes. No one eliminated yet, though Rhodes was close to it after receiving an RKO from Orton and he kicks out at two. Fifth is Kane and the Big Red Monster comes and lays everyone out. Donning the mask now, Kane destroys everyone in his wake and even hits a Chokeslam on Baron Corbin! Kane signals for a Tombstone Piledriver and the lights go out. The gong sounds and the crowd raises to its feet. Two druids come out holding torches and they open a space at the top of the ramp. A fifth shadow comes out and all of a sudden, the lights come on and a hooded man has an urn. He removes the hood and looks up, it's Viktor! Viktor has an URN?! Kane is totally mesmerized by the event and Orton turns him into an RKO! Orton makes the cover quickly. Kane has been eliminated.
After the distraction, Viktor and the druids exit before Kane can come to and get out of the Chamber. Things are pretty quiet before Finn Balor, the sixth entrant, storms the ring and takes a lot of people out. Balor gets a head of steam and hits a Slingblade and a corner dropkick on Reigns before going up, but Orton pulls Balor to the edge and hits a powerslam on the chamber structure. Back in the ring, Rhodes and Corbin are going at it and Corbin hits a Deep-Six before Reigns gets back up and hits a Spear on Corbin! Reigns quickly makes the cover and scores the fall. Baron Corbin has been eliminated.
Moments later, Reigns picks up Cody and is pounding Cody down. Reigns waits for Cody to get up and hits an Emperor Punch! Before he can make the cover, he's turned around and Corbin hits the End of Days! The official yells Corbin out of the ring, but the Lone Wolf has done what he wanted to do, getting revenge on Reigns for his title hopes. Corbin reluctantly leaves and after witnessing this, Orton slithers in and covers Reigns. Emperor Roman Reigns has been eliminated.
With just Orton, Rhodes, and Balor left in the match, Orton goes to work on Cody Rhodes in the ring after eliminating two men himself thus far. Orton works on the legs until Balor comes in with a springboard dropkick. Balor and Orton go at it for a few moments before Cody comes in and takes out Balor with a clubbing forearm. Rhodes and Orton battle a few moments before they look up and see Balor on the top of the pod and takes out both men with a diving crossbody! All three men are down and Balor gets up before both men and delivers some kicks while Orton and Rhodes are on their knees. Orton then catches one of the kicks and as Balor's short arms can't reach Orton, Rhodes reaches for Balor and uses this to hit Cross-Rhodes on Balor! Orton then strikes with an RKO on Rhodes! Orton makes the cover and Rhodes kicks out at 2.9999! Orton argues the call but the fans are happy. Orton then goes for a Punt Kick on Rhodes, but Balor prevents it with a Slingblade! Orton pops up and gets hit with a Corner Dropkick. Balor goes to the top rope, but after looking to the fans, he climbs on top of the pod for a second time tonight. Balor misses a Coup de Grace from the top! Orton rolled out of the way. Balor hurts his leg on the landing and Orton gets up and is ready to hit Balor with a RKO but Cody hits a Disaster Kick on Orton that stuns him and Balor musters a 1916. Balor makes the cover and puts down the Viper! Randy Orton has been eliminated.
After the dust settles, Rhodes and Balor spot each other with Balor bloody from earlier in the night. Rhodes and Balor exchange blows in the ring before Rhodes catches Balor in a Figure Four. Balor, with the bad leg, turns the pressure around and Rhodes lets go. The two square up once again before Balor gets the better of the strikes and knocks Rhodes down a few times before hitting the slingblade, corner dropkick combo. Balor goes to the top and hesitates, thinking about going to the pod, but remembering last time he settles for a top rope Coup de Grace and connects! Balor isn't quick on the cover, just because of all he's taken, but he makes the cover and RHODES KICKS OUT! The crowd can't believe it. Balor can't either! Balor gets upset and sets up in the opposing corner, ready to pounce for another corner dropkick, and as he charges Rhodes moves out of the way and Balor kicks the ghost in the corner instead. Balor rolls over and gets hit with a Disaster Kick that turns him inside out. Rhodes quickly grabs Balor and hits the Cross-Rhodes in the center of the ring, deeply hooking in the leg and getting the three.
The crowd remain on their feet and cheer Cody Rhodes who went through hell tonight to get the shot at Kevin Owens and the WWE Championship. Two foes from their days on SmackDown are back at it as Rhodes survives the Elimination Chamber. Rhodes rests sitting on the ropes, in sweat and tears with Balor's blood on his forearm, as he earns this title opportunity. The Chamber rises and Cody gets to his feet and has his hand raised. During his celebration, Balor limps up to him and extends a handshake. The two shake hands as Balor leaves the ring to Cody Rhodes for his time to celebrate as Extreme Rules draws to a close.

JUNE 25 2018 ~ MONDAY NIGHT RAW Raw starts with WWE Champion Kevin Owens who comes to directly tell fans at the barricade they were wrong about him after successfully defending his title against Carlito last night at Extreme Rules. Owens gets in the ring and says he is untouchable but Cody Rhodes interrupts. Owens gets annoyed while Rhodes has a permanent grin on his face. Rhodes gets inside and says "we meet again" that pops the crowd. Cody tells Kevin Owens his title reign is on the clock, and he will go ahead and let him know the time and place: Raw's pay-per-view Stomping Grounds on July 22nd. Cody says he's coming for the title and won't be stopped. Emperor Roman Reigns interrupts and congratulates Cody on winning, only to say it's impressive to be the only non-deserving Elimination Chamber winner in history. Cody tilts his head and the Emperor reminds everyone he was attacked by Baron Corbin, who had already been eliminated, and should've never been pinned. Cody shrugs his shoulders and Reigns wants to put Cody to the test, proving he's worthy of a prestigious title his daddy never held - the WWE Championship. At the mention of Dusty, Cody gets in Roman's face and he already knows what button he's pushed as Cody accepts the challenge for tonight. Kevin Owens stands by in the corner just happy as can be, saying he'll be back to watch that! Alexa Bliss vs. Becky LynchIn the opening contest, Becky shows out with a newfound aggression and forces Alexa to tap to the Dis-arm-her.
Becky Lynch gets the mic and says it's good to be back, but she'll never be busted open like she was by Rubi Riot. Becky says she had two jobs: 1, keep Rubi Riot away from the Women's Championship and "check." 2, she's coming for blood and warns Rubi.
Footage was captured last night of Randy Orton, and Orton explains he's been in the most heinous matches in the last couple of months. After main eventing WrestleMania, he was in a Hell in a Cell match, followed by an Elimination Chamber. Orton understands he needs to take time off to recover. Orton says he doesn't know how long, might be a few weeks or a few months, but he will come back 100% and ready to become world champion again. After seeing this, Finn Balor is interviewed by Charly Caruso about the aftereffects of last night's Elimination Chamber Match. JBL says he understands Kane is here tonight, but if he knows Kane after last night, he isn't happy about Viktor costing him last night's Elimination Chamber Match. JBL instructs the backstage crew member to find Kane, and while he's timid, JBL demands he goes now. Asuka vs. Mickie JamesIn a rematch from last week after Rubi Riot's interference, Asuka and Mickie went toe-to-toe before Mickie counters an Asuka Lock by rolling up on her and the official quickly counts the shoulders down for 3 as Mickie James scores a big win.
After the commercial, Elias Samson is shown in the ring with Rusev. Elias says his moment was ruined last night by Shinsuke Nakamura but he won't let it get to him, because he still is the winner of this year's Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. And his songs make him larger than life, kinda like The Rock is. Elias mentions The Usos couldn't hold a finger to The Rock, and since the Great One made "Rock Concerts" so famous, he wants to dedicate this to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Elias mentions Rock couldn't hang with the new generation, so he skipped off to hollywood... The Rock had a silver spoon life, he never grew up in the hood. The Rock's favorite hero grew up in Boston, and he'll never be a better star than Austin. The Usos interrupt Elias and are ready for tag team action. Elias Samson and Rusev w/Lana vs. The UsosThis was a closer match than people would expect, Rusev tried getting The Usos back for last night. However Elias began to eat his words and when things broke down, the brothers had the genetic edge and The Usos finish a Double Uce Splash to win this tag team contest.
Charly Caruso gets a word from WWE Champion Kevin Owens about Cody Rhodes choosing Stomping Grounds to get his title match. Owens says he's very familiar with Cody and wrestling him at a PPV just makes it sweeter to embarrass him. Owens reminds Charly he just got this title after years of hard work, so it won't be easy to take it. Matt Hardy heads to the ring. Hardy gets on the mic and says defeating Rusev was big for him last night in a tables match. Hardy says he got a call from his wife and was asked "what's next." Hardy says he can't help but think it's some gold, and while Cody is challenging Kevin Owens at Stomping Grounds, he's decided on who he wants. Matt Hardy calls out Bobby Lashley, the United States Champion! Lashley responds, coming out and saying he definitely heard Matt wrong. Lashley tells Matt Hardy to step out of the ring right now, and Hardy doesn't back down, but only steps up closer to Lashley. Lashley shoves Matt in the face and Matt Hardy tackles Lashley. The two brawl as The Usos run down moments after their match and pull Lashley off Matt Hardy. Lashley begins fighting The Usos and now the Aristocrat Cartel's Ortiz and Santana charge down and attack The Usos. The back clears of security as they try holding the six men apart. We head to commercial in order to gain order. After the break, it's announced that Matt Hardy and The Usos will face Bobby Lashley, Ortiz, and Santana next week on Raw. The backstage crew member is walking around searching for Kane, when after receiving several shrugs, one person tells him he was right over there... in the boiler room. The scrawny guy gulps and timidly reaches for the boiler room door. He steps closer in the doorway before being yanked in the room and the boiler room door shuts. Finn Balor vs. Luke HarperBalor shows effects from the Elimination Chamber match last night and Harper is picking him apart. That is until Balor begins to fight back and show his willpower, fighting back on one leg. Harper goes for his discus clothesline, which Balor rolls through and hits a few shots before connecting with a Slingblade, setting up the Corner Dropkick, and headed up top for the Coup de Grace as Balor takes down the big man for 3!
Elias Samson once again has his head low with his guitar over his shoulder when Scarlett walks up to him at the lot. Elias asks how she got here, and she says she was just in town and decided to come back to Raw this week too. Scarlett says Elias looks like he needs a drink, and to come back to the hotel. Elias looks around and thinks before Scarlett draws a little closer and Elias tells Scarlett to hop in, as Elias leaves with this blonde a second week in a row. In another part of backstage, Alberto Del Rio is chewing Ortiz and Santana out for their involvement with Bobby Lashley, Matt Hardy, and The Usos. Santana speaks up and says Del Rio promised a victory last night, and they're confident they would've beat The New Day except Del Rio got pinned by Woods. Santana thinks Del Rio might be the problem, and says they'll team with Lashley next week while Del Rio goes back and watches film. Santana is the first to walk off, as Del Rio looks at Ortiz, and Ortiz walks off as well. Cody Rhodes vs. Emperor Roman ReignsWWE Champion Kevin Owens decides to join Heyman and Cole for commentary, watching his new #1 contender go against The Emperor. Both are showing effects of the Elimination Chamber with the slightest moves hurting a little worse today, but Rhodes and Reigns are battling. Corbin heads inside and meets the WWE Champion and The Emperor with hard rights as they try to stand up to Corbin before eventually bailing after being knocked down a few times. Corbin stands tall as he turns to see Rhodes getting up, confused for receiving Corbin's help, but grateful nonetheless.
WWE Women's Champion Paige stands with Mickie James and Becky Lynch and the Anti-Diva thanks both for helping her last night against Rubi Riot, but reminds them she doesn't need it. Lynch and James try to explain themselves, but Paige says that's for future reference. Paige recognizes James and Lynch are two of the top women on the roster and says while Rubi Riot isn't worthy of a title match, they are. Paige says she's talked to JBL and they can fight it out next week. Michael Cole and Paul Heyman advertise next week's Raw that includes the #1 contender's match just made between Becky Lynch and Mickie James, as well as the 6-man tag team match made earlier. Cole's interrupted by Kane's music and the Big Red Machine heads to the ring not in a good mood as the final commercial break is taken. After the commercial, Kane is in the ring and holds up to speak through his mask. Kane says in a few words "Viktor, bring back what's not yours." Kane waits and the lights go out. A spotlight is shown at the ramp with smoke, a druid comes out with the urn in his hands. Two more druids step to his side and walk down with the druid in the middle to ringside. The druid in the middle removes his hood to reveal himself to be Viktor. Viktor is smiling menacingly before he turns and Kane's music hits. Kane looks and sees a man wearing an identical mask head down the ramp. The impostor stares with Kane as the two druids have made their way on the left apron with Viktor on the steps. The impostor gets up on the apron and steps over very Kane-esque and stands face-to-face with Kane. The two other druids step in, followed by Viktor protected in the corner with the urn. The lights come on as Viktor raises the urn. Kane is mesmerized by the masked individual standing across from him. Kane looks to Viktor and sees the other two druids unmask. The impostor Kane grabs the real Kane by the throat, and Kane retaliates by matching him. The impostor then throws him aside as one man hits a spin kick that floors Kane. The second man picks Kane up and hits a chokeslam, followed by the impostor Kane picking the Big Red Monster up and hitting a Tombstone Piledriver. Viktor then kneels like The Undertaker, holding the urn up as Raw goes off the air.

JUNE 26 2018 ~ TUESDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN!
SmackDown usually starts with an in-ring segment, but up first, it is tag team action to kick off SmackDown as Big Show returns to the ring to join forces with Jeff Hardy against the Maple Leaf Mafia. Big Show and Jeff Hardy vs. Maple Leaf MafiaBig Show begins the match using his size and power over MLM, but once Hardy gets in, they turn the tide quickly and gang up on the Charismatic Enigma. Hardy makes a hot tag and Big Show comes in, showing he still has it, before Breeze lands a Superkick followed by a Beauty Shot. Breeze makes the cover but Hardy comes in with a Swanton Bomb to break up the pin! Hardy and Dillinger square up before Hardy comes out on top with a Twist of Fate. Hardy then races back to the corner, seeing Big Show crawling as Hardy gets a tag and goes up for a second Swanton Bomb on Breeze to secure a big win.
As Jeff Hardy and Big Show get to their feet, Renee Young meets them in the ring to get an instant reaction. Renee asks how Big Show feels about being back in the ring and he says his days in the ring are numbered, but he'll always come even the score for his friends. Renee asks what's next for Hardy, and he recalls a couple weeks ago when Maple Leaf Mafia cost him the Intercontinental Championship. Hardy calls out Neville for the title!
After the commercial, Charlotte comes to the ring and says there's a lot to be said about her match in two weeks at Great American Bash. Charlotte says her dad made some memories at the event, as did Tessa Blanchard's. Charlotte says this match was a long time coming, but what's inevitable, is she winning the Matrons Championship and becoming a champion in WWE for a fifth time. Matrons Champion Tessa Blanchard heads out to remind Charlotte that there's one solid difference between them: Tessa's outshined her father, but Charlotte will always be in her daddy's shadow. Charlotte nods before going to smack Tessa, before Blanchard counters with a Magnum attempt, but Charlotte eludes it and gets out of dodge. Blanchard raises her title on high ground as the match is two weeks away. WWE Universal Champion Christian barges into Kurt Angle's office, demanding that it's not fair he competes when he still has headaches from the Dirty Deeds two weeks away. Christian says with all the neck issues he's had, you think Angle would be more considerate. Angle tells Christian he's completely fine, the tests came back negative, and he's defending the title tonight. Christian asks to wait for Great American Bash, and while Angle says he will defend his title then, but only if he successfully defends it tonight against Dean Ambrose. Christian says if he has issues, Angle will be the first one he sues as he storms out. Sami Zayn vs. The MizIn a rematch from a few weeks ago, Zayn and Miz are going at it. Zayn avoids the Skull Crushing Finale and instead hits a snapmare suplex. Zayn then measures up for a Helluva Kick and as he's about to charge to the center of the ring, the lights go out. When they come back on, Zayn's head is held by Erick Rowan and is hit with a Mandible Claw Slam and the official calls for the bell.
Bray Wyatt is in his signature rocking chair ringside as he observes Erick Rowan in the ring. Rowan stands tall over Zayn as The Miz can't make of it, and one bad look from Rowan sends Miz running through the crowd. Rowan steps on Zayn's sternum as he raises his fist and Bray applauds from the rocking chair.
Renee Young asks Intercontinental Champion Neville of Jeff Hardy's challenge from earlier. Neville claims he set on a quest to become the greatest champion of all-time. Neville says if Jeff Hardy is on that stepping stool, he'll squash him. Neville says he wants no excuses, so he ups the ante - in a Steel Cage at The Great American Bash! Akam w/Rezar vs. Scott Dawson w/Dash WilderFollowing their partners clashing last week, Dawson and Akam went at it tonight. Akam was throwing Dawson around and constantly going outside to Wilder for timeouts, and one time that Akam went after Wilder, he was pushed into the steel by Dawson and evened the odds. Dawson wears Akam down and towards the end, Dawson has Akam in a Figure Four and is using obstructed view to hold Wilder's hands. Rezar was livid and goes over to take Wilder out, but Dawson hits a baseball slide to take Rezar out. Dawson gets back in the ring and Akam nearly powerslams Dawson, but Dawson flows from the back and rolls Akam up. The official counts as Wilder helps Dawson with leverage behind his back.
Scott Dawson pins Akam! The Revival get out of dodge quickly after getting a big win over Akam and one over the WWE Tag Team Champions.
Backstage, Renee Young interviews Cesaro about trying to get a second win over Sheamus tonight and the interview is interrupted by an attack by the Celtic Warrior. The two brawl to ringside and their match kicks off early. Cesaro vs. SheamusGetting a head start, both took punishment before the bell, and in particular Cesaro got a back body drop into the steel steps by Sheamus. As they go hard with their strikes, it's Cesaro getting taken out with a Brogue Kick by Sheamus to put him down as The Celtic Warrior gets revenge on Cesaro for defeating him at No Mercy.
Kurt Angle invites Jason Jordan in his office. Angle tells Jordan he is very impressed with him and know he's the future of the business, as in Chad Gable when he gets back. Angle tells Jordan he called in a favor and now he's scheduled in a match for The Great American Bash. It'll be Jason Jordan, one-on-one, with John Cena! Jordan looks worried and nervous as Angle places his hand on Jason's shoulder and reminds the young kid that he gave Cena his rub when he started, and while Cena didn't win, he put up a fight and become one of the GOATs of the business. Angle tells Jordan he sees the same young GOAT in Jordan. Angle tells Jordan to get ready and be proud. Carmella vs. Peyton RoyceAfter their tag team match last week, the two go one-on-one and it's Carmella using the Code of Silence forcing Peyton to tap out.
Renee Young stands by with Dean Ambrose moments before his WWE Universal Championship match against Christian. Ambrose says Christian's dodged him every opportunity he's gotten, and since he tasted the top of the mountain so briefly before Kevin Owens ruined it, he's wanted more. Tonight, he gets more, and then he'll defend the title against whoever at The Great American Bash because he will be a fighting champion and not a p****. Production barely bleeps out the word as Ambrose goes towards the curtain. Tom Phillips and Corey Graves mention the big matches of The Great American Bash confirmed tonight, including Jason Jordan versus John Cena for the first time ever. Plus, after putting Maple Leaf Mafia behind him, Jeff Hardy has a Steel Cage match against Neville for the Intercontinental Championship. Yet next week, Sami Zayn faces Erick Rowan following his attack earlier tonight. Also breaking news, John Cena will be LIVE next week on SmackDown! This will be Cena's first appearance since being drafted to SmackDown and since he lost to Randy Orton inside Hell in a Cell at Vengeance. Christian(c) vs. Dean Ambrose for the WWE Universal ChampionshipAmbrose finally gets his hands on Christian once the bell rings and he goes to town. Ambrose senses the title in his grasps and he gets close with a Dirty Deeds, but Christian continues avoiding it. Things even out and Christian and Ambrose are battling on the top rope before Christian prevents a superplex and pushes Ambrose down and hits a frog splash, but only getting a 2 count. Christian tries for a Killswitch, but Ambrose pushes Christian away and turns him inside out with a clothesline. Ambrose begins getting momentum and sets up for Dirty Deeds when Triple H's music hits. Ambrose and the official look to the ramp as Triple H comes out in street clothes with a sledgehammer in hand. Triple H storms down the ramp when Ambrose gets low-blowed from behind and hit with a Killswitch as Christian grabs the ref's attention and he pins Ambrose.
Christian celebrates and gets handed the WWE Universal Championship as he rests in the corner and Triple H gets in the ring. Christian's music stops as Triple H looks to the champion. Christian rolls out of the ring and gets a microphone, letting everyone know that now he's defended the title, he'll see everyone in 30 days. Triple H is pissed and demands the mic as Christian backs up the ramp, and Triple H elaborates on the deal Christian made him. Triple H said the deal was to prevent Ambrose from getting the title, and facing The Game for the title at The Great American Bash. Christian denies that before Kurt Angle's music hits. Angle asks if this is true, and Triple H is persistent. Angle makes the title match official for The Great American Bash. Christian will defend the title against Triple H... and because of tonight, Dean Ambrose! Both Christian and Triple H are upset, but Triple H has no time to argue because he's turned around and dropped with Dirty Deeds! Dean Ambrose's music hits as he stands tall over Triple H after securing one more title opportunity after being screwed by Triple H and Christian tonight.
