The pandemic was hard on everyone, and in particular, ones released from their employers. WWE showed no sympathy and spared no tear for "budget cuts" as superstars and their families were affected. Seeing the impact made, Mark Cuban said no more. Cuban funded a brand new company with the sole intent of hiring those released from the WWE. Jokes have been made in the past about ex-WWE talent showing up, but Cuban wants a home for them to prove their worth.

And the roster looks great! These are the names at their former company, and will be known soon whether they keep their names or change them at MOW.
