ECW One Night Stand 2006
- The show kicks off with World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio of SmackDown defending the championship against Sabu in an Extreme Rules match. Mysterio retains after a 619, a thrown chair shot, and a springboard splash.
- Chris Benoit and SmackDown's Kurt Angle wrestle a classic right here and it's Benoit coming up with the win thanks to his Crippler Crossface.
- Shelton Benjamin, the Intercontinental Champion, comes out to defend his title in a Triple Threat against Raw's Randy Orton and SmackDown's Kid Kash. In a decision that upset the ECW faithful, Charlie Haas comes to help his friend when Orton uses the distraction to hit the RKO on Benjamin and steal the title.
- Londrick comes out celebrating with their WWE Tag Team Championships and wants to issue an open challenge to prove Monday Night Raw is better than ECW... but the rocket drops... it's THE DUDLEY BOYZ! The roof blows off this place and The Dudley Boyz are back in WWE! Even better, they hit a 3-D within minutes and take the WWE Tag Team Titles!
- Hardcore Holly finds out what hardcore really means, losing to The Sandman in an Extreme Rules match!
- Tommy Dreamer gets even with Chavo Guerrero in this Extreme Rules match, getting the fans hype before RVD comes out to challenge John Cena.
It's the cash-in moment for "Mr. Money in the Bank" Rob Van Dam against WWE Champion John Cena. Cena is in a hostile environment against RVD in this Extreme Rules contest. Towards the end, it looks like RVD has things in control when Randy Orton, Mr. Kennedy, and even Triple H try getting involved! The numbers are too much when Dreamer, Snow, Lynn and Sabu hit the ring and throw chairs around, evening the odds. Three of them fight back to the curtain as Sabu hypes RVD up. Van Dam gets on a roll against Cena before getting where he wants him. Van Dam scales to the top rope when SMASH! Van Dam falls to the mat after Sabu throws the chair in his head! Fans throw trash onto Sabu in similar fashion, as Sabu watches on and John Cena, clueless of what just happened, picks Van Dam up and hits the AA to win the match and retain his WWE Championship.
WHY, Sabu... WHY?!

Monday Night Raw - June 12, 2006 University Park, PA
- The show opens up with John Cena apologizing for how ECW One Night Stand happened and issues an open challenge for Rob Van Dam to cash his rematch in anytime. Triple H rebuttals RVD's rematch saying the brand split is official now and there shouldn't be any cross-promotion. Triple H says he demands that title opportunity. Randy Orton heads out saying he did what he needed to do to bring the Intercontinental Title back to Raw, but he has his eyes on something bigger. Mr. Kennedy emerges saying he was promised by Triple H that he'd get the opportunity at Cena and the WWE Championship if he helped keep the title on Raw. They're bickering when KANE comes out! Kane stands his ground but it takes The Coach to pop his head out, announcing a 4-way tournament to determine the #1 contender later tonight.
- The first match features Mr. Kennedy and Kane. Kennedy rakes the eyes of Kane during a Chokeslam attempt and hits the Green Bay Plunge to advance to tonight's main event.
- Next up, Intercontinental Champion Randy Orton faces off with former Evolution buddy Triple H. The two go head-to-head in this tight matchup and it's Eugene's music that distracts Randy Orton enough for Triple H to roll Orton up for a quick three count! Orton's piiissed off and confronts Eugene and Triple H backstage, where Orton finds out that Triple H convinced Eugene to help. Orton says he planned on wrestling twice tonight, then challenges Eugene to a match later this evening. The only problem? Triple H peer pressures Orton into putting the Intercontinental Title on the line!
- Following a replay of Londrick losing the WWE Tag Team Titles last night, the losing streak continues against the Basham Brothers.
- Chris Masters issues an open Masterlock Challenge where Road Warrior Animal tries, but Masters puts the legend asleep.
- The Spirit Squad backstage tries to find out what they'll do without Kenny in the group, mourning his selection to SmackDown, when Simon Dean approaches them. Simon Dean wants to be a part of the Spirit Squad, but the rest of the group doesn't necessarily love that and Dean gets the "let's get back to you next week."
- A quick match between Candice Michelle and Ashley Massaro, the two undrafted divas to Raw, happens because of an argument earlier in the day and Massaro beats Michelle with a tornado DDT!
- Randy Orton defends his Intercontinental Championship against Eugene and did so successfully with an RKO, right before the main event! Orton wants to add insult to injury but Matt Hardy puts a stop to this, rushing the ring.
- John Cena stops by commentary for the main event with Mr. Kennedy and Triple H. The two are going back and forth as Triple H grabs the Sledgehammer. Cena gets up to snatch the sledgehammer from Triple H. The two argue when Mr. Kennedy hits a baseball slide onto Triple H, knocking down Cena. Kennedy gets in the ring and goes for a Swanton Bomb but Cena slides in and takes Kennedy off the turnbuckle for an AA! The official calls for the bell. There's chaos as there is a three-way fight going on and The Coach comes down for some order.
Tuesday Night ECW - June 13, 2006 Trenton, NJ
- Paul Heyman kicks off the show with calling Rob Van Dam out, followed by Sabu. As the two rivals stand far apart from one another, Heyman blames the both of them for losing the opportunity at the WWE Championship and is hereby suspending both of them indefinitely! Van Dam and Sabu are pissed as they're escorted to the back by security and Heyman announces a brand new ECW Championship! An 8-man tournament will begin tonight, and he hypes up the arrival of the new WWE Tag Team Champions The Dudley Boyz!
[THE TOURNAMENT] Chris Benoit vs. Jerry Lynn ? vs. Tommy Dreamer Mark Henry vs. The Great Khali Sandman vs. ?
- As Tommy Dreamer awaits his surprise opponent, here comes the Hardcore Legend himself, TERRY FUNK! Funk is in this tournament and he goes at Dreamer, but it's inevitably the Innovator of Violence advancing in this bracket to crown the new ECW Champion.
- Shelton Benjamin asks Paul Heyman about him being Sandman's opponent but Heyman shuns Benjamin for losing the Intercontinental Championship and tells him to blame his buddy, Charlie Haas.
- Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch are UPSET tonight by the Mexicools who get the crowd riled up after winning this tag match!
- Sabu and Rob Van Dam are pulled apart backstage after brawling with one another and again get escorted out of the arena.
- The Boogeyman makes quick work of Nunzio, and after the match, Vito runs down to save Nunzio from the aftermatch meal of worms.
- The Dudley Boyz are welcomed by Paul Heyman as he's ready to present Bubba Ray and D-Von with the new ECW Tag Team Championships. The presentation is going well, except Bubba Ray stops Heyman and says they didn't come back for ECW. D-Von then opens a briefcase for Heyman to see... the Dudley Boyz are signed to SmackDown. They don't leave the ring until they hit a 3-D on Heyman and leave with the WWE Tag Team Championships and the fans are booing them out of the ring.
- It's the main event and the second tournament matchup with Chris Benoit facing Jerry Lynn. It's a great technical match, only for Benoit to force Lynn to submit with a Crippler Crossface. Benoit faces Dreamer in the second round, but who will fill out that other spot in the opposite side of the bracket?
Friday Night SmackDown! - June 16, 2006 Trenton, NJ
- Teddy Long boasts about SmackDown besting both Raw and ECW this week, as he introduces the champions of SmackDown, including the newly signed WWE Tag Team Champion The Dudley Boyz! Long announces Fight Night Friday next week where all the championships will be on the line and who will be competing for these titles? We find out tonight! Teddy also announces a brand new Divas Championship, where there will be a tag team match to determine who will face off against one another.
- For a shot at the WWE Tag Team Titles, MNM faces off against La Resistance. Two very similar teams, but it's Melina's help on the outside that allows MNM to hit the Snapshot on Conway and force a title match against The Dudley Boyz next week.
- Announced as the competitors in a 6-Man Scramble tonight for a shot at Rey Mysterio: Big Show, Edge, Kurt Angle, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, and Chavo Guerrero. Chavo then stops by Rey in the locker room calling himself the underdog now because of the field he's with tonight, but promises Mysterio he'll be the one left standing.
- Beth Phoenix and Lita face off against Jillian Hall and Torrie Wilson which turns into a one-sided contest where it pits Phoenix and Lita against one another next week to become the first ever Divas Champion.
- Funaki, Jamie Noble, and Kid Kash all squared off to meet Gregory Helms next week for the Cruiserweight Championship, but it's Funaki scoring an upset win to take on Helms next week... Funaki can't believe it and threw back on the SmackDown! shirt in celebration, like he already won the Super Bowl.
- Bobby Lashley gets a first row seat by the fans to watch Carlito, Daivari, Finlay, and Kenny all battle to see who he'd wrestle next week. Carlito is about to spit the apple in Finlay's face, but Finlay ducks and it gets into Daivari's eyes. Finlay nails Carlito with the shillelagh and Kenny rolled Daivari up behind Finlay. Finlay noticed too late and KENNY steals the win and will wrestle Bobby Lashley for the United States Title next week.
- It's time for the main event... A 6-way scramble match between Show, Edge, Angle, Michaels, Taker, and Chavo. This match takes up almost the entirety of the second hour and things disintegrate into chaos. Angle and Shawn Michaels end up fighting through the crowd and nobody can separate those two, while Edge nearly ends things with hitting the Spear on Taker, but Show stops it at the last moment. Show is about to hit a Chokeslam on Edge when Chavo comes out of nowhere, and instead eats the Chokeslam himself. Big Show turns around and sidesteps a Spear, sending Edge into the corner shoulder-first for Big Show to hit a Chokeslam on Edge and pin him... setting up a MASSIVE David vs. Goliath match next week for the World Heavyweight Title. Rey Mysterio came to measure up his opponent and Big Show emphasizes the size differential as Mysterio's days as champion might be numbered.
