So in the wildest of dreams, TKO purchased the WWE - but didn't end there. Ari Emanuel was in discussion with all major wrestling companies (All Elite Wrestling, Major League Wrestling, National Wrestling Alliance, TNA Wrestling) about providing the same opportunity to them as well. What happened was a shock to the system: the entire wrestling industry is under one umbrella with TKO.
TKO pitched the benefit of advertising, television deals, merchandise sales, and the big one: talent flexibility.
Talent contracts are now converted under the TKO umbrella. Meaning, companies are still responsible for the contracts but rather than simply being extended or released from your contract, the wrestling world has acquired the ability to trade TKO contracts.
If you are under the TKO umbrella, you can now be traded to different companies.
TKO began to address what the wrestling world would look like, and they are taking over the entertainment industry like never before.
WWE ~ Monday Night Raw, Tuesday NXT, Friday Night SmackDown AEW ~ Wednesday Dynamite, Friday Rampage MLW ~ Tuesday Fusion TNA ~ Thursday Night Impact
The NWA will now just be defunct and carry the NWA titles across brands to allow some cross-over at the bigger TKO events.
