- Slammiversary commenced with Nic Nemeth as the TNA World Champion. We saw the Rascals vs No Quarter Catch Crew at this event, and we've seen several crossovers at NXT.

Ethan Page was attacked by Trick Williams and Je'Von Evans, only for Josh Alexander to come to NXT and reform The North. However, Je'Von Evans pinned Ethan Page in the tag match to set up a future title opportunity at No Mercy.
{TNA}
Moose takes time away, but Nic Nemeth goes through Frankie Kazarian and a robbed Joe Hendry, successful in both his title defenses, with a match against Joe Hendry at Emergence... where Trevor Lee returned to the company after his release from WWE earlier this year.
At Victory Road, Speedball Mike Bailey won the opportunity to challenge Nic Nemeth for the world title at Bound for Glory, but an injury quickly made him vacate his opportunity.

NXT held a Wednesday special "In Your House" where the title match was Ethan Page versus Trick Williams and Trick looked close to regain the title before both competitors were swarmed... and it was TNA! TNA's roster flooded the ring and while NXT talent came to fight them off, TNA stood tall being led by NIC NEMETH!
