Smackdown opens up with a video highlight of Raw's ending. Goldberg has signed with Smackdown! As the video ends, the signature pyro display goes off and Mauro Ranallo along with JBL, David Otunga, and Tom Phillips welcomes everyone to the show. Tonight we will see the debut of Bill Goldberg inside a Smackdown ring as he goes one on one with Luke Harper of the Wyatt Family in tonight's main event! Also tonight, Smackdown Women's Champion, Becky Lynch plans to call out Alexa Bliss regarding a possible rematch with the Women's title on the line! The Wyatt Family graphic goes off and the lights go dark. Bray Wyatt's theme hits and out he comes with Randy Orton, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan. As the Wyatts make their entrance, we get a replay from Survivor Series when Randy Orton took a Spear for Bray, which allowed Bray to capitalize and win the 5 on 5 Elimination match for Team Smackdown Live. We cut back live and Bray has a mic in hand. A single spotlight casts down on Bray and he speaks up. Bray says that the family couldn't be stronger than what they are right now. He says that each member is willing to take a bullet for each other, no matter what the situation is. He says that their bond is made of pure steel and with what Randy Orton did this past Sunday at Survivor Series, he now believes that Orton is what will keep the family together in a unforeseen future. Bray turns to Orton and tells him thank you. Bray says that he could continue to gloat and seek praise from the Smackdown Live management, but he isn't going to do that. But instead he seeks out another prize. Bray announces that he wants the WWE World Heavyweight Championship! The fans pop into a huge mixed reaction. Bray says that a new chapter is beginning and a king will finally find his crown. He says that the winner of the TLC match between AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose in two weeks will be the real loser, as they must prepare to face the Eater of Worlds! Bray let's out a sadistic laughter. He says that this isn't a warning or a promise. But it's something more. He says that it's his word, and that should terrify AJ and Ambrose. He says that soon a kingdom will follow the buzzards! Bray drops the mic, the Wyatt graphic goes off, and they've vanished. The commentary team talks about what Bray Wyatt just said and they all four agree that the winner at TLC may indeed be the real loser. Cameras cut backstage and Nikki Bella is walking with a mission. Nikki intends to find out who her attacker from Survivor Series was, next!

Back live and Nikki Bella makes her way out to a pop. She takes a mic and enters the ring. She asks for her music to be stopped because she wants to get straight down to business. She says she knows it was Carmella who attacked from behind like a coward this past Sunday. Nikki says that she's done playing the mind games and she won't stand for the sneak attacks any longer. Nikki tells Carmella to get her ass to the ring! The fans cheer Nikki on as she stands ready to fight. Carmella's theme hits and the arena fills with boos. Carmella has a mic in hand as she walks out onto the stage. She speaks up and tells Nikki that she has no plans to get into the ring with a roided up rage woman. Nikki is stunned at Carmella's comments. Carmella says that that's right! Another Nikki Bella cover up is out! Carmella says that the only reason Nikki was out for a shorter period than expected is because she cheated the system. Carmella says that she wasn't the one who attacked Nikki at Survivor Series but she does know who it was. Nikki tells Carmella to shut her mouth. Nikki slams her mic down and exits the ring. She storms up the ramp but from the crowd and behind comes Natalya! Natalya floors Nikki from behind. Carmella and Nikki begin stomping away at a defenseless Nikki! Natalya then applies the Sharpshooter on the ramp! Nikki yells in pain as Natalya applies the pressure. Carmella gets down to Nikki's level and grabs her by the hair. Carmella puts the mic up to Nikki's mouth as she screams out in pain. She then asks Nikki who the fearless one is now. Natalya lets go of the hold and Nikki writhes in pain as Carmella gloats over her. Shane McMahon, Daniel Bryan, and other officials rush out to tend to Nikki. Shane grabs a microphone and says that enough is enough. He says that sneak attacks are not going to happen on his show and if Carmella and Natalya want a fight, they're going to get one! Shane announces that Carmella will go one on one with Naomi and Natalya will go one on one with the Smackdown Live Women's Champion, Becky Lynch! Carmella and Natalya walk off proud as officials still tend to Nikki. Cameras fade away.
We get a shot of Goldberg's locker room door and his match against Luke Harper in tonight's main event is hyped up. Coming up next Kalisto takes on his rival, the Lone Wolf, Baron Corbin!

Kalisto vs. Baron Corbin
Kalisto is in the ring as we return from commercial. Baron Corbin comes out next and he is greeted by a sea of boos. Corbin has no care in the world of what the fans chant as he keeps his eyes dead on Kalisto. As Corbin steps into the ring, Kalisto goes on the attack, throwing a fury of low kicks to the legs and midsection. The bell sounds making the match official. Kalisto continues on his offense, but Corbin shows his power and he shoves Kalisto to the mat. Kalisto is quick to his feet and he runs at Corbin. Corbin with a back body drop! Wait no! Kalisto lands on his feet behind Corbin. Corbin throws an elbow but Kalisto ducks under it. Kalisto with a drop kick but the big man doesn't go down. Corbin reaches down at Kalisto's throat with both hands. He sends Kalisto flying across the ring with a choke toss! Kalisto pulls himself up in the corner but he is groggy. Baron Corbin runs at him and he flattens Kalisto in the corner with a clothesline. Corbin pulls Kalisto from the corner and lifts him up into a military press. He slams Kalisto right on his back! Kalisto writhes in pain as Corbin lets out a war cry, which generates a lot of heat from the crowd. Corbin goes for a cover. 1, 2, kick out! Kalisto just gets his shoulder up. Corbin yells at Kalisto to stay down! Baron Corbin hits the ropes and comes back for a leaping elbow drop! But Kalisto moves! Baron Corbin eats the mat elbow first! Corbin yells in pain as he tries to shake off the pain. He gets to a knee and Kalisto is up. Kalisto runs to the ropes and comes back at Corbin. Shining wizard! Corbin looks to be out! Kalisto covers! 1, 2, kick out! Kalisto can't believe it as he looks at the referee. He decides to head to the top rope! Baron Corbin starts to get up. Kalisto launches himself at Corbin! But Corbin catches him in mid air! End of Days! Corbin covers! 1, 2, 3!

Baron Corbin with a statement victory over Kalisto. The referee goes to raise Corbin's hand but he viciously pulls away from the ref and threatens him. The referee jumps out of the ring as Corbin stands tall.
Renee Young is standing by with Alexa Bliss as her guest. Renee asks Alexa if she once again has her eyes set on the Smackdown Women's Championship now that Survivor Series has passed. Alexa goes to answer but she's cut off almost immediately by Natalya. Alexa has a smug look on her face as Natalya approaches her and Renee with a smirk on her face. Natalya says that Alexa's chances of becoming the Women's Champion are over, because tonight a new #1 contender will be crowned after Natalya defeats Becky Lynch. Natalya calls Alexa a rookie who will never find her place in the spotlight. She then suggests Alexa go back to NXT and compete because she'll never be anything on Smackdown. Natalya walks off as Alexa looks furious.
Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan are talking backstage as the WWE Champion, AJ Styles approaches them. AJ says he wants to know if there is actually any truth to what Bray Wyatt said earlier tonight. Daniel Bryan tells AJ as he knows, Smackdown is the WWE's land of opportunity, and yes, there is plenty of truth to what Bray said. Shane brings up how Bray was the one who won the 5 on 5 Survivor Series match for team Smackdown. AJ shakes his head and tells the management team that they really need to rethink their decision on naming Bray Wyatt the #1 contender, he says that he's already focusing all of his attention on his opponent at TLC and that's Dean Ambrose. Daniel tells AJ that he's right, all of the attention should be on Dean Ambrose as he is the #1 contender but he has an idea. Daniel Bryan says that Bray Wyatt may not have to wait for after TLC to get a title shot. AJ looks puzzled and he worries about what's about to come next. Daniel Bryan says that next week's main event will be Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt. And if Bray Wyatt wins, then the TLC match for the WWE Championship will no longer be just AJ Styles versus Dean Ambrose. Bray Wyatt will be added to the title match. AJ starts yelling that they can't do that, but Shane and Daniel walk off as he continues to argue. Cameras fade off.
Carmella vs. Naomi
Naomi makes her entrance and she receives a pop. Out next is Carmella and the boos are deafening. We get a replay of the ambush attack on Nikki Bella by Carmella and Natalya from earlier tonight. Carmella gloats at her dirty work as cameras cut back to the ring. The bell sounds. The two women lock up! Carmella with a side headlock, but Naomi slips free and does a back flip to get away from Carmella. Carmella charges her and Naomi dips backwards matrix styles and Carmella completely misses. Naomi pops back up and hits a spinning wheel kick, taking Carmella down! Carmella retreats to the outside for a breather. Naomi goes to step out onto the apron but Carmella takes out her legs! Naomi cracks back first into the apron! Carmella pulls her to the outside and runs her back first into the apron once more! The ref yells to get the action back inside. Carmella puts Naomi back into the ring and she stalks her. Naomi tries to reach for a rope but Carmella kicks her arm out of the way. Naomi holds her arm and backs into the corner. Carmella taunts her then runs right at her. Carmella throws up her knee but Naomi rolls from the corner and Carmella hits her knee right into the corner turnbuckle pad! Naomi rolls her up! 1, 2, kick out! Both women are up. Carmella runs at Naomi and Naomi uses the corner to jump over Carmella. Carmella turns around right into a chop to the chest! Naomi with another chop! And another! Naomi hits the ropes and comes back at Carmella. Bull dog! Naomi covers! 1, 2, kick out! Naomi signals for the finish but Carmella rakes Naomi in the eye as she gets to her feet. Carmella plants Naomi with a DDT. Carmella then locks in the Code of Silence! Naomi tries to fight it but she taps.
Winner via submission: Carmella!
Carmella is announced the winner and as she gets to her feet, she mocks Nikki Bella by doing Nikki's twirl dance. The fans boo as Carmella looks proud and Smackdown goes to break.

Smackdown Tag Team Champions: Heath Slater & Rhyno vs. the Vaudevillians
Rhyno and Heath Slater get a huge pop as they make their way out. The Vaudevillains are out next and they look unimpressed at the Champions. The bell sounds and it's Heather Slater starting off with Aiden English. They lock up! Aiden English breaks away and taunts Slater. Slater taunts him back and does the exact same pose as English. Aiden English gets mad and he swings at Slater. But Slater ducks out of the way and he nails English with a shot of his own. He fights English to the ropes. Slater with an Irish whip. Aiden English bounces off the ropes and off the rebound, Heath Slater hits a hip toss! Slater makes a tag to Rhyno. Rhyno stalks Aiden English. And as English turns to face Rhyno, he is scoop slammed into the mat! Rhyno makes a cover. 1, 2, and Simon Gotch breaks it up. Rhyno gets to his feet and threatens Gotch. He turns back to face English. Aiden English throws a shot at Rhyno but Rhyno catches it and hits English instead! Rhyno throws English into his corner and tags in Slater. Heath Slater hops into the ring. Rhyno throws Slater at English! Body splash from Slater in the corner. He pulls English from the corner and hits a swining neck breaker in the center of the ring. Slater makes a cover! 1, 2, and Gotch again breaks up a pin fall! But this time he doesn't head back to the apron. Simon Gotch unloads on Heath Slater, prompting Rhyno to get in on the action. Gotch retreats as he sees Rhyno. The referee forces Rhyno to get back on the apron. Rhyno argues with the ref as the Vaudevillians hurry into a double team, and they suplex Heath Slater! Gotch heads back to the apron. As the ref turns back to the match, English makes the tag to Simon Gotch. Gotch enters the ring and hits a fury of stomps on Slater before making the cover. 1, 2, kick out! Gotch gets Slater to his feet and throws him to the corner. Gotch with a running shoulder to the gut. He throws Slater to the opposite corner and hits another running shoulder! English wants back in and Gotch tags. The Vaudevillians throw Slater to the ropes and hit a double arm drag! Gotch heads to the apron and English covers! 1, 2, kick out! Aiden English thought it was 3. He gets Slater up and taunts him, but Heath Slater from out of nowhere hits a leaping drop kick! Both men are down! They start crawling to their corners! Heath Slater makes it to Rhyno! Aiden English makes it to Simon Gotch! They enter the ring at the same time and charge each other! Gore! Rhyno hits the Gore on Simon Gotch! He hooks the leg! 1, 2, 3!

The Tag Team Champions vanquish the Vaudevillians. Rhyno grabs their titles and he then helps Heath Slater up and hands him his title. The Champions begin to celebrate their victory. But it's cut short as Konnor and Viktor of the Ascension appear on the titantron! Viktor says that he hopes Slater and Rhyno cherish the Smackdown Tag Team Titles, because they won't be holding them much longer. Konnor speaks up and says that the time of rising is upon us and the Ascension is coming for the Tag Team Championship. He tells Rhyno and Slater to watch each other's back. The tron fades off and Slater and Rhyno look up to the task as cameras fade away.
Dean Ambrose is backstage standing as Andrea D'Marco approaches him. She asks Ambrose on how he feels about facing Bray Wyatt next week, and if Bray wins, then he'll be added to the TLC WWE Championship match. Ambrose says that he and Bray Wyatt know each other so well from going to war with each other time and time again, but he says that he isn't scared of Bray Wyatt and his family of goons. He says that next week, the buzzards won't have anyone to follow when he's done with Bray Wyatt. The crowd cheers as Ambrose walks off
Smackdown Women's Champion, Becky Lynch vs. Natalya
Becky Lynch comes out first and the Women's Champion gets a huge ovation. Natalya comes out next and she has the same cocky smirk on her face as she did earlier. As Natalya makes her way down the ramp, she is blasted from behind! It's Alexa Bliss! Natalya gets to her feet and Alexa begins taking it to her with shot after shot! Natalya tries running away but Alexa isn't letting her escape. Alexa stays on her and chases her all the way to the back. Becky Lynch is shown laughing in the ring as Natalya got exactly what she deserved.

Luke Harper's theme hits and he comes out alone and he looks ready to do battle. He waits in the ring as the crowd begins chanting "Goldberg!" Goldberg's theme starts playing and the crowd goes nuts! The security detail is shown backstage and they knock at Goldberg's door. The door shoots open and Goldberg lets out a yell. He looks fired up as he marches out to the ring. The chants of his name continues as he finishes his entrance. The bell sounds. Harper walks to the center of the ring and he shows no fear. Harper tilts his head to the side and he glares at Goldberg with a deranged look on his face. Goldberg walks right up to Harper and hits a roundhouse to the gut! Goldberg starts unloading with a fury of shots and he takes Harper down. Luke Harper pulls himself back up quickly, but Goldberg stays on him. He snags Harper like a rag doll and hits a big back suplex! Harper goes to get up and again Goldberg is on him! Goldberg scoops Harper up below his waist and he rams him into the corner! Goldberg connects with shoulder after shoulder to the gut! The referee has to start up a 5 count but Goldberg breaks his attack at 4 then shoots the ref a look. The ref backs off but as Goldberg turns back to face Harper, Harper nails him with a hard right! Luke Harper stays on the attack and connects with one right hand after another. Harper then hits a super kick and lays Goldberg out! Harper quickly makes a cover! 1, kick out! Goldberg powers out! Harper scurries to his feet and he waits for Goldberg to get up. As Goldberg starts getting up, Harper spins into the Discus clothesline! But Goldberg shows incredible awareness and catches Harper's arm! Harper looks shocked as Goldberg glares into his eyes. AJ starts yelling that they can't do that, but Shane and Daniel walk off as he continues to argue. Cameras fade off.
Carmella vs. Naomi
Naomi makes her entrance and she receives a pop. Out next is Carmella and the boos are deafening. We get a replay of the ambush attack on Nikki Bella by Carmella and Natalya from earlier tonight. Carmella gloats at her dirty work as cameras cut back to the ring. The bell sounds. The two women lock up! Carmella with a side headlock, but Naomi slips free and does a back flip to get away from Carmella. Carmella charges her and Naomi dips backwards matrix styles and Carmella completely misses. Naomi pops back up and hits a spinning wheel kick, taking Carmella down! Carmella retreats to the outside for a breather. Naomi goes to step out onto the apron but Carmella takes out her legs! Naomi cracks back first into the apron! Carmella pulls her to the outside and runs her back first into the apron once more! The ref yells to get the action back inside. Carmella puts Naomi back into the ring and she stalks her. Naomi tries to reach for a rope but Carmella kicks her arm out of the way. Naomi holds her arm and backs into the corner. Carmella taunts her then runs right at her. Carmella throws up her knee but Naomi rolls from the corner and Carmella hits her knee right into the corner turnbuckle pad! Naomi rolls her up! 1, 2, kick out! Both women are up. Carmella runs at Naomi and Naomi uses the corner to jump over Carmella. Carmella turns around right into a chop to the chest! Naomi with another chop! And another! Naomi hits the ropes and comes back at Carmella. Bull dog! Naomi covers! 1, 2, kick out! Naomi signals for the finish but Carmella rakes Naomi in the eye as she gets to her feet. Carmella plants Naomi with a DDT. Carmella then locks in the Code of Silence! Naomi tries to fight it but she taps.
Winner via submission: Carmella!
Carmella is announced the winner and as she gets to her feet, she mocks Nikki Bella by doing Nikki's twirl dance. The fans boo as Carmella looks proud and Smackdown goes to break.

Smackdown is back live and we get more hype for Goldberg versus Luke Harper.
Smackdown Tag Team Champions: Heath Slater & Rhyno vs. the Vaudevillians
Rhyno and Heath Slater get a huge pop as they make their way out. The Vaudevillains are out next and they look unimpressed at the Champions. The bell sounds and it's Heather Slater starting off with Aiden English. They lock up! Aiden English breaks away and taunts Slater. Slater taunts him back and does the exact same pose as English. Aiden English gets mad and he swings at Slater. But Slater ducks out of the way and he nails English with a shot of his own. He fights English to the ropes. Slater with an Irish whip. Aiden English bounces off the ropes and off the rebound, Heath Slater hits a hip toss! Slater makes a tag to Rhyno. Rhyno stalks Aiden English. And as English turns to face Rhyno, he is scoop slammed into the mat! Rhyno makes a cover. 1, 2, and Simon Gotch breaks it up. Rhyno gets to his feet and threatens Gotch. He turns back to face English. Aiden English throws a shot at Rhyno but Rhyno catches it and hits English instead! Rhyno throws English into his corner and tags in Slater. Heath Slater hops into the ring. Rhyno throws Slater at English! Body splash from Slater in the corner. He pulls English from the corner and hits a swining neck breaker in the center of the ring. Slater makes a cover! 1, 2, and Gotch again breaks up a pin fall! But this time he doesn't head back to the apron. Simon Gotch unloads on Heath Slater, prompting Rhyno to get in on the action. Gotch retreats as he sees Rhyno. The referee forces Rhyno to get back on the apron. Rhyno argues with the ref as the Vaudevillians hurry into a double team, and they suplex Heath Slater! Gotch heads back to the apron. As the ref turns back to the match, English makes the tag to Simon Gotch. Gotch enters the ring and hits a fury of stomps on Slater before making the cover. 1, 2, kick out! Gotch gets Slater to his feet and throws him to the corner. Gotch with a running shoulder to the gut. He throws Slater to the opposite corner and hits another running shoulder! English wants back in and Gotch tags. The Vaudevillians throw Slater to the ropes and hit a double arm drag! Gotch heads to the apron and English covers! 1, 2, kick out! Aiden English thought it was 3. He gets Slater up and taunts him, but Heath Slater from out of nowhere hits a leaping drop kick! Both men are down! They start crawling to their corners! Heath Slater makes it to Rhyno! Aiden English makes it to Simon Gotch! They enter the ring at the same time and charge each other! Gore! Rhyno hits the Gore on Simon Gotch! He hooks the leg! 1, 2, 3!
Winners via pin fall: Smackdown Tag Team Champions, Heath Slater & Rhyno!
The Tag Team Champions vanquish the Vaudevillians. Rhyno grabs their titles and he then helps Heath Slater up and hands him his title. The Champions begin to celebrate their victory. But it's cut short as Konnor and Viktor of the Ascension appear on the titantron! Viktor says that he hopes Slater and Rhyno cherish the Smackdown Tag Team Titles, because they won't be holding them much longer. Konnor speaks up and says that the time of rising is upon us and the Ascension is coming for the Tag Team Championship. He tells Rhyno and Slater to watch each other's back. The tron fades off and Slater and Rhyno look up to the task as cameras fade away.
Dean Ambrose is backstage standing as Andrea D'Marco approaches him. She asks Ambrose on how he feels about facing Bray Wyatt next week, and if Bray wins, then he'll be added to the TLC WWE Championship match. Ambrose says that he and Bray Wyatt know each other so well from going to war with each other time and time again, but he says that he isn't scared of Bray Wyatt and his family of goons. He says that next week, the buzzards won't have anyone to follow when he's done with Bray Wyatt. The crowd cheers as Ambrose walks off
Smackdown Women's Champion, Becky Lynch vs. Natalya
Becky Lynch comes out first and the Women's Champion gets a huge ovation. Natalya comes out next and she has the same cocky smirk on her face as she did earlier. As Natalya makes her way down the ramp, she is blasted from behind! It's Alexa Bliss! Natalya gets to her feet and Alexa begins taking it to her with shot after shot! Natalya tries running away but Alexa isn't letting her escape. Alexa stays on her and chases her all the way to the back. Becky Lynch is shown laughing in the ring as Natalya got exactly what she deserved.

Luke Harper vs. Goldberg
Luke Harper's theme hits and he comes out alone and he looks ready to do battle. He waits in the ring as the crowd begins chanting "Goldberg!" Goldberg's theme starts playing and the crowd goes nuts! The security detail is shown backstage and they knock at Goldberg's door. The door shoots open and Goldberg lets out a yell. He looks fired up as he marches out to the ring. The chants of his name continues as he finishes his entrance. The bell sounds. Harper walks to the center of the ring and he shows no fear. Harper tilts his head to the side and he glares at Goldberg with a deranged look on his face. Goldberg walks right up to Harper and hits a roundhouse to the gut! Goldberg starts unloading with a fury of shots and he takes Harper down. Luke Harper pulls himself back up quickly, but Goldberg stays on him. He snags Harper like a rag doll and hits a big back suplex! Harper goes to get up and again Goldberg is on him! Goldberg scoops Harper up below his waist and he rams him into the corner! Goldberg connects with shoulder after shoulder to the gut! The referee has to start up a 5 count but Goldberg breaks his attack at 4 then shoots the ref a look. The ref backs off but as Goldberg turns back to face Harper, Harper nails him with a hard right! Luke Harper stays on the attack and connects with one right hand after another. Harper then hits a super kick and lays Goldberg out! Harper quickly makes a cover! 1, kick out! Goldberg powers out! Harper scurries to his feet and he waits for Goldberg to get up. As Goldberg starts getting up, Harper spins into the Discus clothesline! But Goldberg shows incredible awareness and catches Harper's arm! Harper looks shocked as Goldberg glares into his eyes. Goldberg yells in Harper's face before shoving him away and as Harper gets up, Goldberg flattens him with a Spear! Goldberg signals for the end and he gets Harper up! Jackhammer! Goldberg covers! 1, 2, 3!

Goldberg is victorious in his first match on Smackdown Live! It's noted that he dominated too, just like his match against Brock Lesnar this past Sunday at Survivor Series. Goldberg celebrates his victory as he stands tall over Harper. Danie Bryan and Shane McMahon are backstage watching on a monitor and they look very impressed. Is there anyone on the Smackdown roster or even in WWE that can match Smackdown's newest Superstar!? Goldberg celebrates as Smackdown goes off the air.
