August 25 2016 SmackDown tonight began with Mick Foley in the ring, and the new man in charge introduced the man coming off an unjust suspension, Cesaro! The crowd stood on its feet to welcome Cesaro warmly, and after a few sentences about how long it's been since he's been in a WWE ring, here comes Seth Rollins, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Rollins calls Foley out on Cesaro getting a title match off a suspension, that it doesn't send a good message to the locker room. Cesaro stole the window from Foley to say he's been training this entire time and is in the prime of his career. Seth begged to differ, when Foley mentioned Cesaro could prove it tonight against the man who beat Seth on Raw, Sami Zayn! Foley then rushed the guys out of the ring for a WWE Tag Team Championships match to kick off SmackDown!
The Dudley Boyz(c) def. The Usos to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships A great rematch between the two teams ended in a 3-D on Jey Uso to retain their belts.
Kaval and Emma were walking into the arena and were approached by Tom Phillips, asking about tonight's Fatal-4 Way. Emma decided to talk in place of Kaval and said her boyfriend has had two stints in WWE and has yet to get an opportunity like this. Emma said Kaval was NXT before NXT was cool, and claimed Kaval's victory for later tonight. Kaval added he'll stop the hearts of each three tonight, when R-Truth popped up and made a remark about making Emma's heart skip a beat when he beat her man on Monday. This enraged Kaval, but Truth went away before anything broke down in the parking lot.
The Homage came to the ring and spoke about this past Monday and say Taylor W. Rotunda was put in a ridiculous situation, but was overcoming it until Ambrose and Reigns came out to the ring. Cody Rhodes called Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns to the ring, and they did come out, and Dean challenged them to one-on-one action, suggesting everyone else would leave. Cody, about to accept, had the microphone stolen from him by Joe Hennig who wanted to take on Ambrose next while the others headed towards the back.
Dean Ambrose def. Joe Hennig With the ringside area cleared, Ambrose was able to top Hennig with a Dirty Deeds delivered.
Backstage, Cesaro is taking the top piece of his suit off when Sami Zayn walks in the locker room. Zayn says he's glad Cesaro is back, and is even more excited to have Cesaro's first match back, citing their classics in NXT. Zayn put up front he's challenging Luke Harper and getting his Intercontinental Championship back at Night of Champions, but if he can beat Cesaro tonight, there's no reason he can't hold the Intercontinental AND World Heavyweight Championships at the same time. Cesaro senses the threat, assuring Zayn he can't get past him.
Braun Strowman def. Jeff Hardy A seasoned veteran in Jeff Hardy didn't have an answer for Jeff Hardy, receiving a chokeslam to the mat.
Kalisto is being interviewed by Tom Phillips about tonight's opportunity in the Fatal-4 Way and mentions his heart and the lucha libre style. Kalisto says his last opportunity came with the Wrestling Classic in April and feels he's made the strives in order to contend with the big dogs, but says it's not about the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog. Titus O'Neil then comes up and asks why he wasn't scheduled for an interview, then stating the obvious that he IS the biggest dog in the fight, and size matters. Titus asks how Kalisto can be the heavyweight champion if he's not even a heavyweight, and then promises he'll make it to Night of Champions as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion before pushing Kalisto out of the way and headed onward.
Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady came out for their shtick and their SmackDown debut!
Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady def. The Ascension In a duel between former NXT Tag Team Champions, Enzo and Cass won their first SmackDown match with an Empire Elbow by Cass followed by a springboard splash of Enzo.
While R-Truth and Kaval made their ways to the ring, Kalisto was coming out and was attacked from behind by Titus O'Neil. This is how the match started.
Kalisto def. Kaval, R-Truth, and Titus O'Neil in a #1 Contenders Match To earn a title opportunity on Raw against Seth Rollins, Kalisto overcame the odds in a Fatal-4 Way by hitting a Salida del Sol on Titus for the win.
With Kalisto's victory, the commentators were able to slide in an advert for Raw this Monday before the main event. They mention Kalisto facing Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, as well as Randy Orton's first appearance since SummerSlam.
Cesaro vs. Sami Zayn This epic contest ends with Seth Rollins coming out and swinging a steel chair around. Luke Harper comes out to help and the two champions laid Cesaro and Zayn out to end SmackDown.
Watching backstage, Mick Foley sees Vince McMahon walk into his office with a disappointed look. Vince said it was a great card with great intentions, but can't end the main event on that. Vince wished Mick the best of luck containing those rascals.

August 29 2016 Mick Foley began tonight's Raw after a video package recapped his first week in charge. Mick Foley reminds the fans of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship defense tonight between Seth Rollins and the ultimate underdog, Kalisto. Foley also mentions SmackDown and Rollins interrupting the main event of Sami Zayn and Cesaro. Foley brings the two individuals out, remembering their 2-of-3 Falls Match several years ago at NXT, saying majority of the WWE fans never saw it... until tonight. Foley calls a referee down, and with both agreeing to it, makes a 2-of-3 Falls Match to kick off Raw tonight.
Cesaro def. Sami Zayn in a 2-of-3 Falls Match Cesaro had fallen to a Helluva Kick the first fall, but battled back with a Very European Uppercut in the second fall and a Neutralizer for the final call in an outstanding opening contest.
After their match, Cesaro helps Sami Zayn to his feet and shake hands with him before tuning to the backstage area. Seth Rollins is attempting to convince Mick Foley out of the main event tonight, but Foley denies the plea and assures the match will go down tonight.
Hideo Itami w/Finn Bálor def. Kofi Kingston w/Big E and Xavier Woods Ducking Trouble in Paradise, Hideo Itami comes back with a Shotgun Kick for the big victory.
Charlotte def. Brie Bella in a non-title match Charlotte ended Brie just like Natalya last week, with a Natural Selection to win.
Staying in the ring, Charlotte boasted about her dominance over the WWE the past year. Charlotte says Night of Champions is coming up next month, which will mark one year holding the championship. Charlotte vows there is nobody around to challenge her, but that's when the Bella music hits. With Brie already in the ring, we turn to the ramp where Nikki Bella emerges. To the dismay of Charlotte, Nikki Bella points down to Charlotte and signals a championship back around her waist. We haven't seen Nikki in a solid year! Not since she lost the championship originally to Charlotte.
Kalisto is receiving an interview backstage with Renee Young and pours his heart out about his dream coming true tonight with an opportunity to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Kalisto cites Rey Mysterio as an inspiration when the world champion Seth Rollins steps up to the plate. Rollins insists that Rey Mysterio is a smart individual and would realize when he's too big for his britches, suggesting Kalisto to back out tonight. Kalisto told Seth there's no way and will become the new world champion tonight. Seth scoffs, shakes his head, and walks out.
The Dudley Boyz def. The Usos in a non-title match In a non-title match between these teams, The Dudley Boyz go out on top again with Bubba Ray hitting a Powerbomb off the top rope on Jey Uso.
Watching the previous match on the monitor, Finn and Hideo stake their claim to competing for the tag titles and dethroning The Dudley Boyz.
Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, two former tag team champions in their own right, head to the ring for tag team action next. Their opponents, The Vaudevillians, are entering the ring when Ambrose and Reigns are attacked from behind by all 3 members of The Homage, who jumped the barricade. The Vaudevillians freeze until sliding in the ring and joining in on the attack. We then hear Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady's theme as a fresh tag team on the scene rush to the ring to join the fight. Eventually, Ambrose, Reigns, Amore, and Cassady have all cleared the ring and stand tall.
Charlotte is seen rolling her bags out when Renee Young tries to catch a word from the Divas Champion after Nikki Bella's return after a year. Charlotte declined to answer any questions and kept marching out the door.
Seth Rollins(c) def. Kalisto to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship When it came down to the main event, Rollins was rocked early, but after beginning to take Kalisto seriously, Seth won with an aggressive Pedigree.
As Seth Rollins celebrated his title defense, Cesaro's music hit and he came out to the ramp to remind Rollins he's next in line. Seth elects to send a message by picking Kalisto back up and trying for another Pedigree, but Cesaro rushes the ring and Rollins retreats before anything else can happen. Cesaro stays knelt at Kalisto until Raw goes off the air.

September 1 2016 SmackDown tonight began with The Bella Twins after Nikki's resurgence this past Monday on Raw. Nikki addressed her year-long absence, being able to heal and rest after a long tenure in WWE and to clear her head. Nikki claimed she has a lot left in her and feels she'll show no signs of ring rust. Nikki reminds she never got her rematch for the Divas Championship and intends to cash in on September 25th at Night of Champions. Mick Foley steps in and publicly welcomes Nikki Bella back to the ring and lets her know she can wrestle at Night of Champions for Charlotte's title. The Divas Champion then came and answered the call, pleading to Mick there's a 30-day expiration on rematch clauses. Foley then reminded Charlotte he's doing what The Authority never truly did, and that is best for business, having the longest reigning champion defending against the second-longest reigning. Charlotte asks Nikki if she can compete tonight, because she's already beaten Brie this year. Brie challenges Charlotte to a match to kick off SmackDown, a rematch from Monday, and Foley makes it official, although Charlotte is difficult to comply.
Brie Bella w/Nikki Bella def. Charlotte in a non-title match Though the champion nearly took it with a Figure 8, Nikki hopped up on the apron and got Charlotte's attention, allowing for Brie to roll Charlotte up from behind to steal a win.
While Nikki and Brie scurried up the ramp, we turn it to the back where Neville approaches Mick Foley in his office, as the United States Champion is concerned over who is competing for his championship at Night of Champions in 3 weeks. Mick Foley throws the names out like Samoa Joe, Ryback, Jeff Hardy, and Braun Strowman. At that moment, Kevin Owens waltzes in and mentions he's the Prizefighter and needs to be on the card for Night of Champions. Foley asked if Owens was submitting his name to compete against Neville, but Owens asked for a legit challenge. Neville is offended by the remark, which gets Neville to challenge Kevin Owens to a match tonight, falling into his trap when he accepts.
Alberto Del Rio def. Daniel Bryan Bryan made a mental error that led to Del Rio getting the Cross Armbreaker in for Bryan to have no choice but to submit.
Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns are backstage with Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady, as the two teams have been placed in an 8-man tag tonight against The Homage and The Vaudevillians. The two teams are being friendly when The Homage and Vaudevillians come up to stir trouble when the two teams have to be separated and told to go to the ring, so their match is next!
Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, Enzo Amore, and Colin Cassady vs. The Vaudevillians and The Homage w/Joe Hennig This match is called a no contest when Joe Hennig hops in the ring, attacking Roman Reigns, ensuing chaos.
Kalisto is being interviewed by Tom Phillips about Monday's title opportunity and acknowledges he fell short, but wants to use it as a learning experience. Seth Rollins walks by, laughing, saying he warned him beforehand. Seth says Kalisto isn't on his skill level and never will be, so not to even try. Kalisto said practice made perfect and challenged Seth to a match tonight. Rollins was tempted not to agree, but felt he could use the "squash" before walking away.
Kevin Owens def. Neville in a non-title match This match was dead even, but could have went the champ's way toward the end but Owens lifted the knees up on Neville's Red Arrow, got up and threw Neville into the ropes for a Popup Powerbomb for a big win.
Finn Balor and Hideo Itami def. The Usos Balor and Itami surprisingly made quick work out of The Usos by Itami's Shotgun Kick followed by Balor's Coup de Grâce on Jey Uso.
As Finn and Hideo celebrated and Jimmy chewed out his brother Jey on the off-night, we go backstage where Mick Foley is in his office when Samoa Joe walks in. Samoa Joe asks why he didn't get an opportunity against Neville tonight, and though Foley is caught off guard, before he can muster a response Joe is already demanding a match against Neville this Monday. Mick grants the request, citing the fans will love to see that. Joe commends Mick Foley for being understanding and walks out more calm than he came in.
Kalisto vs. Seth Rollins After last week's ending to SmackDown, Cesaro returns the favor coming out with a steel chair, striking Seth in the gut and nearly hitting a Neutralizer on it, but Rollins squirmed out of Cesaro's grasp.
This scene of Cesaro and Rollins spouting off words again from a distance is how SmackDown closes for the week.

September 5 2016 Raw began tonight with The Vaudevillians in the ring, and they introduced The Homage. Cody Rhodes took most of the mic time after that, challenging Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns to a match at Night of Champions. This was answered with Reigns and Ambrose coming out of the ramp and accepting that challenge, but then Enzo and Colin come out, Enzo Amore acting wildly. Enzo says they had a 5-on-5 scheduled tonight and was tasked by Mick Foley to search high and low for a 5th partner. Enzo introduces him from down in NXT, it's Tye Dillinger! The Perfect 10 heads out to an uproar from the crowd and walks down with the two tag teams for 5-on-5 action, first to a fall.
Colin Cassady, Enzo Amore, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and Tye Dillinger def. The Homage and The Vaudevillians In 5-on-5 action, Tye Dillinger finds the fall in his debut against Aiden with a Tye Breaker.
As Tye Dillinger celebrated with the two teams in the ring after a massive debut, we cut backstage to Cesaro stepping through the employee entrance and into the building when he's approached by Renee Young who breaks the news to the WWE Universe that Cesaro is main eventing against Randy Orton, who hasn't wrestled since SummerSlam. Cesaro mentioned he's still getting over ring rust from not competing since WrestleMania, so Orton should be fine competing tonight for the first time in a few weeks. Cesaro says he's focused on September 25th when he wrestles for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and unlike Orton, successfully takes it away.
The Dudley Boyz def. The Ascension in a non-title match A 3-D put the big Konnor in his place as the 10-time and reigning champions succeed.
Immediately after their win, The Dudley Boyz have their music cease and get the microphones. Bubba Ray calls out the tandem of Finn Balor and Hideo Itami, and after the two enter the ring with respect, The Dudley Boyz bring up Finn and Hideo's challenge this past Thursday on SmackDown. They lay down a challenge for a non-title match on SmackDown this week, citing if they can beat the 10-time champions, they deserve a title opportunity at Night of Champions. Balor and Itami thankfully accept and shake the hands of Bubba Ray and D-Von before The Dudley Boyz get their music playing again.
Backstage, Randy Orton is seen exiting a locker room and walking down the hall when Renee Young heads up to him. Renee recalls what Cesaro said in his interview earlier and what is Randy's thoughts about going into a match tonight, his first since SummerSlam, and where his head is at. Randy just stares at Renee, filled with inquiries, and chooses to walk away with unspoken words.
Kevin Owens def. Jeff Hardy A good match ends in Owens lifting his knees on the Swanton Bomb attempt and then throwing Jeff Hardy into the ropes for a Popup Powerbomb.
After his victory, Owens has a mic in his hand and refers back to SmackDown where his match tonight ironically ends in the same way. Kevin Owens doesn't know why Jeff Hardy was even considered for an Intercontinental Championship reign. Kevin mentioned the last time he was a champion in WWE, the product has been more watchable. Owens has had a few days to think about it, and even if he has to be a champion of an inferior country like America, he'll do just that. Owens wants a match against Neville at Night of Champions for the United States Championship.
Tye Dillinger is backstage with Renee Young after his debut, and Renee asked how it felt, and Tye was overwhelmed by the reaction from the crowd, and it's all he's ever worked for in his life. Renee asked what is next and Tye is grateful for the opportunity, but feels there's still some unfinished business in NXT, when he challenges NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura on the spot.
Braun Strowman def. R-Truth It's a quick squash, making Truth pass out from a lifting arm triangle choke.
We see a Wyatt prelude into Bray Wyatt's interview in a dark space. Bray Wyatt speaks on what has been happening with Cesaro and Seth Rollins, and then Kevin Owens wanting the United States Championship, and Balor and Itami overshooting for an impossible tag team title reign. Bray tells them not to worry, because he holds the fate of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in his hands, and because of that, holds the entire WWE in his hands. Bray promises to change the WWE forever and for the WWE Universe to be patient, before ending this with telling everyone to "Follow the Buzzards".
Brie Bella def. Emma w/Kaval Nikki announces on commentary her in-ring return is this Thursday on SmackDown against Naomi. Nikki leaves the table when she sees Kaval trying to cheat for his girlfriend, and Nikki attacks Kaval for Brie to get Emma in a Yes Lock to win.
Sami Zayn def. Dolph Ziggler Zayn and Ziggler dual for a few minutes and Zayn, who was fired up for some reason, hit a couple Helluva Kicks on Ziggler to win this match.
Mick Foley is in his office when Kevin Owens walks in and asks if Foley saw him in the ring tonight, and then asked if Foley's going to do the right thing and give him the title match. Mick says he isn't convinced it is the right thing, because Owens, though a foreigner, has no respect for the United States Championship. Mick says Neville isn't from America but puts his heart and soul into the championship and this country, and that's what the United States Champion must stand for. Owens says he beat Neville last week so he's first in line. Foley then mentions he'll meet "second in line" on SmackDown, Ryback, in a #1 Contenders Match. Owens isn't thrilled having to prove himself worthy again, but shrugs it off.
Cesaro def. Randy Orton The #1 contender was pushed to his limits but countered an RKO, pushing Orton into the ropes and hitting a Very European Uppercut, then quickly getting Orton into a Neutralizer to pin The Viper.
Cesaro celebrated at the end, signaling to the fans that he'll be the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion, the one to finally end Seth's reign.

Noted from NXT
NXT for September 7th was a huge one you did not want to miss!
Third-generation superstar Tessa Blanchard, daughter of the WWE Hall of Famer and Horseman Tully Blanchard, debuted at Full Sail. Tessa defeated Peyton Royce in competition.
Tye Dillinger, after debuting on Raw a couple nights before, called out NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, but Tyler Breeze took issues with this. As Master Tyler Breeze came out with Fandango closely behind and tried explaining to Dillinger he's not championship material, then Baron Corbin came out and recalled beating Fandango at NXT Takeover Brooklyn. This led to a triple threat between Breeze, Corbin, and Dillinger to determine the #1 contender tonight, one where Tye Dillinger upset and pinned Prince Pretty, this after a Tye Breaker.

September 8 2016 Mick Foley, in a message from his office, said what a big night it was for SmackDown, involving a tag team match between Finn Balor and Hideo Itami and the WWE Tag Team Champion Dudley Boyz, as well as Kevin Owens versus Ryback for the right to face Neville at Night of Champions for the gold, as well as Nikki Bella's in-ring return for the first time in a year. In the ring, Sami Zayn came out and said he's fed up with the Wyatt Family, and in particular, Luke Harper who attacked him a couple weeks ago on SmackDown. Zayn demands he get a match with Luke Harper, but Bray Wyatt comes out, not with Harper but Erick Rowan, saying Rowan is in his path if he wants to get to Luke Harper and the Intercontinental Championship.
Sami Zayn def. Erick Rowan w/Bray Wyatt Though challenged, Zayn put Erick Rowan away, forcing him to tap to the Koji Clutch.
Kevin Owens gets an interview with Tom Phillips and Owens remains upset he'd be wrestling tonight, rather than being rewarded with the United States Championship match upfront. The champion overhears this and Neville walks up and interrupts. Neville says this is exactly why he should NOT be United States Champion, let alone be in the conversation. Owens told Neville he'll remember that, and thanks for fueling the fire, as he pats Neville on the shoulder and walks by.
Finn Balor and Hideo Itami def. The Dudley Boyz in a non-title match It took an even bout before Itami caught Bubba Ray slip up and get the win on a small package to get a title shot at Night of Champions.
Cesaro enters the office of Mick Foley and asks where Seth Rollins has been, when Foley says Seth had to take care of business and asked for the week off. Cesaro didn't believe it, but Foley says he can send Seth Rollins a message tonight if he wants. Mick proposes Cesaro wrestle Dolph Ziggler in the main event, which Cesaro amazingly agrees to.
Naomi def. Nikki Bella w/Brie Bella Nikki was impressive in her in-ring return, but Charlotte's attack on Brie outside the ring distracted Nikki and she got a Rear View to the back of the head, losing her match.
Tye Dillinger heads to Mick Foley's office and asked about getting on the card this Monday. Foley said Dillinger he watched NXT last night, and applauded Dillinger for becoming the #1 contender to the NXT Championship. This quickly turns sideways, Foley saying that Dillinger was handed a golden opportunity, to be a WWE superstar, yet he wanted to settle for a NXT Championship match. Foley says when it comes to Raw and SmackDown, for Dillinger not to show up until he's done at NXT. Dillinger, hurt and confused, walks out with his head down after making a monumental career mistake with the new man in charge.
Kevin Owens def. Ryback In his efforts to become the #1 contender for Neville's United States Championship, Owens uses a Popup Powerbomb to put down Ryback and head to Night of Champions.
The Homage, as a trio, deliver a very Shield-like message with a handheld camera and challenge Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to come to Raw on Monday night... but to come alone.
Cesaro def. Dolph Ziggler The #1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship owned Ziggler, not only beating him, but hitting a Pedigree to do it, sending a clear message to the champ as SmackDown goes off air.

September 12 2016 This Raw opened with Seth Rollins, after the WWE World Heavyweight Champion took last week off. Rollins talked for several minutes about his successful title reign, beginning at WrestleMania 31, but acknowledging his successful title defense at WrestleMania 32 a year later, which leads to in 2 weeks, Night of Champions, against Cesaro. Seth is going on about how the result will be no different and the rust of his opponent when Cesaro interrupts. Cesaro came down and said while Seth is getting time off, he's been in the ring and feels in more prime physical shape. This intense exchange of words got Mick Foley out of his office to announce that tonight's main event would be Cesaro and United States Champion Neville versus Kevin Owens and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, getting both competitors in the ring.
After commercial, Nikki Bella comes out with twin sister Brie by her side. Nikki mentions Charlotte's cheap shot on SmackDown last week that led to her being restrained in the back and with Charlotte nowhere in sight, she's going to prove she is ready to compete for the Divas Championship. However, after Naomi's entrance, the referee obliges to Naomi's request and sends Brie Bella to the back as well for a 1-on-1 encounter to begin Raw.
Nikki Bella vs. Naomi With a win in sight, Nikki is attacked from behind by a hooded figure, shown with the right camera angle to be none other than Paige!
Paige would attack Naomi before focusing more in on Nikki Bella, and setting up for Paige-Turner when Brie rushed to the ring. Paige would pull the trigger and slide out of dodge as Brie was getting to her sister, as Paige exits. This is the first time Paige, a mentor to Charlotte, has been seen since suffering an eye injury at SummerSlam.
Backstage, Sami Zayn is meeting up with Mick Foley about getting a shot at Luke Harper's Intercontinental Championship. Foley cited Zayn getting past Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam and Erick Rowan last week on SmackDown, so he's on his way there. Foley said he feels Zayn has earned the right to face Luke Harper, but a guy from creative pitched a good idea. Foley says tonight it'll be Sami Zayn versus the third member of the Wyatt Family, Braun Strowman. Zayn shows an ounce of fear as he gulps and walks out to prepare.
The Dudley Boyz def. The New Day w/Xavier Woods in a non-title match Hitting the 3-D on Kofi Kingston, The Dudley Boyz succeed.
Divas Champion Charlotte is in her locker room when the door opens and she greets Paige. The two are ecstatic about earlier when Renee Young walks in to interview Charlotte and Paige. Paige says this was in the works, and advises Nikki Bella to quit while she still has some pride left. Charlotte tells Renee that Nikki should not be upset, because this play is what her entire career's been based on. Charlotte says she plays the game better than her, and that's because she's the daughter of the dirtiest player in the game, then ending the segment on a WOO!
Sami Zayn def. Braun Strowman via Countout Zayn used his resources by clearing the announce table and putting Strowman through with a Moonsault, then making it in before the 10 count, something Braun failed to do.
Sami Zayn took a lot from that moonsault to the announce table, but Luke Harper appeared and attacked his new challenger. Luke Harper laid Zayn out with a Discus Clothesline before holding the Intercontinental Championship high in the air.
Backstage, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns are standing by with Renee Young, who asks them about The Homage's message on SmackDown. Ambrose realized they're trying to get in their heads, while Reigns calls them "Shield posers". Dean says they'll go out and see what they want... After commercial, they do just that. Ambrose and Reigns stand in wait, when The Homage walk down the ramp. The Homage's simple reason was to request a match with Ambrose and Reigns at Night of Champions. They mentioned no party involved being one currently, but they recited their lineage and the title history there, while mentioning Ambrose and Reigns being former tag team champions, but as a jab. Dean quickly accepted and wanted a headstart, but Reigns held his brother in check. Cody Rhodes, knowing they got to him, backed his guys away and said they'll save it for two weeks.
Mick Foley is discussing business with someone who works backstage when Tye Dillinger heads up to him. Foley asks how he got in the building, and while Dillinger tries pleading his case, Foley hollers for security. Tye tries explaining his actions and apologizing, but security gets Dillinger walking in the other direction.
Kalisto def. Sheamus Kalisto got a match on Raw, weeks after challenging Seth Rollins, and got the win with a Salida del Sol.
Kevin Owens and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins are seen discussing strategy for tonight's main event, but things get heated when they disagree and they are at a disagreement when cameras go away.
Colin Cassady and Enzo Amore def. The Vaudevillians The team of Colin and Enzo work out to perfection when Cassady hits the Empire Elbow on Aiden, and that's all she wrote.
The Dudley Boyz get an interview with Renee Young after a big win over The New Day, as they mention having to compete with the younger teams to stay young, and that's what happened tonight with The New Day. Then Finn Balor and Hideo Itami walk up, mentioning they aren't young, but highly experienced. The Dudley Boyz refute that, listing all their accolades and accomplishments. Balor then says what separates them is heart, saying he and Itami want it more. This tips D-Von, who highly objects to that, and calls these guys disrespectful and they'll get what's coming to them. Turning from this, we see Cesaro and the United States Champion Neville talking, preparing for their main event next.
Cesaro and Neville def. Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins This match took forever, but when Kevin Owens saw the going get tough and walked out on the match, Neville and Cesaro took advantage with a Frankensteiner by Neville, followed by Cesaro's Neutralizer to pin the world champion.
The United States Champion Neville celebrated, though wanting to get his hands on Kevin Owens more, while Cesaro celebrated for the both of them after pinning the world champion just two weeks away from his big title opportunity, and this is how Raw goes off the air.
