October 3 2016 Seth Rollins, the number 1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, heads out with something on his mind. Rollins admits to having no clue what a Valley of Shadows Deathmatch is, but is willing to take it on at Rage in the Cage, accepting the champion Bray's unique stipulation. This prompts Bray Wyatt to pop up on the screen with an attempt to instill more fear into his challenger before October 30th. Bray mentions the steel cage above Seth's head in the ring, and Rollins looks up at a regular steel cage. Bray Wyatt lets Seth know he's in the main event tonight, a Steel Cage match against Braun Strowman. Rollins looks fearful, but gulps for tonight.
Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns def. The Homage w/Cody Rhodes Ambrose hit a Dirty Deeds on Rotunda to put this contest away.
As Cody and Joe helped Taylor W. Rotunda to the back, who was having trouble standing up, Ambrose and Reigns took the time in the ring to issue what they want, a WWE Tag Team Championship opportunity against The Dudley Boyz at Rage in the Cage. The fans liked it, and this prompted the champions out to the ring. Bubba Ray and D-Von wanted to clarify they heard Dean and Roman right, and they would accept the match, but this wasn't good enough for a trio like The New Day. The New Day brought up the draft on the 22nd, saying they wish to be the 4-time WWE Tag Team Champions. Then, The Usos would come out and say they are already the 4-time champs, but want to finish out the hand and be the 5-time, then repeating as if to make SmackDown commentator Booker T proud. The Vaudevillians would be the next duo out to the ring, saying they want to usher in the new era as the WWE Tag Team Champions, and they cited their win at Night of Champions, and of course last week against The Usos. The final team to come out was Aiden and Simon's rivals, Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady. They made the case they exhibited the new era, and also took a jab at The Vaudevillians for beating them on SmackDown last week. This created a ruckus when Bubba Ray had a brilliant idea. Bubba Ray said on SmackDown, there can be a #1 contenders match between The New Day, The Vaudevillians, The Usos, and Amore and Cassady. When Ambrose and Reigns realized their name got left off, Bubba Ray told them they'd like to wrestle them one more time in their careers, and are willing to do that in 7 nights on Raw. All were in agreement with the veteran proposal, except The Vaudevillians. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady shut them up, reminding them the have a match tonight, and are willing to throw down right now. The other tag teams push a reluctant Vaudevillians team into Enzo and Cass, sparking a flame as a referee ran down into a commercial break.
Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady def. The Vaudevillians Enzo and Cass pulled out a new move, called the Bada Boom Shakalaka, looking like favorites this Thursday.
United States Champion Kevin Owens is backstage with Renee Young, and Owens begins with an apology to how he's treated Renee in the past, because Tom Phillips on SmackDown is much worse. Renee asks Kevin's thoughts on the upcoming draft two weeks from Saturday, letting her know he wants to be on the opposite brand of Tom Phillips or he'll have a word with his boss. Renee then asks Kevin Owens about what happened, when Owens says he will be in the ring later tonight to address that, but there's "no comment at this time." Renee nods her head and thanks Kevin for his time. The commentators take over, ready for the title match up next.
Luke Harper(c) def. Sami Zayn to retain the Intercontinental Championship No Wyatt Family member interfered, but Dolph Ziggler did the second week in a row, providing a distraction for Harper to push Zayn into the turnbuckle and hit a Discus Clothesline to retain.
Mick Foley, watching in his office alone, vents to himself and in walks Sheamus. Sheamus wonders why everyone's putting themselves in championship matches, like Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins, the tag teams, and he's got no championship opportunity after cleanly beating the Big Show at Night of Champions. Sheamus calls himself the "uncrowned champion", and Mick chooses to agree with Sheamus and the magnitude of his win at Night of Champions just a week ago. Foley then makes the match for Thursday, Sheamus going against Dolph Ziggler.
United States Champion Kevin Owens comes in the ring, stating he doesn't want to be referred as "United States Champion", and until he can replace the piece of junk on his shoulder, he wants to be referred as the Canadian Champion. Then all of a sudden, we hear someone with a mic refer to Owens as the Canadian Champion, and that is Tye Dillinger with a microphone coming down the ramp. Dillinger claims he is one of the best Canadian wrestlers in the WWE today, and when Owens laughs it off, Dillinger asks for a shot at the title on his shoulder. Owens then asks Dillinger if he even works here, and this is when security comes out directed by Mick Foley, who is trying to get Tye Dillinger out of the ring. When Tye agrees, Kevin says it's good that he left, because he would have hurt him bad. Foley then says he won't have to face Tye Dillinger tonight, but he will wrestle right now against "The Viper" Randy Orton, one fresh off vacation! The Viper got a pop from the crowd, ready for action.
Randy Orton def. Kevin Owens in a non-title match Orton put the champion in his place when he stalked his prey and ended up with an RKO to win.
After the commercial break, we see Nikki Bella accompanied to the ring by John Cena, as the commentators explain what happened earlier this afternoon, Cena insisting on being Nikki's manager for tonight, and Nikki reluctantly giving the okay.
Paige w/Charlotte def. Nikki Bella w/John Cena in a non-title match As Nikki had Paige tapping, Charlotte was on the apron. This causes Cena to get in the ref's face and complain, giving Paige time to use brass knuckles to knock the Divas Champion out for a pin.
Moments before his main event match, inside a Steel Cage with Braun Strowman, Renee Young gets time with Seth Rollins. Seth says tonight's not ideal for him, but knows the opportunity to send a message to Bray by beating his monster in a Steel Cage tonight, and will make the most of it.
Back from commercial, the chaos from the divas match ensues as Charlotte and Paige were bragging about knocking Nikki unconscious when John Cena comes up hot and shouts down their throats, and then calls the official for their match over and blames him. Brie Bella sees this and tries to calm John Cena down, but with no hope, until Nikki walks by and gets Cena to calm down, as Nikki and Brie lead Cena away from Paige and Charlotte. We go back to ringside as the Steel Cage lowers.
Seth Rollins def. Braun Strowman in a Steel Cage Match Seth took a massive beating and Braun stayed on his feet much of the match, and it wasn't until Seth handcuffed Braun and began stomping away at him relentlessly until he climbed over the cage wall and easily dropped to the ground for a victory.
As Seth handcuffed Braun Strowman and began beating him down, Bray Wyatt came out to be a spectator. Seth would then climb the wall and stop at the very top to shout at Bray before climbing down and winning the match. Seth and Bray would exchange a few words before Seth began to walk up the ramp, ready for a fight, when the lights went out. They came back on and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion was gone. Seth looked around and spotted the champion shouting for Rollins inside the Steel Cage. Seth thought for a moment and decided to come down. As Rollins tried finding a way inside, he chose to climb in, and he was met with Erick Rowan and Luke Harper on the outside to attack him. After they laid waste to Rollins, Bray chose to unlock the door and get them to put Seth in. The cage door was locked and it was Wyatt, Rowan, and Harper all beating away at Seth, who had no shot. Then Braun Strowman broke the hold of the handcuffs and decided to get payback on Seth Rollins with a lifting arm triangle choke, then dropping him helplessly as the Wyatt Family posed over Seth's motionless body to close out Raw.

October 6 2016 Mick Foley began tonight's SmackDown and hyped up upcoming events, such as October 22nd's brand extension, and then October 30th's Rage in the Cage pay-per-view event. Foley mentioned the Valley of Shadows Deathmatch and not knowing what to expect, but knowing Bray Wyatt, it's going to be extremely painful. This brought Seth Rollins out and Seth voiced his disapproval of Foley since taking over for The Authority. Seth talked about giving Cesaro a rematch he didn't deserve, and now with Bray Wyatt interfering in his match, making some bogus match, allowing Bray to put him in a Steel Cage match on Raw with Braun Strowman. Rollins blamed the 4-on-1 beatdown inside a cage on Foley for sending no help. Mick said it wasn't his fault, but Seth would not listen. Rollins brought up the draft and asked if he was drafting for both shows, because he wants as far away from Mick Foley as possible. Foley said he won't be drafting for both brands, and when Seth wouldn't back off about wanting to know who was drafting SmackDown, Foley said it was only fair to let the man who gave him the job to draft for SmackDown. Foley mentioned this man had SmackDown named after him, and he was the man who put The Authority out of business, and the crowd roared incredibly to know it was The Rock who will draft for SmackDown in two weeks on the WWE Network. Foley turns his attention to tonight, letting Seth know he won't have to wrestle tonight after Monday, but he will make all the Wyatt Family pay for tonight. He makes a match for Luke Harper and Erick Rowan to wrestle The Dudley Boyz. Foley also makes the main event for Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman to face the team of Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns.
After the commercial, we get ready for the #1 contenders match, in which Foley made an elimination.
FATAL FOUR ELIMINATION TAG TEAM MATCH to determine #1 CONTENDERS
Notes: - The Usos are eliminated by Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady; using the Bada Boom Shakalaka on Jimmy Uso. - The New Day are eliminated by Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady; Colin Cassady using the Empire Elbow on Kofi Kingston. - Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady are eliminated by The Vaudevillians; using the Rolling Dervish on Colin Cassady.
The Vaudevillians def. The Usos, The New Day, and Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady Simon viciously threw Enzo Amore over the commentator table to set up Rolling Dervish on Cassady to win.
The Wyatt Family appear on screen with Bray Wyatt warning both Mick Foley and Seth Rollins about tonight, saying all the wrong things and making all the wrong moves. Bray laughs at the opponents of Dean and Roman for himself and Braun Strowman, and telling Mick he's an idiot for forfeiting the WWE Tag Team Championships match on Monday.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus The match is ruled a no contest after Sami Zayn came down and attacked Ziggler, and an irate Sheamus laid Zayn out with a Brogue Kick afterwards.
After the commercial, Sheamus is mad in Mick Foley's office, upset that Sami Zayn ruined what was a "5-star match", in the eyes of Sheamus. Foley said it was a good match, not great, but good enough. Foley tried to let Sheamus understand about what Dolph Ziggler had done the past few weeks, and that was really why he made the match tonight. Sheamus was upset and demanded a match on Raw against Sami Zayn, in which Foley gladly accepted.
Brie Bella def. Paige Brie was able to get redemption for her sister Nikki on Raw, using the Yes Lock to make Paige tap.
In the backstage area, John Cena and Nikki Bella are watching what just happened, when Cena suggested Nikki use his finishing move, that she needs a good submission move, and she could use the STF. Nikki said she'd think about it, but Cena wants the commitment there.
The Dudley Boyz def. Erick Rowan & Luke Harper in a non-title match The Dudley Boyz managed to hoist Rowan up for a massive 3-D to earn the victory.
The Vaudevillians are interviewed by Tom Phillips after a big victory earlier tonight, and when asked when they have scheduled their title match for, Aiden says Mick Foley has granted them their title opportunity on October 30th at Rage in the Cage. Aiden tells the WWE Universe they're looking at their next WWE Tag Team Champions. They will face either Reigns and Ambrose or The Dudley Boyz on October 30th, depending who wins Monday's championship match.
Bray Wyatt & Braun Strowman def. Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns In an epic tag team main event, Bray and Braun edged them by Bray catching Ambrose in a Sister Abigail.
As Bray and Braun celebrated their victory, we hear the music of Seth Rollins, who was sent home to rest from Monday's attack. Rollins took matters into his own hands with redemption, coming down with a kendo stick. Rollins came down and Wyatt rolled out simultaneously, in which Rollins smacked Strowman with the cane a few times, that backed Strowman to the corner. Seth was hammering away, when Bray grabbed Seth by the hair and pulled him back, then getting on top of him and hammering away. This looked to be bad as Strowman joined in, but Roman Reigns hopped in to save the day with a couple uppercuts, followed by Superman Punches. A Superman Punch pushed Strowman threw the ropes and put Bray on his back. Dean got inside and we saw all 3 Shield members in the ring, that got a pop. The 3 Shield members put Bray Wyatt through a Triple Powerbomb, leaving the WWE World Heavyweight Champion on his back to end this week of WWE shows.

_ In recent weeks, WWE has began a storyline revolving around Nikki Bella and John Cena's relationship problems. According to reports, it was originally supposed to be Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella's storyline about their marital problems. They began to display it when Daniel Bryan went down with a high ankle sprain. Bryan is expected to be out of action for the month of October and the storyline went to Cena and Nikki. It was announced on SmackDown this week that The Rock would draft for SmackDown in the upcoming brand extension draft. The Rock has vowed to take time off from Hollywood to help the transition into WWE's new era. This is said to be temporary, long enough for them to appoint a general manager figure to go in The Rock's place. With the upcoming move to split the roster into two, there is talk if WWE will bring in a second world championship, along with a second divas championship, and a second set for the tag team division. As of now, the plan is to most definitely have a world champion for each brand. Anything else is untapped, whether to bring back the World Heavyweight Championship or create a brand new title. WWE is also trying to figure out if they'll duplicate other belts, or keep the tag team titles on one brand with the divas title on the other. In light of the draft coming up, Triple H has been out since SummerSlam. The reason has been for Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to spend time taking care of their family, while also going around the world in search of new talent. Some of that talent has already reported to the WWE Performance Center, but they are looking deeper. Apparently, they have been talking to talents from high companies such as Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and have went to several countries to recruit. The talents have ranged from ones they would bring in to NXT, and according to Dave Meltzer, "two or three" WWE could sign instantly to the main roster. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds.

Foley talks about Bray's Valley of Shadows Deathmatch challenge issued to Seth for Rage in the Cage. Foley sounds concerned and tells Bray he wants a thorough description of the match on his desk in one week. Wyatt mentions Foley's match with The Undertaker at King of the Ring two decades ago, and promises that the Valley of Shadows Deathmatch in 3 weeks will make everyone forget about it. Foley doesn't take too kindly to this as Bray's music hits and he leaves the ring.

The Vaudevillians join at commentary for this match up next, one for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Mick Foley spotted Finn Balor and Hideo Itami backstage and Foley said he watched their interview with Renee Young, yet he disagreed with them on improving their draft stock. Foley made the match for this Thursday on SmackDown, Balor versus Itami. Foley told them to tear the house down and catch the eye of him and Rock.
Charlotte came out and spoke on her title match in a few weeks at Rage in the Cage. Charlotte decided to play mind games with champion Nikki Bella, using her dysfunction with John Cena lately to poke at the bear. Nikki came down with a mic and defended herself, and when Charlotte reminded Nikki she had won the right to pick the stipulation of her match, she's changed her mind and is making their match a Submission Match! Charlotte jokingly suggests Nikki learn Cena's STF or she might take private lessons herself. Nikki snaps and attacks Charlotte, when John Cena comes down and pulls Nikki Bella off. While Nikki voices her frustration with Cena not staying out of her professional business, the lights go out and Bray Wyatt begins to make his way to the ring for the main event next.
Bray Wyatt def. John Cena in a non-title match Bray and Cena were even, and the world champion almost lost this match on a nearfall with the AA and was in the STF for a long period of time, but caught a break with getting Cena with Sister Abigail to end Raw.

October 17 2016 The main event for tonight was set up, one by one, Seth Rollins, John Cena, and Sami Zayn came to the ring. Rollins obviously took time to talk about Bray Wyatt, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and the Valley of Shadows Deathmatch in two weeks at Rage in the Cage. John Cena comes out and spends his time talking about Luke Harper and the Intercontinental Championship, with the opportunity to challenge for it in two weeks. Sami Zayn then came out and used his history with the Wyatt Family to explain what's going on and that it was obvious it would come, the path of destruction they laid if Bray ever got a hold of the world title, and it began at Money in the Bank. Sami speaks words of encouragement to them both until Mick Foley comes out, inspired by the common interest of the three to exile the Wyatt Family. Foley makes a 6-man tag for tonight's show, with the three going up against the Wyatt Family. Before leaving, Mick holds up a piece of paper and informs Rollins that Bray submitted the official rules and regulations for the Valley of Shadows Deathmatch, a first on October 30th. Foley wishes him luck before going backstage and into a commercial.
Kalisto def. Kaval, Neville, and Sin Cara in a Fatal-4 Way Match Trying to gain leverage for this weekend's draft, Kalisto came out on top, hitting Salida del Sol on his former tag team partner Sin Cara.
Seth Rollins enters Mick Foley's office, wanting to know what the stipulations are, and when Mick Foley hesitates, Rollins jumps down his throat. Foley tells Seth to take a deep breath, then introduces the regulations of the Valley of Shadows Deathmatch. Foley tells Seth it is a cage structure, much like Hell in a Cell. Foley lets Seth know the cage has a lower ceiling, and while there isn't a cage door, there's a circular opening at the top. Seth is asked if he's expected to climb the cage to get inside, in which Foley just remains silent and Rollins throws his hands up. Mick says per Bray's rules, the winner can be determined by pinfall or submission, but it must be inside the cellular structure. Mick clarifies that there will be a choice of weapons on the roof, hanging from inside the roof, inside the cell walls, and of course, under the ring. Mick warns Seth Rollins it isn't for the feint of heart, and he's not even advising young children to watch it. Foley wishes Seth Rollins luck and to be safe in this dangerous imagination of Bray Wyatt.
Chris Masters def. The Miz In his first match back on Raw, it was the Masterlock that brought him victory over The Miz.
After his big win, Chris Masters asked for a microphone and said it's been an awesome week for him since re-signing with WWE last Tuesday. Masters says there is one thing on his mind, that is earning his first match back on SmackDown by a count out. Masters voiced his displeasure and in the process, said all the high remarks he's heard of Rusev, and watching the WWE Network, he was impressed by Rusev's work. Masters says he hope Rusev can prove that to him in the ring again soon.
Backstage, Charlotte is having an interview conducted with Renee Young, who questions her words last week towards champion Nikki Bella. Charlotte admits she may have crossed a line, so that is why she'll make it up to her tonight.
The Usos def. The Ascension Ahead of this Saturday's draft, The Usos improve their stock after a Uso Splash to Viktor put things away.
Divas Champion Nikki Bella headed out for her match, and then Paige walked out for singles action. Before the bell could ring, Charlotte's music hit and she walked down. Charlotte apologized to Nikki for last week and wants to make it up to her. Charlotte tells Paige to get out of the ring, because she's replacing her in this match. Charlotte confirms it's not a title match, and she'll let Nikki take her frustrations out two weeks before Rage in the Cage. Nikki shrugged and allowed this last-minute change to happen.
Nikki Bella def. Charlotte w/Paige via Disqualification in a non-title match Charlotte was able to avoid taking big blows by using the ropes and a ring count to her advantage, and when Nikki finally laid the fists down, Paige jumped in and caused the DQ.
Charlotte and Paige executed a perfect 2-on-1 beatdown when Brie Bella ran in and the two beat her down as well, with Nikki beat up enough already. Charlotte finished the attack with Natural Selection to Nikki, then held the Divas Championship up high.
After a commercial break, The Dudley Boyz came to the ring and reflected on a successful career and recognized the shift to the new era in WWE, and after losing the belts last week, feel they have done all they can do. This prompted The Vaudevillians to the ring, the number one contenders, and they laughed at The Dudley Boyz, agreeing that their time in WWE has come to a screeching halt, and they came down to witness a glorious day in WWE, where the Dudley Boyz finally hang em up. Then out came the WWE Tag Team Champions and the tandem of Ambrose and Reigns expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the opportunities they've had in the ring together and they turn their attention to the Vaudevillians, jumping down the challengers' throats for being disrespectful to the best tag team in history, according to Ambrose. Then out comes the man in charge, the great Mick Foley, who says the last thing he wants before the draft is the Dudley Boyz retiring. Foley says he's opened the draft to anyone and that means even some of the seasoned veterans can take a shot at it, and he jokingly said he thought about applying for the draft himself. Foley ends with the Dudley Boyz still being owed a rematch, and he's going to make an announcement everyone would like. As the Vaudevillians groaned, Mick Foley made Rage in the Cage's title match a triple threat, putting the Dudley Boyz in right there!
The commentators announced for SmackDown that two huge names have confirmed, WWE Chairman of the Board Vince McMahon, and also the man who is drafting for SmackDown, The Rock!
Dolph Ziggler is interviewed backstage by Renee Young, irate that he was left off the card, but Sami Zayn is in the main event. Ziggler feels unwanted by Mick Foley, and can only hope The Rock feels differently about the man who will take WWE through this next era.
Big Show def. Kane These two monsters collided for what might be the final time after the draft takes place, with Kane losing to a WMD.
United States Champion Kevin Owens heads out and talks down on Randy Orton, a pathetic, entitled American like the crowd in Seattle tonight. This was before Orton came out and told Owens the real entitled one is him. Orton says he'd take pleasure in taking the United States Championship away from him, in which Owens interrupts and says the Canadian Championship, and Orton says until then he'll sit at ringside and call the match. Orton brushes past Kevin's shoulder, getting out of the ring, as Kevin's opponent heads down.
Jeff Hardy def. Kevin Owens in a non-title match When action spilled out on the outside, Owens decided to talk trash and take the water of JBL and toss it at Orton. When Owens got back inside, he was hit with the Twist of Fate.
After Jeff Hardy opted to use his celebration on the outside, Randy Orton slithered in and waited for Owens to make it to his feet before an RKO. Orton demanded the title be given to him and he took a long good look at it before laying it down by the side of Kevin Owens.
Moments before their match, Sami Zayn and John Cena are talking. They spot Seth Rollins walking by them, and stop Seth, with them suggesting they need a strategy before going out there. Rollins said he hasn't forgotten what Zayn tried to do to take The Authority away from him, and he and Cena have their own past he hasn't put in the back of his mind. Rollins just lays the law that he wants any shot at Bray Wyatt he can get, and that's it, before walking off. The match is moments away.
Seth Rollins heads out, followed by Sami Zayn and John Cena. The Wyatt Family then walked out, but since it was 3-on-3, Bray Wyatt was the fourth Wyatt Family member to opt out, as he sat in his rocking chair and observed.
John Cena, Sami Zayn, and Seth Rollins def. Wyatt Family w/Bray Wyatt As Bray checked on Erick Rowan, Rollins hit a Suicide Dive on the champ and brawled. This didn't stop Zayn from hitting a Helluva Kick on Harper, followed by Cena's Attitude Adjustment for the win.
On the outside, immediately after the match, Seth threw Bray into the barricade and then threw him inside the ring. Rollins pounced on Bray again, as Cena and Zayn didn't know what to do. Braun Strowman came in and stopped the Seth Rollins attack, and still fended off Cena and Zayn. The numbers got to be too big for Strowman, as the three ganged up on him, and eventually tilted the massive man over the top rope, with Strowman landing on the outside on his feet. This distraction allowed Bray Wyatt enough time to roll onto the outside and get out of dodge, along with Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Cena, Zayn, and Rollins stood their ground in the ring, gaining momentum going forward, especially with the WWE Draft and the brand extension luring this weekend.

October 20 2016 Tonight's show began with the presence of the Chairman of the Board, Vincent Kennedy McMahon! Vince got a huge pop as he did his trademark walk to the ring and took time to speak about the WWE Draft on Saturday, exclusive coverage to the WWE Network. Vince introduced the man that pushed for this constantly until he caved in, and that is the man who will be drafting for Raw, Mick Foley! Mick Foley came out and thanked Vince for the opportunity to have some of the abilities he now has to make WWE a clear-cut #1 for every wrestling fan and every demographic. Foley then thanks someone close to him for giving him that opportunity, and Vince cut him off to introduce the man drafting for SmackDown, The Rock! The Rock came out with a long entrance showing gratitude to the fans who were ecstatic to see the Most Electrifying Man. The Rock said he's been excited for WWE's future since beating Triple H and The Authority at this year's SummerSlam. The Rock said two months later, they're having the chance to do something special with a draft to give more superstars their fair share of opportunities of becoming legends. The Rock said Mick Foley would have become WWE Champion sooner in his career if it were for a brand split, then a joke about January 4th, but now they have that luxury to draft. The Rock promises the SmackDown fans he'll treat them right with the draft and with the same amount of time as Raw, he's dedicated to making SmackDown the A-Show. Foley disagreed, but Vince stepped in to thank them for taking the time to make this work. As Vince tried to leave, The Rock stopped him and said he wanted to get one more thing out. The Rock was grateful for, after beating Triple H, being able to keep some level of authority in the WWE, and wants to make the main event for tonight. Mick and Vince didn't see why not, so The Rock brought up the moment a couple weeks ago when Bray Wyatt was triple powerbombed by the popular Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins. The Rock said for one more time, tonight, we have Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan wrestling Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins in the main event! Everyone loved the idea and it was made official for the main event tonight.
Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady def. The New Day w/Xavier Woods Perhaps the final match as two teams together, Enzo and Cass connected with Bada Boom Shakalaka on Kofi Kingston to win.
The Rock and Mick Foley are talking in the office when Alberto Del Rio walks in to remind them both what an asset he is, and at the tail end of the brand split, he was the best competitor in WWE, reminding them he's won the only 40-man Royal Rumble in history. The Rock says that's nice, but Del Rio is why the brand split fell in the first place. The Rock decides to put Alberto in a match tonight, and to go to the ring, because his match is next.
After the commercial, Alberto Del Rio makes his entrance and awaits his opponent. It happens to be "The Viper" Randy Orton, who has his United States Championship match a week from Sunday.
Randy Orton def. Alberto Del Rio Orton used an RKO to shut Alberto Del Rio's mouth and impact both's draft statuses significantly headed into Saturday.
Becky Lynch is interviewed by Tom Phillips, who is feeling confident about getting drafted high in this Saturday's draft. This interview was interrupted by Emma, who felt differently, and challenged Becky Lynch to a match tonight, one Lynch would accept.
Chris Masters def. Kaval Without his girlfriend at ringside, Kaval would eat a loss because he passed out to the Masterlock.
While Chris Masters was celebrating a victory, Lana came out to the stage. Lana addressed the choice of words Chris Masters had for Rusev on Raw, and asked if he truly wanted a match with him, in which Masters was convinced he did. Lana said Rusev accepts this challenge for Rage in the Cage, and almost instantly Chris Masters was attacked from behind by Rusev, and then a kick to the back of the head while he was on the ground set up The Accolade as Lana watched on. Masters tried fighting out of it, but there was no hope, as the Masterpiece was the one passing out to a submission move, Rusev sending a clear message.
Becky Lynch def. Emma Putting Emma in the Dis-arm-her, Becky improved her own draft stock for Saturday.
Dolph Ziggler enters the office to talk to The Rock and Mick Foley is there, so Ziggler chooses not to speak on it, but they can read Dolph's mind. The Rock asks if Dolph Ziggler wants respect, and when he's about to answer, The Rock of course tells Ziggler it doesn't matter. The Rock said if he wants respect, he'll go out to the ring right now and issue an open challenge. The Rock said if Ziggler can win that match, he would have earned a partial amount of his respect.
The Homage is gathered around and Cody Rhodes is delivering a speech about how they wanted to be the next Shield, and they even bested Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. Cody swore it should be them in the main event, the final main event of the bygone era, but he feels the team's been held back. Joe and Taylor agreed that Mick Foley hasn't given them their fair share of chances, but Cody put the blame on Hennig and Rotunda. Cody says he won't let his draft stock be hindered by the three of them, and officially disbands The Homage then and there, effective immediately.
Dolph Ziggler went to the ring, as The Rock asked, and requested an open challenge to anyone backstage. This was of course accepted by Big Show.
Big Show def. Dolph Ziggler Big Show used a WMD followed by an emphatic Chokeslam to put Ziggler away.
After the match, Big Show was caught by Sheamus with a steel chair. Sheamus would have to slam the chair into Big Show countless amount of times before Big Show would lay flat on the mat. Sheamus would wait until the Big Show was at a knee before the Brogue Kick. Sheamus counted quickly to ten before his music played, standing over the Big Show.
The fans are reminded by the commentary team of the WWE Draft this Saturday, exclusive to the WWE Network, right before the Wyatt Family make their entrance to the ring.
The Shield def. The Wyatt Family Braun Strowman sent away from ringside in this Shield one-night only reunion, saw Seth Rollins hit the final touch on Erick Rowan with an emphatic Pedigree.
Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns celebrated as Rollins also locked eyes with Bray Wyatt, who had escaped to the top of the ramp. We go backstage to The Rock, Mick Foley, and Vince McMahon all in the office. Vince wishes those boys luck as The Rock and Mick Foley shake hands. We get a glimpse of a Shield reunion, as they do their united fists pose to end SmackDown and the old era.
