January 8, 2018 Brock Lesnar begins tonight's episode and his advocate Paul Heyman comments about in three weeks time, Lesnar will challenge John Cena. Heyman makes a case for Lesnar winning the championship for the sixth time. Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor then pops up and decides to get in the ring to announce he will be entering the Royal Rumble Match. Balor said he wants his title back, and whether he has to go through Cena, Lesnar, or anyone else, he will get it back. Balor says he's already proven to beat a Paul Heyman Guy, so he isn't opposed to doing it again. Heyman laughs and reminds Balor he lost the title to Brock Lesnar to begin with. Lesnar then jumps the Intercontinental Champion, takes him to Suplex City, and makes a statement with an F5.
Before their match, Enzo Amore claims the microphone and tells The Revival they got out cheap last night by not pinning the champions. They recap beating The Revival last week and believe they're the better team. Enzo then says they got a rematch, so that will be happening soon!
New York's Finest def. Cesaro & Kassius Ohno Bada-Boom Shakalaka on Kassius Ohno puts the former tag champions in the win column.
After the match, The Revival comes to the stage showing off their WWE Tag Team Championships. The Revival say they are the champions, and reminded Enzo and Colin of the rules to a triple threat tag match. New York's Finest then decide to claim their rematch next week on Raw!
Charly Caruso interviews Sasha Banks alongside Bayley about Scarstruck going to Stephanie last night to request a match against them tonight. Sasha said no hard feelings but her and Bayley have been through it all together. Sasha says Kay and Royce should be grateful for Banks bringing them to the main roster and their relevance.
Emperor Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe The match never begins because, during the Emperor's entrance, he is attacked from behind by Dean Ambrose. Ambrose battles Reigns to the backstage and into the parking lot where Ambrose hits a Dirty Deeds on top of a car.
Paul Heyman exits Triple H's office and Baron Corbin is standing outside. Corbin asks how it went, which Heyman calms his client down. Heyman announces it is Baron Corbin against Finn Balor tonight in the main event. Heyman tells Corbin it's a non-title match but the opportunity is there to get a title match with a win tonight.
Bobby Lashley def. Rusev w/Lana Lashley rebounds after falling short last night and hit a Spear on Rusev to win a hard-fought match.
After a commercial, Mickie James comes to the WWE ring for the first time in years. James says she isn't here to explain why she attacked Asuka because she doesn't need to explain. James said her intentions were made fully clear why she has signed with Monday Night Raw. Asuka's music hit and the Divas Champion runs Mickie James out of the ring. Asuka is definitely not planning on backing down.
Daniel Bryan is with Charly Caruso when he puts his name in the Royal Rumble Match. Stephanie McMahon overhears this and refutes this. Stephanie, instead, puts Daniel Bryan in a match tonight against a man who was scheduled to compete earlier tonight, Samoa Joe.
Scarstruck def. Bayley & Sasha Banks Kay and Royce scored a huge upset after Kay hit a big boot on Sasha Banks and used a handful of tights to keep her shoulders on the mat.
Samoa Joe is taping his wrists when Stephanie McMahon stops by. Stephanie informs Samoa Joe that if he is pinned or submitted in his match tonight, he will not compete in the Royal Rumble Match.
The Usos def. The Vaudevillians The Usos hit a Double Splash on Simon, following Stereo Superkicks, to get a win following last night's win on the Kickoff.
Charly Caruso interviews Joe Hennig backstage, as Hennig requested the time. Hennig says 2018 is his year to make a difference and a legacy for his father. Therefore, he is issuing an open challenge next week to anyone who will accept.
Daniel Bryan def. Samoa Joe via Disqualification As Bryan was catching steam, the action spilled to the outside where Joe threw a chair into Bryan, causing a disqualification.
After the match was over, Samoa Joe continued the assault on Daniel Bryan and hit a Muscle Buster on the steel chair. Joe rolled Bryan into the ring and locked in the Coquina Clutch before several referees came in to calm Samoa Joe down. Samoa Joe let go, but would go back and lock the Coquina Clutch in a second time before they pried him away. A commercial break was taken for Daniel Bryan to get help to the back.
Triple H was in his office watching the replay and Stephanie McMahon walks in. Triple H told Stephanie she had a good idea giving Samoe Joe an incentive. Triple H says he sees potential.
Baron Corbin (w/Paul Heyman) def. Finn Balor Finn Balor was not at 100% and it hindered him, as he went for a Coup de Grace, but Corbin rolled out of the way. Balor then got a knee to the ribs that turned him inside out before he got hit with End of Days.
Baron Corbin celebrated with Paul Heyman as Brock Lesnar came back out. Lesnar came and tossed the Intercontinental Champion around before hitting another F5. Heyman stands by with Lesnar and Corbin as Raw goes off the air.

January 9, 2018 SmackDown begins with Triple H in the ring. The COO prompts a recap of how last week's episode ended. Triple H then sent out for Randy Orton, Batista, and Ric Flair to come to the ring. Flair mentions how proud he is of the men in this ring and how far they've come in their careers. Flair calls Evolution the greatest faction of all-time. Triple H turns the subject to the Universal Championship. Triple H says he needs a great title match, and he'd be good with either Randy Orton or Batista challenging Shinsuke Nakamura at the Royal Rumble. Triple H asks them to settle that. Orton and Batista both make a heated case and get nose-to-nose before Ric Flair pulls them apart. Randy Orton suggests on settling it in the ring tonight and Batista accepts before Flair can get his two cents in.
Elias Samson def. Kalisto Elias Samson hit Drift Away to defeat Kalisto once again in his young WWE career.
Advertised for tonight officially is Randy Orton versus Batista in a #1 contenders match. Also, Christian hosts the Peep Show with special guest The Miz.
Emma def. Naomi Emma picks up another win with an Emma Sandwich on Naomi while Becky Lynch joins the commentary duo in the press box. Becky makes it clear she will not let Emma get away with what happened last week.
Backstage, Cultural Revolt is with Renee Young and Young asks about their first six-man tag team match with someone besides Justin Gabriel. Murphys say they don't need Gabriel to succeed in WWE, but they do need a sixth man. Blake mentions that Gabriel may have held them back, but he's sure this man will get them back in the conversation for the WWE Trios Championships. Alberto Del Rio steps into the frame, ready to get some gold around his waist.
Prior to his match against Kevin Owens, Cody Rhodes declares that he almost realized his dream last WrestleMania by defeating Seth Rollins to become the WWE Universal Champion. Unfortunately, Rhodes admitted plans don't always work out in one's timing. Rhodes says he will be entering the Royal Rumble in hopes of going back to WrestleMania to finish what he started.
Kevin Owens def. Cody Rhodes A Popup Powerbomb put Rhodes away for a three after a Match of the Week contender.
Following his victory, Kevin Owens mocked Cody's announcement prior to the match and Kevin Owens himself declares for the Royal Rumble Match.
After a commercial, Christian hosts the Peep Show alongside Tomko. Christian invites The Miz as a guest and The Miz instantly trashes the Peep Show set. Christian laughs and then begins to trash The Miz's performance last week as he failed to regain the Universal Championship. The Miz takes exception, returning the favor for trashing Christian's entire return to the WWE. Christian then raises a fist and backs off when The Miz tenses up. Christian tells The Miz this is just a friendly show, this right as Tomko attacks The Miz. The Miz is keeping up until Christian comes on and is able to beat him down. Christian hits the Killswitch on The Miz as he and Tomko walk away from the set with The A-Lister down.
United States Champion Bray Wyatt does a video with Erick Rowan and Luke Harper lurking in the background. Wyatt mentions his decimation of Kurt Angle last week, an Olympic Hero. Wyatt says he is only beginning to reach his potential as United States Champion.
Michael Bennett w/Maria def. Local A local competitor steps in the ring with Bennett and falls to a Divine Intervention.
Renee Young interviews Ric Flair about tonight's main event. Flair says Orton and Batista are highly competitive, thus he doesn't know what will come of this. Ric Flair admits he's afraid of what could happen with an Universal Championship match on the line.
Alberto Del Rio & Cultural Revolt def. The New Day In a non-title match, Del Rio locked in the Cross Armbreaker on Xavier Woods who tapped out, giving the new trio a big win over the reigning Trios Champions.
Advertised for next week is the return of Seth Rollins, who hasn't been seen yet in 2018. Also, confirmed for the Royal Rumble is Emma against Becky Lynch for the Matrons Championship, per Stephanie McMahon.
Batista vs. Randy Orton With Ric Flair watching from the press box, he ended up headed down as he saw things getting too violent. As Flair came through the crowd, this got Batista's attention and as Batista asked what he was doing, Orton turned Batista around and hit an RKO. Orton took advantage and pinned The Animal!
After the match, Randy Orton shot up and got his hand raised! Flair appears relieved the match is over as he gets help over the barricade. Flair helps Batista out of the ring who shoves Flair away and storms off, but Orton doesn't notice this as he's celebrating a WWE Universal Championship match at Royal Rumble.

January 12, 2018 Friday Night Impact begins with Chris Jericho, declaring he is still standing after two Bullet Club attacks last week. Jericho mentions he'd be world champion right now if it wasn't for the Bullet Club. Jericho says he proved this by beating John Hennigan last Friday. For that, Jericho challenges John Hennigan to a title match. Hennigan comes out with Bullet Club, standing by the entranceway, refusing to let Chris Jericho have what he wants. Bullet Club then surrounds the ring before Shawn Michaels stops a potential attack. Michaels makes the match official for next week. Until then, he is putting Chris Jericho in a match against any Bullet Club member of his choosing. Jericho points to Karl Jacobs and Michaels orders all Bullet Club members to vacate the ringside area.
Chris Jericho def. Karl Jacobs Jericho sent a message by taking out Jacobs, a typical tag team wrestler, and forcing him to tap to the Walls of Jericho.
As Jericho backed up the ramp, he is assaulted from behind by champion John Hennigan. Hennigan throws him into the set before hitting a Moonlight Drive, laying out his #1 contender before next week's title match.
Mauro Ranallo and James Storm hype tonight's show featuring reDRAGON speaking out for the first time since arriving. Also, Patriot 2000 fights Johnny Gargano. In addition, the announcement by Shawn Michaels will finally be heard.
Eric Young (w/John Skyler) def. Matt Cross Eric Young hit the Youngblood on Cross to get a win in front of his mentee.
Backstage, Chris Sabin is hyping up Angelico for a match tonight against Drago. Sabin says he and O'Shea will be at ringside for the match.
Johnny Gargano def. Patriot 2000 As Patriot 2000 locked in the Ankle Lock, Gargano rolled him over and got a quick pinfall to upset the Patriot. Gargano ran away quickly before Patriot 2000 could react.
Jeremy Borash interviews Ethan Carter III about tonight's match against Rey Mysterio. EC3 admits Mysterio is an all-time great and tonight will be a test for him. EC3 calls himself an all-time great in TNA, so he's up for the challenge. When asked about the world title situation, Borash asked if the recent developments with the Bullet Club and John Hennigan will influence his decision on when to cash in. EC3 says he isn't intimidated by the Bullet Club and will still seek the right moment on when to become a two-time champion.
Knockouts Champion Ivelisse comes to the ring and admits she has no clue why Su Yung accepted a count-out loss last Monday and doesn't know why she attacked her last Friday. Ivelisse says she is willing to put her title on the line against her, but Su Yung needs to want to be Knockouts Champion and not an enigma. This is prompted by Su Yung appearing once more, putting Ivelisse in the Mandible Claw for a second straight week, making her intentions clearer that the champion is still on her mind.
Angelico w/Dirty Standards def. Drago Chris Sabin grabs Drago's leg off the ropes, distracting him, allowing Angelico to hit a chop block followed by locking in a Cruceta Invertidas for Drago to tap.
Eric Young is speaking to John Skyler backstage and encourages him to wrestle Matt Cross next week.
After a commercial, Jeremy Borash welcomes reDRAGON in the ring. Borash asks what brought them to TNA. Bobby Fish answered it, saying simply to prove they're the best tag team in the world. As generic as he admits it sounds, they believe TNA has the best tag team division in the world. O'Reilly says their task will be complete once they win the TNA Tag Team Championships. JB asks if that's why they've got their sights on the Briscoes. O'Reilly said the two teams are no strangers and he invites the Briscoes to challenge reDRAGON. Fish takes a step back for his team and announces reDRAGON will be in action next week against Irish Borne. Fish invites the Briscoes to watch and see for themselves who is most deserving of the next opportunity.
Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Made in Sin following their attack on the Beautiful People last week. Allysin Kay said she isn't fond of Angelina Love and her antics last week. Kay challenges Love to a one-on-one match for next week.
Ethan Carter III def. Rey Mysterio Ethan Carter III got hit with a 619. As Mysterio attempted West Coast Pop, EC3 countered hitting a Turnbuckle Powerbomb. As Mysterio stumbled out of the corner, EC3 turned him around and hit the One-Percenter to win.
X-Division Champion Andrew Everett is standing by with Jeremy Borash where he officially accepts Ricochet's Best 2-of-3 Falls match for next week. Everett says when he sweeps Ricochet, he wants to be done with that man!
Advertised for next week by Mauro Ranallo and James Storm is both the X-Division and TNA World Heavyweight Championship matches. In addition, John Skyler battles the man his mentor beat tonight, Matt Cross.
TNA President Shawn Michaels heads to the ring to finally make his big announcement that was intended to be done on New Years Day. Michaels announces a return after 17 long years, professional wrestling to TNT. Shawn Michaels announces that TNA is expanding to Wednesday Nights and will present Wednesday Night Dynamite! Michaels had the privilege of announcing Donald Trump's investment to bring wrestling back to TNT. All of a sudden, a familiar theme song hits... and it is Sting! Sting walks out in a suit and without facepaint before getting in the ring with Michaels. Michaels is confused, but Sting says he has news to break to Shawn Michaels. Sting says he has been hired by Donald Trump to oversee Wednesday Night Dynamite with his own roster. Sting tells Shawn Michaels that one day soon, the Impact brand will be dead. Sting drops the mic and leaves the ring, leaving Michaels in disbelief as Sting returns with ill intentions towards Michaels.

Brock Lesnar will officially challenge John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble.
Raw's Finn Balor has declared for the Royal Rumble Match. However, the Intercontinental Champion might have to defend his championship against Baron Corbin once again after Corbin's non-title victory in the main event.
Both Daniel Bryan and Emperor Roman Reigns needed medical attention on Monday. Both are expected to appear this Monday on Raw.
Next week on Monday's Raw: The Revival defends the WWE Tag Team Championships against New York's Finest Joe Hennig's open challenge
After defeating his friend, Randy Orton will challenge Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble.
Emma is confirmed to be challenging Becky Lynch for the WWE Matrons Championship at the Royal Rumble.
Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens have both declared for the Royal Rumble Match.

In a NXT Tag Team Championships match, Strange Bedfellows and champion Depths of Despair ended in a double count-out as the teams brawled.
A fatal-four way occurred with Bubba Stone, Pete Dunne, Tama Tonga, and Tashard Wiggins. The one who would lose will not advance to next week's triple threat. Tashard Wiggins ate the Bitter End and was eliminated. This is to include in two weeks when the #1 contender for Adam Cole's NXT Championship will be determined.

TNA is expanding to two shows: Friday Night Impact and Wednesday Night Dynamite. However, a bombshell was dropped as Sting returned to TNA and said he is in charge of Dynamite, challenging Shawn Michaels and what he's built with Impact.
reDRAGON has made it clear to the Briscoes that they've come to TNA for the TNA Tag Team Championships. Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly are debuting against Irish Borne to make a stronger claim to be next in line.
After last week's questionable decision-making by Su Yung in her title opportunity, she has still targeted Knockouts Champion Ivelisse. Is Su Yung still in consideration for the title? Will she continue to attack Ivelisse? How will the champion respond?
Allysin Kay has issued a challenge to Angelina Love one-on-one. Will Love accept?

January 15, 2018 Paul Heyman and Baron Corbin begin tonight's episode as Heyman mentions Lesnar's title opportunity at the Royal Rumble while also breaking the news of Corbin receiving an Intercontinental Championship match that night against Finn Balor. Daniel Bryan interrupts and speculates that Paul Heyman is plotting with The Authority and challenges Corbin to a match then and there. Heyman calls the theory "uneducated" but accepts the challenge on Corbin's behalf.
Baron Corbin (w/Paul Heyman) def. Daniel Bryan Daniel Bryan is hit with End of Days and Corbin takes a W.
Samoa Joe is backstage watching on a monitor when Triple H comes to embrace Joe. Triple H lets Joe know he was impressed with his actions last week, but he needs to see more to be in the Royal Rumble match. Triple H puts Samoa Joe up against Cesaro tonight, and if Joe loses, he won't be able to compete in two weeks.
Michael Cole displays the tweet by Stephanie McMahon from earlier today about a blockbuster announcement for the divas division. Cole, Corey Graves, and Tyson Kidd speculate on what this could be.
Asuka def. Dana Brooke in a non-title match With Mickie James providing commentary, Dana Brooke submits to the Asuka Lock.
As soon as Dana Brooke smacked the mat, Mickie James slid inside the ring and attacked the Divas Champion. James would try hitting a Chick Kick, but Asuka fought back. This fight inside Asuka forces Mickie to rethink her decision and bails on the brawl as Asuka stands ready to go at it again!
Joe Hennig receives an interview prior to his open challenge tonight. When Charly Caruso asks about who his opponent might be, Hennig says he speculates it's someone like him who feels undervalued in WWE and looking to make a difference. Hennig, however, says the hunger is inside him more.
The Hardy Boyz def. Carlito & Chris Masters Masters falls to the Twist of Fate by Matt Hardy, followed by a Swanton Bomb by Jeff as The Hardy Boyz grab a win.
Scarstruck are in catering boasting to the Bella Twins about their win over Bayley and Sasha Banks last week. But Bayley and Sasha overhear this and confront Scarstruck about it before a brawl occurs between the four women. The Bellas try their best to break it up as others get involved playing a security role, but it's just chaos.
Dean Ambrose comes to the ring and prior to his match, grabs a microphone saying he's been reached out to by many to explain his actions from last week. Ambrose said he and Emperor Roman Reigns have had their issues in the past, but he cost him an opportunity to become champion. Ambrose cites the success of Rollins being world champion and Reigns being King of the Ring at the expense of him. Ambrose declares for the Royal Rumble match, saying no one else will thrive off his expense.
Bobby Lashley vs. Dean Ambrose ends in a no contest As Lashley and Ambrose are in a match, Emperor Roman Reigns comes and hits the Emperor Punch on Ambrose.
The brawl continues as once Reigns knocked the official down, Lashley got out of dodge. Ambrose and Reigns fought into the crowd and it went up the stairs and to the concession stand. They used popcorn, sodas, and Ambrose even took it into the bathroom. Ambrose nearly gave Reigns a swirly in the toilet, but Reigns pushed Ambrose away and as he charged, Ambrose sent him into the wall and then hit Dirty Deeds on the bathroom floor. Ambrose is convinced to leave the Emperor alone, laid out on the bathrooom floor.
Joe Hennig comes to the ring and mentions Dean Ambrose is hungry, the Emperor is hungry, and he is hungry. Hennig asks anyone to accept his open challenge, but his confidence is shaken when it is Kane! Kane has accepted the challenge!
Kane def. Joe Hennig It did not take the Big Red Monster long to hit the Chokeslam and pin Hennig.
Stephanie McMahon is approached by Scarstruck about what the big announcement is, and when Stephanie said she wouldn't tell them, Kay and Royce got louder and said it better be that Bayley and Sasha Banks are suspended! Stephanie tilted her head and Kay and Royce said they should be suspended for attacking them earlier. Stephanie shook her head and said if it's such a big deal, they can have a tag team match next week... a Tornado Tag! Kay and Royce didn't appreciate this idea much either, but talked themselves into it before walking off.
Samoa Joe def. Cesaro Joe and Cesaro fought a great match but the Coquina Clutch had Cesaro tap out.
Joe continued to hold the Coquina Clutch until Cesaro would go to sleep. Kassius Ohno's music hit and Joe let up and Ohno ran to the ring and the two brawled. Joe then threw Ohno to the outside and the two brawled. Joe would introduce a steel chair and bend it across Ohno's elbow before laying him out with a Muscle Buster. Joe then turned to Cesaro who was stirring, and putting it in the Coquina Clutch would put him back to sleep quickly as Joe finally decides it's enough.
The Revival(c) def. New York's Finest to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships In under ten minutes, The Revival caught Enzo on a Shattered Machine to retain their championships.
After The Revival's victory, Michael Cole advertised next week's episode where Scarstruck will battle Bayley and Sasha Banks in a Tornado Tag Team Match! In addition, Mickie James will return to the ring for the first time to battle Kelly Kelly.
Stephanie McMahon comes to a surrounded ring of women from Monday Night Raw who are anticipating the announcement. Before doing so, Stephanie invites the women to step inside the ring as they are apart of history. Stephanie breaks the news that in two weeks at the Royal Rumble, the divas of Raw and the matrons of SmackDown will compete in the first ever Women's Royal Rumble Match! Stephanie announces it will be 25 women competing, so there may be a couple surprises. Stephanie announces the winner will receive a title shot at the Divas or Matrons Championship at WrestleMania. Stephanie congratulates and Scarstruck gets a head start on Bayley and Sasha before a brawl between the Raw divas ensues. They begin throwing each other over the top until Charlotte hits a Big Boot on Nikki Bella to last topple her to the floor. Charlotte stands tall as a huge announcement was made, and Michael Cole suggests Charlotte to be the favorite to win the first ever Women's Royal Rumble Match!

January 16, 2018 SmackDown starts with the return of Seth Rollins! Rollins says his ultimate reason for coming was to declare for the Men's Royal Rumble Match! Randy Orton, the #1 contender for Shinsuke Nakamura's WWE Championship, came to discourage Rollins about competing in the match, because Orton promises to win the WWE Championship from Nakamura and retain at WrestleMania. Rollins and Orton then get put into the opening match of SmackDown.
Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins ends in a no contest. Orton and Rollins fight until Batista comes to the ring, watches for a moment, before sliding in the ring and knocking Rollins' head off with a lariat.
As Orton was about to eat a Curb Stomp, Batista came in and took Seth's head off. Batista was obviously frustrated and hit a Batista Bomb on Rollins, laying him in the middle of the ring. Batista looks in Orton's direction as he leaves The Viper in the ring on his own.
Stephanie McMahon approaches Emma about receiving an opportunity at the Matrons Championship. Instead of granting her the match confirmed last week, Stephanie says she can enter the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble Match. She then puts Emma in a non-title match against the Irish Lasskicker tonight. Emma is not pleased at all with the decision.
Michael Bennett w/Maria def. Local Bennett downs another local in back-to-back weeks with a Divine Intervention.
Triple H gets Batista's attention. Triple H says he wants Batista to stay out of matches, as Orton could have won the match. When Batista mentioned the Curb Stomp, Triple H countered that by reminding Batista of a classic RKO Outta Nowhere at WrestleMania 31. Triple H says if Batista wants to fight so bad, he can tonight in the main event against the WWE Universal Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.
Bray Wyatt def. Kalisto in a non-title match Kalisto had an opportunity to score a big win against the Eater of Worlds, but Wyatt reversed a Salida del Sol attempt with Sister Abigail to win the match.
Alberto Del Rio is seen arriving at the arena and he meets Blake and Murphy at the entrance and they step inside. They're soon confronted by Renee Young for a backstage interview. Young asks about their win last week against The New Day and where they see themselves moving forward. Del Rio tells Young she's as worse as an American for being impatient and nosy. Del Rio says she'll find out when everyone else does.
The ring is set for MizTV. The Miz is in the ring and welcomes everyone. The Miz shows a replay of last week's Peep Show and says he decided to return the favor by inviting Christian to MizTV. The music plays, nobody shows up. The music plays again, and nobody shows up. Christian then pops up on the titantron with Tomko and says he won't be gracing the B-Show with his presence. Christian said he takes offense to Tomko not being invited. Christian tells The Miz the next time he steps in the ring with The Miz, he wants it to be next week on SmackDown in a match. The Miz accepts the challenge, and says Tomko is not invited at ringside then either. Christian says Tomko doesn't need The Miz's invitation to get a front row seat to watch The Miz lose.
Kurt Angle speaks with Renee Young backstage, where he officially enters his name into the Royal Rumble Match. He then is interrupted by Batista's presence. Angle gets silent and Young slowly backs away before Batista takes Angle and throws him into the set behind him. Batista slings him around the backstage area and ends it with a spinebuster onto a crate, leaving the Olympic Gold Medalist gasping for air.
Becky Lynch def. Emma via disqualification in a non-title match. Emma was not happy and took her frustrations out on the Matrons Champion and after not letting go of the Emma Lock at the count of 5.
Emma continued the assault on Lynch before Stephanie McMahon came and stopped it. Emma demanded a microphone and told Stephanie she demands her Matrons Championship match at the Royal Rumble! Stephanie said she'll do one better. Stephanie makes the Matrons Championship match for next week on SmackDown!
Triple H catches up to Batista as Triple H jumps down Batista's throat for a second time tonight for his actions. Batista said he should be competing for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble. Triple H takes a moment to gather himself, and he apologizes to Batista. Triple H says he's dealing with a lot of stress and wishes Batista luck in his non-title match against Shinsuke Nakamura tonight.
Blake and Murphy come to the ring and Murphy announces that Cultural Revolt is still alive and well. They say they were held back by Justin Gabriel and have not been searching for a third member. However, they've been blessed with the newest addition to Cultural Revolt, Alberto Del Rio! Del Rio heads to the ring and after trashing the American audience, says they have secured a WWE Trios Championships match next week on SmackDown. The New Day then head out for a singles match between Del Rio and Kingston.
Alberto Del Rio w/Cultural Revolt def. Kofi Kingston w/The New Day Ahead of next week's title match, Del Rio locks in the Cross Armbreaker and Kingston taps out like Woods did the previous week to gain more momentum for the new Cultural Revolt trio.
Advertised for next week's big show are two championship matches. The New Day defends the WWE Trios Championships against Cultural Revolt, who just made Alberto Del Rio an official member. Emma gets her Matrons Championship opportunity versus Becky Lynch. Also, Christian battles The Miz!
Batista def. Shinsuke Nakamura in a non-title match With no help, Batista used his rage he's built the previous week and took it out on the Universal Champion and had a decisive win after not one, but two Batista Bombs.
After the match, Batista was not done and he snatches the title from the ref and throws it down as he tried to give it to the champion. Batista picks Nakamura up once more and hits a third Batista Bomb! Batista then picks the WWE Universal Championship up and lets Nakamura know this title is soon coming to The Animal as SmackDown goes off the air.

January 19, 2018 Friday Night Impact begins with a recap of last week's blockbuster news about Wednesday Night Dynamite and the return of 'The Icon' Sting. As Mauro Ranallo says Shawn Michaels will be in the ring to address last week, Impact begins with an X-Division Championship classic, Best 2-of-3 Falls match in what will be the final showdown between Everett and Ricochet.
Andrew Everett(c) def. Ricochet in a Best 2-of-3 Falls Match to retain the X-Division Championship Everett took fall 1 as Ricochet missed a 630 Senton, and Everett rolled him over in a crucifix pin and won the first fall. The second fall was Ricochet's as he did connect on a 630 Senton. For the third fall, Ricochet tried connecting on a Springboard European Uppercut, but Everett threw the official in the way. This allowed a man to enter the ring and rush Ricochet and hit a running double foot stomp! The man throws Everett on top, revives the ref, and the official counts 3 for Everett to retain.
Mauro Ranallo and James Storm try to figure out who the man is, while they also hype tonight's card which includes reDRAGON's in-ring debut and a TNA World Heavyweight Championship match!
John Skyler is getting coached by his mentor Eric Young backstage prior to his match coming up.
Drew Galloway w/Brooke vs. Johnny Gargano ends in a no contest As Gargano was battling Galloway, it was Patriot 2000 that rushed the ring and assaulted Gargano and it was a 2-on-1 assault as Galloway laid him out with a Claymore, followed by the Patriot Lock being secured on Gargano's ankle as a snap is heard.
Bullet Club are speaking to the TNA World Heavyweight Champion John Hennigan, assuring him he can defeat Chris Jericho tonight in the main event!
Matt Cross def. John Skyler w/Eric Young Young tried coaching Skyler on, but Skyler went up top without advisement and ate a step-up enzuigiri that set up a Death From Above to give Skyler a loss.
After a commercial, Ivelisse comes to the ring and the Knockouts Champion is trying to make sense of Su Yung's actions over the last couple weeks. Ivelisse says she doesn't need to know Su Yung's reasoning to deliver her consequences. Ivelisse announces she's went to Shawn Michaels about facing Su Yung once again. Ivelisse announces she's secured a Falls Count Anywhere against Su Yung next week, but to seek revenge, she's having to put the Knockouts Championship on the line. Ivelisse says she's more than willing to put her title on the line and not only promises to retain the title, but to make Su Yung pay for her actions. Jenny Thunnel then heads out for her match with the Knockouts Champion.
Ivelisse vs. Jenny Thunnel ends in a no contest During the match, Su Yung appears and she lays out Ivelisse with another statement ahead of their Falls Count Anywhere match next week.
McKenzie Mitchell catches up with Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne and asks for the whereabouts of Angelina Love. Sky answered that Love is at home taking care of family matters, but she will be back for next week's Impact. When Mitchell asked about Allysin Kay's challenge to Angelina Love, the Beautiful People accept the challenge on Love's behalf for next week.
reDRAGON def. Irish Borne In Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly's debut on Impact, they are challenged by the Crist brothers, but finish Don Crist off with Chasing the Dragon.
reDRAGON are celebrating a win until The Briscoes make an appearance. The TNA Tag Team Champions stay at the curtain, but give a nod of approval to the new tag team at TNA.
Andrew Everett is caught by Jeremy Borash outside his locker room after his X-Division Championship retention tonight. Borash asks who the man was, and at the moment the man steps outside. Everett introduces the guy as his friend from back home in North Carolina, and if Borash was a true journalist, he would know. Everett introduces the man as Trevor Lee. When asked if Lee had signed a contract with TNA, they refuse to answer the question and step away.
Chris Jericho entered the ring first and as John Hennigan tried to come out with the Bullet Club crew, the entire Club were sent to the back and barred from ringside by the official.
John Hennigan(c) def. Chris Jericho to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship Jericho catches Hennigan with a Codebreaker on a springboard attempt, but Hennigan falls out of the ring. As Jericho goes and rolls Hennigan back in, the Bullet Club theme hits. Jericho goes to the curtain ready to fight, but nobody shows. Jericho heads back to the ring and gets decked by Hennigan with a punch that knocks him out and Hennigan pins Jericho!
During the replay, it appears Hennigan rolled over to the edge and got handed brass knuckles by Karl Jacobs, but the official didn't catch it.
Advertised for next week by Mauro Ranallo and James Storm is Angelina Love versus Allysin Kay, and a Falls Count Anywhere match for the Knockouts Championship between champion Ivelisse and challenger Su Yung. But up next is the TNA President, and they show another reminder of what went down last week.
TNA President Shawn Michaels comes to the ring and addresses the bombshell Sting dropped in his return. Michaels said he was not made aware of Sting coming, or having two separate rosters for Impact and Dynamite. Michaels admits he doesn't know Sting's reasoning for taking over Dynamite and if his intentions are pure. Michaels says he just wants to put on a great product and promises stability for Impact. Michaels invites Sting to Impact next week to settle some differences, that Michaels believes could be rooted back 20 years ago.

Stephanie McMahon announced the first ever 25-Woman Royal Rumble Match, with the winner receiving an opportunity at the Divas or Matrons Championship at WrestleMania.
Dean Ambrose has joined Finn Balor as the two to officially declare for the Men's Royal Rumble Match.

News circulating is there was an injury suffered to a major superstar on SmackDown. Everyone has been silent about who suffered the injury, how, and what the injury specifically is. However, it feels as though SmackDown might have to provide answers if serious enough.

Ember Moon defeated Carmella, Rubi Riot and Lakyn Machisma in a fatal four way to become the new #1 contender for Tessa Blanchard's NXT Women's Championship. The match will take place at Takeover.
In the triple threat between Bubba Stone, Pete Dunne, and Tama Tonga to determine who advances to next week's match, Bubba Stone executed a Sitout Powerbomb on Tama Tonga to eliminate him. Thus, it'll be Bubba Stone versus Pete Dunne next week in a #1 contenders match for the NXT Championship.

January 22, 2018 Raw starts the evening with Rusev declaring for the Royal Rumble Match, and then Braun Strowman follows suit in declaring himself. Carlito and Chris Masters then come to declare themselves, followed by American Alpha. This incites Triple H coming down to make a six-man tag team match to begin the show tonight. However, with a stipulation, that the loser will be ineligible to compete in Sunday's 30-Man Royal Rumble Match.
Braun Strowman and American Alpha def. Carlito, Chris Masters, and Rusev w/Lana It's a Running Powerslam on Masters that gives Strowman's team the win and prevents Masters from competing on Sunday.
Charly Caruso interviews Charlotte about this Sunday. Charlotte says this Sunday is historic for two reasons: one, it is the first Women's Royal Rumble Match. And two, she will win and go on to win her fourth Divas Championship... or her first Matrons Championship.
The Revival comes to the ring and boasts on defending the WWE Tag Team Championships last week. The Revival speaks on being the best tag team in WWE, but this wasn't received well by The Usos. The Usos said they could take the titles from The Revival in an instant because of the roll they've been on. The Hardy Boyz then came out and claimed to be the best tag team in WWE history, and also cited a hot streak. The Revival isn't fans of either of them getting title shots anytime soon, but it is Stephanie McMahon who addresses the situation, making a tag team match to determine who will wrestle The Revival on Sunday.
The Usos def. The Hardy Boyz With The Revival on commentary, they watched Jimmy hit a Superkick that rocked Matt and allowed Jey Uso to hit an Uso Splash to win the right to a title match.
As soon as The Usos won, The Revival hit the ring and attacked The Usos. Jeff Hardy then ran to help The Usos, but was caught by The Revival and eventually was a victim to the Shattered Machine by the champions.
Backstage, Samoa Joe is approached by Triple H. Triple H lets Samoa Joe know that as of now, he is in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match on Sunday. However, Kassius Ohno has expressed frustration over his actions last week, so he's booked a one-on-one match between them. Triple H is putting Joe's spot in the match on the line. Joe isn't happy and argues, but Triple H tells him to channel that anger into his match tonight.
Mickie James def. Kelly Kelly In her first match in WWE since 2010, James hits a Mick Kick on Kelly Kelly to win her return.
Joe Hennig is interviewed by Charly Caruso about his defeat last week to Kane, and he says he wasn't expecting a Big Red Monster to answer his open challenge. Hennig says he wants to issue the opening challenge once again, excluding it to a man who punted a baby into the crowd in his earlier days.
Announced for tonight is WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena in attendance. Cena is headed to the arena and will speak prior to his title defense against Brock Lesnar on Sunday. In addition, Dean Ambrose will battle Bobby Lashley in a rematch from last week.
Samoa Joe def. Kassius Ohno Samoa Joe was rattled early by Ohno who was seeking vengeance for his partner, but it ended in Joe locking in the Coquina Clutch. Even after the bell, it took Joe a while to let go in order to send a message for the Royal Rumble Match this Sunday.
Paul Heyman is backstage and is asked by Charly Caruso about John Cena coming to Raw tonight. Heyman breaks the news that Brock Lesnar is in the building and will see Cena in the ring tonight.
Joe Hennig comes to the ring and admits his open challenge last week didn't go as planned, but he aims to recover by issuing one tonight. It is Big Show to answer the call! The Big Show is back!
Big Show def. Joe Hennig Second verse same as the first as Hennig is knocked out cold with a WMD.
Tyler Breeze decides to go out to the commentary table with Michael Cole, Corey Graves, and Tyson Kidd to make it known he will be in the Royal Rumble Match this Sunday!
Scarstruck def. Bayley & Sasha Banks in a Tornado Tag Team Match Royce would lock in the Venus Fly Trap in the ropes to force a tap-out while Banks and Kay had brawled to the backstage area.
Following the match, cameras caught up with Sasha Banks and Billie Kay who were fighting backstage and the Bella Twins got into it, as well as Dana Brooke, Charlotte, Lana, and Kelly Kelly. The eight women have an all-out brawl as the commentators confirm each of these women are in Sunday's 25-Woman Royal Rumble Match.
Dean Ambrose def. Bobby Lashley Back and forth, trying to gain momentum into this Sunday's Royal Rumble Match, Lashley goes for a Spear but Ambrose catches him in a Dirty Deeds! Ambrose rolls him over and secures a big win.
Michael Cole, Tyson Kidd, and Corey Graves advertise Sunday's card from Raw's perspective. Finn Balor defends against Baron Corbin, The Revival defending against The Usos, John Cena defends his title against Brock Lesnar, and it was confirmed from Stephanie McMahon that Mickie James will challenge Asuka for the Divas Championship.
John Cena's music hits and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion runs out to address his match this Sunday against Brock Lesnar. Cena says he's faced Lesnar before and he's truly a Beast. Cena says he's a 16-time world champion but none of those matter this Sunday. What matters is battling the Beast Incarnate and coming out still champion. Brock Lesnar's music hit and Cena gets prepared to fight as he drops the mic and takes his shirt off. Lesnar and Heyman step out, as Cena is ready, but he is blindsided from behind by Baron Corbin. Corbin beats down Cena as Lesnar casually makes his way down and joins in on the beating. Finn Balor's music hits and the Intercontinental Champion rushes to save the day, but Corbin and Lesnar are too powerful. Corbin lays Balor out with End of Days and Lesnar hits a devastating F5 on Cena as the two challengers stand over their prey before Sunday's big Royal Rumble event.

January 23, 2018 SmackDown begins with a shaken Triple H. The COO breaks the news that in his match last week, Randy Orton suffered an injury that will remove him from Sunday's Royal Rumble match. Triple H goes back to last week when Batista defeated WWE Universal Champion Shinsuke Nakamura in a non-title match and says The Animal will replace Orton on Sunday. Batista comes to the ring and tells Triple H it's about time. Batista promises to go headline WrestleMania as the WWE Universal Champion. Kurt Angle then steps out to the stage and challenges Batista to a match later tonight, following his attack on him last week. Triple H advises against it, but Batista accepts it. Batista warns Angle to give up his number in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match because he won't make it to Sunday.
Becky Lynch(c) vs. Emma for the WWE Matrons Championship Emma had avoided the Dis-arm-her and locked in the Emma Lock and had the champion in trouble before Nia Jax's music hit. Emma let go and Nia Jax made her return to television. Nia Jax stepped in and attacked Emma, before turning her attentions to the Matrons Champion and hitting a Samoan Drop, ending the title match without a decision.
United States Champion Bray Wyatt declares him and the Wyatt Family for the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match, as he promises to bring more gold. Erick Rowan battles Tye Dillinger later this evening.
Michael Bennett w/Maria def. Local Bennett easily beats his third local tonight with Divine Intervention.
After a commercial, Elias Samson is in the ring where he announces his entrance into Sunday's 30-Man Royal Rumble Match. Elias begins a song about him headlining WrestleMania, but he's interrupted by Cody Rhodes. Rhodes says he was so close to winning last year's, and so he doesn't expect someone of Elias Samson to come close.

Nia Jax is caught by Renee Young backstage as Jax responds loudly. Renee cowers and asks about any reason as to why she interrupted the Matrons Championship match. Nia Jax says she wanted to make a statement and will be entering the 25-Woman Royal Rumble Match on Sunday!
Erick Rowan w/Wyatt Family def. Tye Dillinger Dillinger put up a fight but Erick Rowan was too powerful and Rowan put Dillinger away with an Iron Claw Slam.
Christian and Tomko were backstage when Triple H approached them and made them aware that Tomko is barred from ringside in Christian's match later tonight against The Miz. Christian was furious and tried to talk Triple H out of it, but Triple H shrugged his shoulders and walked away.
The New Day(c) def. Cultural Revolt to retain the WWE Trios Championships Xavier Woods fought much of the match with a bad arm but Trouble in Paradise by Kofi Kingston on Blake allowed The New Day to retain the titles they've held since May.
Dolph Ziggler is with Renee Young backstage and declares himself for the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match. Ziggler says it should've been him at last year's WrestleMania, but he will main event WrestleMania against the WWE Universal Champion.
As The Miz awaits his opponent in the ring for their match, Christian appears on the titantron and says he will not be coming to the ring to wrestle The Miz this evening.
Stephanie McMahon is in her office when Emma barges in. Emma demands a rematch against Becky Lynch at the Royal Rumble after Nia Jax's involvement earlier tonight. Stephanie tries reasoning with Emma before relating to her frustrations and making the match official. Emma will challenge Becky Lynch for the Matrons Championship, but Stephanie is putting the match inside of a Steel Cage.
Alexa Bliss comes to the ring and the former two-time Matrons Champion says she will head on to become a three-time champion after Sunday's 25-Woman Royal Rumble Match. Naomi comes to the ring and refutes that, while Paige follows. The three are in the ring when Nia Jax heads back out and the three are laid out by Nia Jax who makes two statements in one night that she is the favorite in the match on Sunday.
Mauro Ranallo and JBL advertise SmackDown's involvement in Sunday's pay-per-view. Along with the two Royal Rumble Matches with WrestleMania implications, Emma is battling Becky Lynch for the title in a Steel Cage. Also, Batista is replacing the injured Randy Orton in the WWE Universal Championship match against Shinsuke Nakamura. And breaking news from Triple H's office! After Christian no-showed his match against The Miz tonight, it will take place this Sunday at the Royal Rumble.
Batista def. Kurt Angle Batista made an example out of Kurt Angle and finished him off with a Batista Bomb.
After the match, Batista decided to go for another Batista Bomb. As he was about to lift Angle up, Shinsuke Nakamura's hit! The Universal Champion rushed to the ring and connected on a few strikes on Batista, giving him a taste of Strong Style before The Animal retreats. Nakamura stands tall ahead of their title match on Sunday at the Royal Rumble.
