In other news, TNA has issues with several contracts. Agonia, AJ Styles, Drew Galloway, and Taryn Terrell are the people who may not be with the company beyond 2018. AJ Styles has the most amount on his contract, expiring in August, and is understood the most likely to re-sign with the company. Many are worried about Galloway's contract that expires soon. The two sides have yet to gain much common ground in their discussions.

Major Changes to Impact
There were major changes to this week's Impact episode. After the news over the weekend about Donald Trump's comments, several superstars refused to work the episode. Names are not confirmed as to who refused to work the show, but it was evident that Drago and Tigre Uno did not show. Rey Mysterio did wrestle in a tag team match, being successful against Andrew Everett and Trevor Lee.
The biggest development is the situation with Dynamite versus Impact. Sting did not show, and the reason being reported is the comments by TNA owner Trump has put the weekly TNT show in jeopardy. TNT is reevaluating the comments and mulling whether they want to continue in business with Donald Trump's company.
If the TNT deal falls through, nobody inside knows the backup plan.

SmackDown begins with Alexa Bliss, Emma, Naomi, and Tessa Blanchard around the ring. With the announcement that they are ringside for the Matrons Championship in a "Lumberjill Match." The champion heads to the ring first, followed by the challenger. The challenger came and everyone could feel the rift between Nia Jax and the four women surrounding ringside.
Becky Lynch(c) def. Nia Jax in a Lumberjill Match to retain the WWE Matrons Championship Lynch was thrown to the outside several times, and there'd be a couple shots Alexa Bliss took but for the most part, Lynch was thrown back inside. Nia Jax was sent out once and nobody came to her, but when Lynch dropkicked Nia Jax into the ropes and a second dropkick sent her to the floor, all four women attacked Nia Jax. As Nia fought all four women back, Becky Lynch hit a suicide dive that knocked Nia into the barricade. Lynch and the four got Nia back into the ring for Lynch to try a crossbody, but Nia Jax switched it into a Samoan Drop. Nia warns the four on the outside to stay away for Jax to try a splash, but Lynch rolls out of the way! Lynch then quickly gets the Disarmher on Jax and she has no choice but to tap.
Becky Lynch celebrates with the four others as Nia Jax is not the Matrons Champion! This celebration then turns quickly as Alexa Bliss grabs Becky's arm before the champion leaves. This causes some words to be exchanged before Bliss backs up and decks Tessa Blanchard with a forearm. This begins a four-way fight and Becky Lynch decides to get involved as well, and it is Naomi standing tall at the end after hitting the champion with a Rear View. Naomi grabs the Matrons Championship, perhaps with her sights on the title.
Stephanie McMahon is in her office when she hears a knock and Renee Young walks in. Renee asks for a reaction of what just transpired. Stephanie says if the four women want to fight so bad, they can in tag team action tonight. Booked for tonight is Alexa Bliss and Emma teaming up against Naomi and Tessa Blanchard.
Cody Rhodes def. Kevin Owens In an epic showdown between the two, Owens falls to a Disaster Kick.
Sheamus and The Miz are standing by discussing tonight's match. When The Miz asks if Sheamus has heard from their handpicked partner, he says he'll be here momentarily.
Cultural Revolt are standing at the curtain and Alberto Del Rio breaks the news right before his match that Blake will not be accompanied by himself or Murphy. Del Rio says Blake needs to prove himself on his own tonight, as he goes up against Big E.
Big E w/The New Day def. Blake While The New Day were ringside, they weren't a factor in Blake losing to a Big Ending.
As the match ends, we see Alberto Del Rio watching on a monitor backstage with a disappointed look on his face while Murphy doesn't know what to think. Cutting back to in the ring, the lights go out on The New Day's celebration and when they come back on, the Wyatt Family are attacking the WWE Trios Champions! Wyatt finally lays Big E out with a Sister Abigail as the Wyatt Family make a statement tonight about their next desired conquest.
Batista is taping up when Triple H walks by. Triple H wishes Batista luck tonight, when Batista takes offense to such wish, saying he doesn't need it. Batista promises he's as dangerous as he was 13 years ago when he went to WrestleMania 21 and beat The Game for the World Heavyweight Championship. Batista tells Triple H his job is to find him a worthy opponent, because after tonight, he doesn't want Shinsuke Nakamura again.
Christian w/Tomko def. Kalisto Christian picks up two wins in consecutive weeks, putting Kalisto down with a Killswitch.
After the match, Christian puts the Angle Lock on Kalisto, sending a message to Kurt Angle before letting go. Tomko gets Captain Charisma a microphone for Christian to declare he has a surprise for Kurt Angle next week on SmackDown and invites the Olympic Gold Medalist to the show.
After a commercial, a replay is shown of earlier tonight with the Matrons Championship. The women have already made their entrances in the commercial break, catching the last of Naomi's entrance, for the tag team match to commence.
Alexa Bliss & Emma def. Naomi & Tessa Blanchard Despite Naomi gaining momentum earlier, Alexa Bliss takes it all away by hitting Twisted Bliss and pinning Naomi.
Kevin Owens is frustrated after earlier, when Sami Zayn walks up and pokes fun at his best friend and bitter enemy. Owens then challenges Zayn to a match next week for old time sake and Zayn accepts!
Dolph Ziggler, Michael Bennett, and Tye Dillinger come to the ring and when The Miz and Sheamus head down, they exit the ring. They await their partner when Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring!
Dolph Ziggler, Tye Dillinger & Michael Bennett w/Maria def. Seth Rollins, Sheamus & The Miz Tye Dillinger was close to eating a Brogue Kick before he dropped out of the ring. Sheamus tags Seth Rollins in as he then chases Dillinger off. The Miz and Bennett were on the outside when Rollins looked to hit a Curb Stomp, yet it was Elias Samson coming over the barricade and grabbing Seth's leg. This distracted Rollins enough for Ziggler to hit a Zig-Zag and pin Rollins!
Backstage, Sheamus is running around the halls looking for Tye Dillinger until he stops and he's then smashed in the back with a steel chair! Dillinger stands above Sheamus as we go to the commentary booth.
Tom Phillips and JBL announce a big show for next week! Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn go to battle in what promises to be a 5-star match! In addition, Christian's "surprise" for Kurt Angle. But just announced, the women in the tag team match and the lumberjills from earlier will be in a #1 contenders match with the winner fighting Becky Lynch at WrestleMania. But up now, the WWE Universal Championship match.
As Shinsuke Nakamura made his entrance, Batista rammed him from behind and was sure to drive his back into the apron, the barricade, and lastly to hit a spinebuster on the steel steps. With shades of how he won the title at the Royal Rumble, Batista rolls Nakamura in and aims to win the title quickly.
Shinsuke Nakamura(c) def. Batista to retain the WWE Universal Championship Batista aims to put Nakamura away quickly, but Nakamura was resilient and avoided the Batista Bomb but took punishment to the back. As Batista hit a Spinebuster and shook the ropes for a Batista Bomb, Samoa Joe's music hit. Batista looks out at Samoa Joe steps from the back and strolls to the ring. This distraction allows Nakamura to recover and bounce off the ropes in front of Batista and hit the Kinshasa! Nakamura pins Batista!
As soon as the match is over, Joe slides in and locks in the Coquina Clutch on Shinsuke Nakamura. Nakamura fights it until he is unconscious. Joe then lets go and grabs the WWE Universal Championship, points to the WrestleMania sign with the other, and plants his foot on the champion's chest. Joe then shouts down, to further confirm his decision, "Polish this for the next five weeks, because Joe's coming for you," as SmackDown goes off the air tonight.
