I've made the decision to split the WWE and TNA bookers into two separate threads once again. While "The War" is still on and the two universes remain intertwined, I want the WWE to have its own place and the TNA to have their own. I'll continue to keep "The War Is On" thread updated as the posts are simultaneous, but there's so much I want to do with both companies that their individual threads are required. I had this in mind to do after the WrestleMania booker, but I'm getting a head start on it now. In addition, this WWE is my main focus as I plan on expanding this project, and more on that later. March 19, 2018 Tonight's Raw starts with a recap of last week where Batista attacked Ric Flair and sent him to the hospital. For the first time since the attack, Triple H will speak. But to kick off tonight's show, Finn Balor's challenger for the Intercontinental Championship will be decided in a battle royal right now!
Jeff Hardy wins Battle Royal to face Finn Balor at WrestleMania Jeff Hardy last eliminates his brother Matt in a Hardy showdown for an Intercontinental Championship match at WrestleMania.
Paul Heyman arrives at the arena and Charly Caruso runs to him. Caruso asks about tonight and Heyman says he's given Baron Corbin all the advice he can, but it's up to the young man if he wants his career to come to an early end.
Michael Cole announces a huge main event tonight: Dean Ambrose wrestling WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton one-on-one.
Braun Strowman def. Kane After Dean Ambrose was thrust into last week's match, Strowman still reigns victorious over the Big Red Monster with a Running Powerslam.
Backstage, John Cena stands by with Charly Caruso. Charly Caruso asks about last week and the rumor mill speculating Cena had a hand in Batista's attack on Ric Flair. Cena says he respects Flair and would never, that Batista's actions are his own. Stephanie McMahon then walks up to Cena and informs him that due to Cena's actions last week about attacking the champion, Orton has asked for tonight off and has been granted such. Stephanie then inserts Cena into the main event, wrestling Dean Ambrose. Cena laughs, asking if Stephanie her way of getting back at him is having him do what he loves. Cena says he'll make Ambrose tap, just like he will make Orton tap at WrestleMania to become a 17-time world champion.
Baron Corbin heads to the ring to address Brock Lesnar's challenge for WrestleMania. But before Corbin could deliver his answer, Paul Heyman interrupts. Heyman comes and reminds Corbin he has a long career ahead of him and he will coach him to all the success Lesnar has had, and more, but he'll lose it all if he accepts this match. Corbin towers over Heyman and accepts the match for WrestleMania.
Divas Champion Charlotte is backstage speaking to Billie Kay and Peyton Royce about tonight when she defeats Bayley and puts her in her place, before Paige walks by. Paige lets Charlotte know she'll be watching and if Bayley can beat Charlotte in a rematch from last year's WrestleMania, the "self-proclaimed Queen" shouldn't expect to win at this year's show of shows. Kay and Royce step in between Paige and Charlotte as the Divas Champion lets Paige know she needs to watch closely, because she'll suffer the same fate in New Orleans.
The Revival def. Local Talent in a non-title match The WWE Tag Team Champions make quick work of two locals with a Shatter Machine.
The Revival take to the microphone about not having any competition for WrestleMania, while they are deserving of a WrestleMania moment, no other tag team in the WWE is. All of a sudden, six different tag teams come out and all stake their claim for a shot at the titles. This is then answered by Stephanie McMahon who says The Revival will defend their titles in New Orleans, but that'll be decided over the span of two weeks. Stephanie makes a massive 12-man tag team match now. She pairs American Alpha, The Usos, and New York's Finest together to compete against The Vaudevillians, Big Show & Kane, and Carlito & Chris Masters. The winner of the match next will go on to compete in a triple threat tag team match next week to determine The Revival's #1 contenders.
American Alpha, New York's Finest and The Usos def. Big Show & Kane, Carlito & Chris Masters and The Vaudevillians in a 12-Man Tag Team MatchAs Big Show is about to seal the deal with a WMD on Enzo Amore, Carlito and Masters attack Big Show! This gets into a fight and through the chaos, Aiden tags himself in and gets rocked by Stereo Superkicks by The Usos, followed by a Double Uso Splash to get a #1 contenders match for themselves and the other two teams.
