Cuba Gooding Jr. is joining the cast of Crimson 7!  And he will be playing the younger brother of Quentin.  His name is Wade Miller and he possibly has a bomb shell of a connection to Crimson.

Just wrapped up on episode 4's intro. And although its still very early in S1. Some parts in episode 4 will help set up S2!!!!!!

Episode 1.04 - "Can't Keep Me Down"

Amanda watches in horror as Six has her pinned up against the wall and Capital fires the shot that killed Rebekah. Amanda looks on as if everything is moving in slow motion. Capital then turns to Amanda. He reaches for her gun and pulls it from her belt. Amanda looks terrified as Capital aims the gun at her head. The gun fires and Amanda awakes in a hospital bed. She startledly flinches. She tries to get up but can't. Her non injured arm is cuffed to the safety bar on the bed. The current opens up and Captain Rourke walks in to her room.

Amanda: "Rourke! What the he- AH!"

She feels the effects from her dislocated shoulder.

Rourke: "You've got a dislocated shoulder, 3 broken ribs, and you're lucky to be alive."

Amanda: "Why am I cuffed Rourke!?"

Rourke doesn't respond to her and he turns to leave.

Amanda: "Dammit Mason!"

Rourke spins back around to face her and he looks furious.

Rourke: "You're lucky to even be laying in that hospital bed! If it were up to me I'd left you im that factory and let Crimson have their way with you, but it was your partner, a man who I may have to remind you that you shot at, and left cuffed on the side of the road! And he still saved your sorry ass! Shane and that FBI Miller! You can thank them. But me? I'm not standing for it anymore Woods. You're no longer a detective, hell, you're not even a member of this force! You're a criminal for what you've done! Maybe Rebekah Schmidt would even still be alive if you didn't act in such selfishness..."

Amanda: "How dare you! I didn't have a choice. They were going to kill her if I didn't-"

Rourke: "They were going to kill her either way! But maybe... Just maybe she would have had a chance if you once again didn't stick your nose in things. Now another innocent person is dead because of you..."

Amanda is speechless as Rourke turns and leaves. She throws her head back against her pillow and stares off into space clearly upset.

Capital is standing in the shadows. His mask is off. He has it in his hands, just staring at it. Six walks in on him.

Six: "The others are starting to ask, what's our next move?"

Capital doesn't answer at first. He just continues to stare at his mask, but as a moment passes, he puts it on and steps into the light.

Capital: "The detective's spirit has been broken. Not only could she not save the good reporter, she's also being blamed for her death..."

Six: "I'm not sure if I understand where you're going with this."

Capital pulls out his pistol and sets in on a desk in front of him.

Capital: "Before we move on. We must break not only her spirit, but her body."

Six: "She's under 24 hour surveillance in that hospital. How are you proposing we do that?"

Capital: "Six... Yourself and the others only know each other by your numbers. If you do know anything, it's very little and has no importance to Crimson. But I know all of you, and we have a man on the inside that can finish the job."

Six: "Wait? What?"

Capital: "I've sent Two to handle the detective's fate, and once we get word that she's no longer with us, we'll move on from this city and continue our mission."

There's an akward and odd silence between the two as Six doesn't know how to respond.

Capital: "Will that be all?"

Six: "Yeah... Yeah that's it."

Six leaves and Capital looks on.

~End of Scene~

Amanda is laying in her hospital bed, just staring at her cuffed wrist. Nicole and Walt show up.

Nicole: "Oh my god, Amanda. How are you? Are you okay?'

Amanda: "I've been in worse situations."

Amanda forces a smile. Nicole looks upset while Walt looks down at the floor.

Amanda: "What are you guys doing here anyway? I'm fine. I'm safe. And I'm obviously not going anywhere."

Nicole: "We took our lunch break as soon as we heard. We heard dispatch say your name over the monitor so we came as soon as we could!"

Amanda: "I really appreciate the concern guys, I really do. But there are more people out there who need your help right now more than me."

Walt: "She's right Nicole. We're short handed with everything going on right now. We should get back to it."

Nicole looks at Walt then back at Amanda.

Amanda: "See, even Walt agrees with me. Get back to it you two. Go do what you do best, save lives.

Nicole grabs Amanda's free hand and fights back a tear.

Nicole: "You hang in there okay? I'll be back as soon as my shift ends."

Walt can see Nicole is upset and he places his hand on her shoulder to comfort her.

Amanda: "Watch out for her Walt."

Walt: "Hey this tough gal is the one who watches out for me! I'm still the newbie here. She's the tough one on the team."

Amanda chuckles.

Amanda: "See you guys."

Nicole and Walt leave and Amanda takes in a deep breath.

~End of Scene~

Sully has just arrived to the hospital. He gets out of his car and starts walking through the lot. As he nears the entrance, Rourke steps out.

Rourke: "Officer Wilson... What brings you to this establishment?"

Sully looks a little taken back by Rourke's question.

Sully: "Excuse me?"

Rourke: "Never mind, I know why you're here Sully and the answer is no, you can't see her. Not only do you not have clearance, she's also in custody."

Sully: "Rourke! You son of a *****, she was trying to do what was right! You can't keep her chained to a hospital bed like some criminal!"

Rourke: "Some criminal? She is a criminal Sully! She's responsible for Rebekah Schmidt's death! If she wouldn't have acted like some vigilante, maybe the woman would still be alive. And who are you to question me? I'm your Captain!"

Sully: "Don't forget who made you Captain..."

Sully and Rourke have a hard cold stare down. Rourke pulls out his radio.

Rourke: "This is Captain Rourke, no officer unless given clearance by me is permitted near the suspect."

Rourke puts his radio away and smirks at Sully. Sully looks infuriated.

Rourke: "It looks like you just wasted some gas!"

Rourke walks off leaving Sully.

~End of Scene~

Amanda can hear someone talking to the officer guarding her door. The curtain then opens and Quentin steps in her room.

Quentin: "Woods?"

Amanda: "Agent Miller..."

Quentin: "Listen there isn't much time for me to explain but..."

Quentin pulls a key out of his pocket and he unlocks the cuffs on Amanda's chained wrists. Amanda rubs the soreness out of her wrist as she looks at Quentin in shock.

Amanda: "Quentin? What the hell are you doing?"

Quentin: "I'm getting you out of here. What's it look like I'm doing?"

Amanda: "Are you crazy? If Rourke finds out about this-"

Quentin: "It doesn't matter what he says. I'm FBI and no offense to your credentials, he is just a badge with a King Kong sized ego. I know you aren't the cause of that reporter's murder. But there's something I don't trust about Rourke... He won't let anyone up here to you, and he won't say why."

Amanda looks puzzled but shes intrigued by what Quentin is saying.

Amanda: "You think he's Crimson?"

Quentin: "I don't know. But I don't think we can trust anyone but ourselves. Now I sent the guard away outside your room, and I can't be seen with you, not yet at least. So you're going to have to knock me out."

Amanda: "WHAT!?"

Quentin: "Despite what I said earlier, you're still Rourke's suspect in the death of Rebekah Schmidt, and I can't help you escape."

Amanda: "How am I supposed to do that? I can't exactly jump off the radar."

Quentin: "There's a car in the parking garage. A black range rover and it has the keys inside. You need to find a way down there and get out of here, and I want you to meet me here."

Quentin shows her an address on his phone.

Quentin: "You're going to be on your own Amanda, but believe me, you aren't fighting this thing alone."

Amanda: "I understand..."

Quentin: "It's time."

Quentin grabs a steel sheet off of the examiner's table and hands it to Amanda.

Amanda: "Quentin, I don't know if I ca-"

Quentin: "Just hit me Amanda!"

Amanda swings the sheet back and cracks it over Quentin's head, knocking him out. She even takes his gun. She peeks her head out of the room to see if anyone is watching. She then takes off for the nearest elevator. As she rides down the elevator, she thinks to herself that she can't exactly run out into public in just a hospital gown. She needs fresh supplies.

Amanda exits the elevator and enters the parking garage. She double checks for anyone near her that could be watching. As she carefully begins making her way through the garage, her cell begins to buzz. She see's that it's the forensics lab from her precinct. She hesitates to answer but does anyway.

Amanda: "Hello?"

Norman: "Hello! Detective this is Dr. Norman Greene."

Amanda: "I'm sorry Dr. Greene, now isn't the best ti-"

Norman: "Wait! This will only take a second, I promise! Remember when you asked me to compare the stab wounds from Justin Reyes to the victim Detective Shaw and yourself were investigating?"

Amanda listens carefully.

Norman: "Well, my assistant and I were able to verify that the same type of blade was used on both victims."

Amanda stops dead in her tracks.

Amanda: "Wait, what!?"

Norman: "Yeah I know! We were just as surprised as you were."

Amanda: "But I don't understand... Why would Crimson go out of their way to do that? That isn't their M.O."

Walt: "Because we needed your undivided attention..."

Amanda turns around to find Walt standing a few feet from her. He has a knife that matches the one that killed the victim they were investigating in. Amanda drops her phone in shock and she just stares wide eyed at Walt.

Amanda: "Walt? You're Crimson?"

Walt: "My name's not Walt... Call me Two!"

Walt dashes towards Amanda. She tries to draw her gun but he tackles her to the ground. The gun slides under a car. As Amanda tries to reach for the gun, but Walt jabs her in the jaw. Amanda is out of it as Walt draws his knife. He puts it to her throat.

Walt: "Now you're going to be out of the picture, and then we can finally move on from all of this and can get back to the real mission, and not worry about a ***** like you!"

Amanda: "You know... I'm getting a little tired of that word."

Amanda is able to knee Walt in the groin area and he falls off of her. Amanda jumps to her feet and kicks Walt right in the head. She picks up his knife.

Amanda: "I should kill you right now!"

Walt wipes a trickle of blood from his mouth and smiles.

Walt: "But you won't... You're not a killer Amanda. You're a coward! That's why you couldn't stop us in that warehouse in the first place! You're fellow officers would still be alive! Hell if it wasn't for you, maybe that pretty reporter would still be alive. But now her fiancé is left to grieve for the rest of his life. All of that, just because of you! You probably have to ask yourself, wouldn't it be better if you were the one who had to go? After all, how many more innocent people do you want to get killed under your watch?"

Amanda has an emotionless but fearless look in her eye.

Amanda: "RAAAAH!"

Walt screams in terror as Amanda drives the knife into his knee!

Walt: "AHH! You mother fu- AAAAGH!"

Amanda: "Nobody else is going to get hurt under my watch... You can tell your boss that. Tell him that I'm coming for him and the rest of Crimson."

Walt: "You're DEAD! Do you hear me!? DEAD! You have nobody out there! You're all alone! You can't go home or see family and friends! You're alone! And soon you'll be dead! We'll hunt you down and gut you like the pig you ar-"

Amanda punches him and knocks him out cold. She collects herself and pulls out the keys Quentin gave her. She honks the veichle and makes her escape.

~End of Scene~

Six is sitting in a lounge like room listening to the news. He hears the broadcaster announce that Amanda has escaped police custody and she critically injured an EMT during her escape. Six angrily gets up.

Six: "Capital!?"

As Six exits the lounge, he finds Capital walking into the building.

Six: "The detective got away! Where's Two? I thought he would take care of this?"

Capital doesn't say anything and he keeps on walking.

Six: "What aren't you telling us? We're supposed to be a unit and you are our leader dammit!"

Capital stops and turns to him.

Capital: "Two failed the mission, and now he's probably never going to walk again."

Six: "Two? You mean he's the EMT!?"

Capital: "That is correct Six."

Six: "Now they have him!? What are we supposed to do about that?"

Capital: "No one is aware of Two's identity... He's safe in their hands, and when he's well enough, he'll be on his own."

Six: "What? What are you saying? What kind of game are you playing man? You're obsessed with this detective!"

Capital turns to walk off but Six grabs him by the arm.

Six: "Hey I'm not done talking to yo-"

Six looks down to find a knife lodged in his chest. He looks at Capital before falling dead.

Capital reaches down and pulls his knife out of Six's chest. He wipes the blood off on Six's sleeve.

Capital: "Seven... Three... Five."

Capital walks off.

~End of Scene~

It's after midnight. A brick flies through the window of a department store. Amanda, still dressed in her hospital gown enters through the broken window. She has a backpack strapped to her. She starts going through the store and gathering supplies. Clothes, food, water, and anything else she can get her hands on. A television monitor had been left on and she sees the news broadcasting her story of attacking a federal agent and injuring an EMT before making an escape. If anyone knows her whereabouts or has any information, they are to contact Police Captain Mason Rourke. Amanda takes a deep breath and then goes back to gathering supplies. She hears a car pull up. She peaks over and sees two officers examining the broken window.

Amanda: "Crap..."

Amanda quickly changes into dark clothing and she tries to make her quiet escape, but one of the officers has entered the store and has spotted her.

Officer: "You there! Stop!"

Amanda darts at him and he pulls out his taser. He goes to shoot it but he misses and she takes him down using her self defense methods. She picks up the taser and shoots the other officer! Both are unconscious.

Amanda: "I'm sorry guys... But I don't have a choice. She cuffs the two officers together and launches the keys across the store and escapes.

~End of Scene~

The next day, the police have locked down the scene at the department store. Rourke and Quentin can be seen talking as investigators search the scene. A mass crowd and news teams engulf the area. One person is walking away from the scene unnoticed. Amanda had a hood up and she walks away unnoticed.

Episode 1.05 Preview 

"Blood of the Family"

While Amanda remains vigilant, Shane returns on the scene to track her down.  A new lead in the case against the Crimson 7 breaks through, meanwhile Capital's new motive proves to have grave consequences.

I don't know why, but that phrase just took my interest level for Crimson 7's next episode to the nth degree.

Started episode 5 today. It will serve as the mid season finale. But I won't be taking a break from writing the rest of the season. Hope you're ready...

Due to the tragic passing of actor Bill Paxton whom I had playing Police Captain Mason Rourke, Crimson 7 will officially be shut down in honor of Mr. Paxton.
