November 22 2016 Tonight begins with SmackDown's commissioner The Rock, who thanks everyone for supporting SmackDown and brags about Team SmackDown on Sunday. The Rock says he promised them an opportunity at the very first WWE Universal Championship, which the winner will be crowned tonight. The Rock thanks the WWE Universe, and the championship is for them. The Rock says he must leave SmackDown in good hands, as he's hired a General Manager to help while he's away on other business. The fans begin to boo, but The Rock promises they'll like it... The Rock says he spent time interviewing and picked the person with the brightest vision. Moments pass until the place becomes Stratusfied with Trish Stratus! The new GM thanks The Rock, as The Rock encourages the crowd to enjoy Trish's term as General Manager when The Rock heads out. Trish Stratus elaborates the main event, a 5-Way Match for the first ever WWE Universal Championship tonight live. She also says she'll determine the #1 contender for Natalya's Matrons Championship between the two women who were the reasons for SmackDown Matrons winning on Sunday, Nia Jax and Sasha Banks. Trish leaves the action for now, as we Stratus feels they should kick this regime off with a women's match, pitting Matrons Champion Natalya against Becky Lynch with the title on the line.
Natalya(c) def. Becky Lynch to retain the WWE Matrons Championship Natalya struggles to outlast Becky, collapsing after she wins with a Sharpshooter.
Trish Stratus is in her new office pleased with the opening match, when Sasha Banks steps in. Sasha intends no disrespect but doesn't understand how she eliminates 80% of the Raw Divas, yet Becky Lynch went from not being on the show, to getting a title opportunity handed to her. Banks also doesn't understand why she didn't get the opportunity, but Stratus compliments Sasha by being a huge reason taking the job. Stratus compared Banks to Lita and told her she has full confidence in her tonight, and if she wins, she can have a title match guaranteed at a money-drawing PPV next month.
Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder head out, with Hawkins having his cane and microphone. Hawkins swears he didn't intend to disqualify The Dudley Boyz, but merely push them to get the championships. Hawkins says he and Ryder, who doesn't seem bought in to his longtime best friend, will find some other way to get the titles, and officially want a title shot at the TLC Pay-Per-View next month. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady have issue with this, about to settle this in a match next.
New York's Finest def. Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder Cass and Enzo made Hawkins pay for costing SmackDown the titles with a Boom Shackalacka to win.
After the match was over, Ryder was checking on his buddy Curt Hawkins when The Dudley Boyz music played. Zack got out of dodge as Bubba Ray and D-Von went to work and ended up putting Hawkins through a table with the 3-D.
A video was shown from an interview earlier today conducted by Renee Young with Paul Heyman. Renee asked Heyman where Brock Lesnar has been, not being seen since late April, beating Finn Balor in a Last Man Standing Match, and not even showing up since being drafted to SmackDown. Heyman said Lesnar wasn't pleased on being drafted to the B-Show, because he's an A+ player. Heyman then expressed Lesnar's focus has been on WrestleMania, ever since earlier this year when he was cheated out of a victory against Jeff Hardy, and when he beat Finn Balor at Extreme Rules to prove he's the real man who conquered The Undertaker. Heyman expressed Lesnar isn't so worried about SummerSlam or Survivor Series for that matter, but he's focused on returning to WrestleMania and becoming world champion again. Heyman said his client was pleased about SmackDown getting a world title, but it's only a matter of time until Lesnar is the WWE Universal Champion. When Renee asked how he'd accomplish that, Heyman spoiled his client Brock Lesnar will return at the Royal Rumble, thus being the first man to enter the Royal Rumble Match.
Ryback def. Tye Dillinger Upset over last night, Ryback was able to redeem himself with a Shell Shocked on Dillinger.
The new General Manager of SmackDown is in her office when Maria steps in. Maria says she can't wrap her head around not being placed in the #1 contenders match, or let alone the WWE Matrons Championship match itself. Maria cited her being captain and leading the SmackDown Matrons to victory on Sunday. Trish saw things differently, as Maria was the first to be eliminated, and rather quickly at that. Maria disregarded that comment, saying Stratus has always been jealous and that is why she never reached her full potential in her first run, but she won't let Trish being GM hold her down. Maria warned Trish to watch her step, as she headed out.
A vignette was aired for the return of a new and improved Justin Gabriel to SmackDown.
Sasha Banks def. Nia Jax To determine a #1 contender for TLC, Sasha hit a diving double knee on Nia, then locking in the Crossface of the Banks Statement for Jax to submit.
Rich Brennan and JBL reminds everyone that SmackDown will be returning to Thursday nights beginning next week, as they mark down that the #1 contenders will be decided for the WWE Tag Team Championships, a match between New York's Finest and The Dudley Boyz. They also bring up that Trish Stratus has booked former Intercontinental Champion Luke Harper against Cody Rhodes. Then the commentators switch gears, playing taped responses for the 5 competitors wrestling for the WWE Universal Championship next.
The Universal Championship is revealed by the Orange County Choppers at the top of the stage:
OT: Hoping for someone to make me a render of this title, but until then, this will have to do
Braun Strowman vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Finn Balor vs. Randy Orton vs. Sheamus for the inaugural WWE Universal Championship With one fall to a finish, a great match ended with a bunch of finishing moves to finish. Balor's Coup de Grace attempt was countered by a Catch RKO for the ages! Orton then turned around and got clotheslined to the outside by Braun Strowman, when Strowman only turned around for a Brogue Kick that tipped him over the top rope. Sheamus then got into a fist fight with Dean Ambrose, that turned into Sheamus missing a Brogue Kick, for Ambrose to hit the Dirty Deeds. As Ambrose went for the cover, he saw Orton lining up for a punt at the corner of his eye, when Ambrose avoided it, standing up and hitting Orton with the Dirty Deeds, pinning Orton for the three.
The crowning of the first ever WWE Universal Champion is remarkable as Dean Ambrose is the first person to ever cling the title to his chest, that celebrates the SmackDown greats of the past and the WWE Universe and the brand's future. Confetti begins to fall as Ambrose celebrates this once in a lifetime achievement... But this all fails when Ambrose turns around into an oncoming train in Braun Strowman. Strowman eventually lifts the new champion up as confetti begins to cease, when Strowman locked in the lifting arm triangle choke, and then dropping Ambrose down in enough time for the Yokosuka Cutter. Strowman stood tall above the new WWE Universal Champion as Trish's first night as General Manager finishes.

What a Smackdown! Loved the introduction of Trish as the GM! And she had a heck of a night as her first time as GM. Dean Ambrose was the right guy to win and become inaugural Universal Champ. As much as I loved your most recent episode of Raw, just like in real life WWE, Smackdown was even better!!

As much as I loved your most recent episode of Raw, just like in real life WWE, Smackdown was even better!! I appreciate the feedback man!! I'm glad you enjoyed the SmackDown episode and yeah, I couldn't think of anyone better than Dean Ambrose to be the first ever. It was honestly between him and Orton, but it obviously needed to be a young gun lol

November 23 2016 Still in Toronto from NXT Takeover, this episode of NXT was taped. William Regal headed out with real concern, demanding the three men responsible for ruining the main event to come to the ring, to show their faces. The three men do come out and Regal said he's watched them from the Performance Center, and ask why they would ruin such a historical moment. As the three men inched closer to the ring, and eventually surrounded William Regal, the GM got concerned. The middle man snatched the microphone away and asked Regal if they still thought they were the future, and asked if they still had his support from the Performance Center. He felt it rude that Regal wouldn't call them out by name, and so he began to introduce them. He introduced one as former NFL linebacker and nephew of The Rock, Kaluka Maiava! He introduced the one on his other side as grandson of Afa and the son of The Great Samu, and said he'd like to be known as Ku Mahana. He then introduces himself as the adopted son of Haku, one of the biggest commodities from Japan, Tama Tonga. Regal asked for a second microphone to say if they are trying to go the route of The Shield, that's not the way things are done in NXT. Tama Tonga laughed and called The Shield "cute" but when they're through with NXT, The Shield will be second to The Tolutasi. Regal gulps as he warns Tonga, Maiava, and Mahana to stay out of the ring tonight for the main event. Tonga laughs and says they paid their own expenses to make the trip to Toronto so they could wrestle in front of Canadians. Regal contemplated and eventually settled on a deal if they competed right now, they would leave and not interfere in the main event tonight between Apollo Crews and Zack Sabre Jr. They agreed as Regal summoned Angelo Dawkins, Mojo Rawley, and Solomon Crowe to the ring for 6-man tag action, and the debut of The Tolutasi.
The Tolutasi def. Angelo Dawkins, Mojo Rawley, and Solomon Crowe Dawkins and Rawley looked to be working well together, but The Tolutasi got to a point where they'd dominate and win with a Codebreaker Tower.
Zack Sabre Jr. gets an interview with Charly Caruso and recalls in his interview Sunday he mentioned not signing a contract yet. Sabre Jr said after The Tolutasi interfered, he signed his deal because after competing for the title, win or lose, he wants The Tolutasi to be taught a lesson.
Tessa Blanchard def. Eva Marie Tessa's superior skills were evident, winning with a Slingshot German Suplex.
Corey Graves and Byron Saxton are hyping the NXT Championship match, where a winner must be crowned, between Apollo Crews and Zack Sabre Jr in the main event.
Kota Ibushi def. Fandango In the rubber match, Kota Ibushi went over on Fandango with the Golden Star Bomb.
Mojo Rawley and Angelo Dawkins were backstage, upset they lost, but feel they can be a team to make an impact in NXT and be the NXT Tag Team Champions one day. American Alpha, the current champions, hear this and say that is ridiculous and it takes a lot of hard work, with meaning no disrespect that they lost tonight. Rawley and Dawkins challenged American Alpha to a match next week, not even insisting the titles be on the line. Jordan and Gable converse, thinking it can't hurt, and they accept.
Apollo Crews gets an interview with Charly Caruso and says he's been waiting to become NXT Champion for the longest time and won't let anyone ruin that for him, not Zack Sabre Jr, and not The Tolutasi.
Michael Bennett storms into William Regal's office and is fed up with Adam Cole, especially after costing him the NXT Championship at NXT Takeover Toronto. Bennett asks for a match versus Adam Cole next week, when Regal says he took care of the situation by suspending Adam Cole for the rest of the month, which includes next week. Bennett was upset, and while Regal understood Bennett has some frustration built up, he can schedule a match with the other semifinalist Baron Corbin for next week. Bennett isn't pleased, but he steps out before things get worse, as our title match is next.
Apollo Crews def. Zack Sabre Jr to win the NXT Championship A terrific match finishes with Apollo catching Sabre trying to go for a Moonsault, but hit an Electric Chair to win.
As Regal's promise came to fruition and a new NXT Champion was crowned, we saw Apollo look at Zack Sabre Jr trying to stand on his two feet. The two shake hands out of admiration for one another when both are attacked by The Tolutasi. They're beaten and battered, and it ends with a Codebreaker Tower on the new champion as NXT in Toronto comes to a close.

Many would notice Jerry Lawler didn't commentate this Monday's Raw. Apparently, Lawler was sent home and suspended indefinitely by the company early Monday morning. WWE did not elaborate on the incident, but sources inside said it was bad enough they're "shocked" Lawler is still with the company. Tyson Kidd filled in because he was easily contactable on short notice. Trish Stratus was named General Manager while The Rock takes care of other endeavors. The question has been raised if WWE wants Trish Stratus to return to the ring for a match or two, and the general consensus is that is in the plans for the future. It's unclear if Trish would wrestle any matron on the SmackDown roster, but it's understood she will definitely be involved with storylines headed into WrestleMania. It was announced on NXT the company officially signed Zack Sabre Jr to a contract. It also happens to be that Noam Dar, Shane Hollister, John Kay, and Michael Bennett have signed. Kassius Ohno is expected to sign a deal with WWE, but in what capacity is to be decided. Kota Ibushi is the one WWE is aggressively pursuing, but sources close to Ibushi say he's leaning towards returning to New Japan. How has room been made for these moves? It was announced that NXT stars Damien Sandow and Cameron were released from the WWE. Another veteran, Sin Cara (fka Hunico) was also future endeavored by the WWE headed into December.

November 28 2016 The WWE World Heavyweight Champion begins Raw with the spotlight on him in the ring, as Bray Wyatt explains why he attacked John Cena last week. Wyatt says being on top of the world, he now preys on those beneath him. Bray considers Cena beneath him, but not his legacy. Bray Wyatt says he is on the path of becoming the greatest world champion in WWE history, and he starts with the legacy of John Cena. Wyatt is the one to issue a world title defense against John Cena at the TLC pay-per-view on December 11th.
Kevin Owens def. Hideo Itami The self-decorated Canadian Champion handled business against Itami, finishing with a Popup Powerbomb.
As Kevin Owens celebrated with his custom made Canadian Championship, the United States Champion Tyler Breeze came out. Breeze stopped at the bottom of the ramp and talked to Owens, while still looking at his mirrored image. Breeze said he likes the idea of a Canadian Championship, and since he won at Survivor Series, he wants Kevin to hand that belt over. Owens refused, when this prompted Roman Reigns out. Reigns said he can't stand for Owens and Breeze to be fighting over a Canadian Championship, when the United States Championship has been held by some of the greats in the business. Reigns says he's proud of America and if nobody else wants it, he'll have the United States Championship. Out came the Raw Commissioner and Mick Foley said this is interesting, and made a match for right now, a non-title one with Tyler Breeze up against Roman Reigns! Owens opted to head up the ramp and join Michael Cole and Tyson Kidd on commentary.
Roman Reigns def. Tyler Breeze via Disqualification in a non-title match When the going got tough, Breeze skedaddled up the ramp, and as Reigns chased after him, Owens attacked Reigns.
When Breeze and Owens, though at odds, had a 2-on-1 beatdown with America's Roman Reigns, they worked together. Breeze sent Reigns into Owens for a Popup Powerbomb on the stage, and this was how that ended.
Nikki Bella, as she prepares for her Divas Championship match tonight, sees her sister Brie Bella. Brie asks Nikki where her mind's at, as Brie advocates for her and John separating. Brie even plants in Nikki's mind that Cena needs to focus on Bray Wyatt and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, especially as the two inch closer towards WrestleMania season.
The Vaudevillians def. Neville and Kalisto in a non-title match Simon and Aiden had a rough time with the agility and quickness of their opponents, but a Rolling Dervish on Neville worked to their advantage.
Bayley is at the interview table with Tom Phillips, saying how great of an honor it is to be apart of Raw and Bayley says her goal is to win the Divas Championship. She's asked about the result of tonight's title match and predicts Charlotte coming out on top, not that she's pulling for her, but she knows how dangerous Charlotte is. Dana Brooke then heads over and crashes the interview, hurling insults to Bayley's childlike persona. Dana ends up hitting Bayley and slamming her face on the table and the two spill over, ending with Dana throwing Bayley shoulder-first into the wall.
Samoa Joe def. Titus O'Neil A Coquina Clutch was all it took for Joe to go over in this match.
John Cena is talking to Mick Foley, with audio not catching the conversation, when Nikki Bella heads over and seems to pull Cena aside to talk.
Alberto Del Rio def. Sami Zayn Christian headed out with Tomko to distract Zayn, allowing Del Rio to hit an Enzugiri from behind and a side kick to win.
Christian convinces Tomko to attack Zayn after Del Rio's match. Christian even persuades Del Rio to partake and this 3-on-1 beatdown is in effect until Daniel Bryan heads in, steel chair in hand, to clear the ring. Bryan helped Zayn to his feet and the two stood their ground with Christian and Del Rio getting out of dodge before things got out of hand.
Michael Cole and Tyson Kidd recap what's happened so far, and they then introduce a video package for the Divas Championship match next.
Nikki Bella def. Charlotte(c) to win the WWE Divas Championship Nikki showed a more focused and vicious side, and though Charlotte nearly retained, the title slipped through her fingers with a Bella Buster.
While Nikki was celebrating her fourth Divas Championship, her emotion changed when John Cena's music hit. Cena was not in a great mood and he didn't even look at Nikki as he headed to the ring and pointed to the ramp, telling Nikki to get out. Nikki broke into tears before obliging and Cena paced around the ring headed into the final commercial.
Coming back from commercial, John Cena had been pacing throughout the entire break. Cena demanded Mick Foley to give him Bray Wyatt, and if Wyatt wants some, Cena will give him some. Foley headed out and admitted he doesn't know what is going on with him and Nikki, when Cena warned Foley not to bring her up. Cena reiterated he wanted Bray Wyatt, and Foley told Cena that the champion is dangerous, Cena was having nothing of it and said Bray doesn't know dangerous and is not the most dangerous man in the entire company anymore. A whole other side from Cena tonight, as Foley about made the match, when Cena added he wants the match in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match on December 11th. Foley gulped and reluctantly gave in, giving the match to Cena. This is how Raw ends, as Foley was even scared what had come out of John Cena here tonight.

November 30 2016 American Alpha def. Angelo Dawkins and Mojo Rawley in a non-title match Rawley and Dawkins gave Jordan and Gable fits physically, but the chemistry came in play, with Grand Amplitude winning it.
As Chad Gable and Jason Jordan was catching their breath after no easy outing tonight, they hear the music of The Tolutasi. Out came Maiava, Mahana, and Tonga as they surrounded the NXT Tag Team Champions. They get in position and Jordan and Gable won't back down, initiating contact. That didn't end well, as The Tolutasi owned them and ended with a Codebreaker Tower on Gable to signify their dominance in NXT using only their actions.
Billie Kay and Peyton Royce are backstage talking as friends, trashing Carmella's efforts at NXT Takeover Toronto. They then make a pact to support each other on whoever can topple Asuka, when Alexa Bliss heads over and can't help but put her name in the hat to face Asuka next. Tessa Blanchard then gets involved and recalls her win last week, and when Bliss disregarded it because it was against Eva Marie and "even a caveman" could beat Eva, Billie infers Tessa to be a caveman and this is when things get into a heated argument.
Noam Dar def. Tashard Wiggins In a friendly exhibition, Dar picked up the victory in a tight matchup with the Champagne Superkneebar.
Charly Caruso tries to catch a word from The Tolutasi for attacking NXT Tag Team Champions American Alpha earlier. Tama Tonga likes the attention and takes advantage of the moment, while leaving Charly and the rest of NXT wanting more, as Tama Tonga said they are here to take. Tama Tonga said American Alpha are two posers, but there's three men in NXT now who are the real deal.
Corey Graves and Byron Saxton announce that next week, per William Regal's office, there is a Fatal-4 Way to determine the #1 contender for Asuka's championship. Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, Alexa Bliss, and Tessa Blanchard all have even opportunity next week. They then turn for the main event at NXT next.
Michael Bennett def. Baron Corbin It takes everything out of Bennett, but his Ushigoroshi separates him from Corbin this match.
Bennett, after winning the match, grabs a microphone while he's still panting. Bennett says next week, he expects Adam Cole in the middle of this ring, before tossing the mic and headed out as NXT goes off air, exclusively on the WWE Network.

December 1 2016 SmackDown began with the new authoritative figure, GM Trish Stratus, in the ring. Stratus lays out the plan for tonight, reminding the fans the #1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships will be decided tonight between The Dudley Boyz and New York's Finest. Plus, Intercontinental Champion Luke Harper in action against Cody Rhodes. Stratus then introduces the new WWE Universal Champion Dean Ambrose! Ambrose accepts the invitation, and takes advantage of the invite, by asking Trish if he can address something. Ambrose asked if she would address Braun Strowman's attack last week, ruining his moment. Ambrose brings up a Pay-Per-View in ten days and doesn't mind getting at Strowman then. Stratus said she was thinking more along the lines of Dean Ambrose versus Randy Orton in a Tables Match. Dean Ambrose let Trish know gently he wanted Strowman, and when Stratus said it wouldn't be right to reward Strowman, she can make a match tonight. Stratus said the main event can be Randy Orton versus Braun Strowman in a Tables Match, to determine who will go on to the "real" Tables Match at the TLC pay-per-view to challenge Dean Ambrose. Ambrose is pleased with it, and warns Stratus if Strowman doesn't win, he eventually wants his hands on Strowman himself, title or not, before leaving on his own accord.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Cody Rhodes in a non-title match Rhodes was inches away from an upset when Ryback hopped the barricade and hit a Meathook Clothesline on Rhodes, calling for the bell.
Ryback dumped Nakamura to the outside and took advantage of Cody Rhodes, beating him up. Ryback eventually went to the outside to get a steel chair and warped Cody's back with it, before placing Cody's arm in the steel chair and stepping on it, as Rhodes yelped in pain.
Dolph Ziggler is backstage and saying "it should've been me" to the only one who will listen, a backstage crew member. Finn Balor hears this and asks Ziggler what he's talking about, when Ziggler says it should have been him that was the first ever WWE Universal Champion. Ziggler took it a step further saying Finn Balor didn't belong in the match, and if he had been in his spot, he would have sealed the deal. Balor takes offense, asking Ziggler if he wants to settle it in the ring, and Dolph said to be careful with what he wishes for, calling Finn a "little boy" before brushing past him.
New York's Finest def. The Dudley Boyz Curt Hawkins gets involved again and inadvertently costs the Dudley Boyz again, and with nailing D-Von with the cane, Enzo and Cass hit Bada Boom Shakalaka to become #1 contenders.
Trish Stratus is in her office with Nia Jax and Becky Lynch. Stratus makes it clear that as General Manager of SmackDown, she still remembers how it is to be a competitor, and she wants to make the matrons division a priority. Stratus says they both lost, but are two of the fastest rising women competitors in sports today. Trish said she's allowing them to wrestle tonight to redeem themselves are last week's losses. Nia Jax tells Becky Lynch she'll put out her last spark before headed out of Trish's office.
Dolph Ziggler def. Finn Balor Ziggler had to resort to a thumb to the eye before a Zig-Zag to put Balor away this match.
Renee Young welcomes her guest Randy Orton and asks about tonight's opportunity to earn a WWE Universal Championship match at the TLC pay-per-view a week from Sunday. Orton said he fell short of history last week when he lost last week, and he's had to wrestle it. Orton relished in his 12 world championship reigns, and says he is still one of the prime players on SmackDown. Orton said he can't wait to put Braun Strowman through a table, to go on to put Dean Ambrose through a table, and win lucky 13.
A vignette was aired for the return of a new and improved Justin Gabriel, who was drafted to the brand in October.
Nia Jax def. Becky Lynch With both trying to get back to winning ways, Nia Jax was the one to do so with a running leg drop to put Becky away.
The Dudley Boyz are in the office of Trish Stratus going ballistic after Curt Hawkins costing them AGAIN. Bubba Ray has had enough and they want Curt Hawkins next week. Stratus begins to make a tag team match between The Dudley Boyz and Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder, when Bubba Ray is convinced it's only Hawkins, and they want Hawkins. D-Von says it will be fine, in which the best Trish can offer is make it an elimination match for certainty to get their hands on Curt Hawkins. They like the idea and take the offer.
JBL and Rich Brennan in the press box are excited about next week, but more excited about TLC. They mention New York's Finest, Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady, challenging for the WWE Tag Team Championships at TLC. They also bring up the WWE Matrons Championship match between champion Natalya and challenger Sasha Banks. They then wonder who will challenge Dean Ambrose for his newly won WWE Universal Championship at the PPV, Randy Orton or Braun Strowman. They send it down for the decision now as the main event begins.
Braun Strowman def. Randy Oron in a Tables Match As Orton created distance from Strowman, he charged across the ring, only for Strowman to use the momentum to lift Orton up and use that momentum against him, launching him in the air, flying to the outside, and through a table set up earlier in the match.
The entire arena was in awe after Braun Strowman literally threw Randy Orton through a table to win the match. They show champion Dean Ambrose backstage watching bug-eyed after that. Strowman's test run in a Tables Match was great, and the real deal comes on December 11th when he challenges for the WWE Universal Championship in a Tables Match against Dean Ambrose. Strowman standing above all is how we end SmackDown this week.

December 5 2016 John Cena began tonight's episode, not explaining why he was in a bad mood last week, but sort of digressing. Cena says he had never been like that in his entire career, and apologizes. This is when Bray Wyatt popped up on the titantron and laughed, knowing he's gotten inside Cena's head, and warns Cena about the tables, ladders, and chairs he'll have to suffer through on Sunday in their WWE World Heavyweight Championship match, before popping off. Cena's in the ring when The Homage Wreckers come out at the wrong time and remind Cena he can become a 16-time world champion this Sunday tying Ric Flair, and he's too focused on a girl. Hennig asks Rotunda if she, referring to Nikki, is single now and wonders if he can "hit her up" which infuriates Cena. Cena shouts if they came to the ring, they can both be here for a fight. Cena gets prepped for a handicap match to kick off Raw, as The Homage Wreckers reluctantly accept, but use the numbers logic to gain confidence.
John Cena def. The Homage Wreckers Cena ran through this handicap match, putting the fear in Bray with his intensity, and Hennig would bail only for Rotunda to be hit with an AA and submit to the STF.
New Divas Champion Nikki Bella was seen watching Cena on the monitor backstage when her sister Brie comes up from behind and reminds her that her career is going in the right direction, and she has her prime to think about. Brie tugs Nikki away from the monitor as we get back to the ring.
The WWE Tag Team Champions Aiden and Simon, The Vaudevillians, are in the ring for a skit poking fun at Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady, their new #1 contenders for Sunday's event. The Vaudevillians mock Enzo's and Colin's hood accents, while The Vaudevillians are obviously more diligent with their speech and conduct. The Usos then head out and say it's not about their background or where they come from, as The Usos mention themselves as 4-time WWE Tag Team Champions. Aiden said he can't think of a single thing the Usos can teach them, considering they aren't interested in 4 or 5 title reigns, but they're interested in just 1. Aiden says they'll only need 1 to make all the title reigns of The Usos irrelevant.
The Usos def. The Vaudevillians in a non-title match Aiden and Simon apparently motivated The Usos enough to cost them the match, losing to a Double Samoan Splash on Aiden.
As Michael Cole and Tyson Kidd discuss The Vaudevillians unprepared for Amore and Cassady on Sunday when their titles are on the line, they also express concern Raw may lose their championships to SmackDown. They send it backstage where Tom Phillips is at his interview table with Dana Brooke. Phillips asks why Dana attacked his guest last week Bayley, when Dana Brooke said he's the one at fault for inviting Bayley on instead of her. Dana says she feels disrespected and overlooked with the Bellas, Charlotte, Bayley, and Paige all on Raw. Dana says she is the one who will be remembered when they are all done and retired as SAHMs, this is when Bayley heads over. Dana tenses up, but Bayley tells Dana to relax and she's not here to fight. Bayley says Dana has her attention and if she wants the WWE Universe's attention, she'll wrestle her next week on Raw. Dana backed down at the challenge, saying that's not going to happen, before walking away.
Alberto Del Rio and Christian w/Tomko def. Daniel Bryan and Sami Zayn Things spilled to the outside with Del Rio and Bryan in order for Tomko to take advantage of the referee's distraction, striking Zayn in the back with a chair, for Christian to hit the Killswitch.
After Christian picks up a huge win over Sami Zayn, Tomko hands Christian the steel chair and unleashes on Sami Zayn with the chair. Christian even places the chair on the mat to hit a second Killswitch, this being on the chair. Tomko then grabs another chair from the outside and hands it to Christian, using the two chairs for a Con-chair-to. Christian raised the chair high above his head after just laying out Zayn.
Kevin Owens and Tyler Breeze are with their championships, though Owens was self-crowned, and Owens does majority of the talking. Owens reveals in this conversation they've been paired up in a tag team match tonight against Matt and Jeff Hardy. Owens says they should be on the same page for just one night and then at TLC, battle it out for all the marbles. Breeze, looking at himself the entire time, told Owens he can wrestle Matt and Jeff Hardy, but since tonight doesn't benefit him, he'll just be present. Owens tried explaining beating The Hardy Boyz would be huge for Breeze's career and might launch him with something greater than the United States Championship, hinting at a world title. Breeze took it as the Canadian Championship, and this surfaced some uneasiness between the two.
Charlotte heads to the ring and one week after losing her championship, she's hearing it from the rest of the crowd. Charlotte commands Nikki Bella to the ring, as the Divas Champion heads out with her sister, but Charlotte requests Brie be sent to the back because it's just between her and Nikki. Nikki convinced Brie to do so, in which she obeyed, and Charlotte went on to say things with her and Nikki have been continuing over a year, and there must be an end. Charlotte said they shall settle things this Sunday in a 2-out-of-3 falls match, with no excuses. Nikki pondered and decided to accept, shaking hands, but as Charlotte pulled away, Nikki gripped and pulled her back in face-to-face. Charlotte said Nikki just made the biggest mistake of her life, before Nikki let go and let her challenger walk.
Bayley def. Paige Coming out of commercial, we had a divas match, one Bayley took with a Bayley-to-Belly.
As Bayley celebrated in the ring, she was blindsided by Dana Brooke, who would beat her down and hit the exclamation point with a Fireman's Carry Slam, then insulting Bayley as she looked down upon her.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt popped up on the titantron for a promo and mentioned Cena's significance in his career, particularly at WrestleMania 30. Wyatt said he would end John Cena in an instant this Sunday in TLC, and that Nikki won't be inflicting the most pain to John Cena come this Sunday. He pops off as the commentary team advertises the matches for Raw this Sunday at the TLC event when we get set for the main event. This included a new match, one between Christian and Sami Zayn in a Chairs Match.
Kevin Owens and Tyler Breeze def. The Hardy Boyz via Disqualification Jeff and Matt had this won with a Twist of Fate on Owens but as Breeze began to leave, Roman Reigns headed down and hit a right hand to Tyler, as the ref caught it and called for the bell as Jeff went for the pin after a Swanton Bomb.
Roman Reigns attacked Tyler Breeze some more and turned his attention to Kevin Owens with a spear, all while the Hardy Boyz argued the decision with the referee. We see Mick Foley head out and demand answers from Roman Reigns, in which he gets his hands on a microphone and said he doesn't want two disrespectful scumbags from Canada as champion, and if they were going to jump him last week, he would get it back. Reigns demands he has both of them this Sunday because he wants to be a rightful United States Champion. Mick thinks of it and says he was confronted by both Owens and Breeze about the possibility of a Canadian Champion. Foley says he'll make Tyler Breeze versus Kevin Owens versus Roman Reigns this Sunday in a ladder match. Foley says both the Canadian Championship belt and the United States Championship belt will be hung above the ring and whichever the winner pulls down will be the official secondary title of Monday Night Raw. Everyone loved this idea, but then Jeff Hardy grabbed a mic and told Foley to hold up. Jeff said he and Matt were seconds away from pinning Kevin Owens and beating both Owens and Breeze. Jeff said if there is going to be a ladder match this Sunday, the Hardy Boyz need to be in it! Foley asked if Matt and Jeff were willing to compete against each other for one of those titles, and Matt got the mic from his brother to say they'll go to war to make sure the country is in great hands. Foley officially made it a 5-Way Ladder Match for one of the championships, adding the Hardy Boyz in to their match specialty, and this is how Raw goes off the air.
