December 8 2016 SmackDown started tonight with WWE Universal Champion Dean Ambrose. Ambrose reflected, or tried to, on Braun Strowman's win, and he even showed the replay of Randy Orton going through the table on the outside. Ambrose played around with it until out came Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler discredited Ambrose's championship victory because he wasn't in the match, yet should have been. Ambrose said he could settle things right now, and he took off his leather jacket, ready for a fight. Dolph began to bail, but here came Trish Stratus, the new SmackDown General Manager, and Stratus made the match right now! Stratus gave Ziggler the incentive that if he can defeat Dean Ambrose tonight, next week he can challenge the WWE Universal Champion on SmackDown.
Dolph Ziggler def. Dean Ambrose in a non-title match Taking advantage of Braun Strowman's mistimed theme, Ambrose had his back turned for a perfect Zig Zag and suffering a loss.
Sasha Banks gets an interview backstage with Renee Young, who asks about her opportunity this Sunday to become the WWE Matrons Champion, when Nia Jax comes to squash the hopes of Sasha Banks. Banks, out of peer pressure, accepts a match with Nia Jax here tonight, only 72 hours before her title match.
Right before the tag team elimination match begins, Curt Hawkins is on the mic pleading in front of The Dudley Boyz, but when the bell rings with Ryder and Bubba Ray in the ring, Ryder opts to lay down for it to be a 2-on-1 officially. Zack Ryder even popped Curt Hawkins in the mouth before the Dudley Boyz got in on it.
The Dudley Boyz def. Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder in an Elimination Tag Team Match After Ryder bowed out, Bubba Ray and D-Von got their hands on Curt Hawkins and ended things with a vicious 3D.
As The Dudley Boyz celebrated, they decided to get a table and put Curt Hawkins down for good with a second 3D, this one through the table. We then went backstage to see Ryback with Renee Young, reviewing footage of him attacking Cody Rhodes with a chair last week. Ryback says he made sure Cody wouldn't be around for the rest of 2016, and now he can set his sights on championship gold. Ryback says Shinsuke Nakamura is his, and beating Nakamura will give him leverage to become the next Intercontinental Champion.
Tye Dillinger def. Sheamus A huge upset for Tye Dillinger, hitting the Tye Breaker on Sheamus to steal the win.
Natalya gets an interview with Renee Young and comments on Sasha's match in a few moments against Nia Jax, calling it foolish. Natalya said she never would intentionally book a match 72 hours before a championship match. Natalya hopes her challenger can make it this Sunday in one peace. They cut away to the ring for Sasha's match now.
Sasha Banks def. Nia Jax Sasha Banks struggled, and even hurt her knee, but was able to use Bankrupt to top Nia Jax.
As Sasha Banks celebrated her victory, her knee was knocked from underneath her and Nia Jax went to work. Nia would even drop all her weight with a running leg drop to the knee. Natalya then jogged to the ring to take on Nia Jax, punching and rocking the dominant matron, and paid attention to the crowd, with this giving Nia Jax enough time to get out of the ring and out of dodge. Natalya checked on Sasha Banks who was in bad shape and called for medical attention, headed into a commercial.
Shinsuke Nakamura def. Ryback in a non-title match Ryback was nearing a win over the Intercontinental Champion, but Cody came with his arm bandaged and holding a steel chair with another, distracting Ryback for a Kinshasa.
As Shinsuke Nakamura was handed his championship and left, down came Cody Rhodes with the steel chair. Cody slid it in the ring and decided to smack it across Ryback's back a few times before placing the arm of Ryback in the chair. Cody was ready to attack it, but Ryback dislodged the chair from his arm and rolled out of the ring. Cody asked for a microphone and said he was watching Raw and heard of a Chairs Match taking place at TLC, and thought that was a great idea. Cody challenged Ryback to a Chairs Match, in which Ryback nodded and accepted.
Backstage, nearing the end of SmackDown, we see WWE Universal Champion Dean Ambrose with an ice pack on his neck. Ambrose says Braun Strowman made the biggest mistake of his life by playing his music earlier tonight. Ambrose says he'll pay this Sunday, and warns Strowman he will be sent through a table! This is how SmackDown tonight ends, and the next stop is TLC!

Daniel Bryan def. Alberto Del Rio on the KickoffBryan would use the B-Plus to put Del Rio away here on the Kickoff.Christian w/Tomko def. Sami Zayn in a Chairs Match on the KickoffZayn had the advantage, but Tomko made his presence known with a chair of his own when the going got tough, hitting a Con-chair-to with Christian, with the match then ending on an Unprettier on a chair.December 11 2016 TLC begins with the Raw commentary duo of Michael Cole and Tyson Kidd, as Raw kicks off the night. They remind everyone of the rules of the 5-Way Ladder Match up next for either the United States or Canadian Championship, depending on which title the victor decides to pull down. Roman Reigns def. Tyler Breeze(c), Kevin Owens, Jeff Hardy, and Matt Hardy in a Ladder Match to win the United States ChampionshipOwens and Breeze would take out the Hardy Boyz before Owens turned on Breeze, and as Owens went up to retrieve the Canadian Championship, Reigns would come and tip over the ladder, set it back up, and grab the United States Championship belt.Nia Jax is bragging to Raw's Dana Brooke backstage about how she took out Sasha Banks, letting Dana know that's how you get rid of annoying pests like Banks and Bayley. Nia brags about Sasha not being able to compete tonight, when Trish Stratus enters the picture and Dana Brooke scrams. Trish Stratus lets Nia Jax know that Sasha Banks is moments away from competing for the WWE Matrons Championship, and also lets Nia Jax know that she won't be in the title picture anytime in the near future. Stratus heads off with Nia Jax frustrated. Natalya(c) def. Sasha Banks to retain the WWE Matrons ChampionshipSasha's knee was giving her fits, and it was her downfall when she tapped to the Sharpshooter.Cody Rhodes is preparing for his Chairs Match later on against Ryback when SmackDown's General Manager heads up to him. Trish reiterates his match with Ryback will still go on, but she wants to remind him she's running a business in a heated competition. Stratus tells Cody he better not ever advertise a Raw match again on a SmackDown show. Cody apologizes and promises it won't happen again, when Stratus wishes Cody luck. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady, New York's Finest, headed to the ring and cut a short promo before this interpromotional contest for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady mock The Vaudevillians and their "throwback" gimmick as a "setback" gimmick. They also say if they want to be apart of the past, they can be left in 2016 as Enzo and Cass are going towards the future and into 2017 as the WWE Tag Team Champions! The Vaudevillians(c) def. New York's Finest to retain the WWE Tag Team ChampionshipsEnzo's words fell short and he ate them too with a Rolling Dervish from the champs.Cody Rhodes is caught by Renee Young for a quick word before headed out for his Chairs Match. When asked about his arm, Cody says it is fine to swing a chair and that his only concern is to put Ryback away. Cody Rhodes def. Ryback in a Chairs MatchFighting through his bandaged arm, even when it got exposed, Cody's win came after pushing Ryback off the top rope into a pile of chairs, hitting an elbow drop (with his good arm) and then hitting Cross-Rhodes to overcome Da Big Guy.Brie Bella is interviewed by Tom Phillips at his interview table setup and is asked about the Divas Championship match in moments between Charlotte and sister Nikki. Brie says her sister has been concentrated on her title for the last week, zoned in and ready to go. When asked for a prediction, Brie not only predicts her sister to retain, but that she does it with only needing 2 falls. We then head into a video package of the two's rivalry. Nikki Bella(c) def. Charlotte in a 2-of-3 Falls Match to retain the WWE Divas ChampionshipAfter Nikki took Fall 1 with a Rack Attack, Charlotte took Fall 2 with a simple small package. Nikki had to dip in the tricks of John Cena with an Attitude Adjustment to win, but only as Charlotte's foot wasn't seen on the bottom rope.Dolph Ziggler gets an interview with Renee Young backstage, being the rightful #1 contender after this past Thursday. Renee Young asks who he'd rather face on SmackDown this week for the WWE Universal Championship, he arrogantly says he can beat them both. Ziggler then emphasizes, saying he know he can beat Dean Ambrose as he proved this past week, but he doesn't truly think Braun Strowman can be put through a table. Ziggler says if Ambrose loses tonight, it will be just like SmackDown, and it will be because of his own fault and that he's not fit to be champion. Ziggler said no matter what happens tonight, the company won't have to worry about an unfit world champion come Thursday. Dean Ambrose(c) def. Braun Strowman in a Tables Match to retain the WWE Universal ChampionshipAs Dean Ambrose and Braun Strowman were battling on the ringpost, Ambrose battled and even bit Braun Strowman and knocked him off into the table, calling for the bell. Not noticing the bell had rung, Ambrose even dropped an elbow from the top rope.As Dean Ambrose was explained he already won, right as he went to set up another table, he accepted his WWE Universal Championship but at that moment he was blasted by Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler beat Ambrose down and took advantage of the table Ambrose pulled out and set it up in the corner. Ziggler took Ambrose and slung him through the table set up in the corner. Ziggler spotted the belt on the ground and held up Ambrose's WWE Universal Championship as we cut to backstage. Tom Phillips is with his guest John Cena, the #1 contender, and when Phillips asked about his title match in mere moments, Cena said he's ready and prepared and wants to tie Ric Flair's 16-time record right now. However, when Phillips brings up Nikki Bella retaining the WWE Divas Championship tonight with the Attitude Adjustment, Cena has no words and decides to get up and end the conversation there as we see a video package of Bray Wyatt's reign so far and how Cena was chosen by the champion to wrestle tonight. Bray Wyatt(c) def. John Cena in a TLC Match to retain the WWE World Heavyweight ChampionshipAs John Cena had hit the Attitude Adjustment on Bray, putting him through the table, Cena set up the ladder and slowly climbed for the title up high. When Cena got to the top, the lights went out with the infamous Bray Wyatt prelude to his entrance, but as the lights were out, Nikki's titantron played. Capturing Cena's attention, he was at the top of the ladder and didn't grab the title, but as the lights came back on, Bray Wyatt was standing underneath and tipped Cena over, and this sent Cena to the outside of the ring where two tables were stacked previously in the match, allowing Bray to climb back up and retain his title.WWE: Tables Ladders and Chairs ended tonight with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt resting at the top of the ladder and at the top of the world.

December 12 2016 WWE World Heavyweight Champion kicked off tonight's Raw and Bray Wyatt put himself on "the next rung" after beating John Cena last night at TLC. Bray said he has an idea to advance his title reign past the greats, and that is at New Year's Resolution. Wyatt gets interrupted by Mick Foley and Foley says first, he is the General Manager and will make the call. Foley says the next PPV is New Year's Resolution, that happens to be on New Year's Day. Foley recalls sitting at home and watching on the WWE Network last year's event that had Seth Rollins retain his WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but also saw Bray Wyatt lose in that match. Foley says he's making Bray Wyatt defend his title inside an Elimination Chamber, in which he receives a sadistic laugh. Bray said he's never met someone who could read his mind before, but someone who fell off the Cell structure might be it. Wyatt says it ate at him for months the fact he lost his opportunity to win the world title last January and main event WrestleMania, and having never won an Elimination Chamber Match, he'll be more than happy to defend his title in the Chamber. Foley was shocked at the reception, but says he'll begin the qualifying matches tonight, but in fact, right now! Foley says the first two that will have a chance are Alberto Del Rio and Daniel Bryan.
Alberto Del Rio def. Daniel Bryan Del Rio and Bryan had a rematch after last night, and it ended differently too, as Del Rio qualified with a Cross Armbreaker while Bryan submits.
As word is sent from Mick Foley's office, Michael Cole and Tyson Kidd announce the other qualifying matches. Samoa Joe versus United States Champion Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn versus Rusev, and Christian versus Kalisto.
Dana Brooke was backstage and was then approached by Mick Foley, who let Dana know she indeed does have a match tonight against Bayley. Dana tried to get out of it, but Foley walked away before his ear had any more damage.
The Vaudevillians headed out and demanded the WWE Universe and the Raw fans to bow for them saving the WWE Tag Team Championships once again and keeping them on Monday nights. This moment was ruined by The Usos, who recalled pinning the champions last week and feel they're next in line for a title shot. Aiden refused to agree, and even made an excuse his index finger was hurting him. He volunteered Simon for a match against one of them, which was accepted by Jimmy Uso.
Jimmy Uso w/Jey Uso def. Simon w/Aiden With one Uso Splash, Jimmy Uso beat one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions and kept The Usos in title contention.
Brie Bella just exited the divas locker room when John Cena was headed up. Cena asked if Nikki was in there, in which Brie confirmed. When Cena wanted to go talk to her, Brie stood in his way. Brie even told John Cena that with Nikki's career thriving as it is, with her as the WWE Divas Champion, that she asks Cena to step back and give Nikki some space. This hurts Cena, as you can tell, as they go back to the ring for the next qualifier.
Samoa Joe def. Roman Reigns in a non-title match Kevin Owens, who came down to watch up close, threw popcorn into Roman's face and the ref decided not to call it, but Joe locked in the Coquina Clutch to qualify.
As Samoa Joe qualified for the Elimination Chamber Match, Kevin Owens got in the ring and beat up Roman Reigns. Owens got the United States Championship and said if Reigns was a true champion, that would be his #1 priority. Owens ended his statement with a Popup Powerbomb before laying the title belt on Roman's chest.
Backstage, Christian is at the interview table with Tom Phillips, as Tomko stands behind Christian. When asked about his victory over Sami Zayn last night on the Kickoff, Christian was offended by being placed on the Kickoff show and said his victory against Zayn was one of the best moments in all of 2016 and should have been treated as such. Christian said he expects the match to be put on a "Best of" DVD soon, and when Phillips let out a chuckle, Christian lashed out and said everyone's doubted him, just like everyone doubted he would beat Sami, and he did, and like everyone doubted Tomko would show up, which he did. Phillips apologized and asked about his qualifying match tonight, Christian answered he won't be on the Kickoff anymore and is going to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event.
Charlotte headed to the ring complaining about the referee not making the right decision, and that she should be standing in the ring as the new Divas Champion. Kelly Kelly's music hit and the crowd went nuts as Kelly Kelly, drafted back in October, is making her first night back in over four years. Kelly Kelly said Charlotte should not dwell on what she didn't change, because after all, Nikki looked like the real "genetically superior athlete" last night. Charlotte took offense to this and insulted Kelly Kelly's past before decking her with the microphone and hitting Natural Selection to spoil K2's return, as Raw headed to commercial.
Kalisto def. Christian w/Tomko Christian's dreams of a world title fell through when he lost to the Salida del Sol.
As the graphic is shown as Kalisto being the third man to qualify for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber Match, we take it backstage to Alberto Del Rio at the interview table. Del Rio's asked about qualifying earlier, in which he responds last night at TLC was a fluke and he proved it tonight while securing himself a world title shot. Del Rio promises he'll be a 5-time world champion on January 1st.
Dana Brooke def. Bayley Dana earned a cheap victory raking the eyes before kicking Bayley in the face and winning this match.
With the main event moments away, Cole and Kidd realize after Rusev's and Sami Zayn's match, there will still be one slot to fill. They are curious as to whom it may be, but they advertise a match made for next week between Charlotte and Kelly Kelly, with Kelly participating in her first match in over four years next week. They also mention the WWE Tag Team Championships being on the line where The Vaudevillians defend against The Usos.
Once Rusev and Lana make their way to the ring, they mention their perfect relationship. Rusev calls Lana his rock and says she's always supportive and helps him succeed. Lana said she hopes she's never a setback for his career like John Cena was for Nikki Bella. Rusev and Lana had a good laugh and Lana wished Rusev good luck before his match with Sami Zayn, one that will qualify him for the Elimination Chamber. They kiss and out comes Sami Zayn.
Sami Zayn def. Rusev w/Lana Seated in the corner, catching his breath, Rusev heard the music of John Cena and got to his feet to see Cena out there in rage, but gets caught with a Helluva Kick by Zayn to lose.
Sami Zayn didn't have much time to celebrate his spot in the Elimination Chamber as John Cena darted to the ring and attacked Rusev after his and Lana's comments earlier. Cena would even lift Rusev up for an Attitude Adjustment before pointing down at Rusev, commanding he leave his name out of his mouth. Cena stood tall and wasn't in the posing mood as he left Rusev in the ring, Lana knelt next to him, as Raw went off the air.

December 14 2016 A very special edition of NXT, airing on the USA Network as a feature of WWE Week on USA, begins with the champions of NXT in the ring, tag team champions American Alpha along with the world champion Apollo Crews. They spoke out about the recent actions of The Tolutasi. They said their duty was to protect NXT and with them being on the USA Network tonight, challenged The Tolutasi to a match right now!! The crowd roared until The Tolutasi came out and Tama Tonga eventually accepted their match, but not right now. He said they believe they're the main event, and that is what they'll be tonight.
Kassius Ohno def. Fandango Kassius used the Ohno Blade to put Fandango away on the USA Network.
Charly Caruso gets a word with Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. Charly asks Royce why she'd lay down last week and give Billie Kay the title shot against Asuka, when Peyton explains she and Billie have been lifelong best friends and a title opportunity isn't going to change that. Billie chimed in and said once she beats Asuka for the NXT Women's Championship, Peyton gets the first shot. Caruso stirs the pot saying some feel that Peyton Royce is the weakest link of this friendship and that she couldn't beat Asuka on her own. Peyton said she could beat Asuka on a moments notice, and this is when William Regal overhears the conversation. Regal says if that is the case, he expects Peyton Royce in the middle of the ring tonight as he finds Asuka. Peyton looks scared, but Billie Kay calms her down.
The Revival def. Strange Bedfellows Dawson and Wilder had a rough time against Abyss and Steve Marx but came out on top with Shatter Machine applied to Marx.
Michael Bennett is shown pacing through the halls of Full Sail searching for Adam Cole, who has been avoiding him since NXT Takeover Toronto. No luck for Bennett in finding Cole.
Asuka def. Peyton Royce w/Billie Kay Royce was hesitant to make contact with Asuka, and once she did, it was Asuka sending a message to Billie Kay, ending this match quickly with the Asuka Lock.
A video package airs to warn everyone about Despair coming to NXT, as the commentators then advertise next week's match, Baron Corbin against Kassius Ohno, exclusively on the WWE Network.
The Tolutasi def. Apollo Crews and American Alpha Going up against the champions of NXT, they surprisingly cleanly went over with a Codebreaker Tower on Chad Gable.
After making such an impact on the main event, The Tolutasi continued to take out Apollo Crews and Jason Jordan to be the only three standing in near sight as NXT's special episode on the USA Network comes to a close.

December 15 2016 Dolph Ziggler began tonight's episode, not dressed to compete. Ziggler speaks about his opportunity to become WWE Universal Champion tonight and says he wanted to give everyone a sneak preview of what to expect on SmackDown moving forward. Ziggler mentions a lot of glamorous upgrades at SmackDown and also promises the elite to be shown on SmackDown, in which he elaborates by saying it will be two hours of Dolph Ziggler each week. Ziggler acknowledges complaints about the distraction that helped Ziggler over Ambrose last week, and doesn't come out and say he had anything to do with it, but he tugs at his dress shirt sleeve and says he always has something in store. Ziggler tells Ambrose to go ahead and kiss the title goodbye, before dropping the mic and headed on his way. JBL and Rich Brennan take over and mention the WWE Universal Championship match tonight, as well as Finn Balor versus Kane next!
Finn Balor def. Kane With a short rivalry earlier this year, Balor was able to come out on top with a Coup de Grace.
Renee Young gets a word with New York's Finest, who are disappointed about coming up short, and Enzo Amore takes the blame. Blake and Murphy then head over and say it was their fault that the WWE Tag Team Championships aren't home on SmackDown anymore. Enzo and Cass take this as fighting words and challenge them to settle it in the ring, and they accept doing so, hoping they could get their names in the hat for The Vaudevillians and the titles.
Tye Dillinger def. Kaval w/Emma A rough outing for Tye Dillinger, but he's able to hit a Tye Breaker and escape with the win.
Nia Jax enters the SmackDown General Manager's office and asks for a WWE Matrons Championship match against Natalya tonight. Stratus was offended by this, blaming Nia Jax for Sasha Banks not being at full strength and not being able to put on the best match possible on Sunday. Nia Jax said that is exactly why she should get her title match, because no matter if her health is at 0, 50, or unlucky for Natalya, 100 percent, she gives her all. Trish says a title match for Nia won't be happening because she has already decided that next week Naomi and Becky Lynch will compete for the opportunity to face Natalya for the WWE Matrons Championship at New Year's Resolution. Nia was infuriated by the decision, but left without destroying Trish's office.
New York's Finest def. Blake and Murphy Bada Boom Shackalacka put Blake and Murphy in their places, as they hit it on Murphy to get back on the winning track.
A vignette was aired for the return of a new and improved Justin Gabriel after the commercial break, in which we saw R-Truth dancing towards the ring for his next match. Sheamus headed out and before the bell would ring, Sheamus complained that Shinsuke Nakamura cheated on Tuesday night and Nakamura knows if it was a fair fight, he would be Intercontinental Champion this instant. Sheamus told the referee to ring the bell after informing R-Truth what happens tonight isn't his fault.
Sheamus def. R-Truth Sheamus ran right through R-Truth and put him away with not just one Brogue Kick, but a second Brogue Kick after helping him up.
Back in her office, Trish Stratus is with Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura who just watched that bout. She brings up the deal made with Mick Foley earlier this week at Tribute to the Troops, that they are having an interpromotional match at New Year's Resolution on January 1st. The loser of that encounter will be entering the Royal Rumble #1 overall, while the winner is guaranteed to be entering in the final five spots. Shinsuke caught on and confirmed Trish was asking him to represent SmackDown on New Year's Day, in which she asked, and Nakamura asked about Sheamus. Stratus told Nakamura to worry about the Royal Rumble, because the Intercontinental Championship might not be the gold he holds in 2017.
Natalya def. Maria in a non-title match After Maria came and ran her mouth about being the biggest attraction in WWE, despite losing to the Bella Twins, the Matrons Champion forced her to submit to the Sharpshooter.
Renee Young gets an interview with WWE Universal Champion Dean Ambrose moments before he heads out to defend the title against Dolph Ziggler. Renee asks Dean on his thoughts about the "tricks up the sleeve" reference Ziggler made earlier, in which Ambrose said he's expecting the unexpected tonight. Ambrose warned Ziggler to do the same, as Ambrose heads towards the ring as we cut to the commercial break.
Coming back from commercial, Rich Brennan and JBL remind everyone that next week Naomi and Becky Lynch will compete for a title shot at New Year's Resolution against Natalya. They also advertise Cody Rhodes being in the building, his first appearance since his victory at TLC in a Chairs Match against Ryback.
Dean Ambrose(c) def. Dolph Ziggler to retain the WWE Universal Championship Ambrose had the match in the bag when The Miz's music hit and he came out, to the confusion of everyone, as Ziggler tried taking advantage of it by a Zig-Zag from behind, yet Ambrose held onto the ropes. Ziggler then tried a Superkick, in which Ambrose avoided and hit Dirty Deeds for the 1, 2, 3.
The Miz watched on as Dean was handed the WWE Universal Championship, in which The Miz stormed the ring and started to attack Dolph Ziggler. Dean Ambrose shrugged his shoulders and just as he was about to exit the ring, Miz turned his attention, pulled Ambrose to the center, and hit the Skull Crushing Finale. The Miz would sweep Ziggler out of the ring with his feet, and see the WWE Universal Championship on the mat. He picked it up and raised it high above his head, signaling he wants an opportunity next as SmackDown went off the air.

December 19 2016 Raw begins with Mick Foley in the center of the ring, a ring that is surrounded by almost every Raw male talent. At the top of the ramp is shown Alberto Del Rio, Kalisto, Sami Zayn, and Samoa Joe. Foley acknowledges the four men that qualified last week, while announcing a tag team match for later tonight, and even looked out into the sea of superstars to find those who lost their opportunity last week, between Daniel Bryan, Christian, Rusev, and Roman Reigns. Foley is giving them redemption tonight, as well as everyone at ringside, because he's giving all a fair chance at going into the Elimination Chamber with a battle royal to kick off Raw. Foley wishes them luck as he exits the ring for everyone else to get inside. Foley begins walking up the ramp when the Wyatt intro starts, the lights go out, and Bray Wyatt appears on the titantron. The champion issues a fair warning to Del Rio, Kalisto, Zayn, Joe, and whoever wins the battle royal, that the Elimination Chamber is just for the legacy of his championship reign. Wyatt warns them about winning this battle royal, but wishes them luck, and calls for the timekeeper to ring the bell.
Big Show wins the Battle Royal, qualifying for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber In one that excluded superstars such as Big E, Cesaro, and Chris Masters, Big Show threw Tyler Breeze over last to win the match.
As Big Show celebrated one of his biggest victories in 2016, we cut to the back where a brawl between John Cena and Rusev was out of control stemming from their participation in the battle royal. Security would come and tear these two apart, really having to control Cena, as Mick Foley shouted repercussions for them to cease. Foley, on the spot, sent Rusev and Lana home and away from the building. Foley turned to Cena, sympathizing with his built-in frustration, and put him in a match tonight against the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt.
Bayley def. Dana Brooke In a rematch from last week, Bayley avenged the loss and hit a Bayley-to-Belly on Dana to win.
Kelly Kelly is invited by Tom Phillips to his interview table, in which Phillips asks about Kelly's return to in-ring action later tonight against the longest reigning Divas Champion in history, Charlotte. Kelly recognized her opponent is in the prime of her career right now, so she hopes there is no ring rust, because she's been training since getting drafted to Raw. Kelly Kelly is ready for Charlotte's best and is excited about getting in the ring tonight for her fans.
Kalisto and Sami Zayn def. Alberto Del Rio and Samoa Joe Kalisto and Zayn worked well together to take out Del Rio and Joe, with a Helluva Kick followed by the Salida del Sol to Del Rio.
Christian and Tomko enter Mick Foley's office, wanting to know what Foley wanted, in which Foley brought up the deal made with Trish Stratus about an interpromotional match on New Year's Day at the pay-per-view. Foley said he's picking Christian to face Shinsuke Nakamura, in which Christian asks if it's for the Intercontinental Championship, and when Foley answers no becomes uninterested. Foley explains the parameters and when Christian is fearful he'll lose and enter the Royal Rumble at #1, Foley tries to encourage Christian because even if in the worse case, Foley says Christian is the ideal wrestler to enter at #1. Christian leaves with fake assurance, while Tomko didn't buy any of it and just goes along with it.
Kelly Kelly heads for the ring for her match with Charlotte and doesn't get to the ring until she's blasted from behind by Charlotte. Charlotte handles Kelly Kelly around the outside of the ring and eventually hits a Natural Selection on the outside. Charlotte laughed down at Kelly Kelly, marking her territory that is now hers as we head to commercial.
After Michael Cole and Tyson Kidd replay what happened, they send it to the ring as WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella is standing in the ring with sister Brie Bella. Nikki scooted around what's been going on with her the last couple months and thanks Brie for being there for support. Nikki says she beat Charlotte at TLC and now she's looking for a new competitor, and wants to give the title shot on January 1st to her sister. Brie isn't sure to take it, and has to be begged by Nikki to accept. Nikki said they'll be good sports and the title won't change them being sisters, when Brie finally caves and accepts. Nikki hugs Brie and raises her hand as the title match becomes official for New Year's Resolution.
Big Show is introduced by Tom Phillips at his interview table backstage, and after Big Show makes a joke of the chair being pretty small, Phillips asks Big Show about qualifying for the Elimination Chamber in two weeks. Big Show says he's nearing the end of his career and getting a world title opportunity this close to WrestleMania means a great deal, as he's never headlined WrestleMania as the champion. Big Show also, without being prompted, brings up Bray Wyatt. Big Show recalls Wyatt sending a warning to the battle royal winner, and he wants to send a warning to Bray next week in one-on-one action.
The Vaudevillians(c) def. The Usos to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships The Vaudevillians cheaply keep their titles, as Simon held the trunks on Jey Uso outside the referee's vision.
As the show comes back from commercial and the main event is about to start, Michael Cole and Tyson Kidd confirm a match between Big Show and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt for next week. They cut quickly to backstage where an attack was carried out by Samoa Joe and Alberto Del Rio on Kalisto and Sami Zayn after earlier. The two leave Kalisto and Sami Zayn on the hallway floors, with Sami holding his shoulder. After this attack, John Cena begins his entrance in front of the crowd.
Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena in a non-title match ends in a no contest As Cena actually was digging into the world champion and about beat him, out came Rusev and Lana who were sent home. Cena left the ring and made a beeline for Rusev, where the brawl started back up, and the referee called for the bell.
Rusev and John Cena brawled continuously on the outside as Bray Wyatt grabbed his championship and headed out. Cena and Rusev battled through the whole arena, even getting into the crowd, and as Cena tossed Rusev back over the barricade to ringside, Lana stepped in the way long enough for Rusev to hightail it up the ramp. This is how Raw would end tonight, a chaotic and out of control episode.
