December 21 2016 Kaluka Maiava w/The Tolutasi def. Shane Hollister Hollister fell to Maiava with a low-angle charging shoulder block in Kaluka's first taste of singles action.
After Kaluka's big win, Ku Mahana and Tama Tonga got in the right as Tonga controlled the mic. Tonga recalled last week when The Tolutasi beat NXT's best and said they could leave NXT content, up to the main roster, but they aren't satisfied with being content. Tama demanded Ku and Kaluka challenge American Alpha for the NXT Tag Team Championships, and Tonga put his name in the hat for Apollo's NXT Championship. Crews and American Alpha headed out ready to accept the challenge, but William Regal appeared. Regal says that isn't how it'll be. Regal blames The Tolutasi for everything wrong over the last month and says they won't be rewarded for that. American Alpha then stood up and said if they won't get title shots, to at least have a match with them tonight. Regal made the match Jordan and Gable against Mahana and Tonga right now!
American Alpha w/Apollo Crews def. Ku Mahana and Tama Tonga w/Kaluka Maiava in a non-title match As Maiava tried to give the edge to The Tolutasi, Apollo offset it and allowed Grand Amplitude to be hit on Mahana for the win.
Michael Bennett was seen looking around Full Sail searching for Adam Cole, in which to no prevail. Bennett is then asked by a cameraman if he has any message for Adam Cole, in which Bennett responds he's fighting next week and if Cole isn't here, then he'll just have to fight anything walking and breathing.
Tessa Blanchard def. Carmella A slingshot German Suplex gave Tessa the win over Carmella.
Kassius Ohno is backstage and moments before his match with Baron Corbin is asked about his thoughts going in, in which Ohno feels confident. Ohno says he's been on a role since NXT Takeover Toronto and feels if he beats Baron Corbin tonight, he's deserving of a NXT Championship match in 2017.
A video package is shown warning those of Despair coming to NXT. After the video package, advertised for the final NXT of 2016 is a title match, Billie Kay challenging Asuka for the NXT Women's Championship.
Baron Corbin def. Kassius Ohno Corbin put Ohno away with the End of Days as he stood tall after a grueling test.
Afterwards, Baron Corbin did signal around his waist a title, putting the NXT Champion Apollo Crews on notice and anyone who wants to step in his way.

December 22 2016 SmackDown starts off tonight with Rich Brennan and JBL bringing up a tweet sent out earlier today by The Miz, issuing the return of MizTV. They speculate on that as Cody Rhodes makes his first appearance since TLC. Cody gets some time on the stick and thanks everyone for the well wishes sent to him and his arm admittedly isn't 100% but will get in the ring as soon as he can. Curt Hawkins then came out and said Cody's arm is just fine and it's just a little stinger, a little bruise, and Curt then brought up "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes and said he'd never take a night off because of a little "armitis"... This comment set Cody Rhodes off and demanded a referee to the ring for a match right now.
Cody Rhodes def. Curt Hawkins Curt's mouth wrote him a check once again he couldn't cash, falling victim to an angry Cross Rhodes.
Naomi gets interviewed by Renee Young about tonight's #1 contenders match with Becky Lynch. Naomi says she's valued WWE Matrons Champion Natalya as a mentor and says it would mean the world to wrestle her for the title at New Year's Resolution and become the second ever Matrons Champion.
In the ring, Dolph Ziggler is ready for action. Finn Balor's music hits, and when Balor doesn't appear, we see live footage of Kane beating Balor down in the hallway. Kane leaves Finn down, unable to compete, as Ziggler is in the ring and decides to grab a microphone, complaining about new management in Trish Stratus holding him back. Ziggler says The Miz's involvement should have caused an immediate disqualification for Dean Ambrose and he should be WWE Universal Champion right now. Kofi Kingston then decided to head out and say Ziggler's not been held back, he had the title opportunity last week and it is his own fault he didn't win. Kingston says he'd love the opportunity Ziggler has had to prove himself, and since Balor is taken out, Kofi feels opportunity has knocked. Ziggler decides he won't wrestle Kofi, but Trish Stratus heads out to the stage and makes Kingston the replacement.
Kofi Kingston def. Dolph Ziggler Trouble in Paradise gave Kofi a valuable win here on SmackDown.
A vignette was aired for the return of a new and improved Justin Gabriel while Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady make their way to the ring with a rematch from last week against Blake and Murphy.
New York's Finest def. Blake and Murphy It was a quick loss for Blake and Murphy, with this time Blake falling victim to the Bada Boom Shackalacka.
Sheamus heads to the office for Trish Stratus and demanded a match with Shinsuke Nakamura for the Intercontinental Championship next week to end 2016, but isn't granted one, yet is placed in a match against Erick Rowan in moments, as she makes him step toward the ring.
Becky Lynch gets interviewed by Renee Young about the opportunity tonight. Becky says she is looking toward WrestleMania already and wishes to become WWE Matrons Champion on this Road to WrestleMania, which begins tonight.
Sheamus def. Erick Rowan Upset about his championship suggestion being rejected, he ended Rowan with a Brogue Kick.
As Rich Brennan and JBL give an update on Finn Balor's condition, they announce of a match from Trish's office that if healthy, Balor will wrestle Kane at New Year's Resolution on January 1st. They then get ready for the next match as Naomi takes on Becky Lynch for a shot at Natalya's title at the Pay-Per-View event.
Becky Lynch vs. Naomi ends in a no contest As the two are nearing the end of their battle, Nia Jax comes and spoils the party, attacking both.
After laying both out with Samoan drops and leg drops, Nia Jax grabs a mic and demands her shot at Natalya on January 1st. Trish Stratus comes out, frustrated, not knowing what to do. She instead makes the match at New Year's Resolution against both Naomi and Becky Lynch. Trish then takes it a step further to suspend Nia Jax indefinitely! Trish hurries security to the ring, as Nia Jax knocks the men down one by one. Nia says she'll then step away on her own, as she leaves the ring after leaving a path of destruction.
Back from commercial, the commentators try to wrap their head around what just happened. They also mark a match for next week, Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura against Ryback.
In the ring, The Miz has set up MizTV. He explains his actions last week in the WWE Universal Championship match. The Miz came clean about Ziggler bribing him to come down and distract Ambrose, that Ziggler promised his very first title defense to come against him. The Miz had a spill about him not needing to take bribes and deals to climb his way to the top, as he pours his heart out to the public about all he's done and all he's went through behind the curtain. Dean Ambrose then heads out, the champion himself, and when The Miz asks what he's doing there, Ambrose said simply if he wanted a title match, all he had to do was ask. The Miz, stunned, then asked for a match and Ambrose said maybe. The Miz asked what he had to do, and when Ambrose said kiss his index finger, The Miz was weirded out but humbly kissed the index finger of the WWE Universal Champion. Dean then said that was a little weird, so he said to kiss his foot instead. The crowd, thinking it's hilarious, as The Miz would do anything for a title shot as he got on his hands and knees and just about to kiss the foot of the WWE Universal Champion, low-blows Dean Ambrose. The Miz came up and attacked The Miz, even throwing a chair from the set onto the champ. Miz would pick Ambrose up and hit a Skull Crushing Finale on the champ as he holds the championship up as SmackDown goes off the air.

December 26 2016 John Cena kicked off Raw on the mic and began to reflect on his 2016 year, which he acknowledges fell short of expectations, wanting a 16th world championship. Cena promised everyone he'll win his 16th in 2017 but all he wants this Sunday, to start 2017, is Rusev one-on-one. Mick Foley came and granted Cena this match, citing the reason of Rusev not following orders last week. We then saw Tyler Breeze head out, and Breeze let it be known he has been left off the card for Sunday's New Year's Resolution. Foley was about to send Breeze back to the locker room when Cena said he'd make a deal. Cena issued a challenge to Breeze right now, that if Breeze wins, he can have his spot on the card. Cena says he'll fight for the chance to beat Rusev, in which Breeze leveled it out and decided to do it.
John Cena def. Tyler Breeze Breeze was able to keep up with Cena and put on a match that the crowd thought to be awesome, but it was Cena catching Breeze's crossbody into an AA.
After Cole and Kidd advertise the main event tonight between Big Show and Bray Wyatt, we see the other four confirmed Elimination Chamber participants arguing backstage in the halls. Mick Foley comes and breaks this up and understand Kalisto's and Sami Zayn's issues with Del Rio and Samoa Joe after last week, granting a rematch tonight between the four.
Before United States Champion Roman Reigns is set for action next, Kevin Owens makes his way to the commentary table with Michael Cole and Tyson Kidd to scout his opponent this Sunday.
Christian w/Tomko def. Roman Reigns in a non-title match Reigns could hardly handle Christian and Tomko, but when Kevin Owens provided a distraction that allowed Tomko to use Roman's championship in the back of the head, this allowed Christian to score a major upset.
As Christian celebrated with Tomko, Kevin Owens entered the ring to lay Reigns out with a Popup Powerbomb, sending one last message before trying to regain his title at New Year's Resolution.
Nikki Bella is at the interview table with Tom Phillips and when the Divas Champion is asked the question on everyone's mind about Nikki begging Brie to face her for the title on Sunday. Nikki said her sister's been supportive and it goes back years what she's meant in her life. Nikki said they have been inseparable and after months of dirty and underhanded matches with Charlotte, she wants a clean and honorable title match.
As that interview backstage ends, Charlotte heads to the ring. Charlotte talks about ridding the WWE of Kelly Kelly because people like the Bella Twins didn't see fit to bury her years ago. Kelly Kelly then responded after some derogatory remarks and issues a challenge for Sunday, Kelly Kelly versus Charlotte. Charlotte laughs and said she'd be happy to put her on her back like half her coworkers in the past. This warrants a slap from Kelly Kelly that staggers Charlotte and Kelly tackles the former Divas Champion and Charlotte has to get under the bottom rope and flee until Sunday.
Alberto Del Rio and Samoa Joe def. Kalisto and Sami Zayn Del Rio got Zayn's bad shoulder in the Cross Armbreaker, and as Joe held Kalisto back, Zayn had no choice but to submit.
Mick Foley is on the phone in his office when Christian and Tomko head in, as Christian insists on hurrying Foley off the phone, only to gloat about beating Roman Reigns tonight and having full confidence that he'll defeat Shinsuke Nakamura on Sunday to secure him a late entry in the Royal Rumble. Foley expressed his disappointment with how the match ended, and warns them both about doing the same on Sunday. Christian swears, and makes Tomko do the same, about beating Nakamura fair and square at New Year's Resolution.
Paige headed out and expressed frustration with Brie Bella being handed a title match just because she's the twin sister of the Divas Champion. Paige dared to say Brie hasn't deserved the title match, let alone anything in her career. Brie refuted it, coming out ready to have their scheduled match.
Brie Bella def. Paige Brie proved Paige wrong, using her husband's Yes Lock to win.
Daniel Bryan was watching his wife's match on the monitor backstage when John Cena heads up. Cena asked if he had seen Nikki, in which Bryan wouldn't give a direct answer, and Cena walks away but only after asking Bryan to let Nikki know he wants to speak to her.
After hyping up the Slammy Awards Ceremony this Saturday, exclusively on the WWE Network, Michael Cole and Tyson Kidd advertise the Raw matchups for this Sunday's event, New Year's Resolution on January 1st. They also mention the Slammy Awards this Saturday night on the WWE Network before making a transition to the main event, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt facing Big Show ahead of Sunday's Elimination Chamber title defense.
Bray Wyatt def. Big Show in a non-title match In a shocking turn of events, Big Show had Bray beaten, but Big Show was distracted because of the four men coming out and brawling down the ramp. This allowed Wyatt to recover and behind the ref's back low-blow the World's Largest Athlete, hitting Sister Abigail before getting the ref's attention and winning.
As the action spilled over ringside, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt was trapped, watching his other challengers do battle before the war on January 1st, which is how the final Raw of 2016 ends.

December 28 2016 The Tolutasi started off with Tama Tonga's claim for the NXT Championship against Apollo Crews. This was refuted by "The Lone Wolf" Baron Corbin who said his win against Kassius Ohno last week, as well as his longevity, puts him at the front of the line. The two get into an argument until Mahana and Maiava surround Corbin. Corbin knows what is about to happen when Michael Bennett heads out. Bennett says it's clear that Adam Cole won't come out from his momma's basement to face him like a man, so he wants his name in it because he was unfairly cheated out of it in the first place. Apollo Crews then comes out, the champion, and disagrees with Bennett that he won it fair and square and is the rightful NXT Champion and wouldn't be afraid to defend against anyone in this ring. Regal then interrupted it and shared his idea, that we see The Tolutasi in 6-man action against Corbin, Bennett, and Crews tonight. Regal said if The Tolutasi can win, then next week on the first NXT episode of 2017, Apollo Crews will defend against Tama Tonga. Yet, if they lose, then Corbin and Bennett can duke it out next week for the #1 contendership.
The Revival def. Angelo Dawkins and Mojo Rawley Rawley ate a face full of Shatter Machine from The Revival.
Immediately after winning, Scott Dawson got a microphone in his hands and challenged American Alpha to a title match, saying they want to be 2-time NXT Tag Team Champions before they're done at Full Sail.
Billie Kay and Peyton Royce were interviewed in the back by Charly Caruso about Billie challenging Asuka tonight in the main event, and they guarantee a win tonight. They spend most of the interview talking about the afterparty and what they have aligned for after tonight.
Apollo Crews, Baron Corbin, and Michael Bennett def. The Tolutasi The Tolutasi lose this one after Bennett hits a Ushigoroshi on Mahana to take one.
As Tama Tonga rounds Mahana and Maiava together at ringside and coaches them passionately, Bennett is catching his breath in the ring when a video message shows up on the titantron of Adam Cole. Cole says he has enjoyed his vacation this month and it's time for him to come back, and hints at showing up next week. This caught Bennett's attention, and since Corbin and Crews already left, Bennett was the sole man attacked by The Tolutasi. Tonga had his boys take their frustration out on Bennett, laying him out with a Codebreaker Tower.
Byron Saxton and Corey Graves are excited about next week when Michael Bennett and Baron Corbin square off to determine a new #1 contender, but they wonder if Adam Cole's return may serve as a distraction. They then get ready for the main event, the final match of NXT in 2016, a NXT Women's Championship match.
Asuka(c) def. Billie Kay w/Peyton Royce to retain the NXT Women's Championship Kay stayed in it with Royce's help, and it was only after Royce was caught by the official a third time she was sent to the back and things began to crumble for Billie Kay, submitting to the Asuka Lock.
Asuka held the NXT Women's Championship up high, going into 2017 on a high note as NXT goes off the air.

December 29 2016 The Miz kicked tonight's SmackDown off and informed the fans that tonight is Pick your Poison, and explained in the most effective way to make the fans feel dumb, what the concept of PYP is. The Miz then called out the WWE Universal Champion, because he wants to get this over with and ready for his match. Ambrose answered the call and asked if The Miz was truly prepared, and since he was, cued the music of "The Viper" Randy Orton. Orton headed out ready for competition, with The Miz appearing to have second thoughts.
Randy Orton def. The Miz The Miz was actually moments away from winning until Ambrose stuck his nose in the match and Miz got hit with an RKO Outta Nowhere off the distraction to lose.
As Dean Ambrose made his way up the ramp and celebrated with his championship up high, The Miz was still laying in the ring when he was on the mat and went ahead and told Ambrose his opponent... Braun Strowman! The fun and games stopped there for The Miz, as he's probably regretting upsetting his opponent for Sunday.
Sheamus was in the office of Trish Stratus, back from commercial, demanding a shot at Shinsuke Nakamura's Intercontinental Championship tonight. Stratus did not see the point, seeing as Nakamura is already competing tonight against Ryback. Stratus then compromised and told Sheamus if he wanted to challenge for the championship, to meet her halfway. She offered a #1 contenders match against Kofi Kingston tonight, and the winner goes on to challenge Nakamura on the first SmackDown of 2017. Sheamus wasn't pleased, but when Stratus gave him the option of that or nothing, Sheamus rolled his eyes and left the office after agreeing.
Dolph Ziggler def. Kane As Kane was set to chokeslam Ziggler, Finn Balor's music hit and Balor stepped out, distracting Kane to get hit with a Zig-Zag and lose.
Dolph Ziggler got out of the ring for Finn Balor to come in and chop away at Kane with kicks and strikes and was about to put Kane down with a Coup de Grace, but the Big Red Monster rolled out before Balor could leap. Balor hopped down and declared he was back and wanting a piece of Kane, who was put in the match with Ziggler because of attacking Finn Balor last week.
WWE Matrons Champion Natalya received an interview with Renee Young and when asked about defending her championship against both Becky Lynch and Naomi, she recalled winning the title in a triple threat, so she's feeling confident headed in.
Shinsuke Nakamura def. Ryback in a non-title match Sheamus stopped at ringside to watch Nakamura hit Kinshasa on Ryback to win a non-title match.
After Nakamura was done celebrating, he stepped out of the ring to come face-to-face with Sheamus, who has had his sights on the Intercontinental Championship. Sheamus then stepped in the ring for his #1 contenders match, in which Nakamura returned the favor and sat in the very steel chair Sheamus got up from.
Sheamus def. Kofi Kingston At one point, Sheamus threw Kingston into Nakamura and as Nakamura restrained himself, Sheamus went on a few moments later to hit a Brogue Kick and pin Kofi.
As Sheamus celebrated his big victory to become #1 contender to Shinsuke's Intercontinental Championship, the champion waited for Sheamus to turn around into a Kinshasa and delivered! Nakamura had the last laugh as he held his title up high headed out of the ring.
After a vignette was aired for the return of Justin Gabriel, we see Blake and Murphy with interviewer Renee Young. They made it clear they want to leave 2016 in the past and they want to begin 2017 on a right note, challenging New York's Finest to a match next week to kick off the new year.
A replay of last week's interaction with Trish Stratus and Nia Jax played when Nia Jax was suspended indefinitely, and as this replay aired, it gave enough time for Renee Young to make her way to the office of Trish Stratus. Renee knocked and headed in, asking Stratus for a moment. When Stratus granted that request, Young asked about Nia Jax and her suspension. Stratus said action of that sort is a last resort and doesn't know when she'll lift her ban, as she's wanting to get advice from The Rock and other mentors before any further action is taken. Stratus then dismisses Renee Young to watch the main event up next.
Right before the main event, we hear Rich Brennan and JBL hype the matches on SmackDown's part of New Year's Resolution, last promoting the WWE Universal Championship match between Dean Ambrose and The Miz. That segways into Ambrose's match in Pick your Poison against Braun Strowman.
Dean Ambrose def. Braun Strowman via Disqualification Ambrose had trouble getting Strowman off his feet, but once he did, started to gain momentum. This was derailed when The Miz hopped the barricade, grabbed Ambrose's championship, and got in the ring to smash the belt over Ambrose's skull, calling for a DQ.
The Miz continued to attack Dean Ambrose and when he noticed Braun Strowman staring on, Miz went back to beating up Ambrose. Strowman left with no clue what's going on as The Miz finished the attack of laying the championship down and hitting a Skull Crushing Finale on it. Miz rubbed Ambrose's face into the title as the last straw before their match on January 1st this Sunday, which is how SmackDown ends tonight.
