The First Move
The new owner made it an immediate priority to announce that rookie Head Coach, Zac Taylor would remain the team’s coach for the foreseeable future despite the team being under new management. It has also been announced that the new owner will also assume the responsibilities as the team’s General Manager and have final say over the final 53 man roster. Expect several moves to be made as he looks to reshape the Bengals in his own image. |

Free Agent Signing
The Bengals have announced their first FA signing under the new owner. Safety Eric Berry is heading to Cincinnati on a 1 year deal. But this is not your normal 1 year move. Management expects Berry in Cincinnati for the rest of his career and will immediately seek out options to sign him long term as the season goes on. The new owner views Berry as not only an elite playmaker but an elite leader as well. |
